Abstract

Penelitian berjudul Analisis kebutuhan pengembangan instrumen penilaian sikap jujur siswa SMA pada pelajaran Akhlak bertujuan menganalisa kebutuhan SMA Plus Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pertama peneliti melakukan observasi subjek penelitian, wawancara, analisis model penilaian semester gasal 2022 yang digunakan, analisis muatan materi sikap jujur siswa, memformulasikan kebutuhan-kebutuhan bagi SMA Plus Al-Fatimah. Tahap observasi peneliti melakukan pengamatan subjek penelitian di Bojonegoro. Hasil observasi berupa photo subjek penelitian. Wawancara dilakukan dengan sumber primer, pengasuh pesantren modern Al-Fatimah, kepala sekolah, guru bagian kurikulum, guru bidang studi akhlak. Hasil wawancara kepada Kepala Sekolah dan bagian kurikulum ditemukan penilaian sikap secara umum menggunakan model penilaian jurnal berdasar pengamatan dari setiap guru bidang studi, tanpa adanya instrumen baku. Wawancara dengan guru pelajaran akhlak ditemukan muatan-muatan pelajarannya sangat menekankan pentingnya bersikap jujur terhadap siapapun.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji validitas isi dan reliabilitas instrumen penilaian sikap kepercayaan diri pada siswa. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pengembangan instrumen nontes yang dikemukakan oleh Mardapi. Partisipan adalah dokumen dan seorang ahli. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan 10 pernyataan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dengan skala rating 1 sampai 5. Analisis data menggunakan formula Aiken’s V untuk uji validitas isi dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel dan estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) untuk uji reliabilitas antar rater dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien Aiken’s V pada setiap item pernyataan ≥ 0,3, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa semua aspek valid. Selain itu, estimasi reliabilitas juga menghasilkan nilai intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) sebesar 0,705, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa instrumen ini cukup andal. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen penilaian sikap kepercayaan diri pada siswa memiliki validitas tinggi dan reliabilitas antar rater cukup kuat

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality dan menguji peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar menyajikan gambar proyeksi piktorial 3 dimensi dalam sistem pembelajaran kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain uji true experimental jenis pretest-posttest two group control design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKR 1 untuk kelas control dan X TKR 2 untuk kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing 34 dan 33 siswa. Hasil uji coba ahli media memperoleh presentase kelayakan sebesar 81%, sehingga memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Peningkatan rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,91 untuk kelas control dan 4,30 untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji t untuk nilai post-test thitung = 3,23 > ttabel 1,6692 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002, hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai hasil post-test antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara yang menggunakan media Augmented Reality dengan pembelajaran biasa.

Abstract

Understanding welding defect analysis is a crucial competency in vocational welding education, especially in ensuring the quality and safety of welding outcomes. However, many students struggle to master this material due to the lack of interactive and adaptive learning media. This study aims to develop and implement an electronic module (e-module) to enhance student learning outcomes in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) defect analysis at SMK N 5 Semarang. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. A one-group pre-test post-test design was used, involving 33 Grade XI Mechanical Engineering 2 students. The e-module was validated by experts and classified as "Valid" in terms of content, media, and assessments. Students' average scores increased from 40.61 in the pre-test to 78.64 in the post-test. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and paired t-test showed a significant difference (p < 0.001). The average N-Gain score was 0.63, indicating a moderate improvement. The results confirm that the e-module is both feasible and effective. It enhances students’ conceptual understanding and supports independent, technology-based learning aligned with the characteristics of digital-native learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi keefektifan e-modul interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pokok bahasan komponen mesin frais. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Program Studi Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 5 Semarang. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi soal pretest dan posttest, lembar validasi ahli materi dan media, serta angket respon siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-modul sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan setelah menggunakan e-modul, dibuktikan dengan selisih skor pretest dan posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Rata-rata skor N-Gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang cukup. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul tergolong sangat positif. Oleh karena itu, e-modul dianggap efektif sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang komponen mesin frais. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan e-modul sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam pendidikan kejuruan.

Abstract

This study examines the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model's effectiveness in improving cognitive learning outcomes of vocational education students. Using a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, this study involved 60 tenth-grade mechanical engineering students, divided equally into control and experimental groups. The experimental group received the CTL learning model treatment, while the control group used conventional learning methods. A 20-item multiple-choice test based on Bloom's Taxonomy was used to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes. Instrument validation showed good content validity (Aiken's V=0.714- 1.00) and obtained good reliability results as well (ICC=0.730). The experimental group received a higher average post-test score (89.17) compared to the control group (75.83), with the acquisition of N-Gain values in the experimental group (0.7427) and control group (0.4013), with statistical analysis showing a significant difference (p0.05). These findings indicate that CTL effectively improves basic understanding and critical thinking skills. This study supports the integration of CTL into vocational education systems aligned with international priorities of competency-based learning and workforce readiness. This study provides empirical evidence that CTL can improve learning outcomes and equip students with critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The problem with learning Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection (OHS-EP) and Industrial Work Culture is that most students show a lack of enthusiasm in participating in lessons and struggle to understand the teaching material, particularly in important aspects such as the application of OHS-EP procedures, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and understanding the principles of industrial work culture. This study aims to apply and analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of an Android-based E-Module to improve the cognitive abilities of vocational school students on the subjects of OHS-EP and Industrial Work Culture. The research follows the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). A pre-experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design was employed, comparing an experimental class and a control class consisting of 70 students. The results indicate that the assessment of the material, media, and test instruments for the E-Module is deemed suitable for use. Statistical analysis reveals a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class after the intervention. The results of the N-Gain test show that the experimental class experienced a 53.4% improvement (moderate category), while the control class showed only a 21.5% improvement, indicating enhanced cognitive abilities among the students. This study emphasizes the positive impact of technology on education and reinforces the importance of innovative teaching methods to improve cognitive abilities in students.

Abstract

The availability of innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning media to facilitate the understanding of marketing techniques, air conditioning, and cooling systems, particularly the components of refrigeration installation systems, remains insufficient. It happened since interactive and contextual learning media at school were limited. This study aimed to develop and apply an E-module as an effective learning medium to improve students’ learning achievement in the element of refrigeration installation. The presented research adopted the ADDIE, which comprises five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were XI-grade students from two different vocational schools in Central Java. The participants were divided into an experimental group (utilizing an E-Module) and a control group (receiving conventional instruction). The instruments employed included expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The data showed that the E-module was very feasible, with a practical score gained 94% and the N-Gain of the experiment class achieved 0.74 (high level category). Furthermore, the t-test showed a difference between the experimental and control classes. In conclusion, E-module was declared very feasible, practical, and effective enough to be used in vocation learning, especially on improving students’ knowledge in refrigerator installation system of cooling technique and air conditioning system such as sytem component of instalation refigerator, conceptual knowledge (understanding colling and workflow sytem), and procedural knowledge (explaining the steps for installing and maintaining the refrigeration system).

Abstract

Rendahnya capaian pembelajaran peserta didik pada materi bagian-bagian mesin bubut di SMK menjadi permasalahan serius karena kompetensi ini merupakan dasar dalam praktik pemesinan lanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengggunaan multimedia dalam meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran peserta didik pada materi bagian-bagian mesin bubut di SMK Negeri 1 Karangawen Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode true experiment dan desain pretest-posttest control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan, dengan teknik cluster random sampling yang dipilih melalui undian. Kelas XI M2 menjadi kelompok eksperimen menerima pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, sementara kelas M1 menjadi kelompok kontrol menerima pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman setelah proses pembelajaran. Validasi instrumen penelitian mencakup validasi media dan materi oleh ahli, serta analisis statistik berupa uji-t dan N-Gain. Hasil validitas menunjukkan bahwa media dan materi yang digunakan layak dan reliabel, dengan nilai CVR di atas 0,75 dan persentase agreement masing-masing sebesar 97% dan 92%. Hasil analisis posttest menunjukkan rata-rata capaian pembelajaran kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Uji independent sample t-Test mendapatkan hasil t hitung sebesar 2,253 dengan signifikansi 0,028 (p < 0,05) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Analisis N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 62% dengan kategori tinggi dan pada kelas kontrol menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 49% dengan kategori sedang. Dari analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia berbasis PowerPoint efektif dalam meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran peserta didik terhadap materi yang bersifat visual dan kompleks, serta mendukung teori pembelajaran multimedia sebagai pendekatan yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran kejuruan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Android-based learning media on improving the competence of reading external micrometer screw scales at SMK Negeri 1 Karangdadap, Pekalongan Regency. This study used a quasi-experimental two-group pretest-posttest design in two eleventh grade classes of Light Vehicle Engineering. Data were collected through cognitive tests. Media analysis used the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Percent Agreement (PA). Statistical analysis of student learning outcomes used a two-tailed t-test to test pre-test results, while to test post-test results used descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, right-tailed t-test, and N-Gain. The pre-test results showed that the two groups' results did not differ, indicating that their initial abilities were similar. The right-tailed t-test results indicated an increase in learning outcomes after using Android-based learning media. The magnitude of the increase was measured using N-Gain, with the experimental group achieving an N-Gain of 55.49% (moderate) and the control group achieving 22.04% (low). Based on the results of this study, the recommendation that learning using Android-based media is effective in improving learning outcomes.
