Abstract

The aim of this study is to obtain (1) description of the understanding level of high school teachers related biology learning tools through the Inquiry based learning model, (2) the solutions formulation to solve the problems of teachers solutions related to the development of Biology learning tools in high school, (3) description of the level of problem-solving skills of students related to learning biology-based Inquiry models, (4) the solutions formulation to solve the students problem solving skills related to Inquiry based biology learning model. The observation results of teachers and students problems were analyzed by descriptive qualitative showed that (1) the understanding level of teachers related inquiry based model of biology learning tools is still lacking, so its usage in the learning process has not done optimally, (2) Teachers have trouble in making learning tools. Therefore, teachers need a reference benchmark, mentoring activities and socialization in inquiry based learning model development, (3) Students are still difficult to solve problems in the learning process in the classroom, (4) lack of problem-solving skills students need to be addressed with the full guidance teacher to student related problem solving skills.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran pemahaman guru SMA terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi melalui model pembelajaran berbasis Inquiry, (2) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan guru terkait pengembangan perangkat pembelajarann Biologi di SMA, (3) gambaran tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terkait pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model Inquiry, dan (4) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terkait pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model Inquiry. Hasil observasi permasalahan guru dan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model inkuiri masih kurang sehingga penggunaannya pada proses pembelajaran belum dilakukan secara optimal, (2) guru mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru memerlukan referensi acuan, kegiatan pendampingan dan sosialisasi dalam pengembangangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Inquiry, (3) Siswa masih sulit dalam memecahkan permasalahan pada proses pembelajaran di kelas, dan (4) rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa perlu diatasi dengan bimbingan penuh guru kepada siswa terkait kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain (1) an overview of junior high school teachers 'understanding of science based biology instructional tools and scientific report writing skills; (2) description of students' ability to write scientific reports; (3) formulation and solution to solve teacher and student problems related to inquiry-based learning And writing skills of scientific reports. A description of teacher and student understanding is determined by interviews and questionnaires are analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The result of this research is known that (1) the understanding of biology science teachers related to inquiry based biology learning device is still in the less category so that the learning process is less fun and the result is less than maximal; (2) the biology science teachers still have difficulties in the development of learning tools so it needs training, refrensi and socialization; (3) students' skills in writing scientific reports are still in the category of less; (4) the need for training and guidance to develop scientific report writing skills. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran pemahaman guru SMP terkait perangkat pembelajaran IPA Biologi berbasis Inquiry dan keterampilan penulisan laporan ilmiah; (2) gambaran kemampuan siswa dalam menulis laporan ilmiah; (3) rumusan dan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan guru dan siswa terkait pembelajaran berbasis inquiry dan keterampilan menulis laporan ilmiah. Gambaran pemahaman guru dan siswa ditentukan dengan wawancara dan penyebaran angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa (1) pemahaman guru IPA Biologi terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis inquiry masih kategori kurang sehingga proses pembelajaran kurang menyenangkan dan hasilnya kurang maksimal; (2) guru IPA Biologi masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran sehingga memerlukan pelatihan, referensi dan sosialisasi; (3) keterampilan siswa dalam penulisan laporan ilmiah masih dalam kategori kurang; (4) perlu adanya pelatihan dan bimbingan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan penulisan laporan ilmiah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran Biologi khususnya pada pemahaman guru mengenai media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, penerapan media pembelajaran di kelas. Sampel pengamatan adalah guru Biologi di SMA Samarinda. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 75% guru tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi mobile learning dengan teknik mnemonic verbal, namun tidak semua guru mengerti tentang media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi mobile learning dengan teknik mnemonic verbal. Dari hasil pengamatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu ditingkatkan pemahaman guru tentang pengembangan dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dikelas.

Abstract

Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Solomon Four Group Design, yang dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas 10 di SMA Negeri 10 Samarinda. Tujuan penelitian adalah Menganalisis pengaruh sikap sosial siswa pada penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments (TGT) dengan media ular tangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh sikap sosial siswa pada kelompok yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments (TGT) dengan media ular tangga yaitu lebih tinggi dibanding dengan kelompok lain yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments (TGT) dengan media ular tangga. Hasil uji independent sample t test  dengan nilai Sig atau ( = 0,05 ≥ Sig) nilai t hitung pada kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol lebih besar nilainya. sehingga hipotesis awal (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis penelitian (Ha) diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sikap sosial siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments (TGT) dengan media ular tangga dengan yang tidak diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments (TGT) dengan media ular tangga.

Abstract

On the issue of distribution of teachers, for example, we have not been able to spread evenly elementary teachers in remote homeland. In fact, the number of primary school teachers as a whole are not including less. As a result, there was a shortage of teachers locally everywhere, especially in the small, difficult and remote. On the issue of disparity in quality, basil learn the average elementary school student in the big cities are generally much higher than their counterparts in remote areas. Perhaps a more appropriate blamed is because we have not found the proper techniques to perform Duplicate Classroom Management (PKR). Understanding the nature or essence of PKR, PKR is expected to no longer regard as a difficult problem to overcome. In contrast, the self will grow understanding that PKR is a definite challenge to overcome. The purpose of this study was to determine how the management class for Elementary School Teachers Experiencing Shortage of the Frontier or Remote province of East Kalimantan that occurred during this time, to find out what happened to the problem of learning patterns that have been implemented in elementary schools Experiencing Shortage Teachers in the Frontier or Remote East Kalimantan Province and develop a model to solve the problems that occurred in the study that had been conducted at the Primary School Teachers Experiencing Shortage of the Frontier or Remote Kalimantan Timur.Model development modeled after Dick & Carey with steps to identify learning objectives, learning analysis, analysis of student characteristics, formulate learning indicators, developing test items, develop learning strategies, developing and selecting materials, designing formative evaluation and revise teaching materials. Classroom management model appropriate to deal with problems in elementary Sebatik Island due to shortage of teachers is classroom management model in the sense that 221 teachers teach two classes, two subjects in the same room. This model is considered to be appropriate to the circumstances on the island of Sebatik who have never applied for duplicate classroom management model management model 221 is a model of the simplest of the three models in the management of dual class.

Abstract

The function of education is to prepare students through a process that takes place before students are ready to work in real life. The strategy for implementing education is carried out in the form of guidance, teaching and training activities. In line with that  national education must be able to guarantee equal opportunities for education, improvement in quality, and efficiency of education management. Improving the quality of education is directed at improving the quality of Indonesian people as a whole through cognitive, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of the study was to determine the problems of teachers and students in the problem-based learning model with the use of Liquid Crystal Display Media on the results of Biology Science. The design of this study uses quasi experimental. Based on observations and interviews with Biology Science teachers that students tend to remain silent in class, pay less attention to teachers, play with their peers so that the average cognitive learning value results are 63.50%. Based on the results of interviews with students, information was obtained that the teacher had been giving a woman a monotonous method, namely lecture and lack of interaction with students so that some students felt they did not understand the material.

Abstract

This study aims to design learning media smart Apps Creator, validity, practicality, and effectiveness on student learning outcomes using learning media Smart Apps Creator Android. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the DDD-E development model. The output produced is the " My Ecosystem " application product from the development of SAC Android media on ecosystem materials with 4C ( Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication). The results of the validity test showed 98% validity of learning media, 90.77% validity of the material, and 88% validity of language. The results of the practicality of my ecosystem media by teachers are 97% very practical and students, namely 89.1% very practical. So it can be concluded that my ecosystem media from the development of Smart Apps Creator Android in Biology learning is appropriate to be used as a learning medium and can improve student learning outcomes in online learning in the covid 19 era.

Abstract

The low critical thinking skills, learning motivation and student learning outcomes are the background of this observation. Observations were made on biology teachers and class XI students at SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda, SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda, and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis. Based on the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires, several problems were obtained in classroom learning, including the lack of student motivation, due to conventional learning (lecture methods and less variety), the lack of opportunities for students to express ideas, and the lack of learning resources. The purpose of this study was to examine problems related to the level of critical thinking skills, learning motivation, and student learning outcomes. The research subjects were biology teachers and class XI students at SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda, SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda, and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda students were 70.68% (medium predicate), SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda was 71.49% (medium predicate) and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis was 71.09% (medium predicate). Furthermore, the data analysis of students' learning motivation of SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda, SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda, and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis respectively were as follows 78.64%, 79.92%, and 78.05% with the same predicate, namely good. Then the student learning outcomes showed SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda was 77.73% (enough predicate), SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda was 78.27% (enough predicate) and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis was 78.35% (enough predicate). students at SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda, SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda, and SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis it can be concluded that the results of critical thinking skills, learning motivation, and student learning outcomes without using learning media have a major influence on the learning process.

Abstract

Learning Media Development of Problem Based Instruction Method Toward Student Outcome and The Skill’s of Writing Scientific Report Teachers can develop learning tools according to their needs in Biology lessons. This study aims to determine the results of needs analysis, validation analysis, usefulness to improve the ability to write reports, analysis of the effectiveness of the development of the device. This research is a development research using quantitative and qualitative methods. Previously, researchers took data analysis of teacher needs, more than 60% still did not use the device to the fullest, 75% of teachers had not yet made an assessment rubric. The learning kit was declared valid with a presentation of 89.6%. And there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in the control and experimental classes because t-count <-table = -20.96 <-1.67 at SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. Keywords: Learning Tools, PBI, Scientific Reports, Learning Outcomes Abstrak : Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Dan Kemampuan Menulis Laporan Ilmiah Biologi SMAN 2 Di Samarinda. Guru dapat mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam pelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis kebutuhan , analisis validasi, ketermanfaatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis laporan, analisis keefektifan pengembangan perangkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sebelumnya peneliti mengambil data analisis kebutuhan guru, lebih dari 60 % masih belum menggunakan perangkat secara maksimal, guru 75 % belum membuat rubrik penilaian. Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid dengan presentasi 89,6 %. Dan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol dan eksperimen karena thitung <-ttabel = -20,96 <-1,67 di SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes in Biology subjects due to the lack of use of varied learning models. This study aims to describe the comparison of Biology learning outcomes through STAD learning model, and Jigsaw on students conducted in April to May 2017. Data collection in this research is obtained from the test method. The data obtained from the test method were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical techniques (t-test), using SPSS version 23. The study showed, (1) there was comparison of learning outcomes among students who studied STAD learning model with conventional model. Based on statistical results obtained sig value. 0,000 <0.05; (2) there is comparison of learning result among students learning Jigsaw learning model with conventional model, this result is in accordance with statistical result where sig.0,000 <0,05. Abstrack.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Biologi dikarenakan masih kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan hasil belajar Biologi melalui model pembelajaran STAD dan Jigsaw, pada siswa yang dilaksanakan pada Bulan April sampai Mei 2017. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari metode tes. Data yang didapatkan dari metode tes dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistif inferensial (uji-t), dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Penelitian menunjukkan, (1) ada perbandingan hasil belajar antar siswa yang belajar model pembelajaran STAD dengan model konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil statistik diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05; (2) ada pebandingan hasil belajar antar siswa yang belajar model pembelajaran Jigsaw dengan model konvensional, hasil ini sesuai dengan hasil statistik dimana nilai sig.0,000 < 0,05. Kata kunci: Model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Model Jigsaw.
