Abstract

Forest functions as a provider of environmental services and non-timber forest products (NTFP) should be considered in the fiscal transfer mechanism of central and local governments. Thus, it is necessary to shift the direction of fiscal policy in the forestry sector from timber revenue to green fiscal policy. The preparation of the green fiscal policy framework requires a series of stages analysis: policy instruments, stakeholder and the role of scientists in the formulation of green fiscal policy. The objective of this study is to analyze the role and influence of scientists in green fiscal policy making. Scientists are expected to be a bridge so that the concept of green fiscal funding policy can be formulated and implemented based on scientific theories. This research was conducted in Jambi Province. Data collection and information was done through interview, observation and literature study. Data were analyzed using scientist classification matrix that influenced the policy making process based on the level of independence and its influence. The results showed that the role and position of scientists in green fiscal policy making is divided into the honest broker of policy alternative and advocate issues,. The influence of scientists is limited to the preparation of academic texts.

Abstract

Commmunity Plantation Forest is Indonesian government policy which needed participation and responsibility from local community to manage production forest sustainability. Studies on capacity of community as prominent agent are needed. The objectives of this study are: (1) to assess the physical capital, human capital and social capital of communities and to identify their participation in HTR program; (2) to analyze the correlation between physical capital and human capital with elements of social capital, and between social capital with their participation in HTR; and (3) to develop implementation strategy of HTR. Analysis of data used descriptive method, Spearman rank correlation, SWOT and QSPM. Necessary information for this study came from a survey of 81 households from Taman Bandung, Seko Besar and Lamban Sigatal villages in Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. The results showed that physical capital, human capital and social capital are included in medium category. No correlation between physical capital and social capital, but there are correlation between social capital and human capital and participation. The study also showed that selected strategy in HTR implementation are: (1) accommodate exiting community models in forest land as community motivation; (2) optimize local government support to accelerate license process, assistance, and intensive socialization about HTR; and (3) use timber scarcity issues and PT Samhutani as market opportunity issues to stimulating community to plant timber.

Abstract

Kawah Putih is one of the leading tourist places in Bandung which has significantly contributed to the revenue of travel business division in the Forestry Housing as the manager. The revenue obtained depends on the marketing mix strategy conducted by the management because the marketing mix is the elements which become a consideration basis when making marketing communication strategy services in order to understand the demands of tourists. Therefore, the objectives of this study were to obtain and understand information and analyze the visitors’ responses on the natural tourism area related to the marketing mix that has been implemented by the management. The dependent variables included the elements of marketing mix, that involves 7P – product, price, place, promotion, people, procees and physical evidence, while the independent variable included the visitors’ decision. From the validity and tests, it is revealed that the overall regression model bring effects or at least there is one variable of the marketing mix factors that influences the decision of the visitors. From the data analysis, it is found that the process variables and physical appearance do not significantly affect the decision of the visitors. The other variables. that involve variables of product, price, place, promotion, and human have significantly influence the visitors’ decision.Keywords: Marketing mix, Kawah Putih, decision of visitors, touristsABSTRAKKawah Putih merupakan salah satu wisata unggulan Kota Bandung dan telah berkontribusi cukup signifikan untuk pendapatan divisi bisnis wisata Perum Perhutani. Pendapatan yang diperoleh tergantung dari strategi bauran pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh pengelola karena pada bauran pemasaran terdapat unsur atau elemen yang menjadi dasar pertimbangan pembuatan strategi komunikasi pemasaran jasa dalam rangka untuk memahami tuntutan dari wisatawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh informasi, memahami dan menganalisis tanggapan pengunjung kawasan wisata alam tentang bauran pemasaran yang telah dilakukan oleh pihak pengelola. Variabel independennya adalah elemen bauran pemasaran 7P yaitu product, price, place, promotion, people, procees dan physical evidence, sedangkan untuk variabel dependennya adalah keputusan pengunjung. Pada uji validitas dan reabilitas diketahui data hasil penelitian bisa digunakan. Pada uji asumsi didapatkan bahwa data memenuhi asumsi normal serta tidak terdapat multikolinearitas dan heteroskedasititas Dari hasil analisis data dapat diketahui variabel proses dan penampilan fisik tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pengunjung. Sedangkan untuk variabel lainnya yang mencakup variabel produk, harga, tempat, promosi, dan manusia signifikan berpengaruh terhadap respon keputusan pengunjung.Kata kunci: marketing mix, Kawah Putih, keputusan pengunjung, wisatawan

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to analyze marketing mix factors that influence the desire to purchase fruit beverages, 2) to formulate the marketing strategies of fruit beverages at restaurant based on fruit beverages in the city of Bogor. This research was conducted by using descriptive methods through survey approach. Data was collected in questionnaires, using non probability sample approach with convenience sampling technique. Variables measured  were 7P’s marketing mix factors, namely product, place, price, promotion, physical evidence, process and people. The analysis that were used were descriptive analysis and discriminant analysis. The result of this research shows that price and physical evidence were two factors that discriminate consumer behaviour. This means that the purchase intention (desire) between consumers who buy and consumers who do not buy fruit beverages were affected by price and physical evidence factors. The discriminant function that discriminate consumers purchase intention is D = -3,339+0,619Physical+0,899Price and cut-off value -0,18624. This means that if discriminant value (D)is higher than -0,18624, the consumer belongs to the group of consumer who will buy the fruit beverages and vice versa.Keywords: consumer behaviour, purchase intention, marketing mix, discriminant analysis

Abstract

Marketing tools known as the marketing mix, interacts with the brand equity in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the level of marketing mix and brand equity and analyze the effect of the marketing mix with dimensions of brand equity. Presentation techniques and data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Research using depth interview technique. The experiment was conducted in West Java province with the number of respondents 137 vegetable farmers. Research shows that the product and the price has no effect on all dimensions of brand equity. Meanwhile, marketing channels and promotion effect on perceived quality, each with a loading factor of 0.516 and 0.715. Brand awareness and brand association has no effect on the decision. Only perceived quality influence on purchase decisions with a value of loading factor of 0.516. The study concluded that, perceived quality influences purchase decisions. Channel marketing and promotion affect perceived quality.Keywords: brand equity, distribution channel, marketing mix, perceived quality, purchasing decision, SEMAbstrak: Instrumen pemasaran yang dikenal sebagai bauran pemasaran (marketing mix), saling berhubungan dengan ekuitas merek dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran dengan dimensi ekuitas merek dan menganalisis pengaruh ekuitas merek dengan keputusan pembelian. Teknik penyajian dan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis Struktural Equation Model (SEM). Penelitian menggunakan teknik interview mendalam dilaksanakan di propinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah responden 137 orang petani sayuran. Produk dan harga tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua dimensi ekuitas merek. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa saluran pemasaran dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap perceived quality, masing-masing dengan loading faktor 0,516 dan 0,715. Brand awareness dan brand association tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan. Hanya perceived quality berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai loading faktor 0,516. Penelitian disimpulkan bahwa, perceived quality memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Abstract

Wiralodra 27 rental car is a car service provider in Bogor city. Due to the high potential market in this industry, the car rental company requires an appropriate business model and new strategies in the face of competition. The objectives of this research are 1) to identify present business model of the company using the canvas business model approach; 2) to analyze each element that becomes the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat that affect the business model of the company; 3) formulate strategies to improve the canvas business model; and 4) to make recommendations for the improvement program of the business development of Wiralodra car rental 27. The method used in this research included the canvas business model and SWOT analysis as a tool of analysis. The respondents of this research consisted of 5 members of the Board of Director of the company and one senior employee. In addition, there were also twenty four customer respondents who were selected with purposive sampling. The research results showed recommendations for the improvements of all key elements of the canvas business model. The main priority scales of the improvements are the elements of customer segment, key partnership, revenue stream for associated risk factors of the business. The second priority scales of the improvements are the elements of value propositions, channel, customer relationship, key resources, key activities, and cost structure.Keywords: canvas business model, rental car services, SWOT, Wiralodra

Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the field of health care. Companies that grow and develop require the right business model in order to achieve their visions and missions. One business model that successfully changed the complex business concept to be simple and understandable is the Business Model Canvas (BMC) developed by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur. The objectives of this research were to analyze business models of XYZ organization through business model canvas approach, to identify key factors as strengths and weaknesses affecting the operational of XYZ organization, to formulate a strategy design required for the development of XYZ organization. Out of the nine elements of BMC, four elements were selected as top priorities for the company to improve its business strategy i.e. the elements of key activities, customer relationships, customer segments, and revenue streams. The results of BMC also show that the management needs to improve its business model and strategy for future development of XYZ organization e.g. by adding outlets in strategic places, forming a marketing team, as well as holding periodic training of human resources to optimize HR function.Keywords: business model, health care, HR, BMCAbstrak: XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan kesehatan. Perusahaan yang bertumbuh dan berkembang membutuhkan model bisnis yang tepat guna mencapai visi dan misi perusahaan. Salah satu model bisnis yang berhasil mengubah konsep bisnis yang rumit menjadi sederhana dan mudah dipahami adalah Business Model Canvas (BMC) yang dikembangkan oleh Alexander Osterwalder dan Yves Pigneur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa model bisnis organisasi XYZ melalui pendekatan model bisnis kanvas, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang menjadi kekuatan serta kelemahan yang berpengaruh dalam operasional organisasi XYZ, merumuskan rancangan strategi yang diperlukan untuk pengembangan organisasi XYZ. Hasil dari sembilan elemen BMC dipilih empat elemen yang menjadi prioritas utama perusahaan XYZ untuk memperbaiki strategi bisnisnya yaitu pada elemen key activities, customer relationships, customer segments, dan revenue streams. Hasil BMC juga menunjukan bahwa perusahaan perlu melakukan perbaikan model bisnis dan strategi guna pengembangan organisasi XYZ kedepannya, seperti menambah gerai outlet di tempat yang dianggap strategis, membentuk tim marketing, serta melakukan pelatihan SDM secara berkala untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi SDM.Kata kunci: model bisnis, pelayanan kesehatan, SDM, BMC

Abstract

Koperasi as an association for mutual welfare, conducts business and activities to fulfill the needs of the members. Koperasi Pinto Jaya located at Cipinang Melayu, East Jakarta, was established in 2011. The aim of this study is to design a business model in the future as a step towards further development of KSU Pinto Jaya. This research using descriptive qualitative with approaching method of business model canvas (BMC) and equipped with SWOT and blue ocean strategy. Respondents include internal and external respondents. Internal respondents are the chairman of the cooperative, supervisor, manager, head of the savings and loan unit and cooperative members with the qualifications as respondents. The external respondent is the chairman of the PT. Chingluh and Department of cooperatives and small and medium enterprises. The results obtained from this research is the idea which driven from several central innovation point, including the key activities where KSU Pinto Jaya forms a trading unit business which purposes meeting the need of the member and increasing the revenue. While the next idea as a starting point to form an innovation that starts from the addition of key resources to support and increase key activities. The official website and computer application development carried out by KSU Pinto Jaya becomes starting point to form business model ideas based on conditions where the utilization of information technology by KSU Pinto Jaya is not optimized yet. Abstract

Climate change is the current global issue that has been discuss over two decades. In Indonesia context, the total greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions from all sectors including land use change forestry, energy, peat fire, waste, agriculture and industry is 1.377.982,95 Gg CO2e. The GHG emission only counted by three main gases such as CO2, CH4 and N2O. Related to mitigation efforts by private company to reduce these emissions. This study more focus on comparation on how much natural forest can generate CO2 absorpsion from tree growth and how much plantation plantation company generate CO2 absorpsion from tree growth and their emission from its operational activities specially on transportation and N addition by synthentic fertilizer. The study conducted in specific block of forest management unit of Tasik Besar Serkap, Riau Province since January 2016 until June 2016. Based on this study, CO2 absorpsionfrom natural forest is  33.199.866,70 ton CO2, CO2 emissionfrom natural forest is 0, CO2 absorpsion from plantation company 13.366.266,32 ton CO2, CO2 emissionfrom synthetic fertilizer is 66.558.58 ton CO2, and CO2 emissionfrom transportation for operationalization of plantation company is 16.688,24 ton CO2.   Keyword: GHG emission, CO2 absorpsion, plantation Company, transportation, synthetic fertilizer

Abstract

This study discusses the policy scenarios on private-forest management in Bogor. The aims of this study are: determining leverage attribut on private-forest and formulating policy models, and making scenario for the development of the sustainability index of privately managed forest. This study uses multidimensional scalling (MDS) to analyze five dimensions. By using ordinal score on certain attribute, i.e. 0 (the lowest) and 10 (the highest) of each attribute. Then, by using Rap-Pforest, we could estimate the leverage attribute of f each dimension. To prepare policy models will use a prospective analysis. Final stages, to build strategic scenarios model. The analysis showed that there are two dimensions, i.e. ecology and legal and institutional, are moderately sustainable. While for the dimensions of economy, socio-culture, and accessibility and technology are less sustain. Based on five dimensions sustainability index, this study concludes that63 indicators were used and resulting 21 leverage-attributes. Qualitative model formulation for policy scenarios are:  HRB =  f (EKN3, EKN4, SOS1, SOS3, LBG2, LBG3). Scenario II most realistic choice, this scenario has been able to increase the value of sustainability index of 46.35 (less sustainable) to 52.52 (quite sustainable). This study recommends, it is necessary to conduct the development strategy by involving all stakeholders as the most appropriate policy options to improve the sustainability of small scale privately managed forest in Bogor.
