Abstract

Penelitian merupakan salah satu cara ilmiah untuk mengatasi permasalahan hidup manusia. Dalam menjawab permasalahan hidup manusia, setiap penelitian menggunakan prosedur tertentu. Salah satunya adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian pengembangan merupakan salah satu alternatif prosedur penelitian untuk menjawab persoalan hidup manusia. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis konsep, jenis, tahapan, dan kelebihan penelitian pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data penulisan ini melalui kajian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan systematic literature review. Data dikumpulkan melalui review terhadap teori dan hasil penelitian pengembangan terdahulu. Sumber literature review adalah buku, jurnal nasional dan internasional. Analisis data dilakukan melalui content analysis, yaitu pembahasan mendalam terhadap teori yang relevan dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan data-data tersebut. Hasil kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan prosedur penelitian pengembangan dalam penelitian ilmiah bertujuan untuk menghasilkan inovasi baru berupa produk atau model. Perancangan produk atau model diawali dari analisis masalah, desain dan pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Karena telah melalui proses validasi dan uji coba berkali-kali, produk atau model yang dihasilkan memiliki tingkat kebaharuan dan efektifitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

Effective management of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) can create a literate culture of school members and improve students' literacy skills. However, in reality, the implementation of GLS in schools cannot be carried out according to the objectives of GLS because of the obstacles faced by teachers. One of them is that teachers do not understand the stages and technical implementation of GLS well. This development research aims to develop a Google Classroom-based GLS management training module for junior high school teachers. This type of research is Research and Development (RND) research using the ADDIE model approach. The subjects in this study consisted of material expert validators, ICT experts, principals and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observations, documentation studies, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out using mixed methods. Qualitative data was analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model and quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive quantitative and T-test. The product of this research is the Google Classroom-based literacy training E-module. The results of product testing by expert validation and prospective users in the module product trial were in the category of feasible and effective for use in GLS management training. Through this training module, it is expected that teachers can learn and utilize it as a guide in carrying out GLS activities that are more varied and have an impact on improving students' literacy competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the school literacy initiative program at SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. This research is evaluative and uses the CIPPO model. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the research data is tested for credibility using triangulation techniques, which consist of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis involves description, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results based on the context aspect show that the literacy initiative program (GLS) is essential. Regarding the input aspect, the GLS program meets the school's needs in addressing low student literacy skills and is supported by adequate human resources, budget, and infrastructure. In the process aspect, the GLS program was carried out well according to the plan, although some teachers need reminders about the SOP. The product of the GLS program implementation includes improvements in students' reading ability, reading comprehension, and writing skills. This is evidenced by students’ works, such as writing competitions, poetry, friendship stories, and creating clippings about earth's surface features and the environment. The outcome or impact of the results is that students gain new knowledge and vocabulary, become creative and innovative, and are able to develop their imagination by writing poetry and short stories. Additionally, students become more confident in presenting their own work.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas pada pengelolaan sekolah dasar. Penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas dilakukan pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods) yang merupakan suatu metode penelitian yang menggabungkan antara penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah angket, wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1). Penerapan prinsip perencanaan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, pemanfaatan anggaran berdasarkan skala prioritas, pengawasan dan evaluasi mendapatkan tingkat ketercapaian dengan kategori baik; 2). Pembuatan laporan pertanggungjawaban yang tepat waktu dan sesuai format yang lengkap mendapatkan tingkat ketercapaian dengan kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas pada pengelolaan sekolah dasar berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Supervisi pendidikan merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Di SD Negeri 07 Sandai, implementasi supervisi dilakukan untuk memastikan proses pembelajaran berjalan efektif dan sesuai standar yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak supervisi pendidikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan secara berkala dan sistematis mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru, serta memperbaiki strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan di kelas. Kesimpulannya, supervisi pendidikan di SD Negeri 07 Sandai berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan mendorong terciptanya lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Background: PAUD Tunas Harapan, an early childhood education center, faces challenges in improving educational quality through the accreditation process, which relies heavily on group dynamics and teamwork among educators and staff. Ineffective team coordination often hinders the institution from meeting required standards. Purpose: This study aims to examine the impact of group behavior and teamwork on accreditation quality at PAUD Tunas Harapan and to identify factors and strategies that support the team’s success in achieving accreditation standards. Design/method/approach: A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews and observations with the school principal, teachers, and accreditation assessors. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in group behavior and team dynamics. Results: The findings reveal that structured communication, collaborative leadership, regular evaluations, and a shared vision are key factors in improving accreditation quality. Effective coordination and collaboration were shown to help overcome challenges and enhance team productivity. Contribution/value: This study contributes insights into the application of group dynamics and teamwork theories in early childhood education settings. The recommendations provided may assist PAUD and similar institutions in improving accreditation quality through more adaptive and collaborative team strategies.

Abstract

The improvement of teacher performance in elementary schools is the focus of this study, which seeks to identify and prove the significant relationship between academic supervision by the principal and the enhancement of teaching effectiveness. The study involved 17 teachers from SD Negeri 51 Sungai Kunyit in the Sekadau Hilir District of Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan Province, and employed a questionnaire instrument based on a Likert scale, using a quantitative approach and survey method. With a significance value of 0.000 ( 0.005) and a correlation of 65.2%, the results of the linear regression analysis revealed that academic supervision by the principal significantly influenced teacher performance. Improving teacher performance can be achieved through effective academic supervision, as emphasized by these findings. To improve the teaching process, support teachers' professional development, and enhance the quality of school programs and student achievements, it is recommended that principals strengthen their qualifications and supervisory competencies to provide more comprehensive guidance.

Abstract

Obstacles, solutions, and follow-up actions in implementing academic supervision are essential to evaluate the success of the program. Follow-up activities can include providing feedback to teachers to discuss findings from the supervision process. Effective follow-up ensures that the results of academic supervision contribute significantly to enhancing teacher professionalism. This study aims to explore: 1) The obstacles encountered during academic supervision in schools. 2) The follow-up actions taken by principals after conducting academic supervision for teachers. 3) The outcomes of these follow-up actions on teacher performance. 4) This research employs a qualitative approach, focusing on descriptive data to analyze the forms, processes, and results of follow-up activities following academic supervision in schools. The findings reveal that academic supervision and the subsequent coaching activities carried out by school principals play a crucial role in improving teacher performance through effective follow-up.

Abstract

Preparing scientific work is a crucial skill, especially for academics, researchers and students. However, not all individuals have access to direct training or have sufficient skills in preparing scientific papers. This research aims to evaluate training programs in developing "best practice" scientific work for teachers and provide recommendations for improving training programs. The method used in this research is evaluation using the Kirkpatrick model which includes evaluating reactions, learning, behavior and results using a mixed method approach, namely the Concurrent Embedded Model. Quantitative data was collected using test, questionnaire and assignment techniques. Qualitative data was collected using interview techniques, observation and document study. Research subjects included teachers, principals, coaches and committee members. Quantitative data was analyzed descriptively by calculating percentages, categorization, and T test. Qualitative data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the reaction stage was at the very satisfied category level; increasing the domains of knowledge, attitudes and skills identified at the learning stage; while the behavior and outcome stages are at the good category level. Organizing e-training can meet the expectations and needs of participants, mable to increase participants' knowledge and skills in writing scientific papers. The implications of the research for educational institutions need to plan ongoing mentoring programs for teachers in writing scientific papers, and schools need to provide opportunities for teachers to participate in various training courses in preparing scientific papers.

Abstract

Abstract The objective of this study is to determine the effect of servant leadership in improving teacher performance, school quality, and learning. The study used a literature review using reference books, national and international journals as a reference source. Data analysis used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that: 1) theoretically and conceptually, servant leadership has relevance to principals’ leadership; and, 2) practically, the relevant research results show a significant and positive influence of servant leadership on improving teacher performance, school organization, and improving the quality of learning. Key Words : Leadership, Servant, Principal, Performance, Quality Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan pelayan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, mutu sekolah dan pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan menggunakan referensi buku, jurnal nasional dan internasional sebagai sumber rujukan. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) secara teoritis dan konseptual, kepemimpinan pelayan memiliki relevansi terhadap kepemimpinan kepala sekolah; dan, 2) secara praktis, hasil penelitian yang relevan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dan positif kepemimpinan pelayan terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru, organisasi skeolah dan perbaikan mutu pembelajaran.
