Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of Pappasang ponggawa, reveal the meaning of Pappasang ponggawa and reveal the moral values contained in Pappasang ponggawa in fishing communities. This research is a qualitative study, using a qualitative descriptive design, which focuses on the form, meaning, and value of Pappasang ponggawa, obtained from ponggawa in South Galesong District through observation, interviews, and recording. The research instruments consisted of researchers, recorders, notebooks, and interview guidelines. The results revealed that the form of Pappasang ponggawa in the fishing community in South Galesong District, Takalar Regency, is a form of dialogue, pamali, and doangang which contains lexical, contextual, and connotative meanings. The moral values in the Pappasang are individual, social, and religious moral values

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengkaji keefektifan model koperatif tipe NHT dalam pembelajaran menentukan unsur intrinsik cerpen; (2) mengkaji keefektifan model koperatif tipe jigsaw dalam pembelajaran menentukan unsur intrinsik cerpen; dan (3) membuktikan keefektifan model kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dalam pembelajaran menentukan unsur intrinsik cerpen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Mamuju, berjumlah 324 peserta didik yang terdiri dari sebelas kelas. Dari kesebelas kelas, ditentukanlah sampel dengan teknik pengundian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 54 orang yang terdiri dari kelas IX 3 dan kelas IX 4. Setelah menentukan sampel, kemudian data tersebut dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes yaitu dengan mengukur pemahaman siswa mengenai unsur intrinsik cerpen. Variabel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini yaitu model kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT), model kooperatif jigsaw, dan kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil: (1) Model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Mamuju. Hal itu terbukti dari nilai pretes 69,41 menjadi 78,40 pada nilai postest; (2) Model pembelajaran jigsaw dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Mamuju. Hal tersebut terbukti dari nilai pretest 60,48 menjadi 77,25 pada nilai postest; dan (3) Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis Sig. (2-tailed) menunjukkan nilai yang sama pada kedua model pembelajaran sebesar 0,659. Hal ini menujukkan kedua model pembelajaran efektif digunakan. Akan tetapi, berbeda dengan perolehan nilai thitung yakni 0,444. Nilai thitung 0,444 ≤ dari nilai Ttabel 2,055, oleh karena itu, hipotesis (H0) diterima dan (H1) ditolak sehingga model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe HNT lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dalam menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Mamuju.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the ability to write description text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 27 Makassar.  In this classroom action research, the data collected include teacher activity observation, description writing test and field notes. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques were carried out in each learning cycle, so that the results of the analysis could be concluded to determine the action plan to be implemented in the next cycle.  The results showed that the implementation of learning had improved. Students' learning outcomes in writing descriptions using quartet card media in cycle I were only 56.25% who reached the completion grade. In the next cycle, 84.37% of students reached the completion score. The obstacles that arose in learning in Cycle I included the teacher's voice was not loud enough, the teacher did not master the class, students fought over the quartet cards, and the explanation of the material delivered by the teacher was not clear. While in Cycle II no significant obstacles were found. For this reason, quartet card media is suitable for use in writing descriptions, because it is proven to improve learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the writing skills of procedure text through peer tutoring method in class IX students of SMPN 27 Makassar. The research method used was Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 36 students, consisting of 16 male students and 20 female students. The instruments used included interviews, observation sheets and writing skill test sheets. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that despite the improvement in cycle I, some students were still in the good category with an average score of 63% to 71%. After reflection and improvement in cycle II, students' scores increased to 90% to 93% in the excellent category. The results indicated a significant improvement from cycle I to cycle II. The improvement of learning strategies in cycle II contributed to the increase in the number of students who reached the excellent category. It can be concluded that the peer tutoring method is effective in improving the writing skills of procedure texts in grade IX students of SMPN 27 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Value of Heroism in The Novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori which aims to describe the value of heroism found in the novel. The method used is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection techniques were carried out using reading and note-taking techniques. Apart from that, the analysis stage is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research instrument is a human instrument with checking the validity of the data using theoretical triangulation. The result of the research show that there are five values of heroisme found namely willingness to sacrifice, unity, mutual respect, and enthusiasm and never giving up. In conclusion, this novel has positive values that are useful as learning media or just reading.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the forms, meanings, and functions of metaphors in the poetry collection 'Before Alone' by M. Aan Mansyur. The data in this study are written texts in the poetry collection 'Before Alone' by M. Aan Mansyur, in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The data source in this study is the poetry collection 'Before Alone' by M. Aan Mansyur, second edition: 2021, published by JBS Publisher, with 79 pages. The data collection technique in this study uses reading and note-taking techniques. The research is based on 30 analyzed data according to the objectives of this study, namely form, meaning, and function. This study yielded 11 data of anthropomorphic figure metaphors, 6 data of abstract to concrete metaphorical forms, and 13 data of synesthetic metaphorical forms found based on Parera's theory. The meaning of metaphorical figures in this study shows various perspectives. Through the analysis of Lakoff and Johnson's theory on metaphor, the research reveals the complexity of emotions, internal conflicts, and spiritual journeys of humans through the use of metaphorical language. Meanwhile, the functions of metaphorical figures in the poetry collection "Sebelum Sendiri" encompass the main functions of metaphors identified and analyzed based on Roman Jakobson's theory, namely the aesthetic function, where metaphors are used to create beautiful imagery and provide an aesthetic dimension to language, as well as the emotive function, where metaphors are used to convey emotional atmosphere in poetry.

Abstract

This research aims to describe prefix, suffix, simulfix and confix errors in students' description essays. This research method uses qualitative research method. The data source in this research is students' description essays. The research instrument used is the researcher who uses data cards. The data analysis technique in this study is that the researcher reads, observes, and marks the data in the students' description essays that have been collected. While the data collection techniques are documentation and observation. Based on the results of analysis and discussion in the description essays of students of class VII.11 SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, prefix errors were found as much as 20 data, suffix errors were found as much as 3 data, simulfix errors were found 1 data, and confix errors were found as much as 3 data

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai eksperensial, nilai relasional dan nilai ekspresif pada kosakata dan gramatika yang terdapat dalam teks sastra pada buku pelajaran bahasa Indonesia Fase D Kurikulum Merdeka. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengamati dan menganalisis ideologi yang terkadung dalam teks sastra sesuai analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat dan paragraf pada teks sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teks sastra yang terdapat dalam buku pelajaran bahasa Indonesia Fase D Kurikulum Merdeka. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, teknik baca, dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan pada fitur kosakata nilai eksperensial yaitu antonim; nilai relasional yaitu kata informal; dan nilai ekspresif yaitu penilaian positif. Pada fitur gramatika nilai eksperensial yaitu kalimat pasif; nilai relasional yaitu kalimat perintah; dan nilai ekspresif yaitu modalitas ekspresif. Setiap data yang ditemukan mengandung ideologi dan kekuasaan yang sejalan dengan pembentukan karakter peserta didik sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks puisi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Magic Write dan media Animasi Powtoon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan pra eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Gowa yang berjumlah 324 siswa, dan sampel yang terpilih adalah siswa Kelas X.1 dan Kelas X.2 yang jumlahnya masing-masing 36 orang siswa. Data dari penelitian ini berupa nilai perolehan siswa dari hasil pretest dan postest. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan melalui observasi awal, pretest, perlakuan dan postest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data yaitu analisis statistic deskriptif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas X.1 sebelum diberi perlakuan berupa penggunaan media Magic Write dalam proses pembelajaran berkategori tidak terampil dengan nilai rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 53,44. Keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa Kelas X.2 sebelum diberi perlakuan berupa penggunaan media Animasi Powtoon dalam proses pembelajaran berkategori tidak terampil dengan nilai rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 55,00. Keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa Kelas X.1 sesudah diberi perlakuan berupa penggunaan media Magic Write dalam proses pembelajaran berkategori terampil dengan nilai rata-rata hasil postest yakni sebesar 80,08. Keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa Kelas X.2 sesudah diberi perlakuan berupa penggunaan media Animasi Powtoon dalam proses pembelajaran berkategori terampil dengan nilai rata-rata hasil postest sebesar 69,55. Setelah merumuskan data hasil Pretest dan Postest dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 26 (International Business Machines Statistical Package for The Social Sciencess 26) uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa untuk keterampilan menulis teks puisi menggunakan media Magic Write diperoleh t hitung = 19,916 > t tabel = 1,689 sementara itu untuk keterampilan menulis teks puisi menggunakan media Animasi Powtoon diperoleh t hitung = 13,592 > t tabel = 1,689. Hal ini berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu, kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media Magic Write dan media Animasi Powtoon berpegaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks puisi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Gowa.

Abstract

Analysis Of Critical Thinking Aspects In Indonesian Text Book Class VIII Junior High School. This study aims to: (1) describe the form of analysis in the aspect of critical thinking in Indonesian junior high school textbooks for class VIII (2) describe the form of evaluation in the aspect of critical thinking in Indonesian language textbooks for SMP class VIII (3) describe the form of creation in the aspect of thinking critically on Indonesian textbooks for SMP class VIII. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of the study reveal the form of analysis, evaluation, and creation. The form of the analysis consists of three, but there are only two parts, differences and organization, there is no attribution. There is also no coherence activity in the organization. Then in the form of evaluation consists of two, check and critique. However, in the inspection there is still no activity in coordinating. Furthermore, the creation consists of three, but there are only two parts, namely the plan and production, there is no formulation.
