Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of dynamic capabilities erosion on firm’s survival according to consumers’ perspective, using sensing erosion, seizing erosion, and reconfiguring erosion as the independent variables (X) and firm survival as the dependent variable (Y). This research uses quantitative research methods with data processing using SPSS. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online through Google form to 500 student respondents who had visited Matahari Department Store in Indonesia. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique. The questionnaires that qualify to be analyzed are 158 questionnaires. The result of data processing shows that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 40.3%. The results of this study is according to consumers’ perspective, sensing erosion, seizing erosion, and reconfiguring erosion affect firm survival.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the impact of transformational leadership on the intention to stay, as mediated through commitment. This study focuses on transformational leadership at the top level management in Democratic Party that currently led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. This study employs quantitative methods with estimating techniques based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The primary data used are collected by random sampling from Democratic Party management at the central (DPP) and regional (DPP/DPC) levels. The total number of participants in this study was 304. The stages of data analysis include preliminary analysis, which includes construct validity and reliability, a goodness of fit test, and parameter estimate based on a research model in which transformational leadership is an independent variable, intention to stay is an independent variable, and commitment (commitment) is a mediating variable. The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on commitment and that commitment positively influences respondents’ intention to stay with the organization. This demonstrates the significance of transformational leadership in fostering the longevity of political parties due to its ability to improve members' willingness to stay and contribute to the organization. In the framework of political party organizations, idealized influence and inspirational motivation are the most significant roles of transformative leadership.

Abstract

This research focuses on the fast-growing family business in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to discuss the performance of family companies that are in a state of inertia, where Top Management Team (TMT), namely the executive ranks of the company's leaders is needed to influence the management of cynicism to commitment to move in organizational change. The theory of leadership by comparing the perception of ideal change in organizations is the reference we use, namely the implicit change leadership theory (ICLT). This research method uses a non-probability sampling method where the probability of being selected as a sample is not the same. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and qualitative analysis of the organizational performance points of 31 family companies in Indonesia. The findings show that the paternalistic attitude of family culture reflects the commitment of TMT to make changes and performance that supports the company's success to move from inertia. The novelty in the article is the relationship of TMT in family businesses that supports the role of change through strong commitment, so that cynicism in family companies does not have a significant effect on organization. Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bisnis keluarga yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas kinerja perusahaan keluarga yang sedang dalam keadaan inersia, dimana Top Management Team (TMT) yaitu jajaran eksekutif pimpinan perusahaan sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempengaruhi sinisme manajemen terhadap komitmen untuk bergerak di perubahan organisasi. Teori kepemimpinan dengan membandingkan persepsi perubahan ideal dalam organisasi adalah acuan yang kami gunakan, yaitu teori kepemimpinan perubahan implisit (ICLT). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dimana probabilitas terpilihnya sebagai sampel tidak sama. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan analisis kualitatif terhadap poin-poin kinerja organisasi 31 perusahaan keluarga di Indonesia. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sikap paternalistik budaya keluarga mencerminkan komitmen TMT untuk melakukan perubahan dan kinerja yang mendukung keberhasilan perusahaan untuk beranjak dari inersia. Kebaruan dalam artikel tersebut adalah hubungan TMT dalam bisnis keluarga yang mendukung peran perubahan melalui komitmen yang kuat, sehingga sinisme dalam perusahaan keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organisasi.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan bisnis kedai kopi dan tingginya tingkat kompetisi di Indonesia khususnya di Surabaya menimbulkan keraguan calon pembeli untuk mencoba sebuah produk minuman kopi baru. Para pengusaha kedai kopi perlu mencari faktor pendukung yang dapat menimbulkan keinginan pasar untuk mencoba sebuah produk. Afterwork Caffeine Coffee shop mengusung gabungan tema coffee to go dan specialty coffee. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh consumer doubt new product terhadap intention to try pelanggan Afterwork Caffeine Coffee shop dengan packaging sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 96 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa consumer doubt new product dinyatakan memiliki pengaruh terhadap intention to try pelanggan Afterwork Caffeine Coffee shop, sedangkan packaging tidak memoderasi consumer doubt new product dalam mempengaruhi intention to try pelanggan.

Abstract

This study refers to a phenomenon among Balinese business practices that is faced with new situations so that a conflict arises between beliefs and something that must be lived but is considered contrary to attitudes. The new situation is the impact of the pandemic that can affect business continuity. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Cognitive Dissonance on Business Longevity and the effect of Cognitive Dissonance on Business Longevity moderated by Spiritual Values. The research method used is quantitative method and purposive sampling as sampling. The data obtained were then processed with SPSS. This study has a sample of 120 respondents who are business practices in Badung, Bali. The results showed that Cognitive Dissonance had a significant effect on Business Longevity. Moreover, there is no moderating effect exerted by Spiritual Value in the relationship between Cognitive Dissonance and Business Longevity. However, this study found that Spiritual Values can have a partial effect on Business Longevity.

Abstract

Pengguna internet di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang pesat. Berkembangnya internet memilki dampak yang cukup signifikan terhadap pola perilaku masyarakat. Tokopedia merupakan salah satu e-commerce yang memiliki perkembangan pesat. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat efek moderator persepsi risiko produk terhadap pengaruh kepercayaan pada keputusan pembelian online di situs e-commerce Tokopedia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data yang bersumber dari Katadata Insight Center (KIC) yang berjudul E-commerce Mapping 2018. Data ini digunakan peneliti untuk menentukan besaran jumlah sampel berdasarkan klaster pembagian wilayah.Penelitian ini menguji efek moderator dengan metode Moderated Multiple Regression (MMR). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 96 responden. Metode survei dengan pembagian kuesioner secara online melalui google form yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk melakukan pengambilan sampel. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan non- probability sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Moderated Multiple Regression (MMR). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepercayaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Persepsi risiko produk akan selalu ada dalam transaksi jual beli secara online. Persepsi risiko produk ditemukan memiliki pengaruh yang negative serta signifikan terhadap kepercayaan dan keputusan pembelian secara online. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperluas cakupan penelitian mulai dari lokasi/ wilayah, jenis e-commerce maupun lintas generasi karena dapat dimungkinkan adanya temuan yang baru.

Abstract

The success of a digital platform can be seen from how many users visit the platform in one month. Users will visit digital platforms due to various factors, such as an attractive and easy-to-navigate user interface, satisfying digital service platforms, effectiveness in finding information, ease of payment, delivery of various goods, as well as platform security in storing data. The more users who visit digital platform will affect the level of product purchases. This research was conducted to examine the effect of the user interface on the Shopee digital platform in Indonesia on customer shopping enjoyment which is influenced by gender and mediation by the flow experience variable. Information Foraging Theory was chosen as the scalpel in this research because it is considered important to be considered as a priority for digital platforms in improving performance on their platforms. The research method used is a quantitative method and a purposive sampling method which is processed using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application for Shopee users in Indonesia. The number of samples targeted in this study were 600 respondents who came from active students and alumni from UI, ITB, UGM, Unair, and ITS who often use the Shopee digital platform as a platform for online purchases.

Abstract

Perekonomian desa menuai perhatian pemerintah sebagaimana beban negara akan berkurang dengan mampunya desa mengalokasikan potensinya secara mandiri. Saat ini, UMKM Desa Galengdowo tengah menjajaki proses pengembangan bisnis terutama dalam bidang pemasaran produk sehingga diperlukannya inovasi pelaku usaha baru serta pembinaan yang tepat. Dengan ini, entrepreneurial reseller workshop dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan material bisnis berbasis ilmu ekonomi. Pembinaan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan skill masyarakat Desa Galengdowo perihal teknis usaha reseller dengan pelaksanaan yang berkelanjutan. Rangkaian program dihadiri oleh 9 calon pelaku usaha baru dan terbagi kedalam 4 tahapan berupa: pembekalan, pemantauan, riset, dan pendampingan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the information quality, product variety, and packaging have a significant effect on consumer purchase intention in SMEs located in Surabaya that are engaged in the snack sector. This study uses an elaboration likelihood model theory approach to assist in analyzing the way a person processes information which will later assist in increasing purchase intention. This research uses an experimental research method, with the sample number of 270 students of Universitas Ciputra Surabaya as its participants, which are divided into 9 groups of different experimental conditions. Sampling technique uses probability sampling, and the data analysis process is done using SPSS and JASP analysis tools. The results of this research indicate that the three variables individually have a significant effect on purchase intention, but further finding shows that these three variables simultaneously do not have a significant effect on purchase intention, except for the variables representing the peripheral route, that is, product variety and packaging. Based on these findings, it is concluded that when consumers are interested in buying a product, the consumers will tend to pay attention to one thing, whether through the central route or the peripheral route.

Abstract

Untuk mengembangkan bisnis yang berkelanjutan dibutuhkan manajemen strategis yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Segmentasi pelanggan dan pemilihan saluran distribusi merupakan bagian dari manajemen strategis yang penting untuk menentukan siapa pelanggan yang menjadi pengguna produk dan proses penyaluran nilai produk kepada pelanggan tersebut. Wirausaha muda pada pendidikan tinggi masih dalam proses pembelajaran pengembangan bisnis dan membutuhkan teknik yang tepat untuk melakukan segmentasi usaha dan pemilihan saluran distribusi. Pembekalan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan wirausaha muda pada level sekolah menengah dalam menyusun strategi segmentasi pelanggan dan pemilihan saluran distribusi. Pelaksanaan pemberdayaan wirausaha muda dihadiri oleh 170 siswa dengan 30% persen telah melakukan bisnis.
