Abstract

Kecamatan Peusangan Siblah Krueng merupakan salah satu wilayah yang berpotensi untuk pengembangan sentra produksi Jeruk Pamelo Giri di Kabupaten Bireun. Namun, sampai saat ini masih sangat minim informasi dan data tentang karakteristik lahan yang dapat digunakan dalam rangka mendukung rencana pengembangan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lahan, status kesuburan tanah. serta mengevaluasi tingkat kesesuaian lahan (aktual dan potensial), dan mengetahui faktor pembatas kesesuaian lahan untuk budidaya Jeruk Pamelo Giri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis deskriptif berdasarkan observasi lapangan dan analisis laboratorium, pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian survei ini adalah pendekatan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder serta hasil pengamatan lapangan Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara “purposive sampling”. Hasil kajian menunjukkan karakteristik lahan berupa tekstur tanah (Entisol, Inceptisol dan Ultisol) dan tingkat bahaya erosi (dengan kemiringan lereng 25-45%). Status kesuburan tanah di lokasi penelitian seluruhnya rendah Kesesuaian lahan aktual pada SPL 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 dan SPL 8 adalah Kelas S3 dengan luas 8.422,27 Ha(82,14%) dan pada SPL 4 dan SPL 6 berada pada Kelas N1 seluas 1.831,32 Ha (17,86%). Adapun hasil kesesuaian lahan potensial pada SPL 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 dan SPL 8 adalah kelas S1 seluas 8.422,27 Ha (82,14%) dan SPL 4 dan SPL 6 adalah Kelas S3e seluas 1.831,32 Ha (17,86%). Terdapat 4 faktor pembatas dalam pengembangan tanaman Jeruk Pamelo Giri di lokasi penelitian, yaitu: media perakaran, retensi hara, hara tersedia dan tingkat bahaya erosi.

Abstract

Medicinal herbs, such as the ant nest plant (Hydnophytum formicarum), are promising for the management of diabetes mellitus-associated infertility. The aim of this study was to evaluate the biological activity of the ant nest plant and its capacity to mitigate the adverse effects of alloxan-induced diabetes on testicular morphology, epididymal function, and sperm quality in male rats. The tuber of the ant nest plant was extracted using methanol and then subjected to phytochemical screenings. For the experiment, 20 male white rats (Rattus norvegicus), aged 3–4 months and weighing 150–200 g, were equally divided into four groups. The ant nest extract was administered orally using oral gavage over 14 days. The testes, epididymis, and sperm were collected for weighing, morphometric measurements, and quality evaluation. Qualitative testing of phytochemical compounds indicated the presence of flavonoids, tannins, steroids, terpenoids, and phenolic compounds in the plants. The results revealed the protective effects of ant nest extract against the adverse fertility effects induced by alloxan and a high-fat diet, as observed in testicular weight (p=0.045), epididymal weight (p=0.041), and sperm quality (p>0.05).

Abstract

Geothermal ecosystems are defined by extreme environmental conditions, such as elevated temperatures, high concentrations of toxic chemicals, and fluctuations in abiotic stressors, which shape plant survival and adaptation. These unique ecosystems, found across various geothermal regions globally, support specialized plant communities that have developed distinctive morphological, physiological, and ecological adaptations. Indonesia, located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, is one of the world’s richest geothermal nations, offering an important yet underexplored context for studying vegetation in geothermal zones. This review examines the environmental conditions of geothermal ecosystems, the adaptive strategies of vegetation, and patterns of plant diversity within Indonesian geothermal fields. It also explores ecological succession, community dynamics, and the potential use of geothermal vegetation as environmental indicators for biomonitoring. Despite growing interest, significant research gaps remain, particularly in long-term monitoring and the integration of molecular-level studies. Addressing these gaps is essential for enhancing scientific understanding and informing conservation and sustainable geothermal energy development in tropical regions. This review highlights the ecological significance of geothermal vegetation and underscores the need for interdisciplinary research to support both biodiversity preservation and responsible energy exploitation.

Abstract

The digital revolution has brought significant changes to the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education, requiring teachers to master digital literacy, pedagogy, and content. This study explores teacher literacy's impact on character development in Islamic Religious Education during the digital era. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzes literature on teacher literacy, character education, and educational technology. The findings indicate that teachers' digital literacy influences teaching quality and the effectiveness of character education. Teachers with high digital literacy can leverage digital tools to create interactive and meaningful learning experiences. In contrast, those with low digital literacy tend to rely on traditional methods less relevant to students' needs in the digital age. Key challenges identified include limited access to technology, lack of digital literacy training, and cultural resistance to modern technology. This study recommends continuous training, the provision of technological infrastructure, and curriculum development that integrates Islamic values with digital approaches to enhance the effectiveness of character education.

Abstract

Kehidupan yang semakin kompleks akan mendorong berbagai pihak untuk mencapai segala sesuatu secara instan, mudah dan terorganisasi. Karena Al-Quran dengan tegas melarang aktivitas penimbunan terhadap harta yang dimiliki sehingga investasi sangat dianjurkan agar harta yang dimiliki menjadi produktif dan juga mendatangkan manfaat bagi orang lain. Melalui pasar modal investasi harta dan kegiatan transaksi ekonomi terlepas dari hal-hal yang dilarang seperti: riba, perjudian, spekulasi dan lain-lain. Pasar modal merupakan salah satu alternatif sumber pendanaan bagi perusahaan sekaligus sebagai sarana investasi bagi para pemodal. Pasar modal berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk memobilisasi dana masyarakat dan untuk mencari kepemilikan saham suatu perusahaan dengan cara menjualnya. Sedangkan pasar modal syariah berfungsi sebagai media investasi bagi umat Islam di pasar modal yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Kontribusi Pasar Modal dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia terbukti secara signifikan,yaitu dengan keberadaan pasar modal dapat meningkatkan nilai dan jumlah investasi di Indonesia, sehingga terbuka lapangan kerja dan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat secara otomatis akan meningkat.

Abstract

Pembiayaan bermasalah atau kemacetan angsuran pada lembaga keuangan syariah,seperti BMT sebaiknya dilakukan penyelamatan sehingga lembaga keuangan tidak mengalami kerugian. Penyelamatan terhadap penbiayaan bermasalah dilakukan dengan cara-cara antara lain: Rescheduling, memperpanjang jangka waktu angsuran. Memperpanjang angsuran hampir sama dengan jangka waktu pengembalian. Dalam hal ini jangka waktu angsuran pembiayaan diperpanjang pembayarannya misalnya dari 36 kali menjadi 48 kali dan hal ini tentu saja jumlah angsurannya pun jadi mengecil seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah angsuran. Reconditioning, dapat juga dengan cara mengubah berbagai persyaratan yang ada seperti: Kapitalisasi bagi hasil, bagi hasil dijadikan hutang pokok. Penundaan pembayaran bagi hasil sampai waktu tertentu. Dalam hal penundaan pembayaran bagi hasil sampai waktu tertentu, maksudnya hanya bagi hasil yang dapat ditunda pembayarannya, sedangkan pokok pinjamannya tetap harus dibayar seperti biasa. Restructuring dapat dilakuan untuk penangannan pembiayaan bermasalah atau macet dengan menambah jumlah angsuran, dengan menambah equity (saham), dengan menyetor uang tunai, dan tambahan dari pemilik. Atau juga dengan Kombinasi, merupakan kombinasi dari ketiga jenis penyelamatan pembiayaan bermasalah dengan menerapkan ketiga cara tersebut yaitu: Rescheduling, Reconditioning dan Restructuring dan Yang terakhit untuk menyelamatkan penganaan pembiayaan bermasalah dengan penyitaan jaminan. Penyitanan jaminan merupakan jalan terakhir apabila nasabah sudah benar-benar tidak punya etiket baik ataupun sudah tidak mampu lagi untuk membayar semua hutang-hutangnya.

Abstract

Bau badan adalah aroma tidak sedap yang timbul karena keringat yang bercampur dengan bakteri kulit. Parfum adalah salah satu produk kosmetik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi bau badan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk formulasi dan evaluasi sediaan parfum dengan menggunakan bahan pewangi alami sebagai aroma dan minyak nilam fraksi berat sebagai agen pengikat. Ada dua fase metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan parfum, yaitu formulasi dan evaluasi sediaan. Formulasi dibuat dalam empat sediaan formula dengan perentase minyak nilam fraksi berat sebagai (MNFB) yang berbeda beda yaitu F0 (0%); F1 (0,25%); F2 (0,5%); dan F3 (0,75%). Evaluasi sediaan parfum yang dilakukan yaitu berupa uji homogenitas, berat jenis, pH, spot, uji SPL (sillage, projection, dan longevity), uji siklus dipercepat dan uji hedonik. Hasil uji homogenitas, berat jenis, pH, dan uji spot memperlihatkan bahwa semua sediaan sesuai dengan standar. Uji SPL memperlihatkan bahwa sediaan F3 mempunyai ketahanan aroma yang paling lama yaitu 96 jam, diikuti oleh F2 (87 jam), F1 (80 jam), dan F0 (68 jam). Uji hedonik memperlihatkan bahwa sediaan F3 mempunyai longevity yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya, serta lebih disukai karena memiliki warna, aroma dan kejernihan yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya.

Abstract

Article Highlight- Different varieties of Patchouli exhibited different growth pattern as well as in vitro culture- In order to induce callus, it has been determined that the combination of regulators is necessary.- Benzylaminopurine has been identified as a potential regulator that could be used to further develop the patchouli callus of Tapak Tuan. Abstract: Patchouli is known for its highly demanded essential oil. The Patchouli Tapaktuan variety is the most widely cultivated by local farmers in Aceh due to its high oil yield. Currently, the study and propagation of patchouli through a biotechnological approach is being developed, one of which is in vitro culture method. In this method, suitable Plant Growth Regulators (PGR) are being observed to enhance the growth of the explant. PGRs are synthetic compounds that are added to media in plant tissue culture to stimulate plant growth. This study aimed to analyze and optimize the effect of benzylaminopurine (BAP), thidiazuron (TDZ) combined with Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) on the growth of Tapaktuan patchouli leaf callus. This study was carried out by using a completely randomized design with seven treatments.  Each treatment was replicated four times and each replicate contained three explants. The concentrations used were BAP 0.75 mg/L, TDZ 1 mg/L, and NAA in the 0.25 - 0.75 mg/L range. According to this study, combining BAP and NAA was the most effective for inducing callus in Tapaktuan patchouli leaves. The combination of BAP 0.75 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L (treatment A2) was the most effective for inducing callus formation. This treatment resulted in the quickest callus development, the highest percentage of callus formation, and the largest callus diameter. Explants cultured with BAP produced a greenish-yellow callus having the potential for organogenesis culture, which could produce shoots having the ability for producing mass plantlets.

Abstract

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses an urgent global health concern, prompting the need for alternative therapeutic agents. This study evaluated the antimicrobial potential of ethyl acetate extracts from five medicinal plant species (Memecylon edule, Garcinia dioica, Syzygium sp., Memecylon caeruleum, and Aporosa octandra) collected from the geothermal Jaboi Crater in Aceh, Indonesia. Phytochemical profiling was performed using thin layer chromatography (TLC), and antimicrobial activity was assessed via TLC-bioautography against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans. The results revealed the presence of phenolic and terpenoid compounds, with antibacterial activity observed only against E. coli. No inhibition was detected against S. aureus or C. albicans. The study highlights the selective antimicrobial potential of geothermal plant extracts and underscores the relevance of bioautography as a rapid screening tool. While preliminary, these findings support further investigation into geothermal flora as a source of antibacterial compounds and call for advanced studies to isolate active constituents and explore their mechanisms of action.

Abstract

Cocoa fruit (Theobroma cacao) is one of Indonesia's most important commodities and is widely used as a raw material in various industries. Until now, cocoa fruit has primarily been used for its seeds, while its skin has not been widely explored. This study aims to formulate a peel-off mask from cacao husk and determine its antioxidant activity. The antioxidant test method used was the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay. Analysis results showed that the ethyl acetate fraction contained secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, tannins, and steroids. However, the peel-off mask formulation made with a combination of the ethyl acetate fraction of cocoa husk and polyvinyl alcohol was unstable due to changes in its characteristics during storage. Nevertheless, the resulting peel-off mask exhibited relatively strong antioxidant activity, with IC₅₀ values of 6.819 ppm for the ethyl acetate fraction and 11.596 ppm for the mask. These results suggest that cocoa husk contains bioactive compounds that support strong antioxidant activity. Therefore, cocoa husk has great potential as an active ingredient in cosmetic formulations. However, further formula optimization is needed to improve the formulation's stability while maintaining optimal antioxidant activity.
