Abstract

Teacher performance is a crucial determinant of educational quality, as it directly influences the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. This study examines the effects of transactional leadership, work discipline, and job satisfaction on the performance of elementary school teachers in Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang City. Employing a quantitative research design, the study involved a representative sample of teachers selected through proportional sampling techniques. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods to determine both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on teacher performance. The findings indicate that transactional leadership has a significant positive influence on teacher performance by clarifying expectations, reinforcing accountability, and providing contingent rewards. Work discipline also demonstrates a strong positive effect, reflecting the importance of compliance with rules, time management, and professional responsibility in sustaining optimal performance. In addition, job satisfaction contributes positively by enhancing teachers’ motivation, commitment, and engagement in their professional roles. Simultaneously, transactional leadership, work discipline, and job satisfaction collectively exert a significant influence on teacher performance. These results suggest that improving teacher performance requires an integrated approach that combines effective leadership practices, disciplined work behavior, and supportive organizational conditions that foster job satisfaction. The study provides practical implications for school leaders and policymakers in designing strategies to enhance teacher performance and overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of teacher performance based on principals' leadership, organizational communication, and teachers' work motivation in public elementary schools in Dramaga District. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consisted of 328 teachers, with a sample of 180 teachers. The results showed that principals' leadership had a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance (r = 0.616; R² = 0.379; p = 0.004). Organizational communication also had a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance (r = 0.456; R² = 0.208; p = 0.036). Teachers' work motivation demonstrated a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance and emerged as the most dominant variable (r = 0.634; R² = 0.402; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, principals' leadership, organizational communication, and teachers' work motivation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (F = 8.203; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.423, indicating that the three variables jointly explained 42.3% of the variance in teacher performance. These findings suggest that strengthening teachers' work motivation, enhancing principals' leadership, and improving organizational communication are essential factors in improving teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, competence, and work discipline partially and simultaneously on the performance of the management of Community Reading Parks (TBM) in South Tangerang City. The research approach used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study were all managers of Community Reading Parks (TBM) in South Tangerang City with a sample of 144 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale instrument that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis includes classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software version 27. The results of the study indicate that partially, there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on management performance with a very strong correlation value of 0.933 and a t-count value of 30.873. Competence is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on management performance with a strong correlation coefficient of 0.899 and a t-count value of 24.409. Likewise, work discipline has a positive and significant influence on management performance with a strong correlation value of 0.894 and a t-count value of 23.837. Simultaneously, these variables contribute a very strong influence on management performance through a multiple regression equation model Y = 10.306 + 0.496X1 - 0.195X2 + 0.258X3. Testing the coefficient of determination (r2) shows that the contribution of motivation, competence, and work discipline together is 93.6% on TBM management performance, while the remaining 6.4% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables. This indicates that effective improvements in TBM management performance can be achieved through strengthening work motivation, developing literacy competencies, and enforcing work discipline among managers on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Visionary Leadership, Teacher Competence, and Learning Innovation on Education Quality, both partially and simultaneously, in private high school teachers in Tangerang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 115 selected respondents using sampling techniques, then analyzed using analytical prerequisite tests (normality, homogeneity, and linearity) as well as simple and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that Visionary Leadership had a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Education (?yx1 = 0.703; count 9.761 > table 1.981), Teacher Competence had a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Education (?yx2 = 0.162; count 2.008 > table 1.981), and Learning Innovation had a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Education (?yx3 = 0.035; count 1.987 > table 1.981). Simultaneously, these three variables also have a significant effect on the Quality of Education with a Fcal value of 89.794 at a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, forming a regression equation Y = 0.703X1 + 0.162X2 + 0.035X3. Visionary Leadership proved to be the most dominant variable that affects the Quality of Education compared to the other two variables. These findings confirm that improving the quality of education in private high schools will be more effective if it is focused on strengthening the visionary leadership of school principals, without neglecting teacher competency improvement and continuous learning innovation.

The study aims to determine the relationship of organizational culture, principal leadership, and teacher performance with the improvement of educational quality both individually and simultaneously in public elementary schools within the Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. A quantitative approach utilizing a correlational survey method was employed. The study population consisted of 142 teachers, with a sample of 105 teachers determined using Slovin's formula. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including tests for normality, homogeneity, Pearson correlation, and multiple correlation. The results indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant relationship with educational quality (r = 0.661; p < 0.05), principal leadership has a positive and significant relationship with educational quality (r = 0.596; p < 0.05), and teacher performance has a positive and significant relationship with educational quality (r = 0.705; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, organizational culture, principal leadership, and teacher performance exhibit a positive and significant relationship with educational quality, with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.754 and a coefficient of determination of 0.555. These findings demonstrate that improving educational quality requires synergy among a strong organizational culture, effective principal leadership, and professional teacher performance.
