Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kebiasaan Makan Sayur Buah dan Kualitas Tidur Terhadap Siklus Menstruasi Pada Remaja Putri di SMP Pondok Modern Selamat Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan desain cross-sectional yang dilakukan selama enam bulan di SMP Pondok Modern Selamat Kendal. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari remaja putri kelas VII, VIII, dan IX dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 subjek. Tekniik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS versi 20, meliputi analisis univariat untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik variabel penelitian dan analisis bivariat untuk menguji hubungan antara kebiasaan makan, kualitas tidur, dan siklus menstruasi menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa mayoritas siswi SMP Pondok Modern Selamat Kendal memiliki kebiasaan makan sayur yang baik, dengan 113 siswi (91,1%) sering mengonsumsi sayur, sementara 11 siswi (8,9%) jarang mengonsumsinya. Untuk kebiasaan makan buah, 83 siswi (66,9%) sering mengonsumsi buah, sedangkan 41 siswi (33,1%) jarang melakukannya. Dalam hal kualitas tidur, sebagian besar siswi, yaitu 108 siswi (87,1%), memiliki kualitas tidur yang buruk, dan hanya 16 siswi (12,9%) yang memiliki kualitas tidur baik. Dari segi siklus menstruasi, 87 siswi (70,2%) memiliki siklus yang normal, sementara 37 siswi (29,8%) memiliki siklus yang tidak normal. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara konsumsi sayur dan siklus menstruasi (P-Value 0,003), serta antara konsumsi buah dan siklus menstruasi (P-Value 0,002). Namun, kualitas tidur tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan dengan siklus menstruasi (P-Value 0,145).

Abstract

Based on the results obtained, the prevalence of stunting in Mayang Village, Gatak District is included in the high category. The incidence of stunting in Mayang Village has several causative factors, one of which is the lack of knowledge of the mother in providing proper solids according to the age of the toddler. This service aims to increase knowledge for mothers of toddlers in Mayang Village regarding how to process Infant and Child Feeding (IYCF) appropriately and according to the age of the toddler. This activity is divided into four stages, namely: (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) evaluation stage, and (4) program sustainability. In measuring indicators of success in this activity, a pre test and post test were carried out which were attended by 22 people. Based on the average pre-test results, a score of 80.45 was obtained and the average post-test result was 94.55. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that this activity succeeded in increasing the participants' knowledge with an average difference between the pre-test and post-test of 14.1. The advice that can be given is that the mothers of toddlers who participate in this counseling activity can practice and apply the method of processing MPASI according to the age of their children.

Abstract

Abstract: Counseling is a process of interaction between a counselor and a client that aims to help the client achieve better self-understanding, solve problems, and make informed decisions. In counseling practice, it is important for counselors to have cultural sensitivity in order to understand and appreciate clients' cultural diversity. This is especially important for novice counselors who are just starting their counseling practice. This study aims to increase the understanding for novice counselors of the importance of cultural sensitivity of counselees with diverse cultural backgrounds of counselees. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature study, reviewing 20 articles published within the last 5 to 10 years. It resulted in 5 key articles that affirmed the importance of cultural awareness and counselor competency development in cross-cultural counseling. The results showed several important points related to the urgency of increasing cultural sensitivity for novice counselors 1) Counselor Cultural Awareness 2) Cultural Knowledge and Skills 3) Multicultural Counseling Knowledge 4) Multicultural Counseling Competence (MCC)

Abstract

Budaya adalah pikiran adat istiadat, sesuatu yang sudah berkembang sudah menjadi kebiasaan yang sukar diubah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Tingkat kesadaran budaya konselor. Subjek penelitian sejumla 62 peserta didik yang diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling. Jenis penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif pendekatan survey. Instrumen penelitian mempergunakan angket kesadaran budaya berdasarkan teori sue&sue Teknik analisis data mempergunakan analisis statistik deskriptif Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil Tingkat Kesadaran Budaya Konselor dengan kategori Rendah sebesar 65% dan kategori sedang sebesar 35%. Jadi kesadaran budaya konselor menurut perspektif siswa masih rendah. Sehingga perlu adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah dalam membuat pelatihan untuk dapat membuat Guru Bk lebih profesional.

Abstract

Empathy and respect are important skills that counselors must have. However, there is not much research that reveals the level of both in a counselor. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of empathy and respect used by counselors in building relationships between counselors and counselees. The method used is quantitative through descriptive design and a survey approach with a subject of 99 students and using an empathy and respect questionnaire according to Carkhuff's theoretical construct. This research uses data analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics. The research results show the counselor's level of empathy based on the students' perspective with the percentage results in the very high category with a score of 52%. Meanwhile, respect is in the very high category with a score of 48%. Thus, it can be concluded that the level of empathy and respect for counselors is in the very high category.

Abstract

Undernutrition in toddlers remains a pressing issue in improving public health. One potential and contextually relevant intervention is the provision of supplementary feeding (PMT) using locally sourced foods. This case study aimed to evaluate changes in the nutritional status of an undernourished toddler following a 14-day intervention with local food-based PMT. The study involved a 15-month-old toddler diagnosed with underweight and stunting. The intervention consisted of high-energy and high-protein snacks made from local ingredients, provided twice daily. Monitoring was conducted on body weight and height on day 0, day 7, and day 14. In addition, nutrition education and counseling were given to the toddler's parents. The results showed an increase in body weight from 6.6 kg to 6.95 kg, while height remained unchanged at 69 cm. The weight gain reflects a positive response to the short-term local PMT intervention. Conversely, the static height suggests that longer intervention periods are needed to support improvements in linear growth. Parental education played an important role in enhancing understanding of balanced nutrition practices. This study highlights the importance of comprehensive nutritional interventions that go beyond food provision, integrating family education and environmental improvements to achieve sustainable and optimal outcomes.
