Abstract

Ensuring high-quality educational services is a growing challenge for State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia, particularly in efforts to harmonise Islamic educational values with international standards. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of ISO 21001:2018 implementation in improving service quality at State Islamic Religious Universities. The method used is a qualitative case study, with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were obtained from 25 purposively selected informants, consisting of quality assurance staff, lecturers, and students. The results show that ISO 21001:2018 significantly improves institutional accreditation through standardising quality management processes and strengthening human resources and infrastructure. The certification process increases stakeholder trust and strengthens academic quality assurance through regular evaluations and transparent audits. The integration of ISO 21001:2018 also encourages the creation of a participatory environment and continuous improvement in educational services. This study emphasises the importance of adapting international standards to local educational contexts and religious values. The ISO 21001:2018 structure can be a strategic model for quality governance in other Islamic universities.

Abstract

Kebijakan kompensasi guru di Indonesia masih diperdebatkan. Hal ini sangat penting karena kami percaya bahwa peran guru adalah membentuk kualitas sumber daya manusia dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Upaya untuk menaikkan gaji guru, bagaimanapun, tidak dapat dilakukan secara instan, tetapi harus dilakukan secara bertahap. Guru atau guru hendaknya meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam mengajar dan meningkatkan kualitasnya masing-masing. Penelitian ini divalidasi dan dievaluasi dengan survei literatur dan data dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal dan makalah akademis yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan. Yang kemudian dikaji lebih mendalam atau di analisis sehingga memprerleh data data yang yang diperoleh kajian. Dikajian, dikaji lebih mendalam atau analisis sehingga mereka memeroleh data yang akurat. Dengan demikian kesenjangan kompetisi seorang guru dapat dicapai dari seorang pengajar itu sendiri. melalui meningkatkan kemapuan atau meningkatkan kapasitas diri dari seorang pengajar itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of 21st-century skills (4C: critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration) with Islamic values in learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and library research method, the study reviews relevant national and international literature from 2020-2025 related to 4C development and Islamic education. Data were analyzed through content and thematic analysis to identify key concepts, strategies, and challenges in applying 4C within Islamic schools. The findings reveal that learning models such as STEM, Project-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and Quantum Learning effectively foster students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. However, the integration of Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ta’awun (cooperation), ijtihad (creative effort), and tafakkur (reflection) remains underexplored. This study proposes a new conceptual framework, the 4C-Islamic Integration Model, combining 21st-century competencies with Qur’an-based values to promote holistic and character-based learning. Theoretically, it enriches the discourse of progressive Islamic education, while practically it offers guidance for teachers and policymakers to design creative, collaborative, and value-oriented learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Extracurriculars are supporting activities carried out by students. Rohis (Rohani Islam) is an Islamic-based forum. Religious character is coaching in the character education of students. The religious activities carried out in Rohis activities can increase faith and devotion to God Almighty, and familiarize students with noble character and develop better attitudes, as well as increasing extensive religious knowledge. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research subject was taken using purposive techniques and data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model data analysis, which uses 3 stages in its implementation, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Validity of data using triangulation of methods and sources. The research results obtained are: 1) The activity of reciting the Koran can develop broad religious knowledge. 2) Dhuha prayer activities can develop discipline, revive religious breath, and be obedient to worship. 3) The activity of reading verses from the Holy Qur'an can provide positive energy, calm the soul and love peace, and create an environment of character that embodies Islam. 4) Pilgrimage activities include awareness of death and the next life in the afterlife, taking lessons from the story of one's life.

Abstract

This study explores human resource management (HRM) in developing teacher professionalism at MTs Plus Baitussalam Banyuwangi, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation. Using a qualitative case study, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed with Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Findings show that in the planning stage, school leaders conducted needs, job, and workload analysis, along with identifying teachers’ strengths and weaknesses to align with institutional goals. The implementation emphasized teacher recruitment based on pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, followed by development programs such as MGMP, workshops, and training. Evaluation was conducted through regular meetings, teacher performance appraisals, and feedback sessions to address weaknesses and foster innovation. The study concludes that systematic and continuous HRM effectively strengthens teacher professionalism, competitiveness, and commitment, thus contributing to improving the quality of Islamic education. Penelitian ini mengkaji manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam mengembangkan profesionalitas guru di MTs Plus Baitussalam Banyuwangi dengan fokus pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan, kepala madrasah melakukan analisis kebutuhan, jabatan, dan beban kerja serta memetakan kelebihan dan kelemahan guru untuk mendukung visi misi lembaga. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, rekrutmen guru berlandaskan empat kompetensi utama—pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian—serta dilengkapi program pengembangan seperti MGMP, workshop, dan pelatihan. Evaluasi dilaksanakan melalui rapat rutin, penilaian kinerja guru (PKG), dan forum masukan terbuka guna memperbaiki kekurangan sekaligus menumbuhkan inovasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen SDM yang terarah dan berkelanjutan mampu meningkatkan profesionalitas, daya saing, serta komitmen guru dalam mendukung mutu pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Ma'had Aly Darussalam Blokagung is one of the Ma'had Alys who is quite successful in managing the yellow book-based curriculum, this is proven by the many graduates who have become religious figures in society and have achieved many achievements. The Ma'had Aly Darussalam curriculum focuses on preserving Islamic boarding school traditions and innovating educational methodologies to produce quality scholars. The focus of this research is 1) How is the yellow book-based curriculum planned at Ma'had Aly Islamic Boarding School Darussalam, 2) How is the yellow book-based curriculum implemented at Ma'had Aly Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, 3) How is the yellow book-based curriculum evaluated in Ma'had Aly Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. The objectives to be achieved by the researcher are 1) Describe the planning of the yellow book-based curriculum at Ma'had Aly Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, 2) Describe the implementation of the yellow book-based curriculum at Ma'had Aly Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, 3) Describe the evaluation of the yellow book-based curriculum in Ma'had Aly Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed using analytical techniques which include data collection, data condensation, data presentation, conclusion verification, then the validity of the data is tested using data source triangulation techniques, method triangulation, theory triangulation, discussions with colleagues and holding member checks. The conclusions of this research are 1). Yellow book-based curriculum planning at Ma'had Aly Darussalam includes planning the vision, mission and goals, curriculum content, teaching materials or learning resources, learning methods and models, and evaluation. 2). The implementation of the curriculum at Ma'had Aly Darussalam includes the implementation of learning content, learning methods and models. 3). Curriculum evaluation at Ma'had Aly Darusslam consists of monthly and annual evaluations which include several points; learning evaluation, mahasantri evaluation, evaluation of the selection of new mahasantri, evaluation of improving the quality of Sufism and tarekat learning models, and evaluation of services and human resources.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu inovasi kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan di MA Nurul Qornain Sukowono Jember dan MA Al-Fauzan Labruk Lumajang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan studi multisitus, terkait dengan suatu gejala atau kejadian yang sedang berlangsung di lembaga pesantren disebut dengan (ex post facto). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: pertama, dalam mendesain kurikulum keterampilan tersebut kedua lembaga memulai dengan analisis lingkungan (Analisis SWOT), menganalisis karakteristik madrasah. Hasil analisis karakteristik akan menjadi landasan dalam proses perumusan seluruh kebijakan di madrasah. Cara untuk mengumpulkan informasi dalam melakukan analisis madrasah yaitu: kuesioner, wawancara, FGD, dan observasi. Dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menggunakan perbandingan 30% teori dan 70% praktek. Kedua, keterampilan di MA Pesantren Terpadu Al-Fauzan Lumajang ada 4 program keterampilan yakni: Tata Busana, Teknik Pengelasan, Tata Boga, dan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif. Pelaksanaan keterampilan masuk pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Sedangkan, di MA Plus Keterampilan Nurul Qornain Sukowono keterampilan dibagi menjadi dua jenis, yakni termasuk kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ada yang ekstrakurikuler. Keterampilan yang termasuk intrakurikuler meliputi: (1) Tata Busana; (2) Teknik Otomotif; (3) Teknik Elektronika Industri; (4) Tata Boga; dan (5) Tata Rias. Dan yang termasuk ekstrakurikuler berupa: (1) Pertanian; (2) Peternakan; dan (3) Perkebunan. Ketiga, evaluasi kurikulum keterampilan di MA Pesantren Terpadu Al-Fauzan Lumajang dan MA Plus Keterampilan Nurul Qornain Sukowono dilakukan secara internal dan eksternal. This research aims to describe the innovation of the skills education curriculum at MA Nurul Qornain Sukowono Jember and MA Al-Fauzan Labruk Lumajang. This type of research uses a multisite study, related to a symptom or event that is currently taking place in an Islamic boarding school (i.e. ex post facto). The results of this research are: first, the two institutions designed a skills curriculum starting with an environmental analysis (SWOT analysis) and analyzing the characteristics of the madrasah. The results of the characteristic analysis will become the basis for formulating all policies in madrasas. Collecting information in madrasa analysis uses questionnaires, interviews, FGDs, and observations. In learning skills, a ratio of 30% theory and 70% practice is used. Second, skills at the Al-Fauzan Lumajang Integrated Islamic Boarding School, there are 4 skills programs, namely: Fashion Design, Welding Engineering, Catering, and Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering—implementation of entry skills in extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, at MA Plus Skills Nurul Qornain Sukowono skills are divided into two types, namely intracurricular activities and some extracurricular activities. Skills included in extracurricular activities include (1) Fashion Management; (2) Automotive Engineering; (3) Industrial Electronics Engineering; (4) Culinary Management; and (5) Cosmetology. Extracurriculars include: (1) Agriculture; (2) Livestock; and (3) Plantations. Third, the evaluation of the skills curriculum at the Al-Fauzan Lumajang Integrated Islamic Boarding School and the Nurul Qornain Sukowono Skills Plus MA is carried out internally and externally.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of the hidden curriculum in fostering a moderate character among students at Al-Ilahiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Ngoro, Jombang. Utilizing a qualitative case study design, the research involves Kiai, Ustadz, and students as participants. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that: (1) there are five critical components of the hidden curriculum at the boarding school that contribute to developing students' moderate character, namely congregational prayers, religious book study sessions, public speaking, discussions, student life, and daily social interactions; (2) these components embody core values of moderation such as balance, openness, tolerance, non-imposition of opinions, and harmonious coexistence in diversity; (3) through the processes of habituation and internalization of these values, students' characters increasingly reflect moderate qualities. Consequently, the hidden curriculum significantly contributes to enhancing the moderate character of students at the studied location, as demonstrated by the diversity that allows the boarding school community to coexist peacefully.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini berkembang dengan sangat cepat, oleh karena itu, dalam dunia pendidikan, harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang telah berkembang. Media daily vlog ini merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menghadapi kemajuan teknologi dan informasi saat ini. Masalah yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana desain, pemanfaatan, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi media daily vlog. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan desain, pemanfaatan, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi media daily vlog. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, presentasi data, dan kesimpulan. Triangulasi data digunakan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan data melalui sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini: (1) desain yang digunakan oleh guru PAI di SMPN 02 Jatiroto tidak meninggalkan 3 elemen yaitu: cognitive load, student engagement, dan active learning together; (2) Pemanfaatan media vlog tidak terlepas dari perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa; (3) Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi media vlog adalah guru, siswa, fasilitas dan infrastruktur, jaringan internet, komputer, dan ponsel.

Abstract

Ruang lingkup operasional administrasi sekolah meliputi manajemen siswa. Hal ini mencakup pengawasan dan koordinasi semua upaya yang berhubungan dengan sekolah. Manajemen siswa lebih dari sekadar mengawasi kegiatan sehari-hari siswa; manajemen siswa juga berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan siswa dalam lingkungan pendidikan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk analisisnya. Subjek diidentifikasi dengan metode yang disengaja. Strategi pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Milles dan Huberman untuk analisis data memerlukan tiga tahap - reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Triangulasi sumber dan metode digunakan untuk menguji keandalan data yang dikumpulkan.
