Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konten media sosial Instagram @buswayfansclub terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pengikutnya terkait layanan Transjakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial, khususnya Instagram, sebagai sumber informasi alternatif di kalangan masyarakat urban. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 100 responden yang merupakan pengikut aktif akun @buswayfansclub. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier sederhana, serta uji koefisien determinasi dan statistik T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara konten yang disajikan oleh akun @buswayfansclub dan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pengguna Transjakarta, dengan nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,949. Artinya, sebesar 94,9% kebutuhan informasi responden dijelaskan oleh konten akun tersebut. Dimensi konten yang berkontribusi mencakup kualitas (quality), kuantitas (quantity), dan keahlian pengirim (sender’s expertise). Kebutuhan informasi yang dipenuhi meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, integrasi personal dan sosial, hingga kebutuhan eskapisme. Temuan ini memperkuat posisi akun komunitas sebagai sumber informasi publik yang kredibel dan efektif di era digital, terutama dalam konteks layanan transportasi publik seperti Transjakarta.

Abstract

Abstract This community service activity aims to empower vocational school students through increasing digital literacy and understanding of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE Law) in order to support the achievement of the 4th point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely quality education. Based on a series of activities that include pre-activities, educational interventions, and post-activity evaluations, it was found that the level of digital literacy of SMK Negeri 33 North Jakarta students is very enthusiastic but there are several points to be concerned about, namely the obstacles to the majority of students not understanding the importance of digital literacy, including the ability to verify information, digital ethics, and legal consequences in cyberspace. Understanding of the ITE Law, including its revisions, important articles, legal sanctions, and personal data protection, is also still limited. The educational interventions carried out succeeded in increasing students' awareness, but the post-test results showed that their comprehension had not improved significantly, with the average comprehension score only ranging from 23%–26%. This is likely influenced by the difference in difficulty between pre-test and post-test questions, as well as the limited implementation time. Therefore, a more intensive, contextual, and sustainable advanced educational strategy is needed so that students not only understand the technical aspects of digital literacy, but also be able to apply it ethically and legally in their daily lives.Keywords: digital literacy, ITE Law, student empowerment, vocational schools, quality education, SDGs 4

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are utilized by government institutions and companies in public relations (PR) practices, and to relate these findings to crisis management strategies. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys and interviews involving 23 institutions, consisting of 19 government agencies and 4 private companies. The results show that ChatGPT is the most widely used AI tool (56%), followed by Gemini (34%) and QuillBot (14%). Most other tools showed low usage rates, with a high percentage falling under the “unknown” category, indicating limited information and awareness regarding AI technologies within PR environments. These findings have strategic implications in the context of crisis management, as the speed and accuracy of information dissemination are highly dependent on technological adaptability. The integration of AI tools into public communication systems can serve as both a preventive and responsive solution to reputational and operational crises. Therefore, policies are needed to enhance digital literacy and provide technical training on AI utilization for PR practitioners in both the public and private sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms of communication used by employees with Down Syndrome in customer service at Kopi Kamu Kebayoran, South Jakarta. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The findings show that the dominant form of communication used is verbal communication, especially spoken, aligned with the training method provided to help employees understand instructions, such as greeting customers and taking orders. Reading and writing were not included due to cognitive limitations. Nonverbal communication was shown through spontaneous smiling and hand gestures during interactions. Convergence appeared when customers adjusted their behavior to ease communication. Divergence occurred due to the employees' limited ability to respond in complex ways. Overaccommodation was observed through customers' empathy, such as speaking more slowly or using gestures. These behaviors created a friendlier and more open communication environment, where both parties could understand each other despite different abilities, reflecting respectful communication that allows everyone to participate.

Abstract

The rapid development of communication technology has made websites essential for providing accurate and accessible academic information. This study aims to determine the influence of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) website at Universitas Negeri Jakarta on students' academic information knowledge. Utilizing a quantitative approach and explanatory survey method, the study involved 92 students from the 2024 cohort selected through probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using statistical techniques. The findings indicate a strong relationship between website quality and academic information knowledge, with the dimension of information quality receiving the highest average score of 4.11. The correlation coefficient (r) was 0.754 with an R-squared value of 0.569, signifying that the website significantly contributes to students’ understanding of academic information. However, the interaction quality dimension received the lowest score, suggesting a need for better interactive features. These results underline the importance of improving website interactivity to enhance the overall student experience and academic support. The study concludes that a well-designed and informative website plays a crucial role in fulfilling students’ academic information needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Syifa Hadju sebagai brand ambassador terhadap brand image produk Glad2Glow di kalangan Generasi Z. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya penggunaan produk skincare di Indonesia dan strategi pemasaran dengan menggunakan figur publik. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatif melalui survei kuesioner terhadap 100 followers Instagram @Glad2Glow usia 15-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Syifa Hadju berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand image Glad2Glow. Dimensi Visibility, Credibility, Attraction, dan Power pada Syifa Hadju membentuk citra merek positif di benak konsumen, meningkatkan kepercayaan dan preferensi pembelian. Temuan ini menunjukkan pemilihan brand ambassador yang sesuai dapat menjadi strategi komunikasi pemasaran efektif di era digital. Praktisi PR dan pemasar kosmetik perlu mempertimbangkan penggunaan figur publik relevan untuk membangun brand image yang kuat. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of visual communication through the application of User Experience Design (UXD) principles on the virtual event website of Festival Sains dan Budaya. In the context of virtual events, effective visual communication plays a pivotal role in attracting user participation, conveying information clearly, and ensuring a positive user experience. The research employs a qualitative method, incorporating interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs) involving virtual event organizers, graphic designers, and website developers. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis to identify the implementation of UXD principles on the website festivalsainsbudaya.com/virtual-2024. The findings reveal four main categories of UXD implementation. First, Scale for Layout Setting, which includes minimalist header and footer design, centralized alignment, enlarged link access, and the use of wide whitespace to enhance readability. Second, Visual Hierarchy as Site Mapping/Intuitive, emphasizing a striking first impression and clear menu options presented at the start for intuitive navigation. Third, Balance & Contrast at the Same Time, achieved through contrasting button links, consistent design patterns, and the application of a global template to maintain brand coherence. Fourth, Media Interactive and Entertain Primarily, featuring feedback forms, varied media formats, high readability, motion elements, and easy navigation to increase user engagement. Overall, the virtual event website demonstrates strong adherence to UXD principles, resulting in intuitive navigation, a clear and logical information hierarchy, consistent visual design, and interactive media integration that enhances user engagement. These findings indicate that the application of UXD principles not only supports effective visual communication but also contributes significantly to user satisfaction and participation rates. This research underscores the importance of aligning UXD strategies with the goals of virtual cultural events, offering practical insights for future website development in the fields of culture, science, and public engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh endorsement label “Tasya Farasya Approve” terhadap minat beli produk Skintific Repair Moisturizer. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang merupakan pengikut akun Instagram @tasyafarasya. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa endorsement dari Tasya Farasya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen, dengan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,592. Artinya, sebesar 59,2% minat beli konsumen bisa dijelaskan oleh adanya endorsement Tasya Farasya, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Daya tarik menjadi faktor yang paling menonjol dalam membentuk ketertarikan audiens terhadap produk. Selain itu, minat beli yang paling kuat muncul dari keinginan konsumen untuk mencari tahu lebih lanjut tentang produk, menunjukkan bahwa endorsement Tasya Farasya mendorong perilaku eksploratif sebelum membeli. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa endorsement influencer dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat beli dimedia sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan strategis yang dilakukan oleh Admisi Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) dalam upaya meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru jalur seleksi mandiri (PENMABA) tahun 2025. Transformasi UNJ menjadi PTN Badan Hukum (PTN-BH) memberikan otonomi lebih luas dalam pengelolaan institusi, sehingga menuntut strategi yang adaptif dan inovatif dalam proses admisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengkaji fenomena perubahan kebijakan seleksi jalur prestasi, inovasi model ujian tulis mandiri, serta optimalisasi promosi dan sosialisasi baik secara daring maupun luring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan strategis Admisi UNJ meliputi analisis situasi, organisasi, dan publik, serta penerapan strategi komunikasi yang terintegrasi melalui berbagai kanal promosi. Inovasi kebijakan dan model seleksi, serta intensifikasi sosialisasi, terbukti meningkatkan antusiasme dan partisipasi calon mahasiswa, meskipun belum sepenuhnya memenuhi target peningkatan jumlah pendaftar.
