Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) ciri-ciri orang bekerja-konflik keluarga (WFC) di Rumah Sakit berbasis Islam di Surakarta, (2) penyebab bekerja-konflik keluarga (WFC) di Rumah Sakit berbasis Islam di Surakarta. Lokasi research di Rumah Sakit Islam YARSIS Surakarta (YARSIS rumah sakit Islam) dan Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah PKU Surakarta (PKU Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah). Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskripstif dan informan dipilih dengan sengaja. Teknik Pengumpulan Data termasuk wawancara, kuesioner terbuka, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah orang-orang yang memiliki pengalaman bekerja lebih dari 10 tahun di rumah sakit, telah menikah dan mempunyai anak-anak. Hasil yang diperoleh dari studi ini menyatakan bahwa ada delapan kategori konflik keluarga-pekerjaan (WFC). Diantaranya adalah konflik bekerja-tanggungjawab keluarga, obsesi kerja, waktu kerja atas dan kebersamaan keluarga, konflik pekerjaan rumah tangga, pekerjaan dan kehidupan keluarga, memikirkan tentang keluarga selama bekerja, konflik- mengejar karir dan rumah tangga, dan komunikasi keluarga. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada satu kategori yang penting untuk konflik pekerjaan- keluarga, yaitu kelelahan fisik.Kata Kunci: Konflik Keluarga-Kerja, Konflik Berbasis Waktu, Konflik Berbasis Ketegangan, Konflik Berbasis Perilaku WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF WORKERS(Case Study of Islamic based Hospitals in Surakarta) AbstractThis study aimed to identify: (1) the characteristic of work-family conflict (WFC) in Islamic based Hospital at Surakarta, (2) the cause of work-family conflict (WFC) in Islamic based Hospital at Surakarta. The locations of research are Rumah Sakit Islam YARSIS Surakarta (YARSIS Islamic hospital) and Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta (PKU Muhammadiyah hospital). This study uses descriptive-qualitative approach and informants are choosen purposively. Data collection techniques include interviews, open-questionaire, and documentation. Subjects of this study are those who have working experience more than 10 years at hospital, have married and have children. Result obtained from this study states that there are eight categories of work-family conflict (WFC).They are: conflict of working-family responsibility, obsession of work, working-time over family-time, conflict of household-work, family live-work, thinking about family during working, conflict of household- pursuing carreer, and family communication. Result obtained shows that there is one category that significant to work-family conflict, that is physical fatigue. Keyword: Work-Family Conflict, Time Based Conflict, Strained-Based Conflict, Behavior-Based Conflict.

Abstract

Some research shows that microfinance institutions can help them improve their standard of living. In organizational behavior theory, a leader really determines the success of a program. However, no leadership model has been found in Islamic microfinance institutions that play a role in the success of the program to help increase the lives of customers who are on the verge of poverty. Research in the first year has concluded that vision, hope / faith, altruistic love, meaning / calling, membership, commitment and job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on spiritual leadership. The implication of the results of this study is that the management of human resources (HR) and company management along with all policies directly related to HR aspects are better based on the application of spiritual leadership by managers. However, empirical evidence has not yet been found that the role of spiritual leadership on the successful management of poverty alleviation programs in Islamic microfinance institutions. The second year of research aims to find empirical evidence with a qualitative approach. data with content analysis approach.

Abstract

Quality and customers are two important factors for every organization. Good quality is usuallyfollowed by customers’ loyality. Therefore, organization should enhance their quality improvement. Thisresearch is aimed at investigating internal customers’ satisfaction in education services. Two faculties inMuhammadiyah University of Surakarta are chosen as sample, i.e. Economics Faculty and PsychologyFaculty. The result shows that most of internal customers of the two faculties are less satisfied than it isshould be.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know and analyze : Indication of earning management in financial statement of Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Researcher uses total accruals from Healy (Arfani and Sasongko, 2005). The resulf of this research is positive of total accruals for four years and negative for one year. It means that there are earning management in financial statement of Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Muamalat Indonesia for four years.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing the effect of product design and promotion on sales volume in the batik industry in Sragen. This study is expected to provide a material consideration in the determination of product design and promotion policies that can improve the company’s sales volume. This study took 50 companies in Sragen batik as the study sample. This study testedthree hypotheses. The first hypothesis says that the design of the products significantly influence sales volume, is supported. This study also supports the second hypothesis which says that the promotion of a significant effect on sales volume. The third hypothesis is that the design of the product and promotion are jointly significant effect on the volume of sales is also supported.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea refers to painful menstruation which appears in theluteal phase that could affect productivity and quality of life, whiledysmenorrhea in adolescents can reduce the concentration of learning.Muscle relaxation therapy is a non-pharmacological treatment that iseffective, efficient and simple therapy as an treatment ofdysmenorrhea. This study was to determine whether the musclerelaxation therapy reduces for dysmenorrhea in adolescents. Thisstudy was conducted in May until September 2017 at Karya HusadaScience Health College . This design was true experimental withrandomized pretest posttest design. Dysmenorrhea screening usingACOG diagnostic criteria, in 207 female students to determine theprevalence of dysmenorrhea and it‟s symptoms was recorded in thediary records symptom. Students with dysmenorrhea were divided intoa control group (n=30) and an experimental group (n=30). Students incontrol group received deep breathing relaxation therapy and those inexperimental group received muscle relaxation therapy. The intensityof pain, blood pressure, respiration and pulse were measured 15minutes before being given treatment and would be measured again at15 minutes after giving the treatment during menstrual pain.Instruments used Numerical Rating Scale. Result: Pain intensity beforeand after intervention in intervention and control group were 5,53 ±1,167 vs 4,17 ± 1,053, P = 0,000 and 4,47 ± 1,358 vs 3,87 ± 1,96, P =0,000 . Test paired t-test and Wilcoxon test to see changes in systolic,diastolic and respiratory pressure changes of pulse before and afterrelaxation. Comparison of the effects of muscle relaxation and deepbreathing relaxation with P <0.05 (0.002) with Mann Whitney test.Muscle relaxation therapy was effective in reducing the intensity ofmenstrual pain or dysmenorrhea in adolescents.

Abstract

Bagi sebuah perusahaan, keuntungan merupakan tujuan utama. Maka, faktor-faktor yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap tujuan perusahaan tersebut menjadi wajib untuk dipelajari. Untuk dapat mencapai keuntungan secara optimal, salah satu cara yang ditempuh oleh beberapa perusahaan diantaranya dengan meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Tulisan yang merupakan hasil survey lapangan ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas perusahaan, salah satunya adalah mengenai perencanaan letak fasilitas pabrik yang diterapkan oleh setiap perusahaan. Secara umum perencanaan letak fasilitas pabrik adalah aktivitas perencanaan untuk membuat pengaturan yang optimum dari semua fasilitas produksi, perencanaan letak fasilitas yang baik akan memberikan dampak yang positif bagi proses produksi suatu perusahaan, sehingga produktivitas perusahaan tersebut dapat meningkat dan keuntungan dapat diperoleh secara optimal.

Abstract

Stock investment has become to be one of the most interesting andpromising ways to provide a faster rate of return compared to otherinvestments. Markowitz has set foundations about how to take a goodinvestment decision by considering its expected return and standarddeviation. The purpose of this research is two-fold. First, is tocompare the total portfolio risk between international and domesticportfolio diversification. Second, is to find the relationship betweenportfolio size and portfolio risk. This research applies mean-standarddeviations, paired t-test, and simple regression analysis on theAmerican, German, and Indonesian stock markets. The results showthat international diversification gives more significant total riskreduction compared to domestic one. Another results show asignificant relationship between portfolio size and risk reduction. Itmeans that the more number of stock in portfolio, the lesser risk thatwill be taken. The least risk can be achieved by holding 15 stockswhether in domestic or international portfolio diversification. Theresults have revealed that diversification has a positive impactthrough stock investment. This study strongly recommends todiversify the investment internationally and to increase the portfoliosize to gain the lower risk.

Abstract

Industri mikro pengolahan kerajinan berbahan dasar kayu seperti ukir, dan mebel merupakan salah satu penopang utama perekonomian di Kabupaten jepara. Salah satunya Desa Tegalsambi Kecamatan tahunan merupakan salah satu sentra Industri Mebel di Kabupaten Jepara yang memproduksi aneka macam furniture rumah tangga seperti meja, lemari dan kursi. Desa Tegalsambi termasuk tempat yang strategis kerena berada di dekat tempat wisata pantai teluk awur sehingga memberikan banyak peluang usaha bagi masyarakat sekitarnya. Untuk mengembangkan usahanya .namun pemilik usaha memiliki Permasalahan yaitu belum adanya media promosi yang dapat menjangkau pasar lebih luas seperti ketalog Mebel maupun media online. Penjualan produk ini hanya berdasarkan pesanan, padahal mereka mampu memproduksi dalam jumlah yang banyak dan tidak memiliki masalah dalam bahan baku dan tenaga kerja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui pendampingan kepada pemilik usaha Mebel di desa Tegalsambi Kecamatan Tahunan Kabupaten Jepara. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah penyusunan katalog, dan melakukan uji coba promosi. Melalui even even pameran yang ada di Jepara. Hasil dari pendampingan ini, diharapkan mitra tersebut mampu meningkatkan penjualan produknya serta lebih membuat inovasi inovasi baru terhadap produknya agar mampu bersaing di pasar bebas.
