Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the evaluation of online learning implementation due to Covid-19. The online learning done is a learning that uses information technology application. The research object is teachers in elementary school. Evaluation is done with survey method by asking teacher evaluations toward online learning implementation. The evaluation result shows that online learning has impacts on teacher skills and knowledge improvement, technology control, autonomic, creativity, self-sufficiency, improvement of student knowledge and skills, learning process and resources readiness such as teacher facility, readiness. Meanwhile, online learning does not significantly impact on mastery learning, effective interaction, improvement of characters, motivation and assessment accuracy. In conclusion, online learning impacts on academic improvement, but lesser impact on non-academic such as improvement of character building.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in schools, specifically focusing on Tetum language learning at Damea Liquitei Maubisse Elementary School. The study used a descriptive qualitative method to conduct field research involving the development team, teachers, and principals as key informants. The research sheds light on the concerted efforts to implement TQM in educational settings and its implications. Key areas of investigation include TQM goals in schools, challenges encountered in TQM application, and the tools utilized to develop Tetum language learning within the TQM framework. The findings contribute valuable insights to the broader discourse on enhancing educational quality through TQM practices.

Abstract

This research aims to explore HyFlex implementation management during the pandemic to provide a broader picture of its implementation and impact. This qualitative study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The articles studied totaled fifty domestic and foreign articles from ten data sources regarding the HyFlex learning model. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The research results found that 86% of the 50 research articles reviewed were the implementation of HyFlex at the higher education or university level. Apart from that, this research also analyzes the management of HyFlex implementation based on Terry's management function theory, namely the planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC) functions. The findings also discuss the challenges experienced during the implementation of HyFlex, which consisted of technology problems, lack of student involvement, increased teacher workload, difficulty dividing attention among students, lack of guidance, and stress. Of these six challenges, this study also discusses the solutions taken to overcome these problems. In addition, the impact and perceived effectiveness of HyFlex are also addressed in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Discord-based career information service management model to enhance students' career planning abilities. This research method used research and development with the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developmental research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga, with teachers and students as the research subjects. The results of the study were validated using technical triangulation and source triangulation techniques. Data analysis utilized the interactive model for qualitative data and descriptive analysis for quantitative data. The IT expert validation resulted in a score of 92%, and the management expert validation yielded 90%. Additionally, the average trial results for teachers and students were 95.5% and 97.5%, respectively. Based on these findings, the development was categorized as excellent, feasible, and acceptable and can be utilized to enhance student's career planning abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model supervisi blended pada layanan BK untuk meningkatkan kinerja Guru BK. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan model Borg & Gall sampai pada tahapan ke lima. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, studi dokumentasi serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan model supervisi Blended pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang terdiri dari: buku model, dan buku panduan bagi supervisor dan Guru BK. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli yang dilakukan ahli supervisi bimbingan dan konseling menyatakan bahwa model supervisi blended pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling ini memiliki kategori baik (79,3%), pada validasi ahli yang dilakukan oleh ahli teknologi informasi menyatakan desain media dan buku panduan berada pada kategori sangat baik (90%). Pada uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan terhadap kepala sekolah dan Guru BK berada pada semua aspek dengan kategori sangat baik 85,83% yang dapat diartikan bahwa model supervisi blended efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja Guru BK. Kata kunci: model supervisi blended, layanan bimbingan dan konseling, kinerja guru

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the principal's decision-making on improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. To achieve this goal, the researchers used data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Students and teachers are the source of the research and the data is processed using a qualitative descriptive analysis to determine the impact of the Principal's Decision Making on improving the quality of Education at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. The results of the study show that: (1) The impact of the Principal's Decision Making at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan shows very significant results (2) Students at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan are very responsive and able to improve student achievement (3) The Impact of Influence on the Decision Making of the Principal towards teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan is very strong and shows positive results for the teaching and learning process at school.

Abstract

Guru dan kepala sekolah perlu memiliki kompetensi penulisan artikel ilmiah. Kemampuan penulisan artikel ilmiah berdampak pada pengembangan profesi dan karier. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan kepala dalam menulis artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan sekolah. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru dan kepala sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk daring. Materi pelatihan menitiberatkan pada penentuan topik, penulisan pendahuluan, metode, hasil dan pembahasan dan kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan menunjukkan bahwa aspek materi, fasilitas, metode, fasilitator, dan layanan administrasi mendapatkan apresiasi dari peserta dengan tingkat kepuasan sangat baik. Peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dengan nilai pretest berada pada angka 74 dan postest berada angka sebesar 80.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas pada pengelolaan sekolah dasar. Penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas dilakukan pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods) yang merupakan suatu metode penelitian yang menggabungkan antara penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah angket, wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1). Penerapan prinsip perencanaan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, pemanfaatan anggaran berdasarkan skala prioritas, pengawasan dan evaluasi mendapatkan tingkat ketercapaian dengan kategori baik; 2). Pembuatan laporan pertanggungjawaban yang tepat waktu dan sesuai format yang lengkap mendapatkan tingkat ketercapaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas pada pengelolaan sekolah dasar berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Pengaruh kepala sekolah dan pengawas pendidikan memerankan peranan penting bagi perkembangan guru sehingga penting untuk tidak hanya mengetahui tapi juga memahami dan mempraktekkan dengan baik tupoksi yang telah dirancang oleh pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek kepala sekolah dan guru bersertifikasi. Data kualitatif diambil melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dirancang mulai dari perencanaan bersama dengan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum kemudian dilanjutkan dengan membuat pedoman penilaian. Supervisi dilakukan bersama dengan guru yang sudah tersertifikasi, secara bersama-sama menilai setiap aspek pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan respon siswa. Hasil penilaian dievaluasi bersama untuk mendapatkan nilai sebagai cerminan keberhasilan pembelajaran. Guru yang nilai supervisinya kurang dari rentang nilai akan diundang oleh kepala sekolah untuk dibimbing dan difasilitasi terkait perbaikan teknik pembelajaran selanjutnya. Dari segi kendala yang ditemukan, hanya ketersediaan laptop dan proyektor untuk guru yang disupervisi yang masih kurang secara kuantitas.

Abstract

There needs to be better relationships between parents and schools to improve student discipline and increase achievement. Collaboration between parents and teachers should improve student discipline and achievement. This research aims to create an Android-based SIGAP application to increase the effectiveness of student management. This research is development research using the Borg and Gall model. The research subjects were the Principal, Deputy Principal for Student Affairs, teachers, students, and parents. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis for quantitative data and the Miles and Huberman model for qualitative data. The resulting product is an Android-based SIGAP application, a book containing a description of the SIGAP application, a guide for teachers, a guide for students, and a guide for parents. Product Validation Results ICT experts validated the SIGAP Application with results of 89% and management experts with 96% or a very good title. Trials are given to teachers, students, and parents. The test results for teachers were 93%, for students 92%, and for parents 85%. The conclusion is that the SIGAP application is effective to use.
