Abstract

The low level of digital literacy in Indonesia needs to be considered by all educational institutions, especially teachers, so that they can intelligently introduce Google-based digital literacy to students. The purpose of this study is to find out the use of google application-based learning media to increase digital literacy. This study uses a descriptive descriptive research approach. The informants in this study were school principals, teachers and students from four schools. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model consisting of reduction data, presentation data and verification data. To validate the data using source triangulation. The results of the study show that teachers have driven digital literacy by utilizing Google media, namely Google search. Google search media used by teachers is used to find information, material and news that students can understand so that students are used to being able to choose information obtained by elementary school students and information that elementary school-age children cannot know. The teacher also provides videos, both videos downloaded from Google search, namely YouTube and Tik Tok which are used by the teacher, besides that they also use PowerPoint to display material or information.

Abstract

Children with special needs (ABK) are children who must receive special treatment, not least in terms of education. Children with special needs have the same right to education. To facilitate educational needs, inclusive schools were created; one of the schools that facilitate this in the Kartasura sub-district is MI Muhammadiyah PK Kartasura, where in its implementation, there is one special teacher who accompanies it, called a shadow teacher. The problem that exists in this inclusive school is that the pull-out class learning needs to be optimized, and the use of available learning media resources needs to be optimized. This research aims to find out 1) the characteristics of children with special needs, 2) the role of shadow teachers for children with special needs, and 3) the optimization strategy used by the pull-out class for children with special needs at MIM PK Kartasura. The method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive review. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research is a case study research that analyzes the subjects and objects that exist more deeply and then concludes. This research uses a data validity test and a data analysis test. The results showed that 1) there are 12 categories of children with disabilities in MIM PK Kartasura, 2) the role of the shadow teacher in the pull-out class has been running well thanks to the cooperation between the shadow teacher and the children with disabilities, 3) the strategy applied to optimize the pull-out class by using a differentiation approach, the shadow teacher monitors the child's progress regularly to find out the child's development, and is supported by providing continuous training to the shadow teacher.

Abstract

Inclusive education allows learner children with special needs to obtain equal education in a public school environment. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in regular classes in guiding children who face learning difficulties as slow learners. The type of research is descriptive qualitative, with participants consisting of class teachers, subject teachers, and slow-learner children. Data analysis methods are used through interviews, observation, and documentation. Validity of information through source triangulation techniques. Data analysis involves collecting information, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings from this research are that educators in the classroom have four core roles in the teaching and learning process, namely as demonstrators, class managers, mediators and facilitators, and evaluators. These four functions have close reciprocity in achieving optimal learning achievement. However, teachers also need help with the learning process, including slow-learning students who experience obstacles in absorbing lesson material, communication difficulties, low concentration, difficulty completing assignments, or delays in submission. This research concludes that educators have four leading roles in optimizing learning effectiveness. This research implies that teachers can perform well in the learning process.

Abstract

Teachers are highly recommended to carry out interactive and fun learning, delivering boring material will make the teaching and learning process difficult for students to understand, so that the impact on mathematics learning outcomes will be lower. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the song creation-based jarimatika method to increase students' motivation for multiplication counting operations. This research is a quantitative type of research with an experimental design. The subjects of this study were 4th grade students in elementary schools. Methods of collecting research data with questionnaires and tests. The research instrument is a questionnaire with questions for learning motivation variables. Data analyses consist of descriptive analysis and comparative analysis. The results showed that after using the creative song-based jarimatika method on the motivation to learn multiplication counting operations, the experimental class students' learning motivation increased by an average of 24, while the increase in the control class was 28. Comparative analysis resulted that the use of the song creation-based jarimatika method on the motivation to learn arithmetic operations effective multiplication. Comparative analysis of sig. 2-tailed control and experimental class 0.151 is not significant. Sig 2-tailed before treatment in the experimental class and the control class 0.035. Sig. 2-tailed learning motivation before and before the control class 0.000. The difference in motivation between the control and experimental classes is sig. 2-tail 0.047. It can conclude that the song-based jarimatika method of creation on the motivation to learn multiplication arithmetic operations is effective in increasing motivation for multiplication operations.

Abstract

AbstrakKeterlibatan siswa Sekolah Dasar di dalam proses pembelajaran masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan. Salah satunya adalah karena guru masih cenderung menjadi pusat atau aktor utama. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sikap percarya diri peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik materi energi melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 17 siswa Sekolah Dasar yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes, dimana data yang diperoleh dianalisa secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi, sikap percaya diri dan aktif di dalam proses pembelajaran.AbstractThe involvement of elementary school students in the learning process still faces various problems. One of them is because the teacher still tends to be the center or the main actor. This classroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes and students' self-confidence in the thematic learning of energy materials through the application of problem-based learning strategies. The participants of this study were 17 elementary school students consisting of 6 boys and 11 girls. This classroom action research was carried out in two learning cycles. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests, where the data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that problem-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in terms of energy, self-confidence and activeness in the learning process.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning can leverage advancements in science and technology. The quality of learning by utilizing technological advancements can help educators choose effective teaching strategies. The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) the implementation of Quizizz paper mode in student learning evaluation, (2) the challenges faced by teachers and students in the implementation of Quizizz paper mode in learning evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The research data sources were obtained using primary data, namely from 10 fifth-grade students and 1 teacher as the fifth-grade teacher at SD N Turunan Andong. This research was conducted from December 2024.The research results show that: (1) the implementation of Quizizz paper mode in learning evaluation helps teachers to increase student learning enthusiasm, thereby influencing their learning outcomes, (2) the challenges of using Quizizz paper mode can be overcome by teachers and students without affecting the ongoing learning, so the learning conditions remain conducive.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that is considered difficult and less attractive, which has an impact on students' low understanding of concepts. One of the obstacles in learning is the limitation of technology, especially the unavailability of adequate computer equipment in the classroom. This condition hinders the application of interactive learning media that can increase student interest and understanding. This study aims to analyze the effect of gamification strategy using Kahoot technology on improving mathematics understanding of grade 3 elementary school students. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach, comparing two classes: an experimental group using Kahoot and a control group using conventional learning methods. The research was conducted in grade 3 of MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan. Data analysis included normality test, Wilcoxon test, and N-gain test. The results showed the average post-test score of the control class was 74.73 and the experimental class was 82.10. The findings show that gamification strategy using Kahoot has a positive and significant effect on improving students' math comprehension.

Abstract

Education is actually an effort made by teachers to provide students to appreciate good values, and be able to apply them. Character education must be imparted from a young age, so that it develops itself will be a shared responsibility, both from parents in a home, teachers in schools and communities in the general environment. The purpose of this study is to determine how the introduction of full-day education shapes the character of Pancasila students in elementary school. Interviews, observation, and documentation are the strategies used to acquire data. The data validity test employs source and method triangulation approaches. The data analysis strategies employed in this study included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drafting. The results of the research conducted, namely the implementation of full day school for the formation of the student profile character of Pancasila at SDIT Al Kautsar Kebonduren obtained is starting from implementing character building and developing the value of the student profile of Pancasila in practical activities and applying directly.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture has made many independent curriculum modifications that impact teaching methodology. One is in the context of science and social studies, which are combined into one unified whole. Therefore, teachers must implement learning innovations that combine social and scientific literacy as one of the basic activities for students to become more familiar with integrating science and social before science content. This research examines integrating scientific literacy and social literacy competencies through a project program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools. With a combination of field and literature studies, this research uses a qualitative methodology. With the subject of research, teachers, students, and principals. How to collect data through observation, documentation, and interviews. By using several sources, multiple method triangulation, and data analysis at the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, the accuracy of the data was tested. The study results show that integrating scientific literacy and social literacy through project activities to increase students' Pancasila profiles can run well. In addition, integrating scientific literacy and social literacy can achieve the goal of project implementation, which is a form of adaptation activity for students before entering science and social studies content in an independent curriculum.

Abstract

Based on the initial observations that have been carried out, problems were found in the form of low levels of discipline and student learning outcomes before integrating project-based learning. The purpose of the research action was carried out as an effort to improve the attitude of discipline and learning outcomes of mathematics on the material of blocks and cubes in grade IV students of SD Negeri Karangasem 4, Surakarta, totaling 26. The research was conducted over two cycles through a series of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation and written tests. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that the overall level of discipline of students showed a percentage of 58%, after the first cycle was carried out there was an increase in the rate of 77%, then the second cycle again showed an increase in the percentage of 92%. The learning outcomes of students before the cycle were carried out by 23%, increased in the first cycle by 62%, and in the second cycle again increased to 92%. The average overall score of students was 85 with a completion percentage of 92% as many as 24 students completed the KKTP. The data shows that the implementation of project-based learning can improve discipline and learning outcomes of students.
