Abstract

Pembelajaran sosial emosional memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk keterampilan interpersonal mahasiswa, khususnya calon guru dalam Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mendorong pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang aspek sosial emosional adalah role play. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi metode role play dalam pembelajaran sosial emosional serta memahami persepsi mahasiswa terhadap efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa PPG yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran sosial emosional dengan metode role play. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) reduksi data dengan memilah dan menyeleksi informasi penting; (2) penyajian data dengan mengorganisasikan serta menginterpretasikan temuan; dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan melalui proses verifikasi kemudian data diperiksa dengan menggunakan Teknik keabsahan data berupa teknik triangulasi yang terdiri dari triangulasi sumber, teknik waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode role play memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam bagi mahasiswa, meningkatkan empati, keterampilan komunikasi, serta kemampuan dalam memahami dan mengelola emosi. Namun, beberapa kendala yang ditemukan meliputi kesiapan mahasiswa dalam bermain peran dan keterbatasan waktu dalam penerapan metode ini di kelas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pendukung seperti bimbingan yang lebih intensif dari dosen serta pengelolaan waktu yang lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dalam mengoptimalkan metode role play sebagai strategi pembelajaran sosial emosional yang lebih efektif bagi mahasiswa PPG.

Abstract

Research stems from students low comprehension of abstract ecosystem concepts and the limited variety of instructional media used by teachers. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving fifth-grade students and teachers at SDN Banyumanik 01 Semarang as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that the use of diorama media significantly enhanced students’ engagement and comprehension of the subject matter. This was evidenced by an increase in the average score of the Mid-Semester Assessment (PTS), from 70 to 85, after the implementation of diorama-based learning. Additionally, students demonstrated success in three main indicators based on observation and interview data: collaboration, responsibility, and communication skills. Throughout the learning process, students showed enthusiasm and active participation. Therefore, it can be concluded that diorama media is an effective tool to improve elementary school students learning outcomes, especially in food chain topics within IPAS learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran diferensiasi sebagai upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN Tlogosari Wetan 02. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas V dan siswa-siswa di kelas tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran diferensiasi yang mempertimbangkan minat, profil belajar, dan kesiapan siswa mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih inklusif dan menyenangkan. Strategi diferensiasi dalam konten, proses, dan produk pembelajaran terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa serta menumbuhkan motivasi belajar mereka. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran diferensiasi dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pengajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The relatively low achievement of students in the IPAS subject remains an issue that needs to be addressed through the implementation of effective teaching approaches. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of differentiated instruction based on learning styles in improving the academic performance of third-grade students at SDN Karangroto 02. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Two classes participated in the study: the experimental group, which received differentiated instruction, and the control group, which was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that the experimental class demonstrated a more substantial improvement in learning outcomes compared to the control class. The N-Gain score for the experimental group was 0.32, categorized as moderate, while the control group only achieved a score of 0.12, which falls under the low category. Furthermore, t-test results revealed a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that differentiated instruction is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is an approach that provides space for students to learn according to their needs, interests, and learning profiles. However, in practice, the application of differentiated learning in elementary schools, especially in science subjects (Natural and Social Sciences), is not easy. This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced by teachers in the implementation of differentiated learning at SDN Karangroto 02. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the main challenges include limited planning time, lack of teachers' in-depth understanding of the concept of differentiation, high administrative burden, and limited learning resources and facilities. In addition, the diversity of student characteristics and the level of readiness to learn are also inhibiting factors. This study recommends continuous training for teachers, adequate provision of resources, and stronger collaboration between education stakeholders to support the successful implementation of differentiated learning

Abstract

This study investigated the implementation process of paper glass learning media and its impact on students' responses in Mathematics learning at SDN Banyumanik 01. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies, with the researcher as the primary instrument for data acquisition. The research was conducted at SDN Banyumanik 01 in November 2024. The subjects of the research were first-grade students of SDN Banyumanik 01, while the object of the research was the application of paper glass learning media in Mathematics learning in the second grade of SDN Banyumanik 01. The results of the study indicated that the use of paper glass learning media made students more enthusiastic and interested in learning Mathematics. The use of paper glass media received positive responses from students and had a positive impact on classroom learning, as students enjoyed using the paper glass media, which led to increased enthusiasm, a conducive classroom environment, and more engaging learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di Kelas VI SDN Banyumanik 01 Semarang. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan (Field Research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik análisis datanya meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di Kelas VI di SDN Banyumanik 01 Semarang sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Guru menggunakan strategi pembelajaran learning style (gaya belajar) melalui pemetaan gaya belajar dengan mengelompokkan murid menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu: kelompok belajar visual, kelompok belajar auditori dan kelompok belajar kinestetik. Ketiga kelompok murid dengan gaya belajar diberikan materi ajar dan metode yang berbeda-beda sesuai gaya belajarnya masing-masing. Dampak dari pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang dilaksanakan dapat melatih murid untuk melakukan aktivitas belajar secara mandiri yang mampu mendorong peningkatan keaktifan murid dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of differentiated learning combined with the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) approach in improving the engagement and learning outcomes of elementary school students with varying levels of ability. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of students in class [mention class] at [mention school name or location] who were divided into an experimental group (receiving differentiated learning with the SAVI approach) and a control group (receiving conventional learning). Student engagement data were collected through observation and questionnaires, while student learning outcome data were obtained through formative and summative tests. Data analysis used statistical tests [mention the type of relevant statistical test, for example: independent t-test or two-way ANOVA]. The results of the study are expected to provide empirical insight into the positive impact of SAVI-based differentiated learning on the engagement and learning outcomes of students with different learning characteristics, as well as its implications for teaching practices in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi program Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter peserta didik secara holistik di SDN Bangetayu Wetan 02. Program SRA merupakan inisiatif pemerintah yang menempatkan hak-hak anak sebagai landasan utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman, nyaman, inklusif, dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan guru dan tim SRA sekolah, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip SRA telah diintegrasikan dalam berbagai aspek kegiatan sekolah, seperti pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, rutinitas pembiasaan positif, serta pendekatan partisipatif yang mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif. Kendati demikian, implementasi SRA masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan dana, kurangnya sarana prasarana, serta tidak meratanya pelatihan bagi guru. Keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat pun masih perlu ditingkatkan agar tercipta sinergi dalam mewujudkan sekolah yang benar-benar ramah anak. Dengan demikian, keberhasilan program SRA sangat ditentukan oleh komitmen dan kolaborasi seluruh elemen sekolah serta dukungan berkelanjutan dari pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study aimed to determine the effect of the Make A Match learning model on fourth-grade students’ critical thinking skills in Matematika at SDN Kaligawe. The Make A Match model is a cooperative learning strategy that engages students in finding matching pairs of question and answer cards, thereby promoting active participation and deeper understanding of the material. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with pretest and posttest. Data were collected through a critical thinking skills test administered before and after the treatment. The hypothesis testing was conducted using SPSS with the criterion that if Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. The results showed a significant difference between students’ performance before and after the implementation of the Make A Match model. The SPSS output indicated a significance value of 0.00, which is lower than 0.05, meaning the hypothesis was accepted. The average pretest score was 55, which increased to 80 in the posttest.In conclusion, the implementation of the Make A Match learning model in teaching the Hindu-Buddhist and Islamic kingdoms material in IPAS is more effective than the conventional lecture method in improving fourth-grade students’ critical thinking skills at SDN Kaligawe. Keywords: Make A Match, Critical Thinking
