Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa ( LKS) berbasis POE. Lembar kerja siswa berbasis POE (Predict Observer Explain) merupakan lembar kerja siswa yang menggunakan tiga langkah utama dari metode ilmiah yaitu (1) Prediction merupakan suatu proses membuat dugaan terhadap suatu peristiwa, (2) Observation yaitu melakukan pengamatan apa yang terjadi, siswa diajak untuk melakukan percobaan untuk menguji kebenaran prediksi siswa, dan (3) Explanation yaitu memberikan penjelasan tentang kesesuaian antara tahap observasi dengan hasil eksperimen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan validasi LKS berbasis POE, mendiskripsikan respon, dan mendiskrisikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis POE. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Dari analisis yang di dapat, sebesar 85%Â hasil validasi ahli yang berkategori sangat valid. Sedangkan sebesar 85% hasil validasi pengguna yang berkategori sangat valid. Respon siswa secara keseluruhan sebesar 80% berkategori sangat baik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis secara keseluruhan sebesar 67% berkategori kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa instrumen penilaian proyek berbasis e-portofolio pada pokok bahasan suhu, kalor, dan perpindahannya di SMA. Instrumen penilaian proyek berbasis e-portofolio pada pokok bahasan suhu, kalor dan perpindahan kalor untuk SMA merupakan suatu instrumen penilaian berbentuk website yang dapat diakses guru maupun peserta didik. Instrumen penilaian tersebut dapat menilai aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor peserta didik yang dinilai melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, presentasi dan pelaporan proyek. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi, nilai proyek, dan angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan validasi pengguna, instrumen penilaian mendapat skor 86,00% berada dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil analisis reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,783 yang masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kepraktisan instrumen penilaian proyek berbasis e-portofolio sebesar 82,37% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat .

Abstract

ABSTRAKRoti tawar adalah sumber karbohidrat memiliki umur simpan yang sangat pendek yakni empat sampai enam hari terhitung dari proses masa produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh paparan medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) intensitas 500 µT dan 700 µT selama 60, 90, dan 120 menit terhadap pH roti tawar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Rancang Acak Lengkap (RAL). Ada dua kelompok dalam penelitian ini, yakni kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen dimana kelompok kontrol yang tidak dipapari medan magnet dan kelompok eksperimen diberi paparan medan magnet. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah roti tawar sari roti kupas sebanyak 126 sisir dimana kelompok kontrol sebanyak 18 sisir roti tawar dan kelompok eskperimen sebanyak 108 sisir roti tawar yang dibagi menjadi enam kelompok yang diberi perlakukan berupa paparan medan magnet ELF dengan intensitas 500 µT dan 700 µT selama 60, 90 dan 120 menit. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS 22 dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh paparan medan magnet ELF berpengaruh terhadap perubahan pH pada roti tawar. Dengan memaparkan medan magnet intensitas 500 µT lama paparan 60 menit dan 700 µT lama paparan 60 menit dapat menghambat penurunan pH roti tawar. Kata kunci: Medan Magnet ELF; Roti Tawar; pH. ABSTRACTBread is a source of carbohydrates that has a very short shelf life of four to six days from the production process. This study aims to examine the effect of exposure to an Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magnetic field with an intensity of 500 µT and 700 µT for 60, 90, and 120 minutes on the pH of white bread. This research uses an experimental research type with the research design used is Completely Randomized Design (CRD). There were two groups in this study, namely the control group and the experimental group where the control group was not exposed to a magnetic field and the experimental group was exposed to a magnetic field. The samples used in this study were 126 combs of peeled white bread, where the control group consisted of 18 white bread combs and the experimental group consisted of 108 white bread combs which were divided into six groups which were treated in the form of exposure to the ELF magnetic field with an intensity of 500 µT and 700 µT for 60, 90 and 120 minutes. The data analysis technique was carried out using SPSS 22 with the Kruskal-Wallis test. The results of the study stated that exposure to the ELF magnetic field had an effect on changes in pH in white bread as shown by a graphic diagram. Exposure to a magnetic field intensity of 500 µT with an exposure time of 60 minutes and 700 µT with an exposure duration of 60 minutes can inhibit the decrease in the pH of white bread. Keywords: Magnetic Field; White Bread; pH.

Abstract

Argumentation as the one of important skills must be included in the science learning. With argumentation skills, students can show their opinion include evidence and justification logically. Argumentation is important for students, but it seldom integrate in physic learning  based inquiry. Participation of students who decrease in the learning can influence to argumentation’s ability of students. Physic learning  based inquiry which include argumentation section can grow up the action students to give argumentation. Component of argumentation’s ability are evidence and justification for argument, counter argument, and rebuttal. This research is conduct for three meetings on the fluid static’s chapter in  Senior High School of one Gambiran. Students’ argumentation skills measure from argumentation section and students’ worksheets has consisted component’s of argumentation. Purpose of this research is describe of students’ argumentation skills on physics instruction based inquiry. Result of this research is shown that students’ argumentation skills increase on last meeting of physics instruction. Abstract

Abstraction is the primary key in computational thinking. This study aims to analyze students’ computational thinking skills of abstraction on the concept of kinematics. The data were collected through students’ project documents and interviews. The data is examined using a content analysis approach that emphasizes writing, verbal, or visual communication. The results revealed that students’ abstraction skills were evident in collecting data and analyzing, and recognizing patterns but were less visible in building models or simulations. Abstraction skills can be used as a foundation and framework for viewing a concept in physics not only in mathematics or formulas views but as a data iterative relationship. This research is expected to provide an overview for physics instructors to integrate computational thinking in their learning classroom

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the Physics students' thought patterns concern-ing the greenhouse effect. Descriptive analysis was used, including the set of qualitative data. These data were then interpreted for their idea and content inductively to recognize students' thoughts and models concerning the greenhouse effect. The result confirmed three patterns of the students' thoughts concerning the greenhouse effect (patterns A, B, and C). The model covered different concepts, mechanisms, and processes of the greenhouse effect. The students' knowledge from science teacher explanations and books is not the only learning source concerning the educational environment. The issue and broadcast media frequently carry out confusing the concepts. This research is expected to provide physics teachers critical information to develop appropriate teaching methods and strategies concerning these topics.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 sangat memerlukan keaktifan siswa pada proses pembelajaran, sehingga siswa tidak pasif dan pengetahuan dasar yang dimiliki siswa dapat dikembangkan. Tinggi rendahnya sikap ilmiah akan memengaruhi cara berpikir siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, seperti cara siswa bisa terbuka terhadap opini orang lain, mengatakan sesuatu sesuai fakta, objektif dan menyimpulkan suatu hal dengan pertimbangan yang matang. Oleh karena itu, kreativitas guru dalam merancang ide baru mengenai pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap ilmiah siswa selama pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan STEM pada pembelajaran fisika. Data sikap ilmiah siswa diperoleh dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh observer menggunakan lembar observasi. Sampel peneltian ini adalah 36 siswa kelas X IPA 1 di MAN 2 Jember. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data secara deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata nilai sikap ilmiah siswa di kelas X IPA 1 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan STEM dapat memicu sikap ilmiah siswa mencapai kategori baik.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the relationship between refractive index and light intensity in various fluids. This type of this research was experimental research. The measurement data obtained the refractive index values of various fluids, namely the refractive index of spirit, watered, alcohol, oil, and oil respectively 1. 3066 ± 0. 0053, 1. 319 ± 0. 0056, 1. 3422 ± 0. 0061, 1. 438 ± 0. 0054, 1. 576 ± 0. 0068. The data from the measurement of light intensity in various fluids obtained the valued of the intensity of light that passed through spirit, watered, alcohol, oil, and oil, respectively, namely 1220. 8 ± 3. 72 lux, 1219 ± 3. 9 lux, 1216. 2 ± 3, 77 lux, 1202. 6 ± 3. 88 lux, and 1180. 2 ± 4. 07 lux. The results of this research obtained a valued of r = 1 which indicates that the relationship between the refractive index and light intensity was very strong. The conclusion in this studied was that there was a relationship between refractive index and light intensity. This relationship could been seen in the refractive index, the greater the valued in the fluid would made the transmitted light intensity decrease or inversely proportional. Abstract

AbstractScience learning is expected to be able to deliver students to meet the capabilities in the 21st century. One of the things that must be considered to change individuals who can satisfy global demands is to produce generations who have critical thinking skills that are a logical attitude in examining every belief and assumptions based on the evidence and conclusions caused. Physics lessons are considered difficult because students do not have deep thinking skills in solving physics problems. The open-ended approach provides opportunities for students to gain experience in exploring and solving problems with several techniques. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' critical thinking skills in an open-ended question solution on static fluid material in senior high school. This research is a descriptive research. The research method uses a test. The test instrument uses a descriptive question with an open-ended approach of 5 items and a questionnaire for student self-assessment. The study was conducted in class XI of SMAN 1 Cluring Banyuwangi. The results showed that the level of students' critical thinking skills in the complete of the open-ended question at SMAN 1 Cluring was quite good.Key Word: Critical Thinking Skills, Open-Ended Question, Physics

Abstract

The increase in Indonesia's development activities increases people's consumption of more quality construction materials and is easy to reach in terms of price. Building materials with good quality can improve the quality of building construction. The increasing need of the community for building materials triggered the development of the brick-making industry. Redbrick is an element of building used in building construction made from clay base material with or without other mixed materials. This research is a type of experimental research. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the composition of the addition of corn bark ash and ash corn cob appropriately to produce the quality of bricks with high compressive strength, low water absorption, and large density. Additional materials in this study in the form of corn bark ash and ash corn cob. The quality of red bricks is seen from three aspects, namely compressive strength, water absorption, and density. The largest compressive strength was obtained in the addition of ash corn cob by 2.5% by 37.2 Kg/Cm2 and the compressive strength of 49.5 Kg/Cm2 on the addition of corn skin ash by 2.5%. Water absorption measurement of all types of red bricks the results of the study showed all the results of water absorption is not eligible sni. The highest density was obtained from a mixture of 2.5% ash corn cob material of 17.5 gr/Cm3. the best composition to produce bricks with strong compressive value and high density and have low water absorption is 2.5% addition of ash corn cob and the addition of 2.5% corn skin ash.
