Abstract

Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder that affects around 1% of the world's population. Some patients with schizophrenia experience psychiatric emergencies that require prompt and appropriate intervention to reduce the risk of complications and promote a good outcome. This systematic literature review aims to describe of emergency psychiatric interventions in schizophrenia. The results of the review show that appropriate and prompt intervention are very important in reducing the risk of complications and improving good outcomes in schizophrenic patients who experience psychiatric emergencies. Some effective interventions include administering antipsychotic drugs, inhaled loxapine and providing non-pharmacological interventions, namely verbal de-escalation. However, more research is needed to clarify the benefits and effectiveness of each of these interventions. Suggestions that can be given are increasing public awareness about the symptoms of schizophrenia and what to do in an emergency situation, special training for medical personnel and emergency workers, as well as further research on emergency psychiatric interventions in schizophrenia.

Abstract

Islamization of science is a movement to integrate Islamic values and principles into various disciplines, aiming to create knowledge that is in accordance with Islamic ethics and morality. In the context of globalization and rapid modernization, challenges to the application of science based on Islamic teachings are increasing. This research explores the relationship between worldview, paradigm, and theory in the process of Islamization of science. Using qualitative and descriptive research methods with note-taking techniques, analysis of literature and thoughts from key figures such as Imre Lakatos and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, this article focuses on how Islamic values can be integrated in the development of scientific theories and methodologies. The results show that the Islamization of science involves not only changing the content of science, but also the approach used in research. In addition, resistance from secular thought is a major challenge in the implementation of Islamization. This study concludes that the Islamization of science can produce knowledge that is not only academically useful, but also supports moral and ethical commitments, which are important for creating a generation of Muslim scientists with integrity.

Abstract

Tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan tanaman hortikultura semusim dan dapat dibudidayakan baik di dataran rendah maupun tinggi, yang dapat ditanam sepanjang tahun baik pada musim penghujan maupun kemarau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemeberian pupuk kandang kambing terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini di laksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2022 bertempat di kebun akademik Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tadulako Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), 1 faktor perlakuan yang tediri atas 5 taraf yaitu tanpa pupuk kandang kambing, pemberian pupuk kandang kambing (5 ton ha-1), pemberian pupuk kandang kambing (10 ton ha-1), pemberian pupuk kandang kambing (15 ton ha-1) dan pemberian pupuk kandang kambing (20 ton ha-1). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang 4 kali sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 2 polybag, dengan demikian total yang digunakan sebanyak 40 polybag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kandang kambing dan tanpa pupuk kandang kambing memberikan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman. Tetapi pemberian pupuk kandang kambing 5 ton ha-1 telah nyata dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi desain poster komunikasi verbal de-eskalasi sebagai strategi intervensi untuk menurunkan tingkat kebisingan dan kegelisahan di kegawatdaruratan psikiatri. Kegawatdaruratan psikiatri seringkali menjadi lingkungan yang penuh tekanan, di mana komunikasi yang efektif dapat menjadi kunci untuk menenangkan pasien yang mengalami krisis mental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi keefektifan poster komunikasi verbal de-eskalasi sebagai strategi intervensi di kegawatdaruratan psikiatri. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan langkah-langkah desain grafis yang mempertimbangkan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi verbal de-eskalasi yang efektif dengan menggunakan RASCH Model. Poster yang dihasilkan kemudian dievaluasi melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Data diambil melalui kuesioner untuk mengukur pemahaman dan efektivitas poster. Data dianalisis menggunakan RASCH Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain poster komunikasi verbal de-eskalasi efektif. Partisipan menilai poster sebagai alat yang membantu dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang teknik komunikasi yang tenang dan mengurangi potensi konflik. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah adopsi dan penerapan poster sebagai sumber informasi yang mudah diakses untuk tenaga medis dan pihak terkait di kegawatdaruratan psikiatri, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan pengalaman pasien.

Abstract

Stroke patients often experience changes in body structure, form, and function, which can lead to a decrease in self-efficacy. Individuals living with chronic illness require social support, health education, guidance, and coping strategies to manage their condition. One of the challenges faced by stroke patients is the limited access to in-person support services. Delivering care through alternative modes such as video, computer, or telephone has the potential to overcome some of these barriers. This review aimed to examine the effectiveness of information technology-based educational interventions on the self-efficacy of stroke patients. This study employed a scoping review framework. Literature searches were conducted using databases including Scopus, CINAHL, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and PubMed. The keywords used were “stroke” AND “education” AND “self-efficacy”, limited to publications from the past 10 years. Articles were written in English and of the randomized controlled trial type. A total of nine articles were reviewed, which reported the use of technology-based media such as telephone, video, virtual reality, and computer devices in the follow-up care of stroke patients at home. The findings indicate that the use of information technology is effective in improving self-efficacy, health literacy, and the quality of life of stroke patients.

Abstract

The Madrasah Science Competition and all other types of Olympic competitions are an important event to achieve achievements and a place for all students to show themselves. Debriefing before the competition is an important activity to carry out as a guide for students to take to the field. However, field facts state that in Man 2 Tanah Datar the coaching of Madrasah Science Competition physics experienced a few problems. Where there is a lack of interest and competitiveness of students at MAN 2 Tanah Datar in participating in Madrasah science competitions and National Student Olympiads in the field of physics at both district/city, provincial and national levels. If you stretch it backwards, this Madrasah Science Competition training is only carried out when it is approaching competition time. Therefore, this coaching can provide changes aimed at increasing students' self-confidence, by ensuring that anyone can take part in competitions, especially in the field of Physics Olympiads, as well as fostering students' interest in taking physics training long before taking part so that these students not only physically ready but also mentally ready. Apart from that, this coaching is carried out so that students are able to compete at any level without feeling burdened due to lack of preparation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employee engagement and organizational culture on employee performance at a tabbleware company in Tangerang Regency. Employee performance is an important factor in the company's progress, which is influenced by the emotional involvement of employees in their work and the organizational culture that applies in the company. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were all employees of the printing company, with a sample of 30 people. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the validity test showed that all items in the employee engagement, organizational culture and employee performance variables had values ??exceeding r table so that they were declared valid. Reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha showed that all studies were reliable. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that employee engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as did organizational culture. The F test showed that simultaneously, employee engagement and organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance with a significant value, and f count was greater than f table. This strengthens the suspicion of the study with the results of the study that employee engagement and organizational culture were influenced by employee performance, where the rest were not explained in this study, namely influenced by compensation and the work environment. Based on these findings, tabbleware companies are advised to improve employee engagement and organizational culture to maximize employee performance.

Abstract

This article presents an in-depth literature review on the practices and significance of verbal de-escalation in psychiatric emergency situations. Verbal de-escalation is a communication strategy aimed at reducing tension and conflict in psychiatric patients experiencing crises. The aim of this research is to explore the effectiveness of various training methods in implementing verbal de-escalation techniques in psychiatric emergencies. The research method with scoping review, this article provides an overview of the concept of verbal de-escalation, commonly used techniques, and its positive impact on enhancing safety and intervention effectiveness in psychiatric emergencies. Additionally, the article identifies factors influencing the success of implementing verbal de-escalation and emphasizes the need for training and a holistic approach in managing psychiatric emergencies. The findings of this research can offer insights for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers in improving the quality of psychiatric emergency services through the effective implementation of verbal de-escalation strategies.

Abstract

Stroke is a leading cause of disability. Previous studies revealed that most stroke survivors leave the hospital with varying degrees of disability, often accompanied by limb hemiplegia and other dysfunctions. Caregivers make an important contribution to the health and well-being of stroke patients. This is evidenced by data as much as 25-74% of stroke patients need the help and support of caregivers to assist in various daily activities and to carry out self-management strategies. There fore the purpose of this study is to identify what psychological problems experienced by caregivers of stroke patients Methods: The approach used in this article is a scoping review. The purpose of using this approach is to identify findings that have already been done and to identify gaps in the existing literature. Results: Based on the results of the selection of article searches, 1783 literature from PubMed (778 articles), sciencedirect (500 articles) and Ebsco (505 articles) from the results of the analysis of articles that can be taken according to the criteria are 7 articles. Discussion: The 7 articles were selected where there were 14 articles that were the same in the data base to be excluded and the remaining 1769 articles. Of the 1450 articles, 319 articles were excluded because they were not relevant, not original articles and theses. The screening results obtained 312 based on the title and abstract, then excluded articles because they did not fit the inclusion criteria and did not focus on the psychological problems of caregivers of stroke patients, the final selection of full text obtained 7 articles. The sudden job of being a caregiver of a spouse or family member suffering from stroke can have adverse psychological consequences. These findings illustrate the complexity of the challenges faced by caregivers in caring for stroke patients, including psychological impacts such as anxiety, depression and workload experienced by caregivers and associated factors that influence the well-being experienced by caregivers of stroke patients.

Pain is one of them sign the main thing felt by sufferers disease chronic , study handler non- pharmacological pain especially acupressure has Lots carried out, however, review studies are possible used as base thinking intervention This Still limited. Objective from this review is For see effect of acupressure against pain in disease chronic. This review use approach scoping review, with using Pubmed, ScienDirect, Proquest databases with using the keywords “ Acupressure” AND “Pain” AND “Cronic” OR “Cronic diases”. On search the done filtering data with initial filters checklist "free full text", "Publication from 2019-2024", "Randomized Controlled Trial". A review analysis was performed with use approach Arksey and O'Malley theory. The review results show that acupressure has effect positive in reduce and overcome pain in disease chronic, among others reduce painful post operation thoracoscopy and post procedure extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), then reduce pain in patients cancer , lowering pain in patients coronary angiography , reducing pain in patients hemodialysis , as well reduce pain in patients elderly with osteoarthritis. Study furthermore can do an article review associated with acupressure other methods in overcome symptoms of disease chronic.
