Abstract

The formation of Islamic character is a primary objective of Moral Faith learning in secondary schools, yet its achievement is influenced by pedagogical and spiritual factors. This study aims to examine the effects of teacher support and spiritual habituation on students’ Islamic character, as well as the mediating role of deep learning. A quantitative approach was employed involving 48 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta selected through saturation sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3. The results indicate that teacher support has a positive and significant effect on deep learning and Islamic character, while spiritual habituation significantly influences deep learning but not Islamic character directly. Deep learning does not significantly affect Islamic character and does not mediate the proposed relationships. These findings highlight the central role of teachers and contextual spiritual reinforcement in shaping students’ Islamic character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis representasi nilai amanah dan kejujuran dalam buku ajar AKIDAH Akhlak Sekolah Dasar kelas IV semester I. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten terhadap buku yang digunakan secara resmi dalam pembelajaran madrasah ibtidaiyah. Analisis difokuskan pada cara penyajian nilai melalui uraian konsep, ilustrasi, cerita teladan, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan latihan evaluatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku AKIDAH Akhlak telah memuat nilai amanah dan kejujuran secara konsisten dan selaras dengan tuntutan kurikulum, baik dari segi cakupan materi, akurasi konsep, maupun struktur penyajian. Nilai-nilai tersebut disampaikan melalui beragam bentuk, mulai dari penjelasan normatif hingga contoh kontekstual yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa. Namun demikian, kedalaman penyajian nilai belum merata; sebagian materi masih bersifat deskriptif dan kurang mendorong internalisasi nilai secara reflektif dan aplikatif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa efektivitas pendidikan karakter tidak hanya ditentukan oleh keberadaan nilai dalam buku ajar, tetapi juga oleh kualitas kontekstualisasi dan keterkaitannya dengan pengalaman nyata peserta didik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memetakan kekuatan dan kelemahan penyajian nilai akhlak dalam buku ajar, serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan materi pembelajaran AKIDAH Akhlak yang lebih aplikatif dan berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter siswa.

Abstract

A good law is a law that is in accordance with the law that lives in the community (living law) and in accordance with the reflection of the values prevailing in the community. In its development, living law has been accommodated in Article 2 paragraph (1) of the National Criminal Code. This research analyzes the formulation of living law provisions in the community in the National Criminal Code and its implications for Judges in making legal considerations in their decisions. This research uses normative juridical research method with statutory, historical, conceptual, analytical, and case approaches. The results showed that the formulation of Laws Living in Society in the National Criminal Code contained 15 provisions with five variations of terms such as “laws living in society”, “norms of decency”, “values of law and justice”, “local customary obligations”, and “fulfillment of customary obligations”, then the implications of laws living in society in the National Criminal Code have consequences for Judges can be a reference for adjudicating cases involving customary law and additional legal considerations. Although there are no Government Regulations and Regional Regulations regarding laws that live in the community, Judges are still obliged to explore legal values and a sense of justice that live in the community.
