Abstract

This study aims to describe learning difficulties, causal factors, and efforts to overcome learning difficulties experienced by students in understanding the legend text through the online model. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model with three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Data validity test used is triangulation of data sources and triangulation of techniques. The conclusion of this research is that it is difficult to identify the main idea of the reading, it is difficult to determine the type of story, it is difficult to determine the relationship between the story and real life, it is difficult to determine the intrinsic element of the reading. The factors that cause it come from students (internal) and outside students (external). The internal factors are that students are lazy and have no interest in learning, give up easily, are tired, and have no confidence. While the external factors are following friends, unstable network, lack of attention, and economic conditions. The efforts made were the material provided to be concise and interesting, giving a few assignments, opening a question and answer session to students, and the school providing home visit facilities for underprivileged students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan berbahasa, nilai pendidikan karakter, dan relevansi naskah sandiwara radio Duroko Sinandi terhadap materi ajar menelaah naskah sandiwara kelas IX SMP. Desain penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis analisis isi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitiatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) temuan kesantunan berbahasa: (a) prinsip kebijaksanaan sebanyak tiga tuturan; (b) prinsip formalitas-tepa selira sebanyak enam tuturan; (c) prinsip penghargaan dan kerendahan hati-andhap asor sebanyak lima tuturan; dan (d) prinsip ketidaklangsungan sebanyak satu tuturan. (2) temuan jenis nilai pendidikan karakter: (a) nilai rasa ingin tahu sebanyak sembilan belas tuturan; (b) nilai tanggung jawab sebanyak empat tuturan; (c) nilai jujur sebanyak empat tuturan; (d) nilai kerja keras sebanyak dua tuturan; (e) nilai toleransi sebanyak satu tuturan; (f) nilai peduli sosial sebanyak lima tuturan; (g) nilai cinta damai sebanyak dua tuturan. (3) Hasil analisis kesantunan berbahasa dan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah sandiwara radio Duroko Sinandi yang relevan untuk digunakan sebagai referensi materi ajar dalam pembelajaran menelaah naskah sandiwara kelas IX SMP.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the implementation of the drill and practice method to train students' communication in Javanese on social media. The method used is drill and practice. The results of the service show that there are students who do not dare to use Javanese appropriately when communicating in the real world and the virtual world. Some students feel hesitant when asking or answering using Javanese. The service team then interacted with the students to practice using the drill and practice method. Students are invited to interact in groups by practicing orally and in writing using simple Javanese words. Through the drill and practice method, they are able to practice Javanese conversation and writing according to uploads well and correctly based on the person they are communicating with. Students are able to write Javanese sentences in the form of congratulations, greetings, condolences, thank you which are often used on their social media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi unsur struktural, tanggapan dan pendapat pembaca, serta kesesuaian cerita Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga  sebagai bahan ajar cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan resepsi sastra. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif dengan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Adapun uji validitas data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu Cerita rakyat Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga  mengandung unsur struktural yaitu tema yang digunakan adalah mengenai perjuangan Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga. Menggunakan alur maju dan terdapat 3 latar yakni latar tempat, waktu, dan sosial. Tokoh utamanya yaitu Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga. Adapun amanatnya adalah jadilah seseorang yang tidak sombong. Tanggapan para pembaca mengenai cerita tersebut yaitu ceritanya sangat menarik karena memiliki unsur sejarah, silsilah leluhur, dan perjuangan hidup dari Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga. Berdasarkan relevansi cerita rakyat Ki Ageng Kebo Kenanga  di Desa Pengging sebagai materi ajar di SMA, cerita rakyat ini sangat cocok untuk dijadikan materi ajar di SMA dan sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar yang ada.

Abstract

Ritual keagamaan terdapat nilai-nilai positif yang bisa dijadikan pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, akan tetapi jarang disampaikan dalam pembelajaran. Penyampaian materi folklor hanya terpaku pada materi yang sudah ada di dalam buku ajar, tanpa ada reverensi yang lain. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu menganalisis nilai kearifan lokal dan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam ritual di Astana Srandil Ponorogo serta relevansinya sebagai materi ajar di SMP.  Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi peristiwa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa informan, tempat penelitian, peristiwa, dan dokumen. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: (1) Astana Srandil Ponorogo dibangun pada tahun 1776 dari keinginan RM. Tumenggung Sumonegoro, permintaan tersebut disetujui oleh Residen di Madiun dan Kraton Solo Hadiningrat, setelah tahun tersebut baru adanya ritual dari keluarga serta masyarakat dan menjadi wisata ziarah oleh masyarakat desa Srandil serta santri dari salah satu pondok pesantren di Ponorogo pada tahun 2005; (2) Alur dari prosesi ritual di Astana Srandil Ponorogo ada tiga, yaitu izin juru kunci, bersuci, dan berdoa; (3) Kearifan lokal abstrak yang terdapat dalam ritual di Astana Srandil Ponorogo yaitu sikap dan perilaku manusia dengan Tuhan, pengendalian diri dengan orang lain, cara bergaul dan berkomunikasi dengan masyarakar, dan sikap dan perilaku terhadap lingkungan, sedangkan kearifan lokal konkret yaitu ubarampe; (4) Nilai pendidikan karakter dalam ritual di Astana Srandil Ponorogo yaitu  nilai religius, nilai jujur, nilai toleransi, dan nilai cinta tanah air. Dari keempat nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut yang lebih dominan adalah nilai religius; dan (5) Ritual di Astana Srandil Ponorogo relevan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMP karena sesuai dengan silabus, serta cerita ritual tersebut dapat menambah wawasan tentang keanekaragaman budaya Jawa dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kelayakan isi, (2) kelayakan penyajian, dan (3) kelayakan bahasa buku teks Mumpuni Basa Jawi kurikulum 2013 kelas X SMA/MA/SMALB/SMK/MAK terbitan Tiga Serangkai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis isi (content analysis) yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kelayakan isi pada buku teks tersebut masih terdapat kekurangan pada kedalaman materi, pemilihan wacana, teks, gambar, dan ilustrasi, dan pelatihan, penugasan, dan penilaian, sehingga buku termasuk dalam kategori cukup layak dan memperoleh presentase sebesar 71% (2) kelayakan penyajian sudah baik disajikan pada buku tersebut, kekurangan pada buku yaitu tidak adanya peta konsep pada tiap wulangan dan penulisan daftar pustaka, sehingga buku termasuk dalam kategori layak dan memperoleh presentase sebesar 85% (3) kelayakan bahasa masih terdapat kekurangan pada poin kesesuaian buku teks dengan tingkat perkembangan intelektual peserta didik, serta keterbacaan pesan baik dari segi penulisan, aksara Jawa, dan ragam bahasa, sehingga buku teks termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup layak dan memperoleh presentase sebesar 72%. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan disarankan untuk guru agar lebih selektif dalam pemilihan buku teks serta siswa agar lebih cermat dan kritis mempelajari materi dalam buku teks.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to increase the quality of learning process in writing paragraph description diversion of krama and students’ paragraph description diversion of krama writing skill result through implementing modeling method and tematical images to X Social Science 2 students of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with 2 cycles. Each cycle contains of 4 stages, namely; action plan, conduct action, observation and interpretation, and also analysis and reflection. Subject of this research are the students of X Social Science 2 of SMA N 3 Boyolali which contains of 36 students. The data collection techiques are observation, interview, and test. Validity data test use triangulation method and triangulation data souce. Data analysis techniques are descriptiv comparative and critical analysis. The result of this research indicate that the implementation of make a match model and macromedia unity can increase the quality of  learning process in writing paragraph description  and students’ paragraph description  writing skill result to X Social Science 2 students of SMA N 3 Boyolali. The result can be proven since preaction until cycle 2 in preaction, the average of learning qualiti is about 71. Then in cycle I learning quality becomes 75, and in the end of cycle II it increase becomes 80 or in other words it is a good category. Quality of students writing wangsalan skill also indicate an improve ment, in preaction students who get minimum standard score is about 44,44%, then in cycle I it becomes 77,78% and in the end of cycle 2 becomes 89%.

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with 2 cycles. Each cycle contains of 4 stages, namely ; action plan, conduct action, observation and interpretation, and also analysis and reflection. Subject of this research are the students of XI science 3 of SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali which contains of 36 students. The data collection techiques are observation, interview, and test. Validity data test use triangulation method and triangulation data souce. Data analysis techniques are descriptive comparative and critical analysis. The result of this research indicate that the implementation of make a match model and macromedia unity can increase the quality of learning process in writing wangsalan and students’ wangsalan writing skill result to XI science 3 students of SMA N 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The result can be proven since preaction until cycle 2 in preaction, the average of learning qualiti is about 2,25. Then in cycle I learning quality becomes 2,56, and in the end of cycle II it increase becomes 3,29 or in other words it is a good category. Quality of students writing wangsalan skill also indicate an improvement, in preaction students who get minimum standard score is about 11,1%, then in cycle I it becomes 55,56% and in the end of cycle 2 becomes 77,78%.

Abstract

This research is based on language learning in understanding a discourse. Morphological analysis and lexical meaning can help students and educators more easily understand discourse, especially descriptive texts of cultural events. Learning descriptive text of cultural events is contained in Basic Competencies, in Grade VII, Junior High School in 2013 curriculum, Central Java Province. In addition, it can enrich new vocabulary, especially in Javanese. Researchers have brought up the naming of umbul  in Klaten Regency with the aim of introducing potential to the younger generation by learning the Javanese language in particular. The name of the umbul  or feather is also suitable as a research object with a study of morphology and lexical meaning. The morphological processes found include: zero derivation, application, abbreviation, composition. The lexical meanings found are described according to the origin of the name umbul  or feathers, which are divided into the following categories: tree names, animal names, leaf names, figures/figures, object names, genus, hamlet name, village name, building, geographical situation, character based on of location near another building, verb, form. The object retrieval technique is targeted sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using face-to-face or fishing techniques, recording techniques, note-taking techniques. The validity test used theoretical triangulation and data source triangulation from both informants and external supporting data. Data analysis procedures using fixed methods of comparison include: data reduction. Categorization, synthesis, formulation of working hypotheses. The results of the study are relevant for learning descriptive texts of cultural events KD 3.1 understands the content of descriptive texts about cultural events and KD 4.1 Responds to the content of descriptive texts about cultural events, in addition, it can promote the character of students responsible for the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were: (1) To determine the effect of learning difficulties in Javanese language on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali simultaneously. (2) To determine the effect of learning difficulties in Javanese on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali partially. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The population from this research is all students of class VIII SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. Samples were taken using probability sampling techniques by means of simple random sampling. The amount of samples in this research were 119 respondents. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The analysis prerequisite tests used in this research including: normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a significant positive influence between the variables of learning difficulties in Javanese which consist of physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. (2) Based on the results of the analysis, simultaneously the physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables have a significant effect on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. (3) Based on the results of the analysis, partially the physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables have a significant effect on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali.(4) The result of the regression line equation states that physiological variables have a coefficient of 0.549, psychological variables have a coefficient of 0.245, family variables have a coefficient of 0.257, community variables have a coefficient of 0.289 and school environment variables have a coefficient of 0.206. Therefore, physiological variables have the greatest contribution to learn outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali.(5) The magnitude of the influence of physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables as seen from the Adjusted R square is 0.55.5. This means that 55.5% of learning outcomes can be explained by these six variables. While the rest (100% - 55.5% = 44.5%) is explained by other variables.
