Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of finding out the description of the condition of motivation, organizational culture and employee performance at the Social Service, KB, P3A Bungo Regency, motivation and organizational culture through organizational commitment to employee performance at the Social Service, KB, P3A. The object of this research is the Social Service, Family Planning, P3A of Bungo Regency. Using census techniques, the number of respondents in this research was 61 people. This research produces information that (1) Motivation has a direct influence on work commitment. (2) Organizational culture does not have a direct influence on Work Commitment. (3) Simultaneously motivation and organizational culture have an influence on employee work commitment at the Social Service, Family Planning, P3A. (4) Organizational motivation has a direct influence on performance. (5) Organizational culture has no direct effect on performance. (6) organizational commitment is very strongly influenced by motivation and organizational culture. (7) organizational commitment influences organizational performance. (8) Organizational commitment does not have a motivational influence in increasing employee performance. (9) Organizational commitment does not influence organizational culture in increasing employee performance. (10) simultaneously motivation, organizational culture and organizational commitment have no effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the leadership style, work environment, discipline and performance of employees of the Muaro Jambi Regency Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency and to analyze the partial and simultaneous direct and indirect influence of leadership style and work environment on employee discipline and performance, as well as to analyze discipline towards employee performance. The population in this research are employees of the Muaro Jambi Regency Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency, totaling 44 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this research is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, it was found that leadership style and work environment had an influence on discipline by 79.39% while the rest was influenced by other variants. Leadership style and work environment have an influence of 80.72% on employee performance at the Muaro Jambi Regency Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency. This research concludes that the leadership style, work environment, discipline and employee performance are in good and high condition. Apart from that, the leadership style and work environment partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee discipline and performance at the Muaro Jambi Regency Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency. Likewise, discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the motivation, work facilities, organizational commitment and performance of employee at Dinas Peindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jambi. Then for analyze the influence of motivation and work facilities on organizational commitment, analyze the influence of organizational culture and style leadership of motivation and work facilities on employee performance , then analyze effect of organizational commitment on the performance of employees, then analyze the influence of motivation and work facilities through organizational commitment to employee performance. This research is a research using descriptive and verification research methods, namely a a method in examining a group of people, an object, situation and condition of a system of thought with the aim of making a description, a systematic picture according to the facts being investigated. The verification research aims to test hypothesis about the influence of the variables of this study. The analytical tools used in this study were track analysis and samples used by census method involving 96 employees. Data were analyzed using SPSS.22. The results of the research show that motivation in high conditions, work facilities in good condition, organizational commitment and employee performance also high , that motivation and , work facilities simulataneously or partial positive and significant effect on Organizational commitment, motivation and work facilities simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on performance employee, and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance employee at Dinas Peirindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jambi.

Abstract

Banana stems have benefits and can be processed into products with economic value. People sometimes ignore banana stems. Waste that is thrown away requires processing to reduce the amount of waste in the environment. The purpose of community service is to innovate to utilize banana stem waste into commercial products. The results of the community service are chips products that have characteristic flavors from the mixture. The community's response after participating in the training and eating the chips product: 1) opening up home business opportunities for the community in RT 03, Talang Banjar Village. 2) reducing waste from banana stems that are thrown into the environment. 3) providing useful knowledge and training to the community in RT 03, Talang Banjar Village.

Abstract

Liquid contains many pollutants that can pollute the soil, groundwater and surface water. Talang Banjar Market is close to residential areas. The generation of waste and liquid waste from the market can pollute the environment and public health. Community service methods 1) conducting counseling. 2) providing materials. 3) practicing making artificial wetlands. 4) Participants are residents of RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The purpose of community service is to provide counseling and practice in handling liquid using an wetland system. The results increase knowledge and skills in handling liquid in RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The enthusiasm of residents is quite high in participating in counseling and practicing waste handling with wetlands system. The concern of residents around the traditional market area for the environment is a potential that must be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Training and Discipline on Employee Performance mediated by Work Competencies at the Job Training and Productivity Center (BLKP) of Jambi Province. This study uses a descriptive and verifiable approach, focusing on 60 BLKP employees as the object of research. The analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. From the results of the questionnaire, it was obtained that the training was considered effective with a total score of 2624. Employee discipline at BLKP Jambi is also relatively high, with a score of 1754. Employee Work Competencies showed a high score with a score of 2213, and Employee Performance was also included in the high category with a score of 2622. The results of the study show that Education and Training have a positive and significant effect on Work Competence, and Discipline also has a positive and significant influence on Work Competence. In addition, Training and Discipline each have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Work Competencies also have a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance. Furthermore, the results of the analysis show that Work Competency significantly mediates the influence of Training and Discipline on Employee Performance in BLKP Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study investigates the roles of compensation, work competence, and work discipline in influencing employee performance at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office. It also examines how compensation and competence impact employee performance indirectly through work discipline. Utilizing descriptive verification research methods, the study focuses on the relationships between these variables. The research employs Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. Survey results reveal that the compensation score is 1384, indicating a satisfactory level. Work competence is rated highly, with a score of 2295. Work discipline also scores high at 1877, while employee performance is rated even higher at 3241. The findings indicate that both compensation and work competence positively and significantly impact work discipline. Additionally, compensation, competence, and discipline all have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Notably, compensation and competence also positively influence employee performance through their effects on work discipline at the Jambi Class B Search and Rescue Office.

Abstract

Enhancing employee motivation and performance is crucial for effectively achieving organizational objectives. This study aims to examine the impact of leadership style and employee placement on motivation, as well as its subsequent effect on the performance of civil servants within this agency. The research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method, gathering data through questionnaires distributed to 71 employees. The data was analyzed using a structural model via the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. The findings indicate that both leadership style and employee placement positively and significantly influence motivation, with effects of 56.4% and 43.1%, respectively. Additionally, motivation has been shown to significantly influence employee performance by 30.8%. Leadership style and employee placement, both directly and through motivation, contribute positively to enhancing the performance of civil servants. Based on these outcomes, it is suggested that leaders at the Jambi Province Regional Office of the National Land Agency enhance collaboration with subordinates and recognize exemplary employees to further boost motivation and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the work environment, competence, work discipline, and employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Jambi City. It also seeks to determine the direct and indirect effects of the work environment and competence on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline. The population in this study consists of employees at departement of public works and spatial planning Jambi City, totaling 217 individuals. The sample size for this study was determined using Slovin's formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in a sample of 69 respondents. This research employs a quantitative approach using survey methods and data analysis through Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that the work environment and competence have a positive and significant direct and indirect effect on employee performance through work discipline. Similarly, work discipline has a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance. These findings explain that a good and conducive work environment, supported by high employee competence—including relevant skills and knowledge—enables employees to perform their tasks more effectively. This directly impacts their discipline and performance in carrying out their duties.
