Abstract

Vaksin Covid-19 merupakan salah satu terobosan pemerintah dalam melawan dan mengendalikan Covid-19, khususnya di Indonesia. Tujuan vaksinasi Covid-19 adalah untuk meminimalisir penyebaran Covid-19, menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian akibat Covid-19. Vaksin Covid-19 menimbulkan kontroversi pada sebagian kelompok masyarakat. penyebaran informasi hoaks dapat mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin Covid-19, yang tentunya dapat mempengaruhi perilaku masyarakat dalam mengambil keputusan dan pilihan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau literature yang tersedia saat ini tentang persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksinasi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan menggunakan database elektronik yaitu Google dan Google scholar yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 2021- 2023. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan 6 artikel yang sesuai kriteria. Kesimpulanya adalah Persepsi masyarakat tentang vaksinasi dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku masyarakt terhadap vaksinasi. Masyarakat dengan persepsi positif terhadap vaksinasi cenderung lebih bersedia untuk melakukan vaksinasi, sedangkan masyarakat dengan persepsi negatif terhadap vaksinasi cenderung lebih enggan untuk melakukan vaksinasi.

Abstract

One of the nutritional problems that occurs in pregnant women is anemia. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, every year around 40% of pregnant women worldwide experience anemia, mainly due to iron deficiency. This anemia must be avoided by pregnant women because the impact of anemia on pregnant women themselves is miscarriage, bleeding during pregnancy, premature birth, fetal disorders, labor and postpartum disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Rumbio Jaya Health Center UPT. This type of research is quantitative analytical with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in Trimester II and III in the Rumbio Jaya Health Center work area in June 2024, totaling 96 people. The sample in this study was the total population of 96 people. The data collection tool in this study used a questionnaire. This study used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results of the study showed that 52 respondents (54.2%) had less knowledge and 56 respondents (58.3%) experienced anemia in pregnant women. There is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the work area of ​​Rumbio Jaya Health Center UPT with a p value of 0.001. It is expected that the Health Center will further improve education, counseling and monitoring for pregnant women related to Fe tablet supplementation as an effort to prevent anemia in pregnancy.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) along Jalan Kubang Raya encounter substantial challenges in implementing ergonomic principles and managing workplace environmental conditions. Preliminary observations conducted on 20 MSMEs revealed that 85% of workers engaged in non-ergonomic postures 65% consistently worked in a stooped position, while 45% utilized work tables with suboptimal heights (50-60 cm). Moreover, 90% of workers were directly exposed to ambient air pollution and road traffic noise. This community engagement program was developed to enhance ergonomic awareness and improve workplace environmental conditions through four stages of intervention: (1) observation using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, (2) interactive awareness sessions, (3) hands-on training in simple work tool modifications, and (4) periodic evaluation. The program outcomes demonstrated a significant increase in ergonomic comprehension (from 25% to 82% as measured by pre- and post-tests), a 45% reduction in musculoskeletal pain complaints, and the adoption of safe work practices by 78% of participants. Notably, 65% of the MSMEs independently constructed dust protection devices, contributing to a reduction in pollution exposure by up to 30%. These findings underscore the effectiveness of participatory approaches in promoting occupational health and enhancing productivity in MSMEs operating in high-risk environmental areas. For sustainability, it is recommended to establish local ergonomic cadres and integrate training modules into the programs of the regional Department of Manpower.

Abstract

Kebiasaan jajan pada anak sekolah dasar seperti dua sisi mata uang. Baik dan buruknya berjalan beriringan karena banyak kandungan zat kimia yang digunakan bertentangan dengan tubuh seperti boraks, formalin, MSG dan masih banyak zat-zat yang lain. Dilain sisi, jajanan ini diperlukan sebagai makanan tambahan anak. Keterampilan anak dalam memilih jajanan di sekolah merupakan faktor kritis untuk mendapatkan makanan yang sesuai kebutuhan dan memenuhi syarat Kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa kelas 2,3 dan 4 di Sekolah Dasar Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai mengenai kandungan zat kimia pada jajanan serta efektivitas edukasi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi perilaku konsumsi jajanan dan penyuluhan edukasi keamanan pangan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum edukasi, pengetahuan siswa mengenai zat kimia berbahaya masih rendah. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa dalam memilih jajanan yang lebih sehat dan aman. Sekolah juga telah menerapkan kebijakan pembatasan jenis jajanan yang dijual untuk mengurangi risiko paparan zat kimia berbahaya. Kesimpulannya, edukasi keamanan pangan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa dalam memilih jajanan yang aman, serta mendukung terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang sehat dan bebas dari jajanan berbahayaKata kunci: edukasi, makanan jajanan, zat kimia

Abstract

Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used to avoid work accidents. Midwives have a considerable risk of contracting the disease because midwives have contact with the body fluids of pregnant/mother who gives birth, such as blood and amniotic fluid. The purpose of this research was to determine the compliance of midwives with the use of personal protective equipment in efforts to prevent post-COVID-19 in the Klinik Mandiri Bidan Setia Palu City. This research employs a type of research with a qualitative approach. The number of informants is five informants. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that midwives are cheerful and obedient in using personal protective equipment. Midwives have a positive attitude toward using personal protective equipment because PPE is the need of every individual and must be obeyed for the benefit of all. According to Standard Operating Procedure, midwives comply with personal protective equipment. It is recommended that midwives in The Klinik Mandiri Bidan Setia Palu city  always increase awareness of the disease by using complete PPE.

Abstract

Sekolah PAUD/ TK Ar-Raafi Kecamatan Kampar merupakan salah satu taman kanak-kanak yang berada di Kampar. Berdasarkan data yang didapat terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi PAUD/ TK Ar-Raafi dalam menegakkan disiplin masyarakat sekolah khususnya peserta didik dalam penerapan delapan pola hidup bersih dan sehat di sekolah, diantaranya mencuci tangan yang benar. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan di PAUD/ TK Ar-Raafi Kabupaten Kampar dan di hadiri sebanyak 14 siswa berserta pendamping orangtua. Sosialisasi diselenggarakan selama 1 kali pertemuan pada bulan Juli 2020. Hasil sosialisasi ini adalah ada peningkatan pengetahuan dari peserta tentang pentingnya cuci tangan sebelum & setelah makan, sebelum dan setelah BAK, sebelum dan setelah BAB dan sebelum dan setelah bermain di PAUD/ TK Ar-Raafi sehingga peserta bisa kedepannya mengetahui setiap kegiatan peserta didik mengutamakan cuci tangan untuk kebersihan mereka.

Abstract

IKM workers in Bangun Sari Village, Kec. Kampar Kiri Hilir still uses human power when lifting weights, this causes Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs) such as back pain, injuries to muscles, nerves, tendons, bones, joints, cartilage, and other body aches. This can cause losses to SMEs, one of which is a decrease in the level of worker productivity and a decrease in the low level of production. With the Implementation of the Importance of Using Manual Material Handling (MMH) Trolleys for Ergonomics-Based Load Transportation at IKM Desa Bangun Sari Kec. Lower Left Kampar. The service method is carried out at IKM Desa Bangun Sari Kec. Kampar Kiri Hilir, and was attended by 16 workers and Small and Medium Industry owners. The socialization was held for 1 meeting in June 2022. The result of this socialization was to increase knowledge about health in lifting weights with a safe posture. education on the importance of using the Manual Material Handling (MMH) Trolley in transportation and lifting loads for SMI workers to reduce injury to the body. Empowerment of IKM owners and related people in monitoring the use of trolleys is expected to be realized properly by providing several examples of using trolleys properly and correctly so as to create a comfortable and safe position.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices in the livestock sector through student empowerment. A collaborative approach between students and lecturers is used in designing sustainable solutions, taking into account ergonomic principles. The training was held at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University, involving 45 students from the Animal Husbandry Study Program. Training materials cover best practices in environmentally friendly animal husbandry, waste management and the use of green technology. Evaluation is carried out through an online questionnaire to measure success and obtain feedback from participants. The results showed significant participation, with students actively involved in discussions and field practice. The evaluation concluded that empowering students in this project succeeded in increasing environmental understanding and encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices in the livestock sector. This approach reflects a commitment to achieving sustainable development by paying attention to ergonomic aspects and intergenerational collaboration.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase environmental awareness and the formation of moral character of students at SMK Perpajakan Riau with an approach based on educational philosophy and environmental ethics. This activity involves an understanding of global and local environmental issues, as well as an introduction to environmental ethics that connects moral values ​​with responsibility towards nature. The methods used include counseling, group discussions, and environmental projects that involve students in concrete actions, such as planting trees and reducing plastic waste. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires before and after the activity to measure changes in students' knowledge, attitudes, and commitment to the environment. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of environmental issues and concrete actions that can be taken to maintain sustainability. Although moral awareness of the environment increased, the greatest impact was seen in changes in students' knowledge and real actions. With this approach, it is hoped that students will not only have strong environmental knowledge, but also a character that cares and is responsible for nature. This activity reflects the integration between the theory of educational philosophy and the practice of sustainability in education.

Abstract

The handicraft work area in Vocational High Schools (SMK) often fails to consider the suitability of table and chair dimensions with students' body measurements. This mismatch poses risks such as muscle fatigue, back pain, and reduced comfort and learning productivity. This community service project aims to redesign the handicraft work area based on students’ anthropometric data to create an ergonomic environment that supports healthy and productive learning. The methods include collecting students’ anthropometric data, analyzing furniture suitability, conducting ergonomic education sessions, and simulating the use of redesigned tables and chairs. The activity was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah, Tuah Madani Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, involving 20 students and 5 handicraft teachers. The results showed an increase in ergonomic awareness, identification of furniture mismatches, and positive acceptance of the new design, which provides greater comfort and supports handicraft learning activities.
