Abstract

This research aims to extract the story or take the essence from folklore the Lancang Kuning its scientific literacy value for thematic learning in primary school. Scientific literacy is an understanding of science and its application to the needs of the community. The method used is the descriptive qualitative analysis of interviews and documentation strategies and evaluation of data. Results from this research that obtain it some value in scientific literacy in the people story Lancang Kuning text that can then be applied in teaching in primary school using thematic learning. From these results, it can be concluded that since time immemorial been their aspects of scientific literacy are taught parents to their children either through folklore or of other matters related to culture.

Abstract

Based on the study of the researcher's literature, one of the problems faced by students in learning mathematics is the difficulty with the flat sided space material in terms of instilling concepts. To overcome these problems, an educator can design Student Worksheets (SW) as an effort to help students overcome difficulties in learning. Thus, this study aims to produce an Electronic Student Worksheets (ESW) assisted by liveworksheets through the application of a contextual problem-based scientific approach to valid and practical flat sided geometric material using the Four-D development model. The stages of the Four-D development model are Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. Grade VIII students of SMP N 40 Pekanbaru (School A) and SMP IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru (School B) were the subjects of this study. There are two data collection instruments in this study, namely: (1) a validation sheet to see the validity level of the ESW; and (2) student questionnaire sheets to see the level of practicality of the ESW. The results showed that the developed ESW was valid according to the results of expert validation with an average score of 88.97% (very valid criteria). Furthermore, the results of the small group stage show that the ESW is practical with an average score of 83.08% (very practical criteria). Thus the development of ESW is valid and practical and is expected to help students overcome difficulties in understanding the concept of learning material.

Abstract

Material relations and functions load understanding concept on lesson mathematics as well as can help student For finish question mathematics with good and right. Objective study This is For analyze error student in finish question relations and functions based on theory Castle ie error conceptual, error procedural and error technique as well as reason happening error the. subject study are 18 students class VIII SMPN 13 Dumai. Data collection techniques are carried out with test and interview. Instrument test used is test written from valid questions and guidelines interview For verify reason student in answer question the. Obtained data from results test, then analyzed with use method descriptive qualitative. Analysis results shows 33% students do error conceptual, 41% students do error procedural, and as many as 26% students do error technical. As for what causes students are wrong finish question Relations and functions including : 1) less understand cause issue student Confused finish the answer ; 2) no control rule calculation algebra ; 3) rush in finish question so that lots wrong calculation.

Abstract

This study identified the numeracy literacy skills of Almuttaqin MTS students in a rigid material. A hallmark of numeracy literacy is the capacity to apply numbers and related symbols to operations on algebraic forms, analyze data, and understand analysis findings to predict and make judgments. Tests and interviews were used to collect data, which were then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Based on the findings, the numeracy literacy skills of MTS Almuttaqin students, one student (4%) is included in the excellent group for numeracy literacy, nine students (34%) are included in the excellent category, 15 students (50%) are included in the good category, and five students (11)% is included in the less category. Students with high numeracy literacy (ST) can use various numbers and symbols to solve problems, analyze information to make predictions, evaluate the findings of their analysis, and make decisions when handling the challenges of the given material. Using various numbers and symbols to solve problems and analyze information is the only marker that satisfies students with moderate numeracy literacy (SD). They have not yet reached the stage where they can make the best choices regarding their assigned content. Students with limited numeracy literacy (SR) only write numbers and are identified when completing assignments. As a result, SD and SR have not fully learned numeracy skills. The indications that were not fulfilled were caused by mistakes made by students, including not carefully recording known and asked data, choosing an inappropriate problem-solving approach, and not understanding ideas well enough to answer questions problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu modul ajar kurikulum merdeka pada topik barisan dan deret berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk memfasilitasi kecakapan pemecahan masalah matematis (KPMM) peserta didik pada Fase E yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4-D dengan tahapan define (pendefinisian), design (perencanaan), develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi modul ajar dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data validasi diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata validasi modul ajar adalah 3,75 dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan data analisis angket respon peserta didik pada ujicoba kelompok kecil adalah 87,91% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan hasil analisis angket respon pada tahap ujicoba lapangan adalah 85,54% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Sehingga modul ajar yang dikembangkan memenuhi aspek valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP, dan LAS dengan pendekatan RME pada materi Lingkaran yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek uji coba one to one dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga siswa kelas VIII SMP/MTs dan subjek uji coba kelompok kecil adalah enam siswa kelas VIII SMP/MTs yang heterogen. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi: (1) lembar validasi silabus, RPP, dan LAS; dan (2) angket respon siswa terhadap LAS. Perangkat pembelajaran yang telah disusun divalidasi oleh 3 validator dan direvisi sesuai saran dari validator. Hasil validasi dari tiga validator menunjukkan bahwa silabus, RPP, dan LAS sangat valid dengan rata-rata skor berturut-turut 98,86%; 95,27%; dan 90,84%. Kepraktisan LAS menunjukkan persentase rata-rata 84,98% dengan kriteria praktis. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan RME pada materi lingkaran sangat valid dan juga praktis untuk memfasilitasi pengembangan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis (KBKM) sangat penting bagi siswa karena termasuk tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Untuk memfasilitasi KBKM siswa dapat dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang tepat dan sesuai. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya KBKM siswa dan terbatasnya bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan konteks dan pengalaman siswa sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam belajar matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan modul materi persamaan garis lurus berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan QR Code untuk memfasilitasi KBKM siswa SMP yang valid, dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi angket, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan modul sangat valid dengan persentase 91.5% berdasarkan penilaian validator. Hasil uji coba modul pada uji coba terbatas menunjukkan modul sudah praktis dengan persentase sebesar 81.19% berdasarkan respon siswa, dan pada uji coba lapangan mencapai kriteria sangat praktis dengan persentase sebesar 90.28% berdasarkan respon siswa, hasil respon guru sebesar 96.88%, dan hasil lembar pengamatan sebesar 91.30%. Hasil validasi, angket respon, dan lembar pengamatan diperoleh bahwa modul yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan kontekstual yang valid dan praktis. Materi pada E-LKPD yang dikembangkan yaitu materi aritmetika sosial. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 orang peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 3 Bangkinang dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan E-LKPD materi aritmetika sosial berbasis pendekatan kontekstual valid dan praktis. Persentase rata-rata penilaian validator untuk keempat E-LKPD yaitu 88,40% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Selanjutnya persentase rata-rata penilaian peserta didik untuk keempat E-LKPD yaitu 90,57% dengan kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu kompetensi yang paling penting adalah literasi matematis, namun peserta didik masih memiliki tingkat kemampuan yang rendah, terutama dalam materi terkait statistik. Penggunaan LKPD elektronik berbasis discovery learning merupakan solusi alternatif untuk masalah ini. Pengembangan LKPD elektronik berbasis discovery learning yang valid dan praktis menjadi tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design research tipe development studies, yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, dan assessment phase. Dokumen, walkthrough, dan lembar penilaian merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 20 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru berpartisipasi dalam penelitian selaku subjek penelitian untuk menghasilkan LKPD elektronik berbasis model discovery learning pada materi statistika yang valid dan praktis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan LKPD elektronik sudah valid dari segi face validity, content validity, dan construct validity berdasarkan keterangan yang dibuat oleh para ahli selama expert review dan sudah melewati uji keterbacaan pada tahap one-to-one. Penerapan LKPD elektronik pada tahap small group menunjukkan kepraktisan dengan kriteria baik berdasarkan dari angket respon  peserta didik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa LKPD elektronik yang dikembangkan sangat baik atau praktis dan layak dipakai dalam proses pembelajaran serta memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. AbstractOne of the most necessary competencies is mathematical literacy, but students still have a low level of aptitude, especially in statistics material. An additional solution to this issue is the usage of digital worksheets built on discovery learning. The development of electronic worksheets based on valid and practical discovery learning is the aim of this research. The research method used is design research of the type of development studies, which consists of three stages, name preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Documents, walkthroughs, and the study’s methods for collecting data include assessment sheets. As many as 20 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru participated in the research as research subjects to produce electronic worksheets based on discovery learning models on valid and practical statistical material. The research findings show that electronic worksheets are valid in terms of face validity, content validity, and construct validity based on information made by experts during the expert review and have passed the readability test at the one-to-one stage. The application of electronic LKPD at the small group stage shows practicality with good criteria based on student response questionnaires. it come to an end that the developed electronic LKPD was very good or practical and ideal for use in the educational process and may enhance students' literacy in mathematics.
