Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektif apa tidaknya model pembelajaran make a match berbantu media word card terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi penafsiran data kelas V SD SD N Barusari 01 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan model Nonequivalent Control Grup. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD N Barusari 01 Semarang. Berdasarkan olah data menggunakan uji-t posttest hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh ttabel = 1,67722 dan thitung = 7,9951 maka kriteria (α/a,n1+n2-2) < thitung, sehingga diperoleh 1,6772<7,9951 maka H0 ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara hasil rata-rata nilai posttest lebih meningkat setelah diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match berbantu media word card.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Flipbook bertema kesehatan untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan  model Borg And Gall dengan penyesuaian tahapan pengembangan yaitu : (1) melakukan studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan draf produk, (4) validasi draf produk; (5) uji coba lapangan awal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru, siswa, dan orang tua untuk mendapatkan analisis kebutuhan dan respon terhadap media flipbook bertema kesehatan siswa sekolah dasar; validator memberikan masukan kelayakan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuisioner dengan memberikan lembar angket kebutuhan, angket validasi, dan angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil angket kebutuhan didapatkan hasil bahwa media flipbook dibutuhkan oleh guru, siswa, dan orang tua dengan kriteria cover depan belakang serta halaman berwarna cerah dengan memilih teks yang lugas sederhana dan teks yang bervariasi. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon didapatkan hasil bahwa media flipbook bertema kesehatan sangat cocok untuk menunjang pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi ini. Untuk memperoleh media flipbook bertema kesehatan yang sesuai dengan hasil kebutuhan dan respon siswa, guru dan orang tua. Nilai rata-rata validitas media flipbook yang diperoleh adalah 4.90 dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut maka media flipbook bertema kesehatan untuk siswa sekolah dasar dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas II sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Adequate facilities and infrastructure are not yet ready so that learning cannot run smoothly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of learning English. This research is qualitative, descriptive research that tends to use analysis and emphasizes process and meaning more. The approach used in this study is phenomenological. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The instrument used to analyze the data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study are that four critical factors support the smooth running of the English learning process: the principal, parents of students, students, and educators. The role of the principal, especially the support of the principal in the form of providing facilities and infrastructure, is an essential factor because, without this learning, it will not be able to run smoothly. The role of parents is also essential because their assistance to students will be able to provide a learning atmosphere. Student motivation is also an essential key to the success of learning English. This research with the results wants to show that various parties pay attention to four main factors for the smooth teaching and learning activities process.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a pandemic condition that resulted in children having to go to school from home. This problem is increasingly difficult for parents or children to achieve real educational goals. The problem in this study is how the role of parents in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic in second-grade students of Islamic Elementary School Cahaya Ilmu Semarang. As well as the difficulties experienced by parents in accompanying their children to study during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the role and difficulties of parents in assisting children in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The subject of this research is parents. The data of this study were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Parents have a very important role in assisting children to learn during the pandemic. In addition, parents have difficulty in assisting their children to learn. Children's moods are easy to change and there is limited time to accompany children to learn.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' learning difficulties in retelling stories and find out the factors that influence students' difficulties in retelling stories. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. In this study, researchers used several methods to collect data, including: observation, interviews, questionnaires (questionnaires), and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the highest student error is found in retelling the contents of the story that has been read, while the lowest student error is in student understanding. From the percentage of student errors, it shows that most students still have difficulty in retelling the content of the story, do not know the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the story, the applied teacher learning style, lack of student response, and lack of student focus in learning. In addition, student difficulties can be influenced by internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and problems of WhatsApp-based online learning on theme 4 grade VI SD Negeri Pengkol Jepara. This research method is a qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of WhatsApp-based online learning at SD Negeri Pengkol Jepara has been carried out well. The school's online learning implementation uses WhatsApp as the main media or platform in carrying out online learning. There are several problems experienced by teachers including the difficulty of ownership of student facilities which are very limited and then the learning time given by the teacher is not as expected by the teacher. As for the problems experienced by students in online learning, among others, students do not really understand or even understand the material that has been delivered by the teacher because it is only a learning video. Then the students were too bored and lacked interest in listening and understanding the learning video until it was finished. Lack of understanding of students in the end in doing assignments or tests cannot be maximized, carelessly not even doing assignments.

Abstract

There are many children’s short stories out there both in print media and e-media. This study proposes a comparison between Indonesian short stories in print media and American short stories in e-media. This research is qualitative and descriptive. The subject of research is eleven short stories, i.e. seven print-media Indonesian short stories and four e-media American short stories. The data collection method used is documentation and the data are analysed by using the Miles and Huberman techniques. The results indicate that the eleven children short stories carry good values that are in accordance with the character teaching, character building, and character shaping. One children’s short story teaches being helpful and caring for the environment and people around us while theothers teach being persistent and not easily giving up despite your failures.There is also a story that teaches being humble and not being arrogant. It is also found that the teaching is not always for the children, it could also be for the adults just like in one of the stories that teaches the adults for being patient in facing and handling the naughty children.Keywords: children short stories, comparative literature, character building

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the students who still have difficulties in understanding the subject matter taught especially on the subjects of  Indonesian Language and still not maximally in the mastery of the concept, the teachers only rely on books and teaching materials from the government so that they can not develop the learning process in the classroom. The problem in this research is whether the application of Quantum Learning in Indonesian Language subjects can improve the achievement of students of grade V SD Pedurungan Kidul 02 Semarang. Results Improved learning completeness before and after learning by applying quantum Learning can be seen by the calculation of gain scores. Gain obtained in the research shows that the pretest used is the result of learning on the pre cycle while the postest is the result of cycle II. The number of pre-cycle values 2592 and the number of cycles of II 3276. While the average value on the pre cycle is 65% and the average value in cycle II is 81.9%. The N-gain obtained from pretest and postest is 0.475% by using the normalized gain formula, the N-gain analysis on pretest and posttest shows 8 students in the high category ie at g0 0, 7 and 27 student interval in medium category ie at interval gain 0.3≤g <0.7 and 5 students in the low category that is at g <0.3. From that category the N-gain results fall into the moderate category within the gain interval of 0.3 ≤ g <0.7. The data is supported by an increase in student activity showing from cycle 1 63% and on cycle II 87%. And also strengthened from the data attitudes of discipline obtained in 40 students the number of cycles I is 817 with 81.7% percentage and on the second cycle the number of scores obtained is 885 with 88.5% percentage.

Abstract

The implementation of inclusive education enables children with special needs to learn together with the normal students in regular schools. The study aimed to analyze the implementation of inclusive education at Bina Harapan Semarang Elementary School. The method in this study was descriptive qualitative analysis. Subjects were students, teachers, and employees/staff. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. To check the validity of the data, the researcher used data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive education at Bina Harapan Semarang Elementary School was not by the provisions. It was due to the absence of a decree on the appointment of the implementation of inclusive education so that the fulfillment of various supporting components for the implementation of inclusive education had not been fully fulfilled. And it was also found that school license was to administer the inclusive education, but in fact the curriculum used was a regular curriculum, all students in schools were dominated by children with special needs, teachers did not have special education skills, there were no common perceptions about children with special needs, teachers were still not considered sensitive and proactive yet to the special needs of children. Suggestions are needed to evaluate school licensing and implementation of school administration, human resources in teaching, acceptance of new students, and awareness of all parties to be actively involved in various activities to support the implementation of inclusive education.The implementation of inclusive education enables children with special needs to learn together with the normal students in regular schools. Abstract

Internet-based learning that is carried out online has become very intense by teachers in Indonesia since the covid-19 pandemic, one of which is SD N Purbo 03. SD N Purbo 03 teachers as users of distance learning services have a very significant role in transferring knowledge, facilitate, and assist students in learning. So, before seeing further how the learning process through applications, it is very necessary to know in advance how the students view the current conditions and in particular the use of Zoom Meeting media as a media for distance learning. This study uses a qualitative method by presenting sources as research subjects. The results showed that online learning in class VI SD N Purbo 03 with Zoom Meeting was divided into three stages, namely the learning planning stage, learning implementation and evaluation. Students' views on online learning through Zoom Meetings based on student experiences show that Zoom Meeting gives a pleasant impression of learning because in the implementation of learning Zoom Meeting gives the impression of learning like in a school where students and teachers are connected to each other even though virtually, the successful implementation of Zoom Meeting as a learning medium can not be separated from the involvement of parents in monitoring the online learning process.
