Abstract

Traditional food from different parts of Indonesia is very diverse. However, the growth of Nusantara’s culinary business often faces problems, both in terms of legislation and competition with the growing foreign food business. Compared to food business laws in other countries that are more organized and supportive, Indonesian laws that regulate the protection and promotion of traditional foods are often uncompetitive. National food business law resistance to traditional Nusantara food is one of the obstacles to the growth of Nusantara's culinary business. More expert strategies are needed to improve the competitiveness of traditional food products as Indonesian traditional food trends continue to shift due to imported food. Behavioral theories that focus on perception, subjective norms, and behavioral control are used in this study to measure how millennials use Indonesian food. The results show that consumers have a good perception of local food. However, the lowest average value of all variables suggests that the perceptions of important people do not influence them dominantly in consuming local foods. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to raise public awareness and concern for traditional Nusantara food as well as to increase professionalism in the development of the Nusantara culinary business. Abstract

Siguntang Hill is a small hill or the highest point in Palembang City with an altitude of 26 meters above sea level. It has historical significance from the royal period found in Palembang City and has various potential as a pilgrimage tour because there are 7 tombs located there. However, the condition of the tombs has deteriorated, and many buildings are not suitable for visiting. The purpose of this research is to review and analyze the management and development strategies of tourist attractions in Siguntang Hill as pilgrimage tourism. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of documentation studies, observations, and interviews. The results of the study explain that the strengths of Bukit Siguntang include its central location in the city, accessibility via various transportation fleets, beautiful and cool panorama, and the presence of a King's Tomb which is an icon on Siguntang Hill. The weaknesses include the poor condition of the tombs, lack of human resources in the field of tourism, and limited physical resources for the development and management of facilities at Siguntang Hill. The opportunities include the support of the central government to make Siguntang Hill more attractive, hosting the Siguntang festival activities held regularly every year, and renovations to change the image of Siguntang Hill into a pleasant place to visit. The threats include the lack of dominance of pilgrimage tourism activities at Siguntang Hill, the emergence of competitors as tourist destinations in Palembang City, and the condition of the tombs eroded by time. Bukit Siguntang has significant potential as seen from the SWOT (IFAS and EFAS) analysis, with an IFAS matrix value of 1.7 and an EFAS matrix value of 1.3.

Abstract

Dusun Sambirejo and Dusun Tapansari, located in Desa Watusigar, Ngawen Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul Regency, Central Java, hold considerable untapped creative economic potential, particularly in the tourism sector. This potential stems from the area's natural beauty, cultural traditions, and unique local products such as traditional hats, soy milk, horticultural snacks, recycled crafts, and herbal medicine. However, several challenges have been identified, including limited community skills in producing creative products, lack of knowledge regarding effective packaging techniques, and restricted market access. The goal of this community service activity is to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of the community through creative economy initiatives in both villages. The method employed is a participatory ethnographic approach, which provides an in-depth understanding of the social and cultural environment of the target community. The results of this initiative indicate a high potential for developing a creative economy based on the area's natural and cultural wealth. This potential can be optimized through innovations in attractive and environmentally friendly packaging, improvements in production efficiency, and broader marketing strategies, including digital marketing. These innovations are expected to enhance the economic value of local products, expand market access, and significantly contribute to the economic improvement of the community at both regional and national levels
