Abstract

Low student learning discipline, such as tardiness, not doing assignments, and disorderly behavior in class, becomes an obstacle in the learning process. This study aims to describe classroom management strategies in improving student learning discipline in class IV SD Negeri 13 Lolong. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of the class teacher, Islamic Religious Education teacher, English teacher, and five students. The results showed that teachers implemented strategies such as making rules with students, giving awards, seating arrangements, daily picket schedules, and exemplary. Improved discipline indicators include responsibility and cooperation. Supporting factors for this strategy include a well-organized physical classroom environment, positive emotional relationships, and a good classroom organizational structure. The inhibiting factors include the lack of discipline awareness from within students, the habit of arriving late, and the teacher's delay in starting the lesson. Thus, classroom management strategies that are implemented consistently and appropriately are proven to be able to significantly improve student learning discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw dalam upaya menumbuhkan kreativitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V sekolah dasar. Permasalahan utama yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kreativitas belajar siswa yang tercermin dari kurangnya keberanian mengemukakan ide, keterbatasan dalam bekerja sama, serta rendahnya variasi dalam hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V pada salah satu sekolah dasar negeri, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kooperatif jigsaw mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa menjadi lebih berani mengemukakan ide, bekerja sama secara efektif dalam kelompok, dan menghasilkan karya atau jawaban yang lebih variatif. Proses pembelajaran dengan metode ini memberikan kesempatan kepada setiap siswa untuk berperan sebagai "ahli" pada submateri tertentu, sehingga memunculkan rasa tanggung jawab dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Faktor pendukung implementasi metode ini meliputi keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas,dukungan sarana pembelajaran, dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Adapun hambatan yang ditemui antara lain perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi serta keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 12 Sungai Sapih Kota Padang pada tanggal 5 dan 7 Agustus 2025, dapat dilihat permasalahan yang di temui adalah; Keterbatasan kompetensi guru, Siswa tidak fokus mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas V SD Negeri 12 Sungai Sapih serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. kasus adalah di mana peneliti mengembangkan analisis mendalam atas suatu kasus, peristiwa, aktivitas, proses atas satu individu atau lebih. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan dan pembahasan oleh peneliti tentang implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada efektivitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas V SD Negeri 12 Sungai Sapih terdapat beberapa temuan, yaitu: Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berjalan dengan baik dan efektif di SD Negeri 12 Sungai Sapih khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika kelas V. Hal ini ditandai dengan semakin aktif dan kreatifnya siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran serta pemahaman konsep matematika yang semakin mendalam. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi kesiapan guru, ketersediaan media pembelajaran, minat dan motivasi siswa, serta manajemen waktu yang efektif. Sedangkan kendala yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan fasilitas teknologi dan rendahnya rasa percaya diri siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a problem that causes a student to not be able to follow the learning process well and not be able to achieve the expected learning objectives. This study aims to describe the factors causing learning difficulties experienced by second-grade students at Kampung Lapai Public Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach, a case study type. The research subjects are second-grade homeroom teachers and second-grade students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Based on the research results obtained, there are two factors causing student learning difficulties, namely (1) internal factors including intellectual abilities, lack of learning motivation, attitudes of not wanting to pay attention when studying. (2) external factors including: family factors, school factors, community factor.

Abstract

Reading interest is one of the main indicators that is very important in the learning process. This study aims to describe the perceptions of teachers and grade V students of SD Negeri 13 Lolong towards the use of quizizz applications based on game-based learning models in fostering reading interest and identifying obstacles estimated by teachers and grade V students of SD Negeri 13 Lolong related to the application of quizizz applications based on game-based learning models in fostering reading interest. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity verification technique uses source triangulation. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study are school principals, teachers, and fifth grade students. The results of the study indicate that teachers and students view the quizizz application, which is based on game-based learning, positively because it is considered enjoyable, capable of making learning more interesting, and encouraging students to read, while also aligning with the objectives of classroom activities aimed at fostering students' reading interests. Additionally, the challenges faced include limitations in technological infrastructure at schools, such as laptops, projectors, and limited smartphone ownership among students, as well as the absence of training on the quizizz application and supporting facilities like classroom reading corners.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the Independent Learning Curriculum that has been implemented at SD Negeri 16 Kinali which is inseparable from various existing problems, both in terms of planning, implementation, and assessment. In this study, teachers experienced limited teaching materials, teachers had difficulty practicing in science learning, and teachers experienced difficulties in conducting assessments. Therefore, this study aims to: Determine the Problems experienced by Teachers in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in science learning in grade IV of SD Negeri 16 Kinali. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects were the principal and class teachers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques carried out were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While the validity of the data was tested using Triangulation Techniques. Based on the research results obtained, class teachers in Science Learning need to prepare Planning, Implementation, and assessment in learning. Teachers need to identify learning objectives, analyze student needs, select learning materials and methods, prepare teaching materials, plan learning activities, compile learning media and communicate expectations to students.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is expected to produce students with good character. However, initial observations at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Padang found indications of a lack of religious and moral character among some students. This study aims to analyze the influence of the school environment on the character development of fourth-grade children and identify influencing factors. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the school environment has a positive influence on the development of children's character, particularly in aspects of religiosity, manners, and environmental awareness. However, several obstacles, such as the lack of religious facilities, hinder some students' participation. Factors influencing student character development include family, teachers, the surrounding environment, and learning media. In conclusion, although the school environment plays a positive role, ongoing efforts are needed from all parties, especially teachers as role models, to optimize student character development.
