Abstract

ABSTRAK Penebangan hutan secara liar guna memperluas area tanaman kentang di wilayah Dieng, berakibat menurunnya tingkat keanekaragaman hayati. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Jawa Tengah (2001), hanya ditemukan kurang dari 50 jenis tumbuhan per hektar, sehingga dikategorikan sebagai kawasan miskin jenis tumbuhan dan perlu dilakukan upaya untuk mengatasi kerusakan lingkungan di dataran tinggi Dieng melalui konservasi lingkungan. Agar konservasi lingkungan berhasil, perlu adanya database kondisi lingkungan sehingga diperoleh cara konservasi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan di dataran tinggi Dieng sebagai database guna upaya konservasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksplorasi secara langsung di lokasi penelitian melalui pengamatan, pengukuran, pemetaan, dan wawancara dengan petani dan aparat terkait. variabel yang akan diukur adalah tingkat kerusakan fisik lahan, kerusakan biologis lingkungan, dan aspek demografi, ekonomi, sosial dan budaya masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara fisik, tingkat kerusakan lahan pertanian semakin parah, sehingga menurunkan produksi kentang di daerah ini. Secara biologis, tingkat keanekaragaman jenis tanaman liar berkisar antara 0,81 – 0,98, dan termasuk kategori rendah. Dari aspek perilaku penduduk dalam upaya konservasi, belum menunjukkan hasil, karena areal tanaman kentang menjadi semakin luas akibat penebangan hutan konservasi. Tingkat kerusakan lingkungan di daataran tinggi Dieng semakin parah, sehingga dapat menurunkan produksi kentang. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah perlunya dilakukan upaya pengelolaan dan konservasi kawasan Dataran Tinggi Dieng. Oleh karena kondisi geografisnya, pola usaha pertanian yang dilakukan di Dieng harus diikuti dengan kajian konservasi lahan, perlunya dicari tanaman pengganti kentang yang dapat mencegah terjadinya erosi. ABSTRACT Wild deforestation to expand potato cultivation area in Dieng Plateau has been reducing biodiversity. An assessment by Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Jawa Tengah in 2001 found less than fifty species vegetation per hectare in the area, which means poor diversity. This research aims to know the level of environmental damage in Dieng Plateau as a database for conservation attempts. The variables to assess will be the level of environmental damages, both physically and biologically, in connection with demographic, economic, societal, and cultural aspects. Physical observation showed that plantation area was seriously damaged, which reduced the potato crops. Whereas from biological observation, it was found that the vegetational diversity index was relatively low (0.81-0.98). From behavioral view, it seemed that the inhabitants have not fully supported the conservation attempts; it can be seen that the potato cultivation area has expanded as deforestation has also spread out. As a result, waters resources have depleted significantly. From the current research, it was concluded that the level of environmental damage in Dieng Plateau was seriously damaged. It was suggested to manage the Dieng Plateau area. Due to unique geographical conditions, plantation design implemented in the area should be followed by conservation review. To prevent erosion, it is important to find substitutes to potatoes

Abstract

ABSTRAKKawasan Wisata Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (KWPLH) beruang madu (Helarctos malayanus) Balikpapan merupakan pusat pendidikan lingkungan yang dianggap sangat profesional, bersih dan dikelola dengan baik. Permasalahannya muncul pada tahun 2013 dengan adanya usulan relokasi beruang madu (dan enklosur) ke Km 10 (Arboretum Wana Wisata Inhutani), karena lokasi yang lama akan dialihfungsikan menjadi bumi perkemahan. Relokasi beruang madu ke habitat baru memerlukan kajian lingkungan yang mendalam untuk menentukan kelayakan lokasi baru sebagai habitat beruang madu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian lingkungan rencana relokasi beruang madu di Balikpapan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei langsung dengan pengamatan dan pengukuran kondisi lingkungan (fisik/abiotik, biotik). Kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara digunakan untuk mengkaji aspek sosial-budaya di lokasi KWPLH beruang madu (Km 23) dan rencana relokasi di Km 10. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, observasi, dan analisis ketiga aspek lingkungan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Km 10 dapat digunakan untuk relokasi beruang madu. Namun untuk meminimalisir dampak sosial, direkomendasikan agar beruang madu di Km 23 tidak direlokasi, dan dibuat lagi enklosur beruang madu di Km 10 untuk merawat beruang madu hasil sitaan yang lain. ABSTRACT“Kawasan Wisata Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup” (KWPLH) of sun bear (Helarctos malayanus) Balikpapan is an environmental education center which is considered to be very professional, clean and well managed. The problem appeared in 2013 with the proposal of sun bear relocation (and enclosure) to Km 10 (Arboretum Wana Wisata Inhutani) because the old location will be converted into a camping ground . Sun bear relocation to a new habitat needs depth environmental study to determine the feasibility of the new location as sun bear habitat. This study aims to conduct an environmental study of sun bear relocation plan in Balikpapan. Research method used in this study is a direct survey method with observation and measurement of environmental conditions ( physical / abiotic, biotic, and socio-cultural) on the location KWPLH sun bear (Km 23) and relocation plan at Km 10, complemented by interviews and document analysis. Based on the results of measurement, observation, and analysis of those three environmental aspects , it can be concluded that the Km 10 can be used to relocate bears. However, to minimize the social impact, it is recommended that sun bears at Km 23 are not relocated, and another sun bear enclosure is made at Km 10 to treat the other of confiscated bears.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of learning media using Android-based mobile learning media on virus material to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is "research and development" with reference to the ADDIE model from the Robert Maribe Branch, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Students in classes X4 and X8 at SMA N-1 MOJOTENGAH for the 2021-2022 academic year are the focus of this study. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using a descriptive quantitative test (N-gain). The results of the study showed: 1) mobile-learning media based on android on virus material as teaching material for class X was declared valid and feasible to use; 2) android-based mobile-learning media on virus material as teaching material for class X met very practical practicality criteria; and 3) mobile-learning media based on android on virus material can improve student learning outcomes in the moderate category.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan-lahan tersebut disamping mencukupi kebutuhan dapur café, juga dapat menghijaukan lingkungan café yang akan menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi pengunjung. Budidaya sayuran organic, menjadi daya tarik pengunjung café dan tentunya lebih segar dan sehat karena dipanen secara langsung. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ialah: Pengembangan Budidaya Sayuran Organik dalam Mendukung Makanan Sehat Café Pucuke Kendal mencakup aspek: pelatihan budidaya sayuran organic yang baik dan benar, fasilitasi peralatan dan bahan pertanian organik, serta produksi sayuran organic yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di Café Pucuke Kendal, dilakukan dengan beberapa metode kelompok, komprehensif dan potensi local. Dengan adanya ketiga metode tersebut, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak terhadap KT Wana Berkah Lestari yang menjadi mitra binaan, baik berupa aspek Pendidikan lingkungan, produksi. Serta fasilitasi program. Sesuai dengan tujuan kegiatan, maka hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini ialah: Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada mitra pengabdian dalam pemanfaatan lahan kosong untuk budidaya sayuran organic, telah tersedianya sarana prasarana dalam pengembangan sayuran organic di lingkungan Café Pucuke Kendal; dan adanya budidaya sayuran organic di lingkungan café, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan café akan sayuran yang mendukung olahan menu makanan Café Pucuke Kendal.

Abstract

AbstrakBeruang madu (Helarctos malayanus) merupakan salah satu fauna  yang dilindungi  perundang-undangan Indonesia. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah kepunahan beruang madu adalah melalui konservasi. Kawasan Wisata Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (KWPLH) beruang madu di Balikpapan dinilai memiliki cara konservasi ex-situ yang terbaik di Asia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji cara konservasi beruang madu di KWPLH Balikpapan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei langsung,  wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara fisik, ekologis, dan aspek sosial masyarakat, KWPLH beruang madu Balikpapan cukup baik sebagai habitat untuk konservasi beruang madu, sekaligus sebagai kawasan untuk pembelajaran lingkungan hidup. Cara konservasi ini layak digunakan sebagai model konservasi satwa liar yang lain. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah perluasan area enklosur beruang madu sesuai dengan daerah jelajahnya, sehingga diharapkan dapat bereproduksi secara normal. Dengan demikian keberhasilan konservasi secara ex-situ dapat dicapai. AbstractSun Bear (Helarctos malayanus) is one of the protected fauna legislation Indonesia. Efforts should be made to prevent the extinction of the sun bear is through conservation. Sun Bear Kawasan Wisata Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (KWPLH) in Balikpapan is considered have the best way of ex-situ conservation in Asia. This study aims to study how the sun bear conservation in KWPLH Balikpapan. The research method used are direct surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that physically, ecologically, and as society aspect, Sun Bear KWPLH Balikpapan is good enough as a habitat for the conservation of the sun bear, as well as the area for environmental learning. This conservation is feasible used as a wildlife conservation model. We suggest that the xpansion area of sun bear’s enclosure is feasible to its home range, so it is expected to have normal reproduction. Thus the success of ex -situ conservation can be achieved.

Abstract

Pada saat ini undur-undur banyak dicari oleh manusia karena mengandung zat anti diabetes. Jika tidak ada semut yang terjebak di lubang undur-undur, maka undurundur tidak akan memperoleh makanan yang dikhawatirkan menurunkan kesintasan undur-undur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai jenis umpan semut terhadap kesintasan undur-undur. Jenis bahan makanan yang dapat mengundang semut yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa air gula, sirup dan kulit udang. Kesintasan hidup undur-undur diamati selama 3 bulan. Data kesintasan hidup undur-undur dianalisis dengan menggunakan Anava Dua jalur serta berat dan panjang undur-undur dianalisis dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesintasan undur-undur terjadi pada semua perlakuan yakni pada umpan semut yang berupa air gula, sirup dan kulit udang, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah undur-undur yang hidup hingga akhir penelitian sebanyak 93-97%, pada kelompok tanpa perlakuan (alami) kesintasannya hanya 80%. Umpan semut kulit udang mendatangkan 2 jenis semut sedangkan umpan semut air gula dan sirup hanya mendatangkan masing-masing satu jenis semut. Semut tersebut menjadi makanan undur-undur dan meningkatkan kesintasan dan pertumbuhan undur-undur. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian umpan semut sebagai makanan undur-undur dapat meningkatkan kesintasan undur-undur.Gratus much sought after by humans at this time because it contains anti-diabetic agent. If there are no ants are trapped in the hole gratus, then gratus will not get food that may reduce survivorship gratus. The aim of this research is to to determine the effect of various types of ant bait to survivorship gratus. Types of food that can invite ants used in this research is in the form of sugar water, syrup and shrimp shells. Survivorship life gratus observed for 3 months. Data survivorship life gratus analyzed using ANAVA Two long lines and, heavy and gratus analyzed by t-test. The results showed that the survival rate gratus occurred in all treatment that is on the ant bait in the form of sugar water, syrup and shrimp shells. This is indicated by the number gratus living up to the end of the study as much as 93-97%, in the group without treatment (natural) survival rates of only 80%. Ant bait shrimp shells bring two types of ants ant bait water while sugar and syrup only bring one of each type of ant. The ants feed gratus and enhances survival and growth gratus. From the results of research and discussion can be concluded that feeding ants as food gratus can increase survivorship gratus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesintasan undur-undur pada media aklimatisasi. Penelitian dilakukan di rumah teduh Jalan Tumpang I/82 Semarang dan Laboratorium Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNNES. Variabel utamanya kesintasan undur-undur, berat dan panjang undur-undur, sedangkan variabel pendukungnya jenis media aklimatisasi, meliputi tanah kering, abu dan serbuk batu bata. Tahap awal, disiapkan media hidup undur-undur, media kemudian dimasukkan kedalam kotak aklimatisasi, diberi cangkup dan dibiarkan selama 10 hari. Undur-undur ditimbang dan diukur panjang tubuhnya kemudian dimasukkan kedalam kotak aklimatisasi, masing-masing kotak diisi15 undur-undur. Kesintasan hidup undur-undur pada masing-masing media diamati selama 45 hari, data diambil seminggu sekali. Undur-undur diberi makan 2 - 3 ekor semut sehari 3 kali. Setelah 45 hari undur-undur ditimbang dan diukur panjang tubuhnya kembali. Data kesintasan hidup undur-undur dianalisis menggunakan Anava Dua jalur. Berat dan panjang undur-undur dianalisis menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan undur-undur dapat sintas pada media aklimatisasi, yaitu tanah kering dan abu. Undur-undur mengalami pertambahan berat dan panjang sesudah penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa undur-undurdapat sintas pada media aklimatisasi yaitu tanah kering dan abu. Ukuran berat dan panjang undur-undur mengalami pertambahan sesudah penelitian. This research was aimed to know the survival of gratus at the acclimatization media. The research was held in the shady house at Jalan Tumpang I/82 Semarang and in the Laboratory of Biology Departement of FMIPA UNNES. The main variables were the survival of gratus, the weight and length of gratus, whereas the supporting variable was the acclimatization media, that is the dry sandy soil, the dust and the powder of bricks. Initially, the acclimatization media was prepared for the gratus, then the media was distributed into the boxes of acclimatization media and the box was covered and left unharmed for about 10 days. The gratus were weighed and the body length was measured, and the animals were placed into the boxes of acclimatization media, each box was filled with 15 gratus animals. The survival of gratus in each media was observed for 45 days, the data was taken once a week. The gratus were fed with 2-3 ants at 3 times a day. After 45 days the gratus were weighed and the body length were measured. The data of the gratus survival was analyzed using Tow-Way Anova. The weigh and the body length were analyzed using t-test. It was concluded that gratus can survive in the dry sandy soil and in the dust. The weight and body length were increased during the research

Abstract

The local potential of North Labuhanbatu Regency is very diverse, which has the potential as a source of learning on biodiversity material to develop scientific literacy needed in 21st-century learning. Scientific literacy enables students to apply science in everyday life, not just understanding science in concepts. This study aims to produce local potential-based electronic modules in North Labuhanbatu Regency that are feasible based on validity, readability, and effectiveness to train students' scientific literacy. This research is a research and development (R&D) with a 4-D development model and a one-shot case study research design. Based on the results of the validation test, a percentage score of 94.22% was obtained, including the very valid category. The readability results obtained a score of 89.66 which indicates excellent legibility. Posttest results showed an average of 81.81 with an average classical completeness of 84.05%, including in the excellent and effective category. Based on these results the development of a biodiversity electronic module based on local potential in North Labuhanbatu Regency was declared feasible based on validity, readability, and effectiveness as teaching materials.

Abstract

The local potential of Grobogan Regency is very diverse, which has the potential as a learning resource that can be integrated into learning biology on ecosystem material to improve students' critical thinking skills needed in the 21st century. Critical thinking enables students to apply decision-making abilities and solve problems in everyday life. day. This study aims to produce a module based on local potential in the Grobogan Regency that is feasible based on the validity, readability, and practicality of the module, and effectiveness to improve critical thinking skills. To develop critical thinking skills these students must obtain teaching materials that facilitate these skills. This research is a research and development (R&D) and one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research instruments were expert validation questionnaires by expert validators and teachers, and module readability and practicality questionnaires by teachers and students, effectiveness was measured from the results of the pretest and posttest conducted on students before and after using the module. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the validation test for ecosystem modules based on local potential, a score percentage of 85.58% was obtained, including the very valid category. The results of readability and practicality using local potential-based ecosystem modules obtained a score of 80.75% including the good category and 80.41% including the practical category. The N-gain results show an average of 0.62 in the medium category. Based on the results of the development of ecosystem modules based on local potential, Grobogan Regency was declared feasible based on validity, readability and practicality, and effectiveness as teaching materials.

Abstract

Kesadaran keberlanjutan sangat penting dimiliki oleh semua orang dan semua umur, perlu dimunculkan dan ditingkatkan. Kesadaran keberlanjutan akan berdampak luas dan panjang bagi kesejahteraan dan keberlangsungan kehidupan manusia. Demikian pula calon guru Biologi harus memiliki kesadaran keberlanjutan, untuk itu praktik harus diupayakan melalui program yang tepat yaitu melalui pembelajaran di Sekolah dengan melakukan praktik Pembelajaran Bermuatan Keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kesadaran keberlanjutan akibat praktik Pembelajaran Bermuatan Sustainability pada calon guru Biologi. Partisipan sebanyak 9 yang diperoleh dengan purposive sampling, mereka adalah mahaisiswa pendidikan Biologi semester 7 yang mengikuti program Praktik Pembelajaran di Sekolah (Magang 3). Selama di Sekolah mereka merencanakan, membuat dan melakukan Pembelajaran Bermuatan Sustainability. Selanjutnya di akhir Program, keterampilan Pembelajaran Bermuatan Sustainability diukur menggunakan rubrik, dan kesadaran sustainability diukur menggunakan tes survey. Diperoleh data bahwa keterampilan Pembelajaran Bermuatan Sustainability pada level Growing dan Maturing. Skor kesadaran sustainability kedua kelompok termasuk kategori tinggi. Kelompok Growing diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 0,7 dan kelompok Maturing diperelah rata-rata sebesar 0,9. Sebagian (40%) preferensi mahasiswa calon guru Biologi merujuk pada konsepsi sustainability yang terpisah-pisah aspeknya dengan dominan pada konsepsi aspek environmental sustainability, sisanya (60%) merujuk pada konsepsi sustainability secara terpadu (environmental, economic and social). Dengan demikian dapat memberikan pemahaman bahwa kesadaran sustainability yang maksimal terlihat dari pengetahuan sustainability yang baik, selanjutnya akan terlihat pada sikap kemudian tindakan.
