Abstract

Indigenous tourism is a term that is not commonly heard and applied by most tourism actors in the region to develop regional potential. The level of kinship and Islamic faith-based customs that are still firmly held amid the development of globalization make Tidore Islands City unique to develop tourism in the region. The purpose of this study is to examine 1) the potential development of tourism products in Tidore Kepualauan, 2) assess the impact of tourism activities from a socio-cultural, economic and environmental point of view. Data were collected by two means of qualitative research methods. Data were obtained from interviews and literature studies. The results of the study are known that Tidore Islands City has potential varieties that can be made into a tourist product, such as cultural tourism products, local people and nature are the main points that can attract domestic tourists. The impact of tourism activities on socio-cultural and environmental, economic and environmental is significantly changing.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan model suksesi bisnis UKM, mempersiapkan entrepeneur sejati melaui pelatihan menjahit, memproduksi berbagai macam craft, serta memotivasi Kelompok Keluarga Berdaya (KKB). Memotivasi anggota Kelompok Keluarga Berdaya (KKB) dilakukan mengingat pendidikan nonformal seperti pelatihan ini sangat perlu dan urgent untuk memacu semangat agar tidak kendor dalam mengikuti pengembangan kelompok dan kemajuannya. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada satu kelompok KKB dan diharapkan akan berkembang kepada kelompok, wilayah yang lain dengan tetap melakukan inovasi-inovasi dalam bidang entrepreneur. Dengan adanya dukungan dari perangkat desa atau lurah setempat menjadikan kegiatan ini lebih spesifik dan sangat bermanfaat, serta mempermudah penyebaran informasi.  Adanya pelatihan menjahit, pembuatan berbagai macam craft ini diharapkan akan mampu meningkatkan prekonomian keluarga, yang pada gilirannya di samping meningkatkan prekonomian keluarga juga dapat memberikan kebahagian dan kesehatan bagi anggota kelompok anggota Kelompok Keluarga Berdaya (KKB) secara umum dan secara khusus.

Abstract

Universitas Ciputra Surabaya sebagai universitas yang mencetak entrepreneur berlandaskan Integrity, Profesionalism, dan Entrepreneurship. Demi mendukung Universitas Ciputra Surabaya sebagai universitas unggul maka perlu diadakan lomba showcase beberapa negara yang merupakan international partner Universitas Ciputra seperti USA, Kolombia, Korea Selatan, UK, Swiss, dan Filipina. Lomba ini perlu dilakukan agar supaya sivitas akademika memahami budaya negara-negara partner dari Universitas Ciputra. Lomba ini diikuti seluruh departemen di Universitas Ciputra Surabaya.  Hasil kegiatan ini membuat sivitas akademika lebih mengenal budaya dari beberapa negara yang sudah bekerja sama dengan Universitas Ciputra Surabaya tersebut. Hal ini juga sebagai ajang promosi pada mitra partner murid-murid SMA.

Abstract

The background of this research is the increase of return on sales of rice seeds product and the failure to achieve the sales target in 2021 which occurred at CV Bunga Tani Sejahtera, a producer of rice and corn seeds. Based on complaint data throughout 2021 indicate that there are problems with product, price, distribution and promotions, so evaluation and improvement are necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product, price, distribution, and promotion on purchase decision of rice seed product in Jember. This study used 210 respondents that collected from four sub-districts in Jember, namely Balung, Gumukmas, Tanggul and Mayang. This research is quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis method. The result showed that there is effect of product, price, and promotion on purchase decision of rice seed products in Jember. Meanwhile, distribution has no influence on purchase decision. Simultaneously, product, price, distribution, and promotion have an influence on the purchase decision of rice seed products in Jembe. The dominant influence on the purchase decision is product. The company is expected to improve product, evaluate price, and expand the promotion of rice seed products so the sales return can be reduced in the following years and market can develop.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the variables that influence employee performance. The variables studied include leadership style, work environment, and job satisfaction. The approach to this research is quantitative method, and focuses on the analysis of variables that affect employee performance with a survey method approach using a questionnaire. The data collected from the questionnaire will be analyzed statistically using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The population in this study are all employees in the Operations Finance division at PT X under the leadership of the Director of Operations Finance. This research was conducted on 112 respondents with a purposive sampling method. The results of the study state that the variables of leadership style and work environment have a significant effect on the variable of job satisfaction, the variable of leadership style and work environment has a significant effect on the variable of employee performance, and the variable of job satisfaction has a significant effect on the variable of employee performance. This shows that leadership style and work environment have an impact on job satisfaction which in the end the expected employee performance is achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance which is mediated by employee commitment at PT X. The independent variables of this study are work environment (X1) and job satisfaction (X2), the dependent variable of this study is employee performance (Y2), and the mediating variable of this study is employee commitment (Y1). This research is included in quantitative research because the approach used for research proposals, hypothesis determination, and data analysis until writing uses aspects that involve measurement, calculation formulas, and data in numerical form. The sample of this study were employees of PT X who served as middle staff and had worked for more than 6 months. Using the Slovin formula, the required number of samples was determined to be 150 respondents. The data collection method used was distributing questionnaires to respondents via the Google Form. The collected data were analyzed using Smart-PLS version 3 by testing data validity, data reliability, path coefficients, F-Square, R-Square, predictive relevance, and hypothesis testing from this study. The results of this study indicate that the work environment has a significant effect on employee commitment and employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee commitment, but has no significant effect on employee performance, and employee commitment has no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The need for sound and music in advertising is growing every year, especially when Covid-19 accelerates the need for brands to go digital. InTune Productions is a music production company based in Surabaya, Indonesia. Specializing in jingle, sound-logo, and background music, InTune Productions has worked with various companies to increase their brand awareness through sound and music. This research aims to analyze the impact of personal selling, e-WOM and e-referral using brand image as mediating variable on purchase intention of Intune Productions. This research is quantitative research where the data collected from questionnaires will be analyzed statistically using Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square in SmartPLS program. Population of this research is 256 members of JCI East Java. The researcher uses purposive sampling and found 98 samples. The result shows that personal selling, e-WOM and e-referral do not have a significant effect towards purchase intention. E-referral also does not have a significant effect towards brand image. However, brand image has a positive significant effect towards purchase intention, as well as acting as a mediating variable between personal selling and e-WOM towards purchase intention.

Abstract

Consumer experience is an important element in creating loyalty and satisfaction amid business competition. This study explores the role of aroma and music in shaping a holistic consumer experience and how the combination of both can increase customer loyalty and engagement. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation at businesses such as cafes, retail, spas, and hotels in Denpasar, Bali. The results show that aroma can evoke emotional memories, create a comfortable atmosphere, and prolong visits. Music affects mood, activity rhythm, and purchasing decisions. The combination of aroma and music creates a significant multisensory experience, increasing emotional attachment to the brand. This study expands the sensory marketing literature and provides practical guidance for business actors to design innovative marketing strategies in the tourism sector. Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan dari kalangan investor muda adalah kurangnya pengelolaan uang untuk berinvestasi. Kebanyakan para investor muda ini akan berusia dari 40 tahun ke bawah. Namun, masih banyak pemuda yang tidak menghiraukan kepentingan dari sistem pengelompokan uang bulanan untuk keperluan esensial maupun investasi. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena adanya investor muda yang tidak memedulikan atau tidak mengatur cara pembagian uang yang benar. Selain itu, kebanyakan investor muda ini tidak mempunyai pengalaman yang lebih dalam dunia investasi yang benar dan banyak yang tidak dapat membedakan antara investasi dengan berjudi.Oleh karena itu, anggota Universitas Ciputra Financial Club melakukan pelatihan khusus bagi calon investor muda terkait analisis fundamental saham sehingga calon investor muda ini tidak salah mengambil keputusan dan akan mengikuti langkah-langkah yang tepat. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk siswa-siswi SMA St. Agnes Surabaya. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini didapatkan timbal balik yang baik dari peserta pelatihan dan memberikan pengalaman dan keberhasilan yang baik bagi mereka.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kapasitas produksi dalam kerajinan tangan yang berkelanjutan berbasis AI pada Handmade House di Kelurahan Kebraon, Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pemaparan, pelatihan dan pemantapan AI serta pengembangan keterampilan melalui pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan produktivitas para perajin lokal. Perangkat lunak Pebblely dan Visionati digunakan pada kegiatan ini untuk membantu perajin meningkatkan efisiensi, kualitas, daya saing produk, proses produksi, konsistensi kualitas, dan kemampuan untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar dengan lebih baik. Kegiatan ini berupaya menuju pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama dalam hal pengentasan kemiskinan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan komunitas lokal. Dengan memperkuat keterampilandan kreativitas perajin berbasis AI, serta mempromosikan prinsip-prinsip SDGs. Handmade House dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif.
