Abstract

The study aimed to assess factors - supporting and inhibiting factors in Agribusiness Strawberries. This research was conducted in the Village Rurukan and Rurukan One, Sub-district of East Tomohon, Tomohon City. The study lasted for 3 (three) months, from July to September 2016 starting from preparation through research reports. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The samples in this study were all strawberry farmers in Rurukan and Rurukan One, they are 7 strawberries farmers in which five farmers who are still active, while two farmers are no longer planted strawberries, consumers or tourists who visit, and the institution or village. Data analysis method used is descriptive (descriptive analysis), where the study was conducted to examine the factors supporting and inhibiting agribusiness Strawberries. The results showed that the factors - factors supporting and inhibiting the main agribusiness strawberries for subsystem Agriinput, Subsystem Agriproduksi, Subsystems Agriindustri, Subsystems Agriniaga, and Subsystem Agriservis. The detail findings are: (a) subsystems Agriinput main supporting factors are strawberry seeds, fertilizers and labor while the main inhibiting factor is the land, the weather and the capital; (b) subsystem Agriproduksi main supporting factor is the knowledge of farmers on the cultivation of strawberries and strawberry fruit prices, while the limiting factor is the main weather and capital; (c) sub-system Agriindustry main supporting factors are: processing technology, while being the main limiting factor is the capital and processing equipment; (d) subsystem Agricommerce main supporting factor is the market, price of Strawberries and that became the main limiting factor is the capital; (e) Subsystem Agriservice main supporting factors are education, agricultural extension and being the main limiting factor is the information.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Identify the supply chain model of coconut desiccated at PT. XYZ and (2) to analyze the supply chain management of desiccated coconut at PT. XYZ. The research was conducted over 2 months ie from September to November 2016 and is located in PT. XYZ (pseudonym), in North Sulawesi. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through field observation and direct interviews. Interviews were conducted with the company related logistics company to find a picture of the supply chain and supply chain management is done by the company. In addition, the researchers also conducted interviews with coconut farmers and collectors to determine the condition of the current coconut price as well as the flow of raw material coconuts from the famers to supplier. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant literature, as well as documents and reports that are owned by companies and agencies. This study focuses on the management of the flow of material and information flow of the supply chain of coconut flour at PT. XYZ. The results of observations and interviews were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis methods. The results showed that (1) Members of coconut flour supply chain at. XYZ, namely (a) the raw material supplier of coconut spread in some areas, (b) PT. XYZ for purchasing, sales, shipping and production, (c) Expediting Services to send products from Bitung harbor, next to the port of Tanjung Priok to be exported to the country of destination, (d) The customer, in this case the food companies that require raw materials coconut flour to be produced into chocolate bars, cookies, dessert, and so forth. (2) (a) Selection of supplier PT. XYZ is good enough, because every supplier who will supply the raw material to go through the interview stage, made a deal with the company and agree to the terms proposed by the company. PT. XYZ also maintain good relations with its suppliers with visits annually; (b) the flow of material and information flow is managed by PT. XYZ is good enough. Any information purchasing, sales, shipping and finance centered PT.XYZ headquarters is located in Manado and PT. XYZ manage information about the quantity of raw materials available in the warehouse and general condition of the plant.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the supporting and obstacle factors of strawberry farming in the Rurukan and Rurukan Satu Villages. The study was carried out in three months,  July to September 2016. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The total respondents were seven farmers consisted of 5 farmers who were still farming strawberry and two farmers who previously cultivated strawberry. The analysis used in this study was a descriptive analysis of the characteristics of the farmers and to identify the factors supporting and obstacle factors in strawberry farm. The results showed that the factors supporting the farming of strawberries were the availability strawberry seeds, the availability of organic fertilizers, natural conditions and selling prices as well as market share. While the obstacle factors in the farming of strawberries were extreme weather, land, capital, the price of fertilizer. *ael*.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of facilitators who facilitate farmer groups, especially in cocoa crops and know the various obstacles faced by the accompaniment in the assistance activities of cocoa farmer groups in North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The study lasted for three months from February to April 2017. The data collected in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data collected through interviews with 5 farmer groups and taken by deliberate were 3 farmers group of Advanced and 2 groups of Beginner Farmer Group. Each group of farmers is taken as many as 6 people consisting of the management of farmer groups namely chairman, secretary, treasurer and 3 members. Total of respondents amounted 30. Secondary data were obtained from the Office of Agriculture and District Offices in North Bolaang Mongondow. Data analysis was used descriptive analysis. The results of this research showed that the counselor was instrumental in empowering the cocoa farmer groups in both the beginner and advanced farmer groups in intensification and rehabilitation activities. The role of companion is categorized as a very important role that is 88.3%. This can be seen from the corective and enhacement in the way of gardening. The constraints faced by counselors, especially at the beginner level farmers, are the fear of to take risk of failure in production so that they have not dared to try new technologies.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the marketing channels of strawberries ranging from farmers in the Village Rurukan and Rurukan one to the supermarket. The research was conducted in Kelurahan Rurukan and Rurukan Satu East Tomohon Subdistrict Tomohon City for three months from May 2016 until July 2016. The data obtained are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data sourced from direct interviews with related parties, among others strawberry farmers who became the subject of research. Secondary data is data obtained by the researcher who sourced from documents from related agencies, such as: Rurukan urban village office and Rurukan Satu East Tomohon subdistrict Tomohon City, internet and library sources or literature book data is analyzed by using marketing margin, farmer's share and profit margin. Based on the results of marketing channel research as much as two channels of marketing channel I ranging from farmers to final consumers, marketing channels II farmers to the Supermarket divided into two places namely Cool Tomohon and Freshmart Bahu. The result of marketing Margin of strawberry fruit on channel I is Rp. 0 (0%). For marketing margin value II is Rp. 6500 (30, 23%) (Cool) and Rp. 13,000 (46, 42%) (Freshmart). This shows that the largest margin of marketing value occurs in the marketing channel II in the supermarket Freshmart. The largest profit margin in the strawberry fruit sequence that occurs in marketing channel I between farmers to consumers with profit margin of Rp. 13,250 (98.14%).*jnkd*

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much added value goroho bananas. This research was carried out for 3 months in Sabuah Purple Malalayang Beach at Manado City. This research uses primary data with direct interview technique to the manager. The results showed that from the four forms of processed banana goroho goroho banana flour sticks, regular sticks, chips, and split four; The most value added in the form of processed banana goroho flour sticks with a value of IDR 2816.78 compared with other processed forms such as common sticks IDR 1567,97, chips IDR 1091,78, and split four IDR 1176,78.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know sosial capital of “Citawaya” farmer group in Village of Talikuran I, Sub-district of Sonder, Minahasa Regency. The study lasted for three months starting from February until April 2017. The data used are primary data collected through interviews on all members of farmer group “Citawaya” which amounted to 20 people as respondents. Secondary data obtained from Talikuran I Village Offices. The analysis used is descriptive through Likert Scale and presented in tabular form. The results showed that “Citawaya” farmer group in the Village of Talikuran I had a very high social capital of trust, social norms, social network, social values, and reciprocity by obtaining social capital index 85%. The highest social capital was trust indicators, then it followed by reciprocity indicators then social network indicators, then indicators of social values and recent indicators of social norms. The high social capital makes the “Citawaya” farmer group able to survive until now and bring a good changing in the group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimization of products, resource use and sensitivity of production resources in furniture BLPT kaaten. The study was conducted from April 2017 to August 2017. The data used were primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from direct observation of company condition and interview with related parties of research in company while secondary data obtained from company include cost data, raw material, rescue material, human labor and machine worker. The method used in this reswarch is case study. The data analysis used is Linear Programming with the help of using software LINDO Version 6.1. The results show that BLPT Kaaten has been operating optimally producing 76 church benches within 100 days with RP profits. 77.615.470. The limiting resource in the production of KUDENBLPT furniture is the manpower of the finishing department. Resource sensitivity sensitive to the decrease of the availability of raw materials are brass hinges, sis locks, leaf size 3 and leaf knob size 3.5.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of farmer groups against the dynamics of farmer groups in the Village Ongkaw Dua Sinon Sayang District South Minahasa District. This research was carried out in Ongkaw Dua Village, Sinon Sayang District, South Minahasa District for 3 months starting from February 2017 until April 2017 starting from preparation, taking data to preparing research report. Data collection methods in this study using primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained directly from the source through surveys and interviews using questionnaires to the Four Farmers Group of the Ark, Sinar Baru, Bersehati, Blessing each five group members consisting of chairman, secretary, treasurer, and two members of the farmer group, while secondary data was obtained from institutions related to the research of the village government Ongkaw Dua Based on the results of descriptive analysis it can be seen that the number of farmer group participation index to the dynamics of farmers group is very good with the score obtained is 3600.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing mix on UD.Betris. The research was conducted in November 2017 until January of 2018. The research method used is case study. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The method of data analysis used is descriptive analysis that describes the implementation of marketing mix of Bamboo Batik Handicraft in Meras Village, Bunakaen Sub-district, Manado City. The result of the research concludes that marketing mix in general have good application in UD. Betris. Based on four aspects, only one aspect is a place that is not well implemented in UD. Betris because the place is not strategic yet.
