Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors are hampering the BEST APKLI (Asosisasi Pedagang Kaki Lima Indonesia/Indonesian Food and Drink Street Vendors Association) partnership concept for street food vendors category A in Gubeng Regency Surabaya, Indonesia, The study is classified as a case study. The street vendors were selected based on purposive sampling with related selection based on the accessibility between researchers and the source. The study found that business capital is not an inhibiting factor in the development of MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprise).

Abstract

Family Company is a company that hereditary from generation to next generation. The process of transfering the company from the older generation to the next generation are the key point for the regeneration. Family company that are doing the regeneration must make sure the succession process goes on well for the family company to survive in the next genereation. Succession process need to be planned accordingly and have a clear paramater on what is needed for the successor to be qualified as a good successor on the family business. This research will discuss regarding the parameter of the succession planning matters that are currently still ongoing in Company in machine industry while using the dimention of succession planning. This research will be done in qualitative method with the primary data collection using interview with family member that are currently working in the company in the successor side and from the incumbent side.

Abstract

The education world has significant roles in encouraging students to be productive, collaborative, and communicative in this competitive era. Therefore, educators should be able to administer classes where students can experience learning process to have the necessary skills in working environment. One way to establish the desired learning process is by designing and setting special learning groups in the classroom as an environment to develop students'social skills and their productivity. The desired environment is an environment which nurtures students'creativity in developing their social skills and productivity, namely group dynamics. To achieve this goal, a qualitative research is conducted in marketing management classes in Ciputra University Surabaya, Indonesia, to see if setting a dynamics environment are able to grow students'creativity. In several similar cases, educators believe in the need of organizing learning groups which fit the development of twenty first century. Dynamics environment is needed to grow students' creativity. The research will contribute some knowledge on how higher education educators organize and set learning groups in big class. The results of the research will suggest some ways to organize and set the learning groups which are effective in developing students'creativity.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one paper company in East Java, Indonesia. The paper  industry grows much wider opportunities to consumers to help select and purchase the product in accordance with the wishes and needs. This resulted in the emergence of competition between paper companies. Consumer expectations this time are getting a good paper and an affordable price, if these expectations are fulfilled then the customer will feel satisfied and by itself will refer to the paper company. PT. XYZ as the paper industry players feel that the best service quality to consumers is essential. The type of research used is applied research. The nature of this research is explanatory research which aims to determine the effect of service quality consisting of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy to customer satisfaction and determine the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. This study determines the number of respondents 10 times the number of indicators (= 12 indicators) that is 120 respondents. The sample used in this study is a paper distributor that takes directly from the company PT XYZ in Surabaya. This research uses Path Analysis.There were 125 questionnaires distributed and those that met the requirements established 120 questionnaires. The sample used in this study is a paper distributor that takes directly from the company PT XYZ in Surabaya. Based on this research, it proved that the factors of service quality consisting of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy affect consumer satisfaction PT. XYZ, so the first hypothesis can be accepted. AMOS calculation results can be seen from the path coefficient of 2.468 was obtained with CR values of probability of significance is 0.014. The hypothesis was accepted with immediate effect from the factor of service quality on customer satisfaction by 0.602. Good service quality can give satisfaction to the consumer, but not necessarily lead to a loyal customer following consumer satisfaction. Based on the findings proved consumer satisfaction is not proven to influence consumer loyalty to the product of PT. XYZ, so that the second hypothesis was rejected. The path coefficient of 1.535 was obtained with CR values of probability of significance is 0.125. A hypothesis is rejected with a direct influence on customer loyalty on customer satisfaction by 0.202.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on K-12 schools. Therefore it is very important to examine the factors that shape parents' decisions in choosing K-12 education for their children so that schools can meet parents' expectations. As a result, student enrolment in K-12 schools can be increased. This study aims to determine the factors that shape parents' decisions in choosing kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school (K-12) education levels for their children in the new normal era. The object of research is the Citra Blessing School in Surabaya. The method used is a quantitative research method. Data collection in this study using questionnaire research. The population is 1,142 parents from K-12. Sampling using a random sampling technique. 797 parents were used as the sample. The analytical method used is exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with the help of the SPSS application. As a result, there is 1 factor that is not appropriate from the 27 initial factors, so 26 factors are used as a factor for parents' decision-making in choosing K-12 education. These 26 factors form 4 new factors, namely 1. Service and Ambience Excellence; 2. Student Competence; 3. Learning Management System, and 4. School Reputation. This finding becomes a reference for improving the performance of K-12 in Surabaya. In particular, so that the quality of education, the quality of alumni, student admissions, and student enrolment can be improved. It is in order to maintain the continuity of schools, especially K12 schools in the New Normal period. It is a reference for K-12 students to use flip classrooms or blended learning as learning methods during the teaching and learning process. In addition, it motivates K-12 to take part in competitions, thereby increasing the school's academic achievement.

Abstract

Peningkatan kesejahteraan bagi aseptor KB adalah menjadi hal yang penting khususnya di Surabaya. Kebijaksanaan tersebut menjadi tetap sangat relevan, mengingat meskipun Indonesia diakui oleh dunia internasional sudah berhasil dan memasyarakatkan gerakan keluarga berencana, namun masih terdapat berbagai kendala dalam mewujudkan keluarga sehat dan sejahtera, antara lain semakin besarnya pertumbuhan angkatan kerja termasuk angkatan kerja wanita, baik di desa maupun di kota. Sehubungan dengan usaha-usaha melembagakan norma keluarga kecil bahagia dan sejahtera maka perlu melakukan berbagai kegiatan usaha ekonomis produktif yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga akseptor. Adapun kegiatannya terdiri dari pelatihan tentang potensi diri, literasi perencanaan keuangan keluarga, hieginisasi produk, penyajian produk, cara menjual produk, pelayanan pada konsumen, promosi, dan penggunaan sosial media. Jumlah peserta 14 orang yang berasal dari keluarga akseptor di Kelurahan Kandangan Kecamatan Benowo dengan kriteria Akseptor Keluarga Berencana, pernah memiliki usaha mikro maupun yang belum pernah memiliki usaha apa pun. Hasil akhir berupa bazar dapat berlangsung dengan lancar. Semua peserta mendapat manfaat dengan pendapatan omset yang cukup baik dan mendapat hadiah sebagai hasil dari jerih payah peserta.

Abstract

Influencer characteristics influence consumer purchase intentions and are increasingly relevant to the digital era, especially through the TikTok platform. The main focus of this study is to analyze the influence of influencer characteristics using homophily, informative value, and authentic variables on the purchase intentions of Gen Z TikTok users in Indonesia, especially in Java, with parasocial relationships as a mediating variable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique, involving 210 respondents aged 18-27 years who actively use TikTok. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5, and analysis using SmartPLS. The results of the study showed that homophily had a significant effect on purchase intentions through parasocial relationships. Informative and authentic values did not have a significant effect on purchase intentions through parasocial relationships. These findings emphasize the importance of closeness between influencers and their audiences in building a relationship that can drive purchasing decisions. Abstract

This research aimed to explore the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership through mini-projects in a tourism sub-marketing context and to assess the performance of tourism students in designing tourism products using this approach. To mitigate these challenges, the research proposed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology was employed. A single third-semester sub-marketing class was the focus. Purposive sampling was used to select participants aligned with the research theme. Data collection involved student and lecturer interviews. Mini projects included article reviews and project presentations. The research results are that teaching entrepreneurial leadership through mini-projects is successfully conducted for three days: 1) introduction to topics containing basic marketing concepts, 2) the importance of why people apply for marketing activities, and 3) strategies to win the markets. The activity was filled with reviewing articles on the second day, and discussions were completed with project presentations on the third day. Additionally, the conclusion of the research is that the student's performance is very positive, measured by indicators of directness in stating ideas, product novelty, and received responses.

Abstract

Universitas Ciputra (UC) Surabaya sedang gencar dalam mengimplementasikan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya pada Partnerships for the Goals. Demi tercapainya Universitas yang berdampak bagi lingkungannya, maka diadakan lomba showcase menggunakan bahan daur ulang yang 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle). Lomba showcase diutamakan pada negara-negara yang menjadi partner kerja sama internasional UC yaitu Australia, Malaysia, India, Perancis, Thailand, dan China. Lomba ini diikuti oleh seluruh sivitas akademika UC. Hasilnya adalah pengetahuan tentang SDGs yang sudah dilakukan di negara-negara tersebut dapat menjadi tolok ukur bagi pengajar dan staf Universitas Ciputra Surabaya dalam mengimplementasikan SDGs khususnya di lingkungan sekitar kampus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the factors that affect entrepreneurial intention on Universitas Ciputra and Petra Christian University students. Respondents in this research are 180 of 2017 IBM active students of Universitas Ciputra and Petra Christian University. Questionnaire collection is done through google form. In this research, it will use non probability sampling and data retrieval uses purposive sampling technique by using quantitative data type. The data that has been collected is processed by using multiple regression analysis technique. This research is based on three variables, that is, attitude towards behavioral, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. The results of this research state that subjective norm affect significant on entrepreneurial intention and attitude towards behaviour, perceived behaviour does not affect significant on entrepreneurial intention.
