Abstract

An effective educational curriculum must be able to integrate the development of students' knowledge and character, especially in facing the challenges of the modern era. Based on these needs, the Full Fulfill curriculum  was developed to combine aspects of academic knowledge with character formation through in-depth learning approaches, namely Mindful Learning, Meaningful Learning, and Joyful Learning. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of the Full Fulfill curriculum  in improving the quality of learning and shaping students' character through the habit of positive behavior, such as healthy living habits and society. This approach is designed so that students not only receive theoretical knowledge, but also engage in holistic self-development, which includes physical, social, and emotional aspects. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The sample consisted of students and teachers at several schools that have implemented this curriculum. Data analysis was carried out by referring to the theories of character education and active learning approaches to ensure the relevance and success of the curriculum. The results of the study show that the Full Fulfill curriculum  is effective in facilitating students to learn deeply and form good habits, such as the habit of waking up early, worshipping, exercising, loving to study, eating healthy, socializing, and sleeping on time. In addition, five main strategies—counseling guidance training, teacher competency improvement, character building, appointment of BK teachers, and a nutritious lunch program—play a significant role in supporting the implementation of this curriculum. The Full Fulfill curriculum  offers a holistic approach, emphasizing a balance between knowledge and character building in a supportive educational environment. These findings contribute to the development of a modern curriculum that is more adaptive to the needs of today's students, with the hope that this curriculum can be widely applied to achieve sustainable and holistic educational outcomes.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss how the impact of conflict on the development of education in Aceh today, because Aceh as a conflict area have different conditions with other areas in indonesia, especially in the development of education. This paper is prepared using a literature study approach, in which data are collected from secondary sources in the form of documents related to current educational development, as well as the results of research related to conflict and educational development. Current conditions indicate that Aceh's educational participation is growing rapidly and exceeding than other areas not affected by the conflict. Conflict has contributed to the acceleration of educational development for the people of Aceh today. The success of educational development is indicated by the increasing number of educational development indicators (APS, APM, HLS, ARLS etc) that surpass the national average. When compared to other areas not exposed to conflict, the development of education in Aceh is quite successful.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the 7 Kejora Literacy Community Program on the academic and non-academic potential of students at MA Al-Huda. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation over three months. The results indicate that this program successfully enhances students' reading interest, writing skills, and critical thinking abilities. Students’ achievements in poetry competitions and published works illustrate significant development in their literacy skills. Moreover, the program has contributed to improving students’ communication skills, which are essential for interactive learning. These findings align with modern literacy theories emphasizing the integration of critical thinking and communicative abilities in education. This study recommends the continuous development of literacy programs and their implementation in other schools to maximize their positive impact in shaping a literate young generation ready to compete in the information era.

Abstract

This reflective paper aims to discuss the importance of using a cultural approach to resolve political conflicts and see the past as a learning space to create a civilization in the present and future. In the context of conflict, Aceh has become a medium for learning how the political conflict between GAM and the Indonesian government is resolved. The experience of past conflicts, a series of failed negotiations, and the cultural approach to the Helsinki negotiations, in parallel, serve as important lessons and evidence that historical-humanism does not work in a vacuum. This article illustrates that a cultural approach is a key to successful negotiations for a resolution. This is due to several things: first, building an estuary of peace with a cultural approach taking into account the representations and interests of the two conflicting parties, related to technicalities and mechanisms and matters of a substantive nature. Second, understanding and appreciating the perspective of others is important to know what messages and aspirations have not been conveyed properly so far. And third, acknowledging past mistakes and sins, then sincerely and boldly apologizing to those who were hurt, is a form of acknowledging regret for what has been done.AbstrakTulisan reflektif ini bertujuan untuk membahas pentingnya menggunakan pendekatan budaya untuk menyelesaikan konflik politik dan melihat masa lalu sebagai ruang belajar untuk menciptakan peradaban di masa sekarang dan masa depan. Dalam konteks konflik, Aceh menjadi media pembelajaran bagaimana konflik politik antara GAM dan pemerintah Indonesia diselesaikan. Pengalaman konflik masa lalu, serangkaian negosiasi yang gagal, dan pendekatan kultural terhadap negosiasi Helsinki, secara paralel, menjadi pelajaran dan bukti penting bahwa humanisme-historis tidak bekerja dalam ruang hampa. Artikel ini menggambarkan bahwa pendekatan budaya adalah kunci keberhasilan negosiasi untuk sebuah resolusi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa hal: pertama, membangun muara perdamaian dengan pendekatan budaya dengan memperhatikan representasi dan kepentingan kedua pihak yang bertikai, terkait teknis dan mekanisme serta hal-hal yang bersifat substantif. Kedua, memahami dan menghargai cara pandang orang lain penting untuk mengetahui pesan dan aspirasi apa yang selama ini belum tersampaikan dengan baik. Dan ketiga, mengakui kesalahan dan dosa masa lalu, kemudian dengan tulus dan berani meminta maaf kepada yang tersakiti, merupakan bentuk pengakuan penyesalan atas apa yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang posisi Ulama Aceh sebagai roh kebudayaan untuk proses rekonsiliasi pasca konflik Aceh. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks sosio kultural masyarakat aceh, posisi ulama masih menempati strata yang tinggi. Kontribusi dan peran ulama dalam lintas sejarah hingga saat ini telah mengakar dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat Aceh. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa dimensi kultural ulama sebagai ruh kebudayaan masyarakat Aceh dapat menjadi solusi dari rekonsiliasi Aceh untuk perdamaian yang berkelanjutan. Hal ini berarti bahwa pelibatan ulama aceh secara praktis dalam kerja rekonsiliasi dapat menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung perdamaian berkelanjutan di Aceh.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss Thorstein Veblen's perspective about the behavior of waste or excessive consumption by the leisure class. This article uses the library researchto understanding the perspective of Veblen's theory of consumption. We review Veblen's work, The Theory of the Leisure Class, as the main note complemented by relevant books and journals to support this study. The leisure class in this regard act deliberately to display their wealth. The newly rich group flaunted the luxury of their life with a motive to accommodate their desire for social respect and social status. The leisure class realizes their social actions through conspicuous leisure time consumption and conspicuous consumption of goods characterized by imitative and emulative behavior among the actors involved in it. The conspicuous consumption behavior produces lite taste which in turn has a social impact that affects the class behavior of the lower strata.AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan sudut pandang Thorstein Veblen dalam melihat perilaku konsumsi berlebihan yang dilakukan oleh kelas sosial tertentu dalam masyarakat. Studi ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dalam memahami perspektif teori konsumsi Veblen. Data dalam artikel ini bersumber dari karya-larya Veblen sendiri, The Theory of the Leisure Class, serta buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang relevan dalam mendukung artikel ini. Perilaku ini rupanya lahir dari sebuah konteks sosial dimana kelompok orang kaya baru mencoba mengakomodasi hasrat mereka akan penghargaan sosial dan status sosial. Hal ini diwujudkan melalui konsumsi waktu luang mencolok dan konsumsi barang mencolok yang ditandai dengan perilaku imitatif dan emulatif diantara aktor-aktor yang terlibat di dalamnya. Perilaku konsumsi mencolok menghasilkan selera elite yang selanjutnya meluas dan berdampak secara sosial dimana mempengaruhi perilaku kelas dari strata yang lebih rendah

Abstract

The tsunami disaster in December 2004 was the momentum of Aceh peace which resulted in the Helsinki MoU on August 15, 2005. After that, the political constellation and contestation in Aceh were not dominated by national parties but was influenced by the local dimension, namely the local party and former members of the movement who are involved in practical politics. Political stages as a new means of struggle to realize the ideals of post-peace produce satisfying results, former combatants and local parties succeed in winning Aceh political contestation. its means that the people of Aceh have high expectations to local parties to build Aceh. Thus, the decline of the national party since the 2009 election shows that public trust for the national party is very low. The victory of local parties in political contestation in Aceh would certainly be a signal for national parties to make changes to accommodate local interests and movement's actors in a composition of the party in Aceh.Keywords: Political Constellation, Local Party, Aceh

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh angkatan kerja, UMKM, dan sektor jasa terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi pada periode 2014–2024. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kontribusi tenaga kerja dan sektor usaha dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi regional, terutama setelah dinamika global dan dampak pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS, sedangkan data yang dianalisis bersumber dari publikasi resmi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Jambi serta jurnal ilmiah relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen, yaitu angkatan kerja, UMKM, dan sektor jasa, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Angkatan kerja terbukti memiliki kontribusi positif yang konsisten, sedangkan UMKM meskipun dengan nilai koefisien kecil tetap berperan penting dalam distribusi pendapatan dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Sektor jasa menunjukkan peran strategis dalam pergeseran struktur ekonomi Provinsi Jambi dari sektor primer menuju sektor tersier yang lebih modern. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,760 menegaskan bahwa 76 persen variasi pertumbuhan ekonomi dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel penelitian, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model seperti investasi, kebijakan fiskal, dan kondisi global. Uji F-Test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,002 yang mengonfirmasi pengaruh simultan variabel independen terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pemerintah daerah untuk memperkuat kebijakan ketenagakerjaan, memberdayakan UMKM, serta meningkatkan kualitas sektor jasa sebagai strategi pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
