Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe organizational culture, organizational justice, work stress and performance of PUPR Merangin Regency employees and to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational justice partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on work stress and employee performance, as well as to analyze work stress on employee performance. To answer the purpose of this research, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely organizational culture, organizational justice, work stress, and performance. In addition, the author is also looking for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this study is PUPR employees totaling 93 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this study is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial).From the path analysis test conducted, it was found that organizational culture and organizational fairness affected work stress by 74.2% while the rest was influenced by other variants. Organizational culture and organizational justice affect 75.1% of employee performance in the Merangin Regency PUPR Office. This study concludes organizational culture, organizational fairness, work stress and employee performance in good and high conditions. In addition, organizational culture and organizational justice partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on work stress and employee performance at the Merangin Regency PUPR Office. Similarly, work stress has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of transformational leadership style, work discipline, motivation and employee performance, analyzing and testing the influence of transformational leadership style and work discipline on employee performance through employee motivation as a mediating variabel. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on the research results, transformational leadership style and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Transformational leadership style, work discipline and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through motivation, while work discipline does not have a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the work environment, motivation, job satisfaction and performance of PT. Sinarmas Multifiance Jambi Branch and to analyze the influence of work environment and motivation partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on job satisfaction and employee performance, as well as to analyze job satisfaction on employee performance. To answer the purpose of this research, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely work environment, motivation, job satisfaction and performance. In addition, the author is also looking for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this study is employees of Sinarmas Multifinance Jambi Branch which amounts to 61 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this study is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis testing conducted, it was found that the work environment and work motivation affected job satisfaction by 46.28% while the rest were influenced by other variants. Work environment and motivation affect 43.14% of employee performance at PT. Sinarmas Multifinance Jambi Branch. This study concludes the work environment, motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance are in good and high condition. In addition, the work environment and motivation partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction and employee performance at PT. Sinarmas Multifinance Jambi Branch. Similarly, job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to enable researchers to determine the influence of democratic leadership style and work motivation on employee performance mediated by competency at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the democratic leadership style is in the good category. Then for work motivation in the very high category. Furthermore, competency is in the Very High category. Meanwhile, employee performance is in the high category. Based on the research results, democratic leadership style has no significant effect on competence, work motivation has a significant and positive effect on competence, democratic leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Democratic leadership style does not have a significant effect on employee performance through competence and work motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance through competence in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of East Tanjung Jabung Regency.

Apart from that, the author also looked for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this research is ASN employees totaling 73 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this research is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, it was found that leadership style and work discipline influenced work motivation by 46.28% while the rest was influenced by other variants. Leadership style and work discipline have an influence of 43.14% on employee performance at the Merangin Regency Education and Culture Office. This research concludes that leadership style, work discipline, work motivation and employee performance are in good and high condition. Apart from that, work discipline and work stress partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on work motivation and employee performance at the Merangin Regency Education and Culture Office. Likewise, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Learning more about workplace motivation, leadership style, corporate culture, and employee performance is the aim of this study. It also seeks to examine how leadership style and organizational culture affect employee performance and motivation at work, both directly and indirectly. Lastly, it looks at how employee performance is affected by workplace motivation. Conducted at the Office of Subdistrict Head Tungkal Ilir in West Tanjung Jabung Regency, There were 48 employees in the study's sample. Using census sampling methods, all personnel served as subjects for the investigation. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that both organizational culture and leadership style were categorized as good, whereas employee motivation and performance were classified as high. Through path analysis, It was discovered that leadership style and organizational culture exert both direct and indirect influences over employee motivation and performance. Moreover, simultaneous and partial tests confirmed that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between organizational culture, leadership style, motivation levels, and overall employee performance. In summary, improved organizational culture coupled with suitable leadership practices contribute positively to higher employee motivation. Consequently, motivated staff perform optimally in delivering superior work outputs for the organization.

Abstract

The government is creating a teacher certification program that will evaluate teachers' professionalism and determine how well they are able to perform their jobs in order to boost their desire to produce high-quality work. Researchers examine how organizational culture and environment affect teachers' performance and motivation in Madrasah Aliyah, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, West Part. This endeavor serves as a standard by which teachers are judged. Quantitative research was used to finish this study. The 39 samples that were used were chosen based on this research. Additionally, the description of the work environment, organizational culture, motivation, and performance of instructors at Madrasah Aliyah, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, West Region, is based on quantitative data collection and analysis using SPSS.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to obtain an overview and describe the motivation, leadership style, work environment, discipline, and performance of employees; as well as to identify and analyze the direct and indirect effects of motivation, leadership style, and work environment on the discipline and performance of employees at the Fire and Rescue Department. The population in this study consists of 76 staff members of the Command Headquarters of the Fire and Rescue Department in Merangin Regency, based on conditions in 2024. Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis and a survey method are used in this quantitative study. The validity and reliability of the outer model were examined prior to the study. Then, R-Square (coefficient of determination) and F-Square (f2 effect size) were used to test the inner model. The study's findings indicate that, both directly and indirectly through work discipline, leadership style and work environment have a favorable and significant impact on employees' performance at the Fire and Rescue Department's Command Headquarters in Merangin Regency. It has been discovered that motivation has little bearing on worker performance, either directly or indirectly, through work discipline.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to describe job analysis (JA), career development, competencies, and employee performance; 2) to analyze the direct and indirect effects of job analysis (JA) and career development on competencies; 3) to assess the direct and indirect effects of job analysis (JA) and career development on employee performance; 4) to determine the effect of competencies on employee performance; and 5) to evaluate the effect of job analysis (JA) and career development on employee performance through competencies. The research method employed descriptive and verificative analysis with a path analysis approach. The sample consisted of 62 respondents, and data were collected through a census survey using a questionnaire. The findings of the study are as follows: 1) The variables of job analysis, career development, and competencies are in fairly good condition, while performance is categorized as moderate; 2) Job analysis (JA) and career development have direct and indirect effects on competencies; 3) Job analysis and career development have both direct and indirect effects on employee performance; 4) Competencies have an effect on employee performance; 5) Job analysis and career development through competencies impact employee performance.

Abstract

This study evaluates and analyzes the impact of work facilities and internal communication on civil servant performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable, at the Education and Culture Office of Muaro Jambi Regency. Using both descriptive and verification methods, the research involved 62 employees from the office and employed the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method for analysis. The results from the questionnaire indicated that work facilities had a total score of 2859, classified as good, while internal communication scored 2836, also in the good range. Work motivation was rated at 3080, placing it in the high category, and employee performance scored 3099, which is similarly high. The findings show that work facilities have significant impact on motivation. Internal communication also positively and significantly influences motivation. Additionally, both work facilities and internal communication have significant effect on employee performance. Motivation is demonstrated to positively and significantly affect employee performance. Moreover, work facilities and internal communication both positively and significantly impact employee performance through the mediation of motivation at the Muaro Jambi Regency Education and Culture Office.
