Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the development of consumer information systems at the Dira Jaya Sinar Reski cooperative as well as find out user responses to the system to be developed. This research uses the type of R&D (Research and development) research and prototype development model that uses data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the research, a Web-Based Consumer Information System was developed at the Dira Jaya Sinar Reski Cooperative which has been tested using ISO 25010 testing using 8 aspects of testing that have been validated by content experts. The final result of the overall assessment is that the Consumer Information System at the Web-Based Dira Jaya Sinar Reski Cooperative was declared valid by the validator lecturers, and declared effective based on functional suitability aspects, and declared practical based on user responses that have been tested from the usability aspect.

Abstract

In the Bangkala Region of Jeneponto Regency, farmers continue to depend on the conventional system for the fertilizer ordering process. This system results in inefficiencies and consumes the time of both sellers and buyers. We require an Android-based fertilizer ordering system that integrates directly with the server. The objective of this study is to develop an Android-based application for ordering fertilizer in the Bangkala region. This application was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) methodology and the waterfall development model. The results of this research have yielded a product in the form of an Android-based fertilizer ordering application, which will be utilized by farmers in the Bangkala Region, Jeneponto Regency. The system was tested using the ISO 25010 standard across four aspects: functional suitability, portability, usability, and performance efficiency. Functional suitability testing indicates that this application is "suitable" for use. Portability testing revealed that this fertilizer ordering application system runs well on several versions of Android. The usability testing results of the application have been categorized as "Very Good". Furthermore, performance efficiency testing shows that the CPU usage is at 4%, memory usage at 156.4 Mb, and the application network activity is at 80 Kb/s. Based on this data, the application has been well-received by users and can serve as a streamlined platform for ordering fertilizers for farmers.

Abstract

The Circuit Breaker (PMT) plays a very important role in the substation system because the PMT is the equipment responsible for disconnecting the load current during a disturbance. This study aims to determine the results of insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, and simultaneity of the Circuit Breaker (PMT), evaluate the quality of the PMT, and determine the results of the NGR (Neutral Grounding Resistor) testing at the Panakkukang Substation. This research employs a quantitative method using an ex post facto research design. The research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Panakkukang Substation, with the object being the 150 kV transformer bay Circuit Breaker (PMT). The results obtained from this study show that the insulation materials and contact components of the Circuit Breaker installed in transformer bay 2 are still in good and safe condition. The Circuit Breaker can trip according to normal simultaneity performance. The quality of the PMT is still in safe and operational condition, and the NGR (Neutral Ground Resistor) test results for transformer bay 2 indicate that it is still in good and safe condition.

Abstract

Abstrak. Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut adanya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan vokasi untuk menyiapkan tenaga kerja yang mampu beradaptasi dengan teknologi modern. Pendidikan vokasi di Indonesia, khususnya di tingkat sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK), masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengajarkan keterampilan yang sesuai dengan tuntutan industri. Artikel ini membahas program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMK 10 Makassar, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam praktik pemesinan melalui penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan Virtual Reality (VR). Melalui pelatihan berbasis AR dan VR, siswa diharapkan dapat lebih memahami konsep pemesinan yang kompleks dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri modern. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman teknis dan keterampilan siswa, yang juga diperkuat melalui uji statistik. Artikel ini memberikan panduan pelaksanaan, hasil, dan kesimpulan dari penerapan teknologi AR dan VR dalam pendidikan vokasi sebagai upaya menjembatani kesenjangan antara pendidikan dan industri. Kata Kunci: Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Pendidikan Vokasi, Praktik Pemesinan, Kompetensi Siswa, Revolusi Industri 4.0

Abstract

Pelatihan Desain Grafis bagi Siswa SMA/SMK Parepare merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan desain grafis di kalangan siswa tingkat menengah. Dengan fokus pada siswa di Parepare, program ini bertujuan memberikan akses lebih luas terhadap pengetahuan terkini dalam desain grafis. Latar belakangnya didorong oleh pengenalan akan pentingnya desain grafis dalam era digital, di mana kemampuan visual dan kreativitas memegang peranan krusial dalam berbagai industri. Pelatihan ini akan menekankan pada pemahaman konsep dasar desain grafis, penguasaan perangkat lunak terkini, dan aplikasi keterampilan dalam proyek praktis. Diharapkan, melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam pengaplikasian teori ke dalam praktik akan merangsang minat mereka untuk mengembangkan karir di bidang desain grafis. Program ini tidak hanya menjadi langkah awal dalam memperkuat keterampilan desain siswa, tetapi juga diharapkan dapat menciptakan landasan yang solid untuk pengembangan kurikulum yang responsif terhadap dinamika perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan industri masa depan.

Abstract

This study explores the application of machine learning for local market prediction in e-commerce. By leveraging the RFM segmentation method, the model predicts product sales based on user shopping patterns. The RFM score, calculated using recency, frequency, and monetary values of customer purchases, segments customers into distinct categories. The research utilizes a dataset obtained through seven parameters and performs data preprocessing. K-Means clustering then classifies customers into Low, Medium, and High levels based on their RFM scores. Customers in the Low category exhibit low purchase activity but high product browsing. The Medium segment displays consistent purchases of a limited product range. High-level customers demonstrate frequent purchases with significant spending. The identified customer segments enable targeted marketing strategies. For Low-level customers, discounts or product feature promotions can incentivize purchases. Combining product offerings can entice Medium-level customers to explore new products. Finally, High-level customers can be engaged through loyalty programs offering rewards. This approach empowers e-commerce sellers to tailor marketing strategies for each customer segment, enhancing market dominance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Research and Development yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pengembangan sistem keamanan gedung Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro. Serta untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan sistem keamanan gedung Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro FT UNM Menggunakan Radio Frekuensi Identification (RFID) Berbasis Mikrokontroler. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan yaitu prototyping. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh sebuah sistem keamanaan gedung Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro FT UNM, yang merupakan sistem berbasis Mikrokontroler. Selanjutnya pengujian alat ini diuji coba dengan pengujian blackbox diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa fungsi yang terdapat pada sistem keamaan gedung ini berfungsi dengan baik dan hasil pengujian sistem melalui tahap uji coba validasi ahli konten dengan presentase kelayakan yang dilakukan oleh dua validator yaitu 18 dengan presentase 100%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa rancangan pengembangan sistem keamanan gedung JPTE menggunakan RFID berbasis mikrokontroler. telah bekerja sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang akan dikerjakan dengan setiap komponen sesuai spesifikasi dan tujuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelaikan instalasi listrik rumah tangga di Desa Pallantikang Kecamatan Rumbia Kabupaten Jeneponto berdasarkan standar PUIL 2011. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah instalasi listrik rumah tangga yang berusia di atas 10 tahun berjumlah 200 rumah. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 50 unit rumah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, pengukuran dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan instalasi listrik rumah tangga 100% tidak sesuaidengan standar PUIL 2011. Hal ini disebabkan terdapat salah satu atau beberapa komponen instalasi yang tidak memenuhi standar PUIL 2011. Untuk penghantar, 27 unit rumah atau 54% tidak sesuai standar PUIL 2011. Untuk tahanan isolasi, 25 unit rumah atau 50% tidak memenuhi standar PUIL 2011. Untuk pembumian, 49 unit rumah atau 98% tidak memenuhi standar PUIL 2011. Untuk pengaman, 13 unit rumah atau 26% tidak memenuhi standar PUIL 2011. Sedangkan untuk polaritas pemasangan komponen, 17 unit rumah atau 34% tidak memenuhi standar PUIL 2011.

Abstract

Effective and transparent public service is a key indicator of good governance, especially in the education sector. Initial findings revealed that the administrative services at the Takalar District Education Office were still manual, unintegrated, and lacked accessible information. This study aims to develop a centralized, transparent, and easily accessible public service system available on web platforms. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with development stages synthesized from various instructional models, including ADDIE, 4D, Borg and Gall, Prototyping, and Dick & Carey. The stages included needs analysis, system design, prototype development, expert validation, user testing, and limited implementation. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to administrative staff and teachers. The final product was administrative service system website. System evaluation based on ISO/IEC 25010 demonstrated validity across all standards aspects: functionality, efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. Based on the development and testing software results confirm that the system is functional, user-friendly, and effective as a digital public service solution for improving administrative performance in the education sector.

Abstract

Compression is a field that needed at this time where increasingly high-tech digital and computing makes it possible to process data in a size that is large enough like multimedia. Compression needed to keep pressing the storage media consumption of data and information stored on computer media. The Shannon-Fano compression algorithm is one of the well-known compression algorithms and is useful in saving data storage space. Shannon-Fano compression algorithms can be performed on text and digital images. In this study applying the Shannon-Fano method to homogeneous digital images using applications created with the MATLAB Program. The product of this research will be tested using several images taken using a webcam. The product tested to find out whether the coding used is correct or has errors. The product will be successful if it can reduce the size of the compressed image from the original image. Homogeneous images that have tested using the Shannon-Fano image compression application have an average compression ratio value of 52%. The size of the compression results reaches half of the original image. The Shannon-Fano compression algorithm detects the number of times that characters appear in each experiment, then the coding of the frequency of characters appearing in binary numbers.
