Abstract

This study aims to understand the guarantee of legal protection as a principle of lecturers’ professionalism by developing and examining a model of the influence of emotional regulation and psychological well-being in influencing work engagement and lecturer performance, which is in line with the professionalism principle as a form of legal protection, in West Java Province. The moderating role of religiosity in Muslim and non-Muslim lecturers are also considered in influencing the level of interaction between variables. This study uses normative juridical and quantitative method. Normative juridical method is carried out by examining primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials, both documents and laws and regulations. For the quantitative study, 120 Muslim and non-Muslim lecturers are selected using purposive sampling. Data is distributed online and offline using Google Forms, then processed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that (1) the criteria for obtaining lecturer certificates are not yet comprehensive according to the role and position in the Teachers and Lecturers Law; and (2) the management of intellectual property rights (IPR) in universities is not yet optimal according to the legal protection of the results of creations and innovations in the IPR Law. Emotional regulation and psychological well-being influence work engagement, and work engagement has a positive influence on lecturer performance. The study also confirms the mediating role of work engagement and moderating role of religiosity within the relationship. This study provides insight of the guarantee of legal protection for the position, rights, and obligations along with recognition of lecturers in developing creativity and innovation in accordance with the principles of professionalism. This study also highlights the moderating role of religiosity by involving Muslim and non-Muslim participants in a cross-cultural context, thereby allowing a more comprehensive understanding of the influence of religiosity and cultural diversity on the variables studied.

Abstract

Saat ini, produk kreatif telah menjadi salah satu sektor yang bertumbuh dengan sangat pesat dan berperan penting dalam pengembangan perekonomian negara ini. Indonesia dengan kekayaan sumber daya alam dan keanekaragaman budayanya memiliki potensi yang sangat besar dalam menghasilkan produk-produk yang kreatif dan unik, serta bernilai jual tinggi di pasar internasional. Namun, tampaknya masih banyak rintangan dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku industri kreatif dalam upaya mencapai potensinya tersebut. Adapun salah satu rintangan utama yang sering dihadapi oleh para pelaku industri kreatif adalah kurang terampilnya pelaku industri kreatif dalam menciptakan produk-produk kreatif yang memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi dan diterima di pasar internasional. Oleh sebab itu, dalam rangka meningkatkan keterampilan berwirausaha dan pengembangan ide-ide kreatif tersebut, maka diperlukan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dalam bentuk program pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan anggota TP-PKK Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung yang berdampak pada peningkatan peluang ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kecamatan Lengkong untuk mendapatkan penghasilan dan kesejahteraan hidup. Kegiatan PkM ini diadakan pada hari Kamis, tgl. 13 Februari 2025 yang bertempat di Gedung Serbaguna Kantor Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung. Peserta yang mengikuti acara PkM ini merupakan para anggota Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP-PKK) Kec. Lengkong Kota Bandung yang berjumlah sebanyak 27 orang. Penyampaian materi yang disampaikan oleh para tim anggota pelaksana PkM difokuskan pada materi tentang berwirausaha, serta materi tentang pengenalan souvenir DeCoupage. Dalam penyampaian materinya, pemateri tidak hanya menyampaikan teori secara teoritis, tetapi juga dalam bentuk praktik atau berupa simulasi. Dengan begitu, peserta pun berkesempatan untuk mempraktikkannya materi yang dipelajarinya tersebut secara langsung.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu modal dan memegang suatu peran yang paling penting dalam suatu perusahaan dalam upaya untuk mewujudkan keberhasilan perusahaan. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja. Semakin efektif pengembangan karir diterapkan, semakin tinggi motivasi dan tingkat kinerja di antara karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT BCA Multifinance Kanwil 1 Bandung secara simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanggapan responden terhadap variabel pengembangan karir memiliki persentase sebesar 63,6% yang termasuk dalam kategori “Cukup Baik”, serta variabel motivasi kerja memperoleh persentase sebesar 68,5% yang berada dalam kategori “Baik” dan variabel kinerja karyawan sebesar 69% termasuk dalam kategori “Baik”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang simultan antara pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT BCA Multifinance Kanwil 1 Bandung dengan persentase sebesar 16,3%. Hasil tersebut dapat menunjukan bahwa pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja memberikan kontribusi pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of competence, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance at LPKA Class II Bandung. This study was motivated by the decline in LPKA employee performance as reflected in the results of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) which showed a decline from 2021 to 2023. Problems found in interviews with employees related to performance include the lack of suitability of competence to tasks, work discipline problems, and a less supportive work environment. Based on the theory of Human Capital, work discipline, and work environment, this study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the variables studied. The results of the study show that competence, work discipline, and work environment have a significant positive influence on employee performance at LPKA Class II Bandung. Specifically, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline has also been shown to have a significant influence on improving performance, while a conducive work environment can increase employee efficiency and productivity. Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant effect on employee performance at LPKA Class II Bandung.

Abstract

Manajemen sumber daya manusia yang optimal memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung tercapainya sasaran organisasi, khususnya di lingkungan Badan Usaha Milik Negara seperti PT Bio Farma (Persero). Dalam konteks peningkatan kinerja karyawan, dua aspek yang berperan penting adalah gaya kepemimpinan dan kedekatan emosional antara karyawan dan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional serta komitmen afektif terhadap kinerja pegawai di PT Bio Farma (Persero), dengan mempertimbangkan dinamika organisasi dan perubahan struktur yang terjadi dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei yang melibatkan 304 responden dari kalangan karyawan tetap. Instrumen penelitian telah melalui pengujian validitas (r > 0,361) dan reliabilitas (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0,60), serta memenuhi asumsi klasik yang mencakup normalitas data (Asymp. Sig. > 0,05), tidak adanya multikolinearitas (VIF < 10), dan bebas dari gejala heteroskedastisitas (sebaran residual acak). Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda mengungkapkan bahwa komitmen afektif (B = 0,801; Sig. = 0,000) dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (B = 0,286; Sig. = 0,000) secara signifikan dan positif memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Kedua variabel bebas ini secara bersama-sama menjelaskan kontribusi sebesar 62% terhadap variabel dependen (R² = 0,622; F = 247,671; p < 0,001). Selain itu, ujiIkorelasiIPearson menunjukkan adanyaIhubungan yangIkuat dan positif antara ketiga variabel. Temuan ini mempertegas bahwa peningkatan kinerja dapat dicapai melalui kepemimpinan yang mampu memberikan inspirasi dan melalui penciptaan keterikatan emosional yang kuat terhadap perusahaan. Dengan demikian, arah kebijakan manajerial sebaiknya difokuskan pada pengembangan kepemimpinan yang responsif dan penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang mendorong loyalitas emosional karyawan.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze Quality of work life, human resource development and employee performance at the Bandung City Health Office, as well as the influence of Quality of work life and human resource development on employee performance at the Bandung City Health Office. This study is a quantitative study with a causal approach that explains the causal relationship between research variables using hypothesis testing. Respondents in this study were 303 employees of the Bandung City Health Office and UPT within the Bandung City Health Office. Data collection used a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. Instrument testing used validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed that (1) human resource development had a significant effect on employee performance, (2) quality of work life had a significant effect on employee performance. (3) human resource development and quality of work life had a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of competence, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance at the Special Guidance Institution for Class II Children (LPKA) Bandung. The research was motivated by a decline in employee performance indicators between 2021 and 2023, reflecting inefficiencies in human resource management. Grounded in the Human Capital Theory, this study examines how competence alignment, employee discipline, and workplace conditions contribute to organizational effectiveness. A quantitative descriptive method was applied using a saturated sampling technique involving all 66 employees of LPKA Bandung. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that competence, work discipline, and work environment each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Competence—measured by knowledge, skills, and attitudes—was found to be the most influential factor in enhancing work outcomes, followed by discipline and environmental support. A conducive physical and non-physical work environment also contributes to increased efficiency and motivation. The findings highlight that improving employee competence through targeted training, enforcing discipline policies, and optimizing workplace facilities can substantially enhance performance in public correctional institutions. This study provides practical implications for improving human resource management in government agencies to achieve better service outcomes and institutional accountability.
