Abstract

Flashcard media is one of the learning media that can generate enthusiasm, student motivation, and can present something abstract into concrete, train memory, and improve students' vocabulary mastery. With several advantages of flashcard media that have been explained, researchers are interested in conducting similar research to see how flashcard media affects students' early reading skills. The use of flashcard media can later generate motivation in learning to read because it can be used through games. The method used by researchers is to use quantitative methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of flashcard learning media on the early reading skills of grade I in Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that, class IB students totaling 28 students consisting of a control class without using Flashcard media while class IA totaling 28 students as an experimental class using Flashcard media. This study was conducted 1 time treatment in the experimental class and control class with the same material, namely fraction material. The control class was held on June 4, 2024 and the experimental class was held on June 3, 2024. The data needed in this study was obtained.

Abstract

Pembelajaran deep learning menuntut guru untuk mampu menghadirkan proses belajar yang bermakna, aktif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Namun, masih terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang mendukung implementasi pembelajaran mendalam. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan media pembelajaran pendukung deep learning. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan sasaran guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Kutorejo, Kabupaten Mojokerto, menggunakan metode pelatihan interaktif, praktik pengembangan media, pendampingan, implementasi terbatas, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep deep learning serta kemampuan guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan aplikatif. Respon peserta terhadap kegiatan tergolong positif dan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi selama pelaksanaan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkuat kesiapan guru untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran deep learning secara berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of HOTS-based student worksheets in thematic learning. HOTS-based student worksheets were used in this study with the aim of actively interacting between teachers and students as well as students and students as well as improving learning outcomes and increasing students' higher-order thinking skills. The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out the thematic learning outcomes of students before and before being treated with HOTS-based student worksheets. This study uses experimental quantitative research on fourth grade students at State Elementary School. Dr.Sutomo V/327 Surabaya with a population of 281 students evenly distributed in 8 classes. The sampling technique in this study used a post-test only control group design technique. The research sample was students in grades IV A - IV H. The experimental class of learning using HOTS-based thematic worksheets and the control class were given lessons as is usually done in schools in the form of lectures and given demonstrations. The research was conducted at the public elementary school of Dr. Sutomo V/327 Surabaya. The research instrument used is a test (posttest). The results showed that the learning outcomes of students had increased by using the HOTS-based student worksheets in thematic learning Theme 3 Sub Theme 2 Learning 1 State elementary school students Dr. Sutomo V/327 Surabaya based on One Way Anova test with sig. less than 0.05.

Abstract

Keterbatasan sarana laboratorium, waktu praktik, dan hambatan logistik masih menjadi permasalahan utama dalam pelaksanaan praktikum sains pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD). Pemanfaatan laboratorium virtual, seperti OLABS (Online Labs), berpotensi menjadi solusi alternatif, namun dalam praktiknya masih cenderung digunakan secara prosedural dan belum mendorong pembelajaran yang mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan petunjuk praktikum laboratorium virtual berbasis OLABS yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan deep learning serta menguji efektivitas awal penggunaannya pada mahasiswa PGSD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, kemudian diimplementasikan secara terbatas pada 26 mahasiswa PGSD. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep sains yang sangat signifikan, ditandai dengan kenaikan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 56 menjadi posttest sebesar 96, dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,91 pada kategori tinggi. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi respons mahasiswa menunjukkan kategori sangat baik, yang mengindikasikan bahwa petunjuk praktikum mudah dipahami, praktis, dan bermanfaat dalam mendukung pembelajaran praktikum sains berbasis deep learning. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa petunjuk praktikum laboratorium virtual berbasis OLABS yang dikembangkan bersifat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa PGSD sebagai calon guru sekolah dasar serta berpotensi diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran praktikum sains di LPTK.

Abstract

This research addresses the need for adaptive and innovative learning strategies in the digital age. The study aimed to investigate the implementation of Assemblr EDU, an Augmented Reality (AR) platform integrated with an ethnopedagogical approach, to teach cultural diversity to fifth-grade students. The primary objective was to describe the implementation of Assemblr EDU and analyze student responses to its use. This research was conducted at SDN Dukuh Menanggal 1/424 Surabaya during the 2025/2026 academic year. Data sources included observations of teacher and student activities, as well as student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques involved direct observation using observation sheets and student response questionnaires. The research instruments included observation sheets of teacher and student activities, as well as student response questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative methods, calculating average percentages for observed aspects and student responses. The results showed that the ethnopedagogical-based implementation of Assemblr EDU was effectively implemented, transforming the concept of cultural diversity into a concrete and interactive learning experience. Both teacher and student activities demonstrated excellent performance, with high levels of student engagement, discipline, and enthusiasm. Student responses to Assemblr EDU were overwhelmingly positive, categorized as 'Very Strong' highlighting its benefits for knowledge, understanding, and motivation. The study concluded that this integrated approach significantly improved critical thinking skills and cultural appreciation among students. It is recommended that teachers continue to use Assemblr EDU and integrate local cultural values, and that schools provide adequate technological facilities to support such innovative.

Abstract

The high number of losses and casualties experienced by the Indonesian people is caused by various factors. One of the factors lies in the people who lack knowledge in dealing with climate phenomena. Student-teacher candidates must take an important role in solving climate problems. One solution is to predict climate phenomena. This study uses the ARIMA model to predict the El Niño La Niña & Indian Ocean Dipole phenomenon. The research method is the ARIMA model prediction steps using student worksheets. (1) know the model by determining ACF and PACF. (2) parameter model estimation determines ARIMA on predetermined ACF and PACF. The ARIMA parameter model is the slightest Mean Squared Error (MSE) level. (3) the diagnostic model of the smallest MSE. (4) a measure of predictive accuracy. And (5) Argumentation. Results In the IOD calculation, the correlation between the three-month prediction period is 0.92 and for six months is 0.96. This is the same as in the Nińo 3.4 correlation data. The value is close to 1, which is very accurate and can be used. The predicted value of the IOD index was expected. The resulting values ​​ranged from 0.01 to 0.17. This means that students are proficient in making climate predictions. Because students are enthusiastic and passionate about studying climate, it is a new science

Abstract

Analytical skill is the ability to describe the materials into parts or components that are more structured and easier to understand. Currently the students are still less than optimal in mastering the concepts of teaching materials. Mastery of concepts related to the ability of thinking related to the analytical skills of students. Think Talk Write (TTW) models can be used as an alternative to improve the analysis because this model is more emphasis on specialized structures designed to affect the pattern of interaction of students and has a goal to foster students' analytical skills. This study aims to determine the analytical skills of fourth grade students who were taught by using TTW models. This research was a quantitative research Quasi-Experimental Design with Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study were all students of class IV SDN Ketabang Surabaya academic year 2019/2020. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, a balance test and t test aided SPSS 22. The results showed that the analytical skills of fourth grade students who were taught by using the TTW model significantly better than the students who were taught by using a contextual model SDNKetabang Surabaya.

Abstract

Twenty-first-century learning requires the mastery of basic literacy skills from an early age. However, the utilization of interactive technology and teaching materials in elementary schools remains highly limited, especially in archipelagic areas with minimal digital infrastructure access. Therefore, this study aims to develop an effective, practical, and valid Google Site-based digital teaching material to improve the Indonesian language literacy skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Kabupaten Raja Ampat. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), adapting the modified Borg and Gall model into six continuous stages. The trial was conducted directly on 30 students to evaluate user responses and learning outcomes improvement. The development results indicate that this product is highly valid and practical, capable of presenting multimodal materials (text, images, videos) in a structured manner with a low-bandwidth interface design. Empirically, the use of this teaching material is proven effective and significantly improves students' literacy skills. This is characterized by an escalation in the final average scores for fluent reading by 30%, reading comprehension by 38%, and writing simple responses by 38%. In conclusion, the Google Site-based digital teaching material is proven highly effective and feasible to be implemented as an innovative solution to overcome the limited literacy learning resources sustainably in elementary education, particularly in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) areas. Abstract

The low level of waste literacy among elementary school students, along with the limited availability of engaging, contextually relevant learning media, has become a major challenge in fostering early environmental awareness. This Study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Uwuhpoly, an educational board game designed to improve waste literacy among elementary school students in Surabaya. The method R&D approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, Implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 142 students from Grades II to VI at an elementary school in Surabaya, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using waste literacy questionnaires (pretest–posttest), observation sheets, and teacher responses. Data analysis used descriptive statistical techniques and N-gain to assess improvements in students' waste literacy. The results of expert validation showed that Uwuhpoly received an average score of 4.51, indicating that the game is feasible for classroom implementation. The implementation results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ waste literacy, with pretest–posttest score increases ranging from 35.7% to 46.7%, and an overall literacy improvement of approximately 85%. Therefore, Uwuhpoly has strong potential to be integrated into science learning (IPA), civic education (PPKn), and the Pancasila Student Profile reinforcement program as an alternative environmental literacy–based learning medium in elementary schools.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh mahasiswa yang diposisikan sebagai objek, sehingga suasana belajar tampak kaku dan membosankan. Pencapaian tujuan yang akan diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan Tim Kuis TPACK dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran, respon siswa ketika mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Tim Kuis TPACK, kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa setelah menerapkan pendekatan Tim Kuis TPACK, dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi yang menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai alat penilaian, kuesioner menggunakan alat penilaian berupa lembar kuesioner respon siswa, wawancara menggunakan lembar instrumen wawancara dan tes menggunakan alat penilaian berupa lembar tes. Menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif sesuai dengan judul penelitian yaitu Penerapan Pendekatan TPACK pada Model Tim Kuis Bahan Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam bagi Siswa Kelas IV SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan TPACK Quiz Team dinilai sangat baik dengan hasil rata-rata 92,1%. (2) Berdasarkan kuesioner sebanyak 88,8% siswa memberikan respon yang baik/senang, (3) Kesulitan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa saat menerapkan pendekatan Tim Kuis TPACK adalah mahasiswa tidak terbiasa karena baru mengenal model tersebut. (4) Dan memperoleh rata-rata tes hasil belajar, yaitu 87 dapat dikatakan sangat baik.perangkat lunak konferensi dikategorikan dengan sangat baik. Karena siswa hampir semua memenuhi kategori tersebut.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan TPACK, Model Tim Kuis, Hasil Belajar AbstractThis research was motivated by students being positioned as objects, so the learning atmosphere seemed stiff and boring. The  achievement of the objectives to be obtained in this study is to describe the application of the TPACK Quiz Team approach from the implementation of learning, student responses when participating in learning with the TPACK Quiz Team approach, the difficulties faced by students after applying the TPACK Quiz Team approach, and student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection method used is observation which uses an observation sheet as a tool to asses, a questionnaire using an assessment tool in the form of a student response questionnaire sheet, interviews using an interview instrument sheet and a test using an assessment tool in the form of a test sheet. Using a descriptive analysis method in accordance with the title of the study, namely the Application of the TPACK Approach to the Quiz Team Model for Natural Resources Conservation Materials for Class IV Students at Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that (1) The implementation of learning with TPACK Quiz Team approach is calassified as very good with an average result of 92.1%. (2) Based on the questionnaire as many as 88.8% of student gave a good/happy responses, (3) The difficulties experienced by students when applying the TPACK Quiz Team approach were students were not used to it because they were new to the model. (4) And obtained the average learning outcomes test, which is 87 can be said to be very good.conference software is categorized very well.
