Abstract

The purpose of engaging in the look at was to decide the effect of hand paddle exercise on the rate of 50 meter freestyle swimming in novice swimmers. This research technique makes use of a quasi-experimental method, which means that before being given this design treatment, it uses pretests. The studies design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The usage of the full sampling technique for sampling 30 people. The research instrument is that the entire sample performs a 50 meter freestyle swimming test. From the outcomes of records processing and evaluation using the facts normality check, hypothesis take a look at with the t test formulation, that exercises using hand paddle have an influence on 50 meters freestyle swimming speed. It may be seen from the results of statistics evaluation thru the calculation of the t-test formula with the criteria tcount (13.730) > ttable (1.70) with a belief level of 0.95 or 95% (α=0.05) and the quantity of samples (N = 30). Then the proposed speculation is ordinary. Training using hand paddle aids in the water really has an effect on 50-meter freestyle swimming speed. Based on the results of research on the effect of training using hand paddle aids which are thought to have an influence on 50-meter freestyle swimming speed, it turned out to have a significant influence on speed in 50-meter freestyle swimming at in novice swimmers of the pusri club. The implication of this study is that exercises using hand paddle aids can be done and used as an exercising program to improvement swimming speed in novice swimmers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of footwork exercises on agility, this research method is an experimental study that uses a one group pretest-posttest design. Consisting of 20 samples who were given pretests first and then given 16 dive treatments after which a posttest was carried out to determine the improvement. The instrument test used is the agility T-Test. The population in this study were badminton extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 BPR Ranau. The sampling used is total sampling, where the number of samples is equal to the population. Based on the table above, it can be seen that the conclusion P (T<=t) of two tails is 0.0000. That means the value is significant 0.0000 < 0.05, so this result shows that there is a significant difference. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which reads "There is an effect of footwork exercises on the agility of students who take part in extracurricular training at SMP N 1 BPR Ranau Tengah Sumatera Selatan" is indicated a, so there is a significant difference in footwork exercises on agility in badminton extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 BPR Ranau.

Abstract

Technology and education development are expected to make teachers easier to create and produce learning media used practically and efficiently. This study used the research development (R&D) method proposed by Borg and Gall, consisting of ten research steps. It aimed to develop a preliminary product design for a digital-based flexibility test measuring instrument. This research produces a body flexibility measurement tool for physical education subjects, particularly physical fitness. The participants of this study were Tanjung Lago 1 Public Middle School students validated, revised, and tested on small and large scales. Three experts validated this research through a questionnaire of various kinds of questions, i.e.1) an expert in sports tests and measurements, namely a lecturer at PGRI Palembang University (94% in the very compatible category), 2) an expert in electrical media from C.V. Cometronica Palembang (82% very appropriate category), and 3) the teacher of Physical education from SMPN 1 Tanjung Lago (97% very proper category). The three experts reveal that an average of 91% of the digital-based sit and reach box applied to measure flexibility tests is worthy. It is supported by the statistical results of small-scale trials with normality tests of 0.200, homogeneity tests of 0.785, and paired sample t-tests of 0.785, statistical results of large-scale trials with normality tests of 0.200, homogeneity tests of 0.64, and paired sample t-test of 0.299. This study indicates that the digital-based sit and reach box tool developed and tested for meeting validity and effectiveness can be implemented in teaching and learning activities. Key words: development, flexibility, digital.

Abstract

In this study, famale volleyball players from the OPBVP Prabumulih club will be evaluated to identify the impact of bench dip training on smash accuracy. A quasi-experiment with a pre test-post test one group design was employed as the methodology. There were 35 participants in the study's sample. The tool is a test of smashing abilities. After receiving therapy for 5 weeks with a frequency of exercise four times per week, it was discovered that the treatment in this study took the form of Bench Dip exercise. Based on study and data analysis findings, it was determined that tcount (15.29) was higher than ttabel(1.69) and that t count > ttabel caused H1 to be approved and H0 to be rejected. Therefore, H1 may be accepted, indicating that striking the ball hanging has an impact on improving the precision of the volleyball smash during practice sessions of the OPBVP Prabumulih club. This study implies that a kind of workout called bench dips may be utilized to increase smash accuracy.
