Abstract

This study aims to describe leadership support, work environment, work morale, and the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. It also analyzes the influence of leadership support and the work environment on the quality of public services, both directly and indirectly through work morale. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was 12,264 people served by the Population and Civil Registration Office of West Tanjung Jabung Regency, with a sample of 100 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that leadership support and the work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee work morale. Work morale was proven to play an important role as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of leadership support and the work environment on the quality of public services. These findings confirm that the optimization of public services is not only determined by the procedural system, but also by managerial support and a conducive work environment. This research is expected to provide a practical contribution to the Population and Civil Registration Office of West Tanjung Jabung Regency in improving the quality of services, while enriching academic studies on the relationship between leadership, work environment, work enthusiasm, and the quality of public services

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of job analysis and promotion on competency, analyze the influence of job analysis and promotion on performance, and analyze the influence of job analysis and promotion on performance through competency at Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital, Jambi Province. The method used in this study was descriptive and quantitative statistics, using tabulation of respondent questionnaires as the basis for processing descriptive statistics and quantitative methods using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and the Smart PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The research object in this study was job analysis and promotion through competency on employee performance at Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital, Jambi Province, with a sample of 90 respondents from a total population of 881 employees. In accordance with the assessment of job analysis, promotion, competency, and employee performance at Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital, Jambi Province, the job analysis had a total score of 4309, categorized as good. Furthermore, the promotion factor showed a total score of 3080, categorized as very good. Furthermore, the competency factor overview shows a total score of 2295, categorized as very high, while the employee performance factor overview shows a total score of 2580, categorized as high. In accordance with the analysis results using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, job analysis has a important impact on competency, promotion has a important impact on competency, Employee performance is positively and substantially impacted by job analysis, positively and substantially impacted by promotion, positively and substantially impacted by competency, as well as substantially impacted by job analysis through competency and promotion through competency.

Abstract

This research objectives to ascertain discipline, work facilities, motivation, and the quality of The general public services at the Regional Finance and Assets Agency of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. It also analyzes the influence of discipline and work facilities on motivation and their impact on the quality of The general public services. This research was conducted at the Regional Finance and Assets Agency of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data used in this research were secondary and primary data. The sample size was 86 respondents. This sampling technique is known as saturated sampling. The data analysis method used was a descriptive and verification approach using Partial Least Squares (PLS) data analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that employee discipline is categorized as high. The work facilities used are in good condition. Employee motivation is categorized as high. The quality of The general public services provided is categorized as good. The results of the verification analysis indicate that discipline and work facilities have a positive and noteworthy impact on employee motivation. Discipline, work facilities, and motivation have a direct, positive and noteworthy impact on the quality of The general public services. Furthermore, motivation has been shown to mediate the influence of discipline and work facilities on the quality of The general public services. Therefore, it can be concluded that improving discipline and providing adequate work facilities can boost employee motivation, ultimately improving the overall quality of The general public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the picture of discipline, work environment, job satisfaction and employee performance at the Telanaipura District Office and to determine and analyze the influence of discipline and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Telanaipura District Office. This type of research uses descriptive verification research. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The sampling technique uses the census method. This study uses the PLS analysis method which consists of testing the outer model and inner model. From the PLS analysis shows that discipline and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at the Telanaipura District Office. In addition, discipline, work environment, and job satisfaction are also directly proven to have a positive and significant influence on improving employee performance. Not only direct influence, discipline and work environment also have an indirect influence on employee performance through increasing job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of leadership style, work environment, motivation and employee performance at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency and to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on motivation and its impact on employee performance at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. This type of research uses descriptive verification research. This study uses the PLS analysis method. The results of the descriptive study explain that the total score of leadership style is 2144 in the good category. Then for the description of the work environment variable shows that the employee work environment at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency is good with a score of 3191. Furthermore, the description of the motivation variable shows that the motivation score is 3721 in the high category. While the description of the employee performance variable shows that the score is 3709 in the high category. In addition, the results of this study also show that leadership style and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee motivation and performance at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Improving leadership style and the quality of the work environment will encourage increased employee motivation, which in turn has an impact on improving their performance. In addition, motivation has been proven to play an important role as a factor that strengthens the influence of leadership style and work environment on performance, so that both factors, both directly and through motivation, are able to provide a real contribution to improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the description of work environment competency, motivation and quality of public services at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of West Tanjung Jabung Regency and to determine and analyze the influence of competency and work environment on the quality of public services through motivation at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This type of research uses descriptive verification research. This study uses the PLS analysis method. Descriptively, competency, work environment, motivation, and quality of public services at the DPMPTSP of West Tanjung Jabung Regency show that competency is in the high category, work environment is in the good category, motivation is in the high category and quality of public services is in the good category. In addition, the results of the study indicate that at the DPMPTSP of West Tanjung Jabung Regency, competency and work environment have a positive and significant influence on motivation and quality of public services, both directly and through the role of motivation as an intervening variable. Increasing employee competency encourages increased work motivation which ultimately has an impact on better quality of public services. Likewise, a conducive work environment can spur employee work enthusiasm so that the quality of public services increases. Self-motivation has been shown to be an important factor that strengthens the relationship between competence, work environment, and the quality of public services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe organizational support, interpersonal communication, nurses' work commitment, and the quality of public services at KH. Daud Arif Kuala Tungkal Regional General Hospital, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, and to analyze the influence of organizational support and interpersonal communication through work commitment on the quality of public services. The population of this study was the community or patients totaling 24,405, while the sample size in this study used Slovin's theory with a margin of error of 10% so that 100 people were obtained. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method and used Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis. The results showed that organizational support and interpersonal communication have an influence on the quality of nurses' services, both directly and indirectly through work commitment. This explains that when nurses feel supported by the organization, and open and effective communication between colleagues and with leaders creates a conducive and collaborative work atmosphere, then this factor can directly improve the quality of services provided to patients. Meanwhile, indirectly, organizational support and interpersonal communication can strengthen nurses' work commitment, which is demonstrated through their loyalty, responsibility, and dedication in carrying out their duties, thus having a positive impact on improving the quality of health services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of competence and career development on employee performance through motivation at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The methods used in this study are descriptive verification and quantitative methods. The object of research in this study is the Influence of Competence and Career Development on Employee Performance Through Motivation at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Based on the approach, it can be seen that the number of samples is 62 people. This study uses the PLS analysis method. The results of the study show that Competence has a positive and significant effect on motivation, Career development has a positive and significant effect on motivation Competence does not have a significant effect on employee performance, Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Competence has a positive and significant effect on performance through work motivation and Career development has a positive and significant effect on performance through work motivation. For further research related to the study, it is hoped that further researchers will add other variables that can theoretically affect employee motivation and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe job characteristics, compensation, work motivation, and employee performance at PERUMDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi, as well as to analyze the influence of job characteristics and compensation on work motivation and their impact on employee performance. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving all employees as the population, with the sample determined through proportional stratified random sampling. Primary data were collected through questionnaires measuring variables of job characteristics, compensation, work motivation, and employee performance, while secondary data were obtained from the company’s internal reports. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both the measurement and structural models. The findings indicate that job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation is proven to be a significant mediating variable in the relationship between job characteristics and employee performance, as well as between compensation and employee performance. These results emphasize that well-designed jobs and a fair, competitive compensation system can enhance motivation, which in turn drives employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of servant leadership and intrinsic motivation on employee performance through organizational commitment in Subdistrict Government Institutions. The method used in this research is descriptive verification and quantitative methods. The object of research in this study is the Influence of Servant Leadership and Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance Through Organizational Commitment in Jelutung Sub District Government, Jambi City. In this research, the sampling technique used was a nonprobability sampling approach with a purposive sampling method. Based on the approach, it can be seen that the number of samples is 56 people. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on data processing, Servant Leadership is in the serving category. Then, to describe the Intrinsic Motivation variable, it shows that the Intrinsic Motivation of employees in Subdistrict Government Institutions is high. Next is a description of the Organizational Commitment variable in the high category. Meanwhile, an overview of employee performance variables in the high category. Based on the research results, Servant Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, Intrinsic Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, Servant Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Intrinsic Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Servant Leadership has a significant and positive effect on employee performance through Organizational Commitment and Intrinsic Motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance through Organizational Commitment in SubDistric Government.
