Abstract

The course of economic development has led to various changes, especially in the structure of the economy. Changes in the economic structure are one of the characteristics. This study wants to show the potential of several sectors in Mandailing Natal Regency with Location Quotion analysis, Klassen Typology analysis and Shift share analysis. The results of the study show that there are 2 economic sectors in Mandailing Natal Regency which are the base (leading) sectors. From the results of the LQ analysis, it was obtained that Government Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security with an LQ value of 2.05 while the base sector with the lowest LQ score (1.95) was Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. From the results of the Klassen Typology analysis it was identified that there were 2 sectors belonging to the advanced and fast-growing sectors (Quadrant I), six sectors included in the growing sector category (Quadrant II), four sectors included in the advanced but depressed sector category (Quadrant III), and 5 sectors fall into the category of relatively underdeveloped sectors (Quadrant IV). Meanwhile, from the calculation results of the Shift Share analysis, it is known that information and communication have the greatest competitiveness

Abstract

AbstractThe emergence of a pandemic caused a lot of difficulties faced by the community to survive. This caused the government to intervene and provide various assistance to the community. However, there are often problems in the process of providing this assistance. This study aims to evaluate social assistance provided by the government to the community. This research will be conducted utilizing a qualitative methodology. This study utilized secondary data acquired from still-relevant research or previous investigations. This study found that there was the use of incomplete data and confusing regulations, so social assistance was abused. Some people have jobs and decide to register on the pre-employment card. Then some people are economically capable but do not report themselves so that later they can still get social assistance from the government again.Keywords: Social Assistance, Abuse, Community, Government. AbstrakMunculnya pandemi menyebabkan banyak kesulitan yang dihadapi masyarakat untuk bertahan hidup. Hal ini menyebabkan pemerintah turun tangan dan memberikan berbagai bantuan kepada masyarakat. Namun, seringkali ada kendala dalam proses pemberian bantuan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bantuan sosial yang diberikan oleh pemerintah kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang masih relevan atau penyelidikan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya penggunaan data yang tidak lengkap dan peraturan yang membingungkan sehingga bansos disalahgunakan. Beberapa orang memiliki pekerjaan dan memutuskan untuk mendaftar di kartu prakerja. Kemudian sebagian masyarakat yang mampu secara ekonomi tetapi tidak melapor agar nantinya masih bisa mendapatkan bantuan sosial dari pemerintah lagi.Kata kunci: Bansos, Penyalahgunaan, Masyarakat, Pemerintah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of the variables of economic growth, unemployment rate, wages and labor on poverty in the Pati Ex-Resident which consists of 6 regencies in 2017-2021. Poverty as the dependent variable, and economic growth, unemployment, wages and labor as independent variables. The analytical technique used is panel data regression analysis using the Eviews 10 program computer. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for a period of 5 years starting from 2017-2021 and the National Journal as a supporter. This research is expected to be a consideration for policy making for the central government, especially local governments in tackling poverty levels so that the economy progresses.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze how much influence Education, Economic Growth, Labor, District/City Minimum Wages have on Poverty in Surakarta Residency in 2017-2021. Poverty as a related variable, while education, economic growth, labor and district/city minimum wages are independent variables. The analytical technique used is panel data regression analysis using the Eviews 10 program computer. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency for a period of 5 years starting from 2017-2021. This research is expected to be a material consideration for policy making for local governments in the formulation of a policy to reduce poverty.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the diseases that exist in the economy of each country, especially in Indonesia, which is included in the category of developing countries which can still be said to have a fairly high poverty rate. The problem of poverty is a problem that is so complex and always exists in social life that involves aspects of human life, even though its presence is often not realized by the person concerned. This study aims to analyze the effect of Education, Population, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Labor Force on the level of Poverty in Central Java in 2018-2020. The data obtained is from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Java Province. Data were taken from 29 districts and 6 cities in Central Java Province. The analysis tool uses panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the selected panel data regression model. Based on the test results, it was found that the level of significance of Education, Population and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) had an effect on the level of Poverty in Central Java in 2018-2020.

Abstract

This study entitled the effect of education, population, employment and district minimum wages on poverty in Riau Province in 2017-2021. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of the dependent variable on the independent variable. The data analysis method used is panel data using Eviews 8. From the data it can be concluded that the variables of education, population, employment, district minimum wages affect the poverty variable. Partially, the population variable has a positive effect on the poverty variable, and the district minimum wage has a negative effect on poverty.

Abstract

Economic growth is one of the important indicators to measure the level of progress and development in a country. This study aims to determine the effect of Unemployment, Per capita Income, and Human Development Index (IPM) on Economic Growth in Indonesia in 2017-2020. The analytical method used in this regression research is descriptive analysis and panel data analysis using Eviews 10 software, with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with a cross section covering 34 provinces in Indonesia which produces 136 observations, while the time series data starting in 2017-2020. The results showed that the 3 variables tested, Unemployment had a positive and significant effect on economic growth with a probability of 0.0000 < = 0.01, income per capita had a positive and significant effect on economic growth with a probability of 0.0000 < = 0.01, while the index Human Development (IPM) has a negative and significant effect on economic growth with a probability of 0.0542 < = 0.10. The results of the study of the coefficient of determination (R2) also show good results, where 86% of the variation in the growth dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables of Unemployment, Per capita Income and Human Development Index (IPM). While the remaining 13.83% is explained by other variables that are not included in the model.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries that has a major problem, namely the relatively high unemployment rate. This high unemployment rate causes an open unemployment rate. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of population, wages, and the human development index on the open unemployment rate in Central Java Province in 2016-2020. The open unemployment rate is the dependent variable, while the population, wages, and the human development index are independent variables. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency for a period of 5 years starting from 2016-2020 consisting of 35 districts/cities. The analytical technique used is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 9 software.

Abstract

This study analyzed several factors that affect the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. The use of the inflation-currency rate, the availability of money, and the BI rate were all internal factors considered in this study. Meanwhile, the external factors used in this study were international gold and oil prices. The Engle-Granger Error Correction Model was used to analyze time series data in this study. The research used the monthly period started from May 2013 until January 2022. The long-term results of the research variables that could influence the exchange rate, total money supply, world oil prices, and world gold prices were all dependent on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the short-term movement of the ISSI exchange rates were inflation, and the BI rate variables.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPembangunan sektor pariwisata mampu menggerakan pertumbuhan ekonomi serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pariwisata bisa menjadi salah satu yang membangkitkan pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh gross domestic product, nilai tukar, indeks harga konsumen dan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan yaitu data panel series dari tahun 2010 sampai 2020 yang bersumber dari World Bank. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tukar, indeks harga konsumen dan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan berpengaruh terhadap gross domestic product atau gdp. Penelitian juga menemukan indeks harga konsumen dan nilai tukar terbukti mempunyai pengaruh kepada gross domestic product. Sedangkan jumlah wisatawan tidak berpengaruh terhadap gross domestic product.Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan Ekonomi; Pariwisata; Nilai Tukar; Indeks Harga KonsumenABSTRACTThe development of the tourism sector is able to drive economic growth and improve the welfare of the community. Tourism can be the one that generates a country's economic growth. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of gross domestic product, exchange rate, consumer price index and the number of tourist visits. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data used is panel series data from 2010 to 2020 sourced from the World Bank. The results of this study indicate that the exchange rate, consumer price index and the number of tourist visits affect the gross domestic product or gdp. The study also found that the consumer price index and exchange rate proved to have an influence on gross domestic product.
