Abstract

This development aims to produce a Problem-Based Instruction-based Student worksheet product that is suitable for use as a learning resource for class XI SMA. The development of the Student worksheet using 4-D procedures and models suggested by Thiagrajan, Semmel, and Semmel consists of 4 development stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The stages carried out in this research are only up to the third stage, namely Develop, this is due to time and cost limitations. The process for producing this Student worksheet begins with the Student worksheet validation stage by 2 material experts and 2 design experts. This Student worksheet was also tested at school to see user responses, namely the biology subject teacher and 10 students of SMA N 1 Purbolinggo. The results of this analysis are to determine the feasibility level of developing a Student worksheet as a biology teaching material based on the evaluation of the results of the Student worksheet design validation which obtained a percentage value of 89%, the evaluation of the results of material validation in the Student worksheet obtained a percentage value of 97%, the assessment of the results of the validation of the biology subject teacher obtained a percentage value of 88. % and the student response test obtained a percentage value of 94%. Based on the data from the test results of experts, teachers, and students, an average total score of 92% or in the criteria of "Very Good" is obtained, and it can be concluded that the developed problem-based biology Student worksheet has met the minimum eligibility requirements. 75%, so it is feasible to be used as a reference for biology teaching materials in the coordination system material.

Abstract

The learning process works because there is interaction and communication between individuals and their environment. Learning can be done alone or with the help of others like parents and teachers, and can also be done with the help of the media. The learning process that takes place in schools today has used a lot of media books that are more varied. Based on interviews conducted with Grade XI teachers of MAN 1 Metro, regarding the learning media used. Grade XI teachers conveyed that the problem in learning in the class is that there are still students who have low interest in reading so there are still students who score below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) which is 76. The problems found in the MAN 1 Metro school are a lack of student interest in reading and low learning motivation. Media supporting books used in the learning process are also still not attracting students' interest in reading. Then it can be formulated the purpose of development is to produce products in the form of comics as a medium of learning biology on the class XI MAN 1 Metro respiration system material that is feasible to use and can increase student motivation and motivation. The development of comics with this respiration system material is expected to be able to support learning motivation and increase students' memory of the respiration system material. In addition, comics can also be used as learning media that can support and facilitate teachers in delivering respiration system material in the teaching and learning process. The method used to develop comics is the Research and Development (R&D) method The development model used is the 4-D model, there are four stages namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research data was obtained from the results of expert validation and small-group trials. Based on the data collection, the results obtained in the expert material validation obtained a percentage value of 98% with the criteria "Very Good". The validation of learning media experts obtained a percentage value of 94% with the criteria of "Very Good". The validation of comic media experts obtained a percentage value of 96% with the criteria of "Very Good". In small group trials, the percentage value was 84.8%. With "Good" criteria. Based on these criteria stated that the product developed is suitable for use in the field.

Abstract

Aphrodisiak adalah bahan yang berfungsi sebagai perangsang untuk meningkatkan perilaku seksual.Pengaturan perilaku seksual pada hewan uji yang sering digunakan oleh peneliti di laboratorium yaitumenggunakan mencit jantan diperoleh melalui dua sistem hormonal yang terdiri dari hipotalamus,hipofisis dan testis. Mekanisme senyawa kimia berupa steroid, alkaloid dan flavonoid sebagai bahanaphrodisiak terjadi melalui vasodilatasi, pembentukan nitric oxide, peningkatan level testosteron dangonadotropin terhadap aktivitas introducing, climbing dan coitus pada hewan uji (mencit/tikus jantan). Telah diketahui bahwa ada korelasi antara libido dengan testosteron, bahwa kadar testosteron yangtinggi dapat memperbaiki dorongan seks yang rendah. Kebanyakan untuk meningkatkan kadartestosteron menggunakan bahan kimia yang berisiko terhadap kesehatan. Oleh karena itu perlualternatif lain menggunakan tanaman yang memiliki potensi sebagai peningkat kadar testosteron.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanaman-tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai aphrodisiakyang dimanfaatkan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan studi pustakaterkait dengan tanaman yang memiliki aktivitas aphrodisiak yang terdapat pada jurnal nasionalmaupun internasional yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat 22tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai aphrodisiak. Diharapkan review artikel ini dapat memberikaninformasi terkait tumbuhan yang memiliki aktivitas aphrodisiak yang ada di Indonesia

Abstract

Jagung manis merupakan bahan pangan kedua terpenting setelah beras, sehingga permintaan jagung manis terus meningkat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Kebun Percobaan Kalibening PekalonganLampung Timur, bulan Mei-Agustus 2023. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAL) dengan dua faktor pupuk organik cair Pumakkal (P) dan Pupuk Kimia (K) 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu P0= tanpa pupuk (kontrol), P1= 100%P, P2= 100%K,P3= 30%P70%K, P4= 70%P30%K dan P5=50%P50%K. Setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali diperoleh 30 satuanpercobaan. Pelaksanaan penelitian meliputi Penyiapan media, penanaman satu benih satu lubang, pemupukanpada umur 10, 25 dan 50 HST, pemeliharaan dan panen umur 72 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberianpupuk pumakkal 50% dan kimia 50% (P5) pada jagung manis parameter tinggi tanaman 107,5 cm, diametertertinggi mencapai 2.1 cm, jumlah daun 11,1. Produksi jagung manis perlakuan P5 mengalami peningkatan 125g tongkol berkelobot pada kontrol meningkat rata-rata 98%.

Abstract

Augmented reality is a technology that connects the virtual and real world with the help of a camera. Augmented reality technology is very important to get an overview of the progress and the real impact of its use in biology learning. Furthermore, through systematic literature review analysis, we searched for biology learning publications that utilized augmented reality. The results of the study show that there are no biology journals on a scopus basis that discuss the use of augmented reality the most. The trend of using augmented reality in biology learning from 2012-2022 started in 2016 and was highest in 2020. Biological material that uses the most augmented reality media is heart and blood flow material. The level of education that makes the most use of augmented reality is college. The types of research which is most widely used are research and development. The obstacles that occur are the lack of facilities and the lack of teacher training in utilizing augmented reality. All levels of education can take advantage of augmented reality with teacher skills facilitating student learning. Abstract

This development research aims to (1) produce a module based on ADIS (Argument-Driven Inquiry with Scaffolding) on material on the human reproductive system class IX in junior high school that is suitable for use. (2) to find out the students' responses to the ADIS-based module (Argument-Driven Inquiry With Scaffolding) on the material of the human reproductive system class IX SMP. This research was conducted at junior high school PGRI 1 Sukadana, East Lampung. This type of research is development research with the development model used by ADDIE, the data collection stage (analysis), the design stage (design), and the development stage (development). the stage of application of teaching materials (implementation), and the stage of feedback (evaluation). The types of data in this study are qualitative and quantitative data. The data collection instruments used in this study were interview sheets, product validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Based on the validation results of module experts it was declared very feasible with a percentage of 85% which was accumulated from an average validation of design experts of 80%, an average validation of material experts of 87%, and validation of linguists 92% with very feasible criteria. Based on the results of the practicality test, the module was stated to be very practical with an average percentage of 91.67%. So it can be concluded that the ADIS (Argument-Driven Inquiry With Scaffolding) based module on the material of the human reproductive system has been declared very feasible and very practical.

Abstract

Aphrodisiacs are substances that function as stimulants to increase sexual behavior. Some plants that have been studied as aphrodisiacs. Based on this background, it is necessary to research The aphrodisiac effect of a solution of nutmeg (myristica fragrans houtt.) on the behavior of mice (Mus musculus).  This type of research was a qualitative descriptive study consisting of five groups, each with three repetitions. There were 30 mice and each group had 6 mice. The parameters observed were calculating the total percentage of approach (introducing), riding (climbing), and coitus (coitus). The data in this study are descriptive qualitative where the results show an aphrodisiac effect. The primary data were then analyzed descriptively by the research objectives, while the quantitative data were processed by tabulation. Based on the results of the introducing activity study the K2 treatment (0.93 times) was greater than the other treatments, although the value was still small. The results of the research on climbing activity in the K2 treatment (0.55 times) were greater than the other treatments. The absence of aphrodisiac activity (coitus) in this study indicated a slow response to sexual activity, requiring a longer time to respond to female mice that were in estrus.              Kata kunci:  Aprodisiak, Biji pala, Sumber Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian variasi Azolla microphylla pada pakan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan baung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian variasi Azolla pada pakan. Pakan dengan Variasi Azolla 1000g, Azolla 2000g dan Azolla 3000g. Parameter yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi laju pertumbuhan bobot ikan, panjang ikan, dengan data pendukung berupa kelulushidupan ikan, dan kualitas air pada media pemeliharaan. Data utama kemuadian ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS yang meliputi Analisis Ragam One Way Anava. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan uji laboratorium berupa uji kandungan protein pada pakan ikan baung yang di gunakan selama pengamatan. Pengujian kandungan protein pada pakan dilakukan di Laboratorium Analisis Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Berdasarkan Hasil analisis ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa pemberian variasi Azolla microphylla pada pakan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot dan pertumbuhan panjang ikan baung (P<0,05). Persentase kelangsungan hidup ikan baung selama penelitian mencapai 64,4-66,6%. Suhu yang didapat selama penelitian berkisar 28,65-29,50C. Sedangkan pH yang didapat selama penelitian berkisar 6,9-7,2.

Abstract

Abstrak : Keberhasilan suatu proses belajar mengajar dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua faktor yang mendominasi yaitu model pembelajaran dan motivasi yang dimiliki siswa saat belajar. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat akan membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar lebih menarik sehingga menarik rasa ingin tahu siswa untuk belajar. Rasa ingin tahu merupakan motivasi alami yang dimiliki oleh siswa, sehingga mereka tertarik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini model yang akan digunakan adalah Problem Based Learning atau dikenal dengan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Model pembelajaran ini berorientasi pada siswa, dimana guru akan memberikan objek permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan materi dan siswa akan diminta untuk menganalisis penyelesaian masalah tersebut dengan menggali berbagai informasi baik dari buku, internet ataupun hasil siswa. Sedangkan guru hanya berperan sebagai fasilitator dan mengarahkan siswa. Tujuan dari artikel review ini adalah (1) untuk mengkaji model Problem Based Learning (2) mempelajari hasil belajar (3) untuk mengkaji model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Abstract: The success of a teaching and learning process is influenced by various factors. In this study, there are two factors that dominate, namely the learning model and the motivation that students have when learning. By applying the right learning model, it will make teaching and learning activities more interesting so that it attracts students' curiosity to learn. Curiosity is a natural motivation possessed by students, so they are interested in participating in the learning process. In this study, the model to be used is Problem Based Learning or known as Problem Based Learning (PBL). This learning model is oriented towards students, where the teacher will provide an object of problems related to the material and students will be asked to analyze the resolution of the problem by exploring a variety of information both from books, the internet or students' results. Whereas the teacher only acts as a facilitator and directs students. The purpose of this review article is (1) to examine the Problem Based Learning model (2) to study the learning outcomes (3) to examine the Problem Based Learning model in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Tumbuh suburnya Pteridophyta di Kawasan Hutan Gisting Permai Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor biotik dan abiotik. Faktor biotik meliputi semua kehidupan makhluk hidup di bumi baik individu, populasi dan komunitas yang di dalamnya termasuk jumlah inang Pteridophyta yang banyak, sedangkan faktor abiotik meliputi seluruh faktor-faktor non hidup dari suatu kondisi lingkungan seperti cahaya matahari, suhu, air, dan tanah, ketinggian. Faktor-faktor abiotik ini tidak hanya menyediakan energi dan materi penting, tetapi juga mempunyai peranan dalam menentukan tumbuhan-tumbuhan dan hewan-hewan yang mampu berada disuatu tempat tertentu sesuai dengan habitatnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah berupa kajian kualitatif. Artikel ini dikaji dengan menyatukn referensi dari berbagai sumber diantaranya berasal dari jurnal, buku, arsip dokumen pekon Gisting Permai, dan internet. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan berbagai referensi yang dikumpulkan sebanyak mungkin yang berkaitan dengn faktor biotik dan abiotik pertumbuhan tumbuhan paku. Kata kunci: Biotik, Abiotik, Pteridophyta. ABSTRACT: The growth of Pteridophyta in the Permai Gisting Forest Area, Gisting Sub-District Tanggamus Regency was strongly influenced by biotic and abiotic factors. Biotic factors include all the life of living things on earth both individuals, populations and communities which include a large number of Pteridophyta hosts, while abiotic factors include all non-living factors of an environmental condition such as sunlight, temperature, water, and soil, height. These abiotic factors not only provide important energy and material, but also had a role in determining plants and animals that which are able to be in a certain place according to their habitat. The method used in this study is a qualitative study. This article was reviewed by citing references from various sources including journals, books, Gisting Permai archive documents, and the internet. The data collection was obtained by using as many references as possible related to biotic and abiotic factors for fern growth. Key word: biotic, abiotic, Pteridophyta.
