The data used in the study is based on secondary data procured from notable and trustworthy websites such as the Government Statistics Department (BPS) and publishes only found in Google Scholar and Emerald. The data was collected with a quantitative approach in mind resulting in most of the data being analytical data and statistics. The state of the industry of tour and travel represented by the ratio and number of rooms occupied during a given year shows a significant drop from the then 59,56% to 15,61% and number of visitors dropped immensely, close to 83% from the year before. The effect it had on Bali’s GRP is a reversal in economic growth from 252.138.88 to 224.214.11 billion rupiah.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of herding behaviour, perceived market efficiency, and investment performance on the investment decisions of individual investors in the Indonesian capital market, while investigating investor experience as both a direct predictor and a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using data from 225 individual investors, and the proposed relationships were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that herding behaviour has no significant effect on investment decisions, whereas perceived market efficiency has a significant negative effect and investment performance has a significant positive effect. Investor experience has a positive and significant direct effect on investment decisions. Furthermore, investor experience positively moderates the relationship between perceived market efficiency and investment decisions and negatively moderates the relationship between investment performance and investment decisions, but does not significantly moderate the effect of herding behaviour. These findings extend the behavioral finance literature by demonstrating that investor experience functions as a boundary condition that alters the effects of market perceptions and prior investment performance on investment decisions. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of investor education that strengthens market information evaluation, risk assessment, and learning from previous investment outcomes rather than relying primarily on social investment cues.

Abstract

Leadership research often assumes that different leadership styles influence employee performance through similar mechanisms. This study examines whether knowledge sharing selectively mediates the relationship between leadership styles and employee performance. Data were collected from 181 employees across nine branches of Korea Banking (KB) Bank Regional Sumatera and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement model showed satisfactory reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. The results indicate that transformational leadership directly affects employee performance (β=.387, p<.001) but neither influences knowledge sharing nor yields indirect performance effects. Transactional leadership has no direct effect on performance (β=-.034, p=.702) but significantly influences knowledge sharing (β=.524, p<.001) and indirectly affects performance (β=.145, p<.001). Democratic leadership significantly affects knowledge sharing (β=.231, p=.026) and performance (β=.341, p<.001), with a significant indirect effect (β=.064, p=.036). The findings confirm that knowledge sharing serves as a selective pathway between leadership styles and performance. This study is limited by its cross-sectional design, single organizational context, and self-reported data. This study contributes to the leadership and knowledge management literature by highlighting the distinct mechanisms through which leadership styles influence performance and the importance of knowledge-sharing systems.

Abstract

This study investigates how behavioral biases and financial literacy shape investors’ decisions in the stock market. The proposed model integrates herding behavior, loss aversion, and financial literacy while incorporating Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) as a mediating mechanism linking behavioral tendencies to investment decisions. Data were collected from 331 Indonesian capital market investors, with the sample predominantly consisting of young adults and students, and analyzed using (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that loss aversion and financial literacy significantly influence investment decisions, whereas herding behavior does not demonstrate a significant direct effect. However, the indirect analysis shows that FOMO mediates the relationships between both herding behavior and loss aversion and investment decisions. These results suggest that investors’ decisions are shaped not only by financial knowledge and individual cognitive tendencies but also by emotional responses arising from social influences and perceived investment opportunities. By integrating cognitive, financial, social, and emotional factors within a single framework, this study provides further insight into investment decision-making from a behavioral finance perspective

Abstract

The breadth of corporate governance boards encompasses a range of viewpoints and vigilant oversight in assessing management decisions and their impact on dividend strategies. This research seeks to explore how the inclusion of female board directors affects firm value through the dividend payout ratio, drawing on data from companies listed on the IDX High Dividend 20 stock index from 2018 to 2022. Financial and annual reports sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the companies themselves serve as the basis for this investigation. Findings suggest that the involvement of women on boards influences the company's dividend payout ratio. However, there's no observed impact on firm value through this ratio. Interestingly, the presence of women in executive director roles is found to have a noteworthy, direct negative impact on firm value.

Abstract

Rapid advancements in digital technologies such as crowdfunding, blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI) have transformed the landscape of digital entrepreneurship, particularly among Generation Z. However, previous studies have yielded mixed results regarding the impact of these new technologies on digital entrepreneurial intention, and the role of technological literacy in strengthening this relationship has not been extensively explored in the existing literature. Therefore, this study examines the effects of crowdfunding, blockchain, and AI performance on digital entrepreneurial intention and assesses the moderating role of AI literacy. This research employs a quantitative method based on Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected from 425 Generation Z respondents in Indonesia using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The study results show that crowdfunding has a positive and significant effect on motivation for digital entrepreneurship. However, blockchain and AI performance did not show a significant direct effect. Moderation analysis shows that understanding AI significantly influences the relationship between blockchain and digital entrepreneurial intention. Nonetheless, knowing about AI does not greatly change how crowdfunding, blockchain, and AI performance connect with the desire to start a digital business. These results show how important digital funding platforms are for encouraging young people from Generation Z to start their own businesses. They also stress how vital it is to understand AI to make the best use of new technologies in online entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology has transformed the way people conduct financial transactions, including the use of electronic money (e-money). However, despite this growth, many users discontinue using e-money over time, highlighting a gap in understanding the factors that sustain its usage. Various factors, such as customer innovativeness, ease of use, and perceived security, influence the adoption of e-money services. This study addresses this problem by identifying the influence of customer innovativeness, perceived behavioral control (PBC), and e-security on customer continuance intention to e-money usage (CCIEU). The study uses a descriptive method and a quantitative approach. Data was gathered through an online survey, where e-money users filled out questionnaires. The analysis was done using the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) technique. The findings show that customer innovativeness has a positive impact on CCIEU, mediated by PBC. However, e-security does not have a strong effect on between the relationship between customer innovativeness and CCIEU. These findings provide useful insights for formulating strategies to enhance e-money adoption in society.
