Abstract

From a human rights standpoint, students' fundamental right to free speech is protected by the state constitution and fundamental laws. For students to be able to express their opinions without fear of retaliation or intimidation, they must have the fundamental right to freedom of expression. The state's basic laws and the constitution both safeguard the right to freedom of expression from the perspective of human rights. Of course, there are limitations on the right to free speech that must be observed, such as the requirement to respect the legal system and the human rights of others. The 1945 Constitution's Article 28E, paragraph (3), which states that "Every person shall have the right to freedom of association, assembly, and expression of opinion," ensures freedom of speech in Indonesia. The freedom of expression is regulated by Law Number 39 of 1999 Concerning Human Rights, which also safeguards the right to freedom of opinion and expression. However, in practice, speech freedom is often curtailed by a variety of factors, such as official pressure, intimidation, and threats of violence. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen the defense of the right to free speech and increase public understanding of its importance

Abstract

The adverse effects of globalization can convert all aspects of people's lives. The negative effects of waves in the  era of globalization are so great that they are unstoppable, reflected in the attitude of a non-selective society  towards foreign cultures, so it is feared that it will gradually affect the character of the nation and pose a threat  to the integrity and resilience of Indonesia's national identity because it can end up eating away and softening  the nation's identity. Therefore, it is necessary to revive the role of Pancasila as a foundation for ethos,  ideological, and identity defense mechanisms to deal with the influence of globalization. By collecting a variety  of references from primary and secondary sources, including journals, books, articles, research papers, and a  wide variety of materials from various websites, the study uses a literature study methodology. The literature  review is carried out to support the issues under study and become the basis for various arguments about the  nature of the nation as a national identity as well as efforts to preserve and overcome the difficulties of national  identity in the era of globalization. This study aims to examine the urgency of revitalization in the actualization  of Pancasila items. Based on the results of the research, it is hoped that the public can understand the  importance of revitalizing the grains of Pancasila as a reflection of life in the face of the fading of the nation's  character in the era of globalization.

Abstract

The need for legal protection for children is very important for society, technological developments have also led to an increase in various crimes that can happen to anyone, including children. In order for every child to be responsible for defending his nation and state in the future, every child must have the widest opportunity to grow and develop optimally both physically, mentally and socially. However, the best interests of the child must always come first, especially if the child is a victim of sexual abuse. Because supervision of children is very important both in terms of maintaining and quality of life and the future of the nation, crimes of sexual violence against children must be dealt with immediately and the rights of children as victims of crime must be addressed. protected Based on the research results it can be understood that the legal protection of child victims of sexual crimes is based on law. Factors causing the occurrence of sexual crimes against minors are internal factors such as weakening of faith/trust, psychosocial disturbances and sexual disturbances. External factors include moral values and customs, poverty/economic factors, the mass media. Abstract

This article examines the integration of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) into Indonesia’s civic education curriculum to promote multicultural attitudes among students. Drawing on curriculum reviews, recent policy initiatives, and scholarly analyses, the study highlights how Pancasila Education has increasingly incorporated themes of intercultural dialogue, environmental stewardship, human rights, and collaborative problem-solving. Teachers and school culture emerge as key drivers in translating these values into practice, while regional disparities and limited professional development remain significant challenges. The discussion underscores the pivotal role of Pancasila Indonesia’s national ideology as a moral and philosophical foundation that aligns local wisdom with universal principles of peace, justice, and human dignity. Each of Pancasila’s five principles provides a bridge between national identity and global responsibilities, ensuring that GCE strengthens rather than dilutes cultural heritage. Findings suggest that a Pancasila-based GCE framework fosters tolerant, empathetic, and critically minded learners capable of engaging with complex global issues while maintaining strong national cohesion. The article concludes with recommendations for enhancing teacher training, enriching experiential learning opportunities, and addressing regional implementation gaps to fully realize the transformative potential of Global Citizenship Education in Indonesia
