Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) measures human development achievements based on a number of basic components of quality of life. The aim of this research is to analyze the human development index in Banyuwangi Regency to determine the influence of life expectancy, expected length of schooling, and average length of schooling on the human development index in Banyuwangi Regency for 2015-2022. The method used is a quantitative approach by analyzing secondary data sourced from the Banyuwangi Regency Central Statistics Agency. Data analysis used Multiple Regression with the IBM SPSS analysis tool. The research results show that the Life Expectancy variable (X1) and the Expected Years of Schooling variable (X2) have a significant influence on the human development index in Banyuwangi Regency (Y), while the Average length of schooling variable (X3) is not significant. Simultaneously, the coefficient of determination value is 99%. Keywords: Human Development Index (HDI), Life Expectancy, Expected Years of Schooling, Average Years of Schooling, Banyuwangi Regency Abstrak: Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) mengukur capaian pembangunan manusia berbasis sejumlah komponen dasar kualitas hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Banyuwangi untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur harapan hidup, harapan lama sekolah, dan rata-rata lama sekolah terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Banyuwangi Tahun 2015-2022. Metode yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menganalisis data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Analisis data menggunakan Regresi Berganda dengan alat analisis IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Umur Harapan Hidup (X1) dan variabel Harapan Lama Sekolah (X2) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di Kabupaten Banyuwangi (Y), sedangkan variabel Rata-rata lama sekolah (X3) tidak signifikan. Adapun secara simultan nilai Koefisien Determinasi sebesar 99%. Abstract

The purpose of this service is 1) Segregation of waste is carried out from the start when the waste is produced; 2) Motivating students in the movement to start sorting waste starting with me; 3) Motivating education unit managers to provide separate bins according to the type of waste. This service was carried out in 16 education units and TPS3R Kalisurodi under the auspices of the Darussalam Pondok Pesantren Blokagung Banyuwangi. The mentoring method used is the Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) approach. The results of the service show that there has been an increase in knowledge about increasing knowledge related to 1) Types of organic, inorganic waste, and hazardous and toxic materials; 2) Reusable & Recyclable materials (selling value); 3) Differences between Kitchen Waste and Garden Waste M 4) various examples of hazardous and toxic materials (B3); 5) Impact if waste is not managed on health; 6) Reasons why waste must be managed; 7) Stages of waste management in Islamic boarding schools and educational units; 8) Manufacture of individual composters; 8) Know the BSF cultivation cycle; 9) Recognizing that it is necessary to separate the impact from the source to solve the segregation problem at the TPS; 10) Knowing that there is a need for behavior change in all individual components in Islamic boarding schools and education units as a solution to solving waste problems. This assistance emphasizes that in implementing Islamic boarding schools' economic empowerment through sustainable waste management, a joint committee is required between all components in the foundation, education units, and TPS3R Kalisuro waste management to sort waste from sources, form waste banks in each education unit, and provide adequate infrastructure facilities for management

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the social environment on learning motivation and the contribution given to students at the Mukhtar Syafa'at 1 Putra Blokagung Banyuwangi Islamic Boarding School. The research approach used quantitative causality research. The population in this study were all students at the Mukhtar Syafaat Islamic Boarding School totaling 100 people. The sample in this study was 78 students with a simple random sampling technique. Data collection used observation, questionnaire, and documentation methods. For data analysis using the linear regression method. The results of the study showed a calculated t of 2.415> t table 1.664 so that it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the social environment on learning motivation. While in the correlation test, the correlation value r = 0.267 was obtained which means that the two variables have a low linear relationship but have a positive value, meaning that the higher the level of influence from the social environment, the higher the level of student learning motivation. The R Square value = 0.071, meaning that the contribution given by the social environment to learning motivation is 7.1%, while the remaining 92.9% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Islamic Business Ethics, Customer Loyalty, and Islamic Service Quality have a very important role in increasing customer satisfaction, especially in the context of a business based on Islamic values. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contribution of the influence of Islamic business ethics, Customer Loyalty, and Islamic service quality to customer satisfaction at the Ausath Mart Darussalam Blokagung Store. The study used a quantitative approach on 81 respondents who were regular customers of the store. The results of the analysis showed that Islamic Business Ethics, Customer Loyalty, and Islamic Service Quality had a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction at the Ausath Mart Darussalam Blokagung Store. The results of the regression test showed that Islamic Business Ethics had a sig. value of 0.032 <0.05; Customer Loyalty had a sig. value of 0.033 <0.05 and Islamic Service Quality had a sig. value of 0.005 <0.05. The amount of contribution of these variables was 30.5% while the remaining 69.5% was influenced by other variables not explained in this study. The combination of implementing strong Islamic business ethics, increasing customer loyalty, and quality of service oriented towards Islamic values, as a whole, is able to create a satisfying shopping experience for consumers. This proves that the three variables simultaneously contribute to forming consumer satisfaction and sustainable loyalty. Abstract

Abstract Tourism is a promising sector in increasing people's income, but what is the impact of tourist visits and local income on the human development index as a measure of quality progress in the area. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the large contribution of tourist visits and local revenue in increasing the human development index in Banyuwangi Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach by analyzing secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The research results show that the influence of tourist visits and local income on the human development index is significant with a determinant coefficient value of 90.4%. The high coefficient value indicates that tourist visits and local income are variables that can increase the Human Development index in Banyuwangi Regency.

Abstract

Tourism potential is a sector that has an important role in continuing the economic journey in a region. The tourism sector is a promising source of income to be further managed in an effort to increase income. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth of tourist visits in Banyuwangi Regency. The data used are secondary time series data using descriptive statistical analysis to determine the growth of tourist visits in Banyuwangi Regency. The results showed that growth in 2018 the growth in the number of tourist visits experienced a lowest point of 0.080%, while the highest growth was in 2016, which was 1.078%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Islamic branding, personal selling, and product quality simultaneously on the purchasing decision of Pashmina Hijab at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi. Quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents was done randomly and then analyzed using multiple regression. The results of the analysis show that Islamic branding, personal selling, and product quality simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on the purchasing decisions of Pashmina Hijab made by female students at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi with a contribution of 67.5%.

Abstract

The main problem that is often associated with resource management in coastal areas is the weak involvement of interested parties in the implementation of marine and coastal development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of women's participation economically and socially on the Muncar coast of Banyuwangi. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with research instruments of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that young coastal women have a strategic role in managing and planning for the sustainability of the family economy because they have a dual role as housewives and family "operators". However, the dual roles of these young coastal women are not equipped with advanced knowledge, mindset and behavior so that the level of economy and welfare of coastal communities is generally relatively low.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education financing policies face a dilemma between accessibility and quality. Affordable education increases accessibility but often compromises quality, while high-quality education requires significant investment that is less accessible. This study examines the dynamics of education financing policies at MTs YPI Darul Huda, Palembang, using a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews and participatory observation. The results show that programs like BOS and scholarships enhance educational access, yet challenges such as misallocation of funds and lack of transparency hinder their effectiveness. Effective policies should integrate accessibility and quality through needs-based allocation, transparency, and efficient management. Such policies can enhance students' motivation, participation, and contribute to the development of competitive human resources. Keywords: Accessibility, Quality, Financing of Education

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the principles of transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness in strengthening the governance of education costs at SMP Plus Darussalam and identify the obstacles faced. Using qualitative research methods, data was collected through interviews with the Deputy Head of Curriculum and related literature studies. The research results show that the implementation of accountability principles at SMP Plus Darussalam focuses on financial transparency, routine audits and a clear reporting system, thereby minimizing the risk of misuse of funds. Efficiency in allocating funds is implemented through a cashless payment system, which increases transaction transparency, reduces waste, and supports the development of facilities and improving the quality of learning. Obstacles in managing education costs still include a lack of transparency, limited resources, an administrative system that is not yet optimal, and low financial management capacity. To overcome this, strengthening the monitoring system, increasing capacity through training, and optimizing supporting technology are needed to ensure effective budget management. This research confirms that strengthening education cost governance through transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness can increase stakeholder trust, optimize budget use, and support the achievement of sustainable and quality education goals.
