Abstract

This research aims to create an instrument that can measure students' learning independence by measuring the level of validity and reliability. The instrument is a questionnaire for student learning independence consisting of 41 statements (20 positive statements and 21 negative statements) with responses based on a Likert scale score of 1 to 5. The research location for the empirical test of learning independence was at SMAN 1 Kalasan class XII MIPA in 3 classes. The number of empirical trial participants was 99 students. The results of the empirical test of the learning independence questionnaire instrument were then analyzed using the Winstep Rasch model program. The quality of the instrument can be determined from the unidimensional assumption test, the suitability test of the statement items to the Rasch model (item fit), and the bias of the statement items with the help of the Winstep program. The results obtained were that in the validity calculation there was 1 invalid statement out of 41 existing statements, namely the statement "I try to study as best as possible to achieve good performance" on the responsibility indicator. The reliability of the learning independence questionnaire instrument regarding the use of electronic modules is 0.93 and is in the very high category, so it can be concluded that the other 40 statements are declared valid and variable so that they can be used as instruments in measuring learning independence regarding the use of electronic modules.

Abstract

CH₃NH₃PbI₃₋ₓBrₓ perovskite films were successfully synthesized under uncontrolled humidity using a two-step spin-coating method followed by Ostwald ripening (OR) treatment. Bromide incorporation into CH₃NH₃PbI₃ was achieved by diluting the pre-formed CH₃NH₃PbI₃ films with CH₃NH₃Br (MABr) solutions at various concentrations. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the formation of a tetragonal perovskite phase with reduced lattice parameters as the bromide concentration increased, indicating successful substitution of I⁻ by Br⁻ ions. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) characterization showed that moderate bromide incorporation (30–40 mg/mL) produced dense and uniform grains with homogeneous halide distribution, whereas excessive MABr resulted in non-uniform morphology and halide segregation, particularly under humid conditions. Optical analysis revealed a gradual blue shift of the absorption edge, consistent with band gap widening due to lattice contraction. Photovoltaic performance measurements demonstrated that higher MABr concentrations led to decreased current density and fill factor, attributed to excessive bromide content and defect formation. These findings indicate that controlled bromide incorporation via Ostwald ripening using an MABr concentration of 20 mg/mL effectively enhances the structural quality, film stability, and photovoltaic performance of CH₃NH₃PbI₃₋ₓBrₓ perovskite solar cells under humid environments.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the development of science and technology is growing rapidly in the world of education. In learning the use of technology in the form of using smartphones and the internet which can be accessed by both teachers and students. Trends in learning by incorporating elements of technology in science learning. Science is a family of biology, physics, chemistry which has material characteristics that can be seen or observed by the senses and are not visible to the five senses and cannot be displayed in class. The natural aspect of science is quite broad because it relates to phenomena and natural phenomena, therefore 3D visualization is needed in learning so that abstract material can be more concrete in the meaning of learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the content or content analysis of 20 articles related to 3D visualization in science learning. The results obtained are 3D visualization in learning used from elementary to high school levels. The 3D visualization is in the form of AR-based learning media and AR-based modules that affect the learning outcomes that teachers and students want to achieve. In making objects in the form of 3D visualization using several software, namely blender, unity, vuforia, AR, uniteAR.

The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive data analysis. Descriptive analysis was carried out on student self-efficacy questionnaire data after applying the project-based learning model so that the ideal average (Mi) and ideal standard deviation (Sdi) on self-efficacy data. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 South Bengkulu. This research was conducted in the even semester from May to June 2023. The research sample was the entire XI MIPA class of SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu Selatan which amounted to 131 students. The results of this study indicate that the self-efficacy profile of students in PjBL is dominated by the high and medium categories with a percentage of 31% each. The self-efficacy of students in the PjBL model is dominated by the strength aspect of 41.42%, then the level aspect of 33.33%, and the generality aspect of 25.25%. The indicator of self-efficacy that has the highest score is the belief in being able to solve chemical problems/tasks in various levels of difficulty of 628.

Abstract

Students' low chemical literacy and scientific attitudes in understanding chemical concepts, particularly in green chemistry, pose significant challenges in chemistry education today. Traditional learning models are often less effective in fostering 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving, which are essential for a more relevant and applicable chemistry education. This study aims to evaluate the impact of a STEM integrated with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' chemical literacy and scientific attitudes in green chemistry. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the study involved two experimental classes and two control classes. Each group participated in pretests and posttests to assess their chemical literacy and scientific attitudes. The analysis revealed that the PBL-STEM model significantly enhanced students' chemical literacy (N-Gain = 0.54) and scientific attitudes (N-Gain = 0.46) compared to traditional learning methods. Although the improvement in scientific attitudes was more pronounced, the increase in chemical literacy was relatively lower, indicating the necessity for adjustments in instructional approaches to deepen students' understanding of chemical concepts. The integration of green chemistry principles within the PBL-STEM model effectively connected chemistry education with global environmental challenges while also fostering 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. This study concludes that the PBL-STEM model presents a promising alternative for enhancing the quality of chemistry education and preparing students to navigate the complexities of an ever-evolving world.
