Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai peran elit politik lokal dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat dan upaya yang dilakukan elit politik lokal dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan berhasil mewawancarai sebanyak 12 informan. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan Lurah, Ketua RW, Ketua RT, serta masyarakat Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya. Kemudian melalui studi dokumentasi yang berhasil memperoleh foto dokumentasi kegiatan yang dilakukan elit politik lokal dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pada PILKADA 2020. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga peran elit politik lokal dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya yaitu peran sosialisasi, peran fasilitasi dan peran koordinasi. Kemudian bentuk upaya yang dilakukan oleh elit politik lokal dalam menjalankan perannya meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat pada PILKADA 2020 dilakukan dengan cara sebagai berikut: 1) Peran Mediator, bentuk upaya yang dilakukan adalah Pertama, elit politik lokal mendekatkan diri secara informal kepada masyarakat. Kedua, mendatangi rumah warga secara door to door. 2) Peran Fasilitator, bentuk upaya yang dilakukan adalah: Pertama, pihak kelurahan memberikan izin pemasangan spanduk dan poster seputar PILKADA 2020 kepada tim sukses/ pendukung paslon. Kedua, Ketua RT ikut mendampingi KPPS dalam membagikan C6. 3) Peran Koordinator, bentuk upaya yang dilakukan adalah: Pertama, elit politik lokal memantau dan mengawasi pelaksanaan pencoblosan di TPS. Kedua, elit politik lokal memastikan masyarakat sudah menggunakan hak pilihnya pada hari pencoblosan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa dalam penyampaian aspirasi politik melalui aksi demonstrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun teknik dari analisis data yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pengumpulan data, menggunakan google form dan penyebaran kuesioner pada setiap mahasiswa berdasarkan organisasi mahasiswa atau unit kegiatan mahasiswa yang diikuti. Setelah mendapatkan data, kemudian dilakukan coding untuk memberikan kode pada setiap kategori data dalam mempermudah input data menggunakan pengolah data SPSS v.20. Selanjutnya dilakukan tabulasi, untuk mengklasifikasikan data berdasarkan indikator yang menjadi tolak ukur dari tujuan penelitian. Terakhir, dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan dari hasil pengolahan data untuk mendapatkan data yang valid dan kesimpulan yang absah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi mahasiswa dalam penyampaian aspirasi politik melalui aksi demonstrasi, mendapati tingkat partisipasi yang baik. Hal ini dihitung berdasarkan perolehan skor dari jawaban mahasiswa pada kuesioner yang telah dibagikan. Adapun jawaban dari hasil penelitian partisipasi mahasiswa ini diukur berdasarkan indikator bentuk-bentuk partisipasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya sengketa tanah ulayat kaum di Nagari Salido Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian yang peneliti lakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data dan sumber data yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder sedangkan sumbernya yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik membercheck dan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa faktor penyebab terjadinya sengketa tanah ulayat kaum yaitu hak penguasaan rumah dan tanah yang dilakukan sepihak oleh anak pisang, dalam pengelolaan tanah pihak yang mengelola (anak pisang) meminta izin kepada bako untuk tinggal di rumah tersebut dari pada rumah dan tanah habis ditanami tanaman liar. Akan tetapi setelah bertahun-tahun mengelola rumah dan tanah, anak pisang menganggap rumah dan tanah menjadi miliknya. Penyelesaian sengketa tanah ulayat diselesaikan oleh Lembaga Kerapatan Adat Nagari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya mahasiswa perempuan Departemen Ilmu Sosial Politik Universitas Negeri Padang dalam mengantisipasi kekerasan seksual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 74 responden ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket/kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden melalui Google Form dan dokumentasi. Uji Keabsahan data dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya mahasiswa perempuan Departemen Ilmu Sosial Politik sudah cukup maksimal dalam mengantisipasi kekerasan seksual hal ini dapat dilihat dari upaya sebagai pribadi mahasiswa perempuan selalu menjaga cara berpakaian, selalu menjaga bahasa tubuh dan menjaga/membatasi hubungan dengan mahasiswa dan dosen laki-laki baik dalam situasi dan kondisi apapun.

Abstract

The paper aims to develop an Integrated Anti-Corruption Education Comic Module and to find out the effectiveness of the semi-comic integrated anti-corruption education module in Civics learning for class VII students at SMPN 19 Kerinci. This type of research is Research and Development. The population in this study were all students of class VII at SMP Negeri 19 Kerinci. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The product will be validated by experts and tested on class VII students at SMP Negeri 19 Kerinci. Qualitative data were obtained through observation, written responses, and suggestions, while quantitative data were obtained from questionnaires and tests. The practicality of the module is determined based on the response of the teacher and students. Based on considerations consisting of three students who have high, medium, and low abilities (individual evaluation) and one class of students in class VII SMP Negeri 19 Kerinci (large scale trial). Data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and question sheets. The results showed that the results of the validity of media experts were 93%, material experts 91%, and linguists 90%, with very valid categories. As for the practicality test, with an average of 91.5 in the very practical category. For effectiveness, the data source is obtained from the learning outcomes of students before and after using the semi-comic module. The pre-test results obtained an average of 46, and during the post-test, it increased to 94. The results of this research and development can conclude that the use of the module semi-comic anti-corruption education integrated into PPKN learning for class VII students at SMP Negeri 19 Kerinci is appropriate.

Abstract

The school has an education system designed to suit the needs of the times, one of which is character education, in character education there is the value of disciplined character. Students need to have a disciplined character so that positive values emerge in their daily activities This research aims to describe the role of teachers in forming students ' environmentally caring character and discipline through themes. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. At Seluan Island 1 Middle School. From the research results, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in forming disciplined character through environmental care activities at Seluan Island 1 Middle School, there are regular face-to-face meetings from 14.00 to 17.00, through environmental care activities carried out with a block model, namely by motivating continuously, then a regular model, namely, Saturday and Sunday Camps, Routine Training, Nature Exploration, and Ramu, Raft and Terap Inauguration so that it can transform students' disciplined attitudes through several physical, mental and skills activities through activities which were at the Saturday and Sunday camp held at SMP Negeri 1 Seluan Island. Because these activities can provide students with provisions ranging from knowledge to skills to shape their mental and character.

Abstract

Indigenous communities such as the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in South Sumatra have historically viewed formal education as irrelevant or even threatening to their cultural identity. This study investigates how non-formal, culturally responsive education—delivered through a "floating nature school"—can transform such perceptions. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using purposive sampling to select participants from the floating nature school in Muara Medak. Data were gathered through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with students and teachers, and supporting documentation. Triangulation was used to ensure the validity of findings. The study reveals a gradual shift in SAD students’ mindsets from a fixed to a growth orientation. Initially, education was seen as unnecessary for forest-based life. However, the school’s culturally adapted curriculum—integrating local knowledge, literacy, hygiene, and life skills—helped reframe education as valuable and empowering. Students began to demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, improved self-confidence, and aspirations for future careers. Independence in daily decision-making and personal responsibility also increased. Despite structural limitations and occasional irregular attendance, the floating nature school serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity. It successfully aligns educational content with SAD cultural values, fostering both skill development and cultural resilience. Contextualized, community-based education can significantly reshape Indigenous mindsets toward schooling, positioning education not as a threat, but as a tool for self-determination and improved quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of religious instructors in integrating science to build understanding and tolerance in realizing the harmonization of multi-religious communities in Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations. The results showed that religious educators act as communicators, motivators and role models in educating the community about the importance of tolerance and mutual respect. They also apply a science-based approach in the extension program to improve people's understanding of diversity. The main conclusion of this study is that the integration of science in religious counseling can strengthen interfaith relations and create a harmonious environment in the midst of diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of youth organizations in increasing youth social awareness in Sei Kandis Village and identify science innovations applied to support sustainable development. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with informants determined by purposive sampling. The results showed that Karang Taruna plays an important role in increasing social awareness through science innovation-based programs, such as environmentally friendly technology training. Factors that influence youth social awareness include internal factors, such as enthusiasm and commitment, and external factors, such as adequate facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion of this study is that the application of science innovation in karang taruna programs can increase youth participation in social activities and support sustainable development in the village.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of science and technology in bullying behavior that occurs through WhatsApp groups among students of Al Ma'sum Private Junior High School, Langkat Regency. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that common forms of bullying include verbal bullying, cyberbullying, and social exclusion, which are triggered by factors such as lack of empathy, peer pressure, and the influence of negative content on social media. This study recommends science-based prevention strategies, including anti-bullying education, awareness campaigns, and active parental involvement, to reduce bullying behavior in school settings. The findings provide important insights into the dynamics of bullying in the digital age and emphasize the need for a more systematic approach to tackling it.
