Abstract

Computer-based Mathematics Learning (CBML) has become global in the last decade, providing opportunities for more significant interaction between schools and their environment. Although CBML has been widely applied, few studies highlight its growth trajectory, especially high-quality studies and those in the Scopus document. This study identifies CBML-related research that can provide a global perspective on learning and the development of the further investigation. Therefore, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to identify 651 journal articles between 2010 and 2023 using the Scopus database. Data search uses the publish or perish application, and the VOS viewer program assists in analyzing theme linkages. This research addresses two issues: (i) reviewing the growth trajectory of CBML-related studies; and (ii) mapping between themes to identify gaps and the most important topics. The analysis results show that the study's trajectory appears fluid and is mediated by the impact of social restrictions due to Covid-19. The main topics and research gaps are discussed. Several implications are presented as helpful information for scientists and stakeholders.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan media berbasis teknologi tinggi seperti Augmented Reality (AR) telah menjadi tren global akhir-akhir ini karena perannya yang dapat memperjelas konsep dan membantu menghadirkan obyek secara nyata. Namun faktanya pengetahuan dan minat para guru yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) matematika kecamatan Langke Rembong masih rendah dalam menggunakan media berbasis teknologi tinggi. Sehubungan dengan itu maka PKM ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi para guru untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan dalam mengembangkan media digital berbasis teknologi imersif agumented reality. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui workshop selama 2 hari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality. Mitra penelitian adalah MGMP matematika yang tergabung dalam komunitas Fibonaci. Persepsi para guru diukur dengan menyebarkan angket sebelum dan setelah kegiatan PKM. Dari hasil analisis respon para guru Tingkat pemahaman para guru di atas 94%. Para guru juga menyadari bahwa teknologi membantu mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan mampu meningkatkan meningkatkan kemampuan asbtraksi, representasi, visual, dan spasial siswa (>94%). Selanjutnya para guru berpendapat bahwa potensi penggunaan teknologi kedepannya sangat besar. Hal ini karena penggunaannya yang makin mudah dan manfaatnya yang besar. Namun dukungan dari pemerintah untuk sarpras penunjang teknologi, dan kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan tinggi sangat diperlukan agar penerapan media berbasis teknologi tinggi menjadi realistis.Abstract: The use of high technology-based media such as Augmented Reality (AR) has become a global trend lately because of its role that can clarify concepts and help present objects in real life. However, the fact is that the knowledge and interest of teachers who are members of the Langke Rembong sub-district mathematics subject teachers' meeting (MGMP) are still low in using high technology-based media. In connection with that, this PKM aims to assist teachers to improve their understanding and skills in developing digital media based on immersive agumented reality technology. The method used is through a 2-day workshop on developing augmented reality-based learning tools. The research partner is MGMP mathematics who are members of the Fibonaci community. Teachers' perceptions were measured by distributing questionnaires before and after the PKM activities. From the analysis of the teachers' responses, the level of understanding of the teachers was above 94%. The teachers also realized that technology helped them in learning, and was able to improve students' abstraction, representation, visual, and spatial abilities (>94%). Furthermore, the teachers were of the opinion that the potential for using technology in the future is huge. This is because its use is getting easier and the benefits are great. However, support from the government for technology-supporting infrastructure, and cooperation with higher education institutions are needed so that the application of high-tech-based media becomes realistic.

Abstract

Keadaan literatur yang berkembang saat ini menyajikan bahwa proses pembelajaran berkualitas tinggi didasarkan pada model pembelajaran mendalam (Deep Learning Model/DLM). Meskipun DLM telah diterapkan secara luas, hanya sedikit penelitian yang menyoroti evolusi atau lintasan pertumbuhan, tren, dan juga arah penelitian di masa depan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi penelitian tentang DLM yang dapat memberikan perspektif global tentang pengembangan dan penyelidikan lebih lanjut. Tujuan tersebut dicapai dengan menganalisis 308 artikel jurnal dan prosiding dari tahun 2013 hingga 2025 menggunakan basis data Google Scholar dan Scopus. Pencarian data menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish (POP), dan program penampil VOS membantu dalam menganalisis hubungan antar tema. Penelitian ini membahas dua masalah: (i) meninjau lintasan pertumbuhan studi terkait DLM; dan (ii) menentukan pemetaan antartema untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dan topik yang paling penting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lintasan studi tampak cair dan dimediasi oleh dampak pembatasan sosial karena Covid-19. Topik utama dan kesenjangan penelitian dibahas. Beberapa implikasi disajikan sebagai informasi yang bermanfaat bagi para ilmuwan dan pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Immersive technology with augmented reality (AR) as a didactic support has gone global and enriched the learning process with various packages of advantages. Although there have been many meta-analyses to test the aggregate effect of AR on students' academic performance, few have considered the duration of treatment as a moderator variable and also the comparison of the effect of AR in mathematics learning with other subjects. This study was conducted to. This random effect meta-analysis study was conducted to test the effectiveness of the application of immersive AR technology in learning by considering the duration of treatment and subject matter as research features and specifically identifying data from the Scopus database. This objective was achieved by examining 73 independent comparisons (n = 2822) that met the requirements and were identified from the Scopus database. The results of the CMA software-assisted analysis showed that the integration of immersive augmented reality technology in learning had a moderate effect (g = 0.75, p < 0.005) compared to learning conditions without AR. These results also add empirical validity to the relationship between categorical variables and the size of the research effect, as needed to understand research in the context of the application of AR in mathematics learning in the future. By clarifying the impact of AR implementation in mathematics learning, this study contributes to teachers to improve teaching effectiveness, enrich interactive learning media, and arouse students' interest and understanding of mathematical concepts in a more concrete and visual way. These findings also provide new directions for teachers, lecturers, stakeholders, and professionals in their efforts to develop a didactic framework by considering the duration of treatment in future AR applications.

Abstract

Literatur saat ini telah menyoroti tantangan dan peluang untuk pengembangan profesi guru di Indonesia. Namun studi yang secara khusus mengevaluasi pengembangan profesi guru matematika masih sedikit. Terkait hal tersebut, penelitian survei ini dilakukan untuk menjelajahi kendala yang dihadapi para guru matematika setelah mengikuti pendidikan profesi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 195 guru matematika yang tersebar di tujuh kabupaten. Instrumen penelitian adalah tautan kuesioner berupa googleform yang disebarkan menggunakan grup WhatsApp. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru menghadapi tantangan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, mengalami keterbatasan waktu karena jadwal mereka yang padat. Akses terbatas terhadap materi pengajaran, teknologi, dan sumber daya pengembangan profesional terkini dalam memberikan layanan terbaik. Evolusi paradigma pendidikan, perubahan kurikulum, dan pergeseran pedagogis yang cepat dapat menjadi tantangan bagi guru yang sedang bertugas untuk mengimbanginya, yang membutuhkan pengembangan profesional dan kemampuan beradaptasi yang berkelanjutan. Current literature has highlighted the challenges and opportunities for teacher professional development in Indonesia. However, studies that specifically evaluate mathematics teacher professional development are still few. In this regard, this survey study explored the obstacles mathematics teachers face after undergoing professional education. This study involved 195 mathematics teachers spread across seven districts. The research instrument was a questionnaire link in a Google Form distributed using a WhatsApp group. The results of this study indicate that teachers face challenges in lesson planning, experiencing time constraints due to their busy schedules. Limited access to the latest teaching materials, technology, and professional development resources hinders providing the best service. The rapid evolution of educational paradigms, curriculum changes, and pedagogical shifts can be challenging for in-service teachers to keep up with, which requires continuous professional development and adaptability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan penelitian terkait penerapan cooperative learning berbasis ICT dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Data penelitian diambil dari berbagai database ilmiah yang memuat artikel terkait topik ini. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi dan jurnal yang paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bibliometrik yang mengkaji dan menganalisis 59 artikel dari basis data Google Scholar dari tahun 2013 hingga 2023. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP) dan analisis data menggunakan aplikasi VOSviewer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penelitian mengenai cooperative learning berbasis ICT dalam pembelajaran matematika mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam satu dekade terakhir. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan beberapa kesenjangan dalam literatur yang dapat dijadikan peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Abstrak: Evaluasi dampak pelaksanaan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) diantaranya adalah mendorong adanya kolaborasi antara dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru pamong misalnya dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian secara bersama-sama. Sehubungan dengan itu maka pendampingan dan pelatihan berkelanjutan serta dukungan yang sistematis perlu dilakukan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan bagi para guru di Kota Ruteng NTT dalam menyusun dan menulis artikel PTK. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui workshop secara luring di Aula Spring Hill Ruteng. Pendekatan ini membantu guru menyusun artikel ilmiah berkualitas dari hasil PTK yang mereka lakukan, sekaligus memberikan wawasan tentang proses publikasi di jurnal ilmiah nasional ber-ISSN dan terakreditasi sinta. Pemahaman para guru sebelum dan setelah kegiatan diidentifikasi menggunakan googleforms. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini meningkatkan hingga 85% pemahaman para guru dalam menulis artikel PTK. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah draf artikel PTK yang siap untuk dikirim ke jurnal nasional. Pelatihan ini bukan hanya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis, tetapi juga menjadi sarana refleksi bagi guru atas praktik pengajaran mereka, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi siswa. Dukungan dari pemerintah daerah dan kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan tinggi sangat diperlukan agar pelatihan ini dapat berlangsung secara berkelanjutan.Abstract: Evaluation of the impact of implementing Teacher Professional Education (PPG) includes encouraging collaboration between lecturers, students, and mentor teachers, for example, in carrying out research and community service activities together. However, teachers face several challenges, including prospective PPG mentor teachers related to limited knowledge of research methodology, difficulties in compiling Classroom Action Research (PTK) reports that can be published, and minimal access to accredited journals. In addition, infrastructure problems and lack of intensive assistance exacerbate the situation. In this regard, ongoing assistance, training, and systematic support need to be carried out. This community service activity aims to provide help and training for teachers in Ruteng City, NTT, in compiling and writing PTK articles. The method of implementing the activity is carried out through an offline workshop at the Spring Hill Ruteng Hall. This approach helps teachers compile quality scientific articles from the results of the PTK they do while also providing insight into the publication process in national scientific journals with ISSN and accredited by Sinta. Overall, this training improves teachers' understanding of writing PTK articles. The output is a draft of a PTK article that is ready to be sent to a national journal. This training not only improves writing skills but also becomes a means of reflection for teachers on their teaching practices so that it can improve the quality of learning and student achievement. Support from local governments and cooperation with higher education institutions are needed so that this training can take place sustainably.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penelitian tentang intervensi Metaphorical Thinking (MT) dalam pendidikan matematika semakin mendapat perhatian. Namun, penelitian terbatas telah meneliti bagaimana intervensi MT, ketika diintegrasikan dengan model pembelajaran yang menantang, dapat meningkatkan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis (MRA) siswa. Untuk mengatasi kesenjangan ini, penelitian kuasi-eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol posttest-only dilakukan terhadap 50 siswa di SMP Widya Bhakti Ruteng, NTT, Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intervensi MT dalam lingkungan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) terhadap MRA. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes PMA yang terdiri dari lima soal, dan hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan uji t setelah melakukan analisis prasyarat. Temuannya menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menerima intervensi MT dikombinasikan dengan PBL menunjukkan MRA yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mereka yang tidak menerima intervensi MT. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi potensi manfaat dari mengintegrasikan intervensi MT dengan pendekatan pedagogi menantang lainnya. In recent years, research on Metaphorical Thinking (MT) interventions in mathematics education has gained increasing attention. However, limited studies have examined how MT interventions, when integrated with challenging instructional models, can enhance students' Mathematical Reasoning Ability (MRA). To address this gap, a quasi-experimental study utilizing a posttest-only control group design was conducted with 50 students at SMP Widya Bhakti Ruteng, NTT, Indonesia. The study aimed to analyze the effects of MT interventions in a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) environment on MRA. Data were collected through a PMA test consisting of five questions, and the results were analyzed using a t-test after performing a prerequisite analysis. The findings revealed that students who received MT interventions combined with PBL demonstrated significantly higher MRA compared to those who did not receive MT interventions. These results underscore the potential benefits of integrating MT interventions with other challenging pedagogical approaches.

Abstract

Numerous similar studies have been conducted to evaluate the effect of problem-based learning models (PBL) on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. However, the findings from these studies are inconsistent. Highlighting this gap, this study comprehensively evaluates the effectiveness of implementing the PBL model on junior high school students’ critical thinking skills. This meta-analysis study was conducted by analyzing a sample of 15 journal papers that met the feasibility. Empirical data collection uses several journal search engines, and the instruments used are coding categories. Data analysis to obtain effect size value was performed with Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software, and the estimation method used a random-effect model. Overall, the results showed that the effect size of PBL model implementation on mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students is 0.970, which means the PBL model's implementation had a high effect on students' critical thinking skills. Besides, the effect size of implementing the PBL model on junior high school students' critical thinking skills did not differ based on differences in class, year of study, and sample size. However, there were significant differences in effect sizes between study groups based on treatment duration. Thus, PBL will achieve a higher level of effectiveness, taking into account the treatment duration.

Abstract

Tren penggunaan sumber daya pendidikan digital dengan augmented reality sebagai alat didaktik telah memperkaya proses pembelajaran dengan berbagai paket keunggulan. Studi sebelumnya telah mengekplorasi pengaruh agregat dari penggunaan augemented reality dalam pendidikan, namun masih sedikit yang menganalisis  subject matters sebagai variabel kategori. Untuk itu penelitian yang menggunakan metode meta-analisis efek acak ini dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan teknologi immersive augmented reality pada pembelajaran dengan subject matters sebagai variabel kategori. Tujuan ini dicapai dengan memeriksa 51 perbandingan independen (n  = 3,869) yang memenuhi syarat dan diidentifikasi dari basis data online. Hasil analisis yang dibantu oleh software CMA menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi immersive augmented reality dalam pembelajaran dikaitkan dengan pengaruh positif dan sedang ( g  = 0,41, p < 0,001) dibandingkan dengan kondisi pembelajaran lainnya. Dampak ini konsisten dan kuat dalam berbagai subject matters. Hasil ini mendukung pengembangan kerangka didaktis untuk implementasi immersive augmented reality di masa depan.
