Abstract

In this study, 115 participants were randomly chosen using a lottery system. Three research instruments, including a social support instrument with 32 valid items and a reliability coefficient of 0.769, were used to compile the study's findings on a Likert scale. Cronbach's alpha for the 26 self-compassion instrument items is 92. There were 15 legitimate elements included in the performance instrument, and its reliability coefficient was 0.878. Concurrent findings from two tests, with a Fcount of 5.203 (Fcount>Ftable) and a 0.007 significance level. These findings suggest a causal link between school counselors' social support and self-compassion and their effectiveness. The values (r) 0.437 and 0.243 with significance (p 0.007) and (p 0.009) demonstrate a favorable association between social support and performance and self-compassion to the performance, respectively. With an R2 of 0.298, we can say that social support and self-compassion contribute effectively to performance by 29.8 percent. With an adequate contribution of 21.4% for social support and just 8.4% for self-compassion, it is clear that social support has a stronger association with performance. This study found that school counselors in Central Jakarta who reported higher levels of social support and self-compassion also reported better levels of job satisfaction.

Abstract

The implementation of personalized e-learning at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, especially the Faculty of Islamic Religion, has contributed to this trend of electronic-based learning. The use of e-learning has challenges, namely the need to master digital competence and the responsibilities of lecturers in guiding and directing students during online learning. The analysis used mixed ANOVA to determine the increase in student personalization through e-learning design. the results of the study showed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of the control and experimental groups. The results of the one way ANOVA analysis show differences in personalized learning achievement according to students' learning needs and potential. The more students interact and ask questions outside of class, the more actively they are involved in independent learning from home. This condition is not found in conventional e-learning, which is only carried out modestly by lecturers and students. They create a fun and more communicative learning atmosphere complemented by the reliability of adequate e-learning platform. Highlights: Implementation of personalized e-learning at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo enhances electronic-based learning trend. Challenges include mastering digital competence and lecturer responsibilities in guiding online learning. Mixed ANOVA analysis reveals differing learning outcomes between control and experimental groups. Keywords: Personalized e-learning, Digital competence, Mixed Anova analysis, Independent learning

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the relevance of master's degree (S2) education to the challenges in the workforce through a tracer study of graduates from the year 2022. A tracer study is a survey conducted to gather data on graduates' perceptions regarding the alignment of their S2 education with job requirements and career development. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 72 graduates, with a response rate of 100%. The results show that all respondents were employed before starting their S2 education. Of the 52 respondents who answered, 43 (82.7%) stated that their S2 education was aligned with their job requirements and assisted in career development. Additionally, 26 (50%) graduates felt that higher-level education was needed for more advanced career positions. Meanwhile, 3 (5.8%) respondents indicated that their current jobs only required lower-level education. These findings indicate that S2 education plays a significant role in professional career development, although there is a noted need for further education at higher levels for certain positions. Recommendations include enhancing cooperation between educational institutions and industries to align curricula with specific job requirements and providing advanced education programs relevant to professional career demands

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze the evolution, research trends, and scientific impact of digital teaching and learning scaffolding through the application of bibliometric analysis. By employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 methodology, a total of 396 relevant journal articles published between 2013 and 2023 were identified from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish (PoP). The dataset was then analyzed using VOSviewer, with a specific focus on citation patterns, keyword co-occurrence, co-authorship networks, and thematic clusters. The bibliometric mapping revealed five dominant research clusters: (1) integration of digital technology in higher education, (2) learning strategies and their impact on students’ outcomes, (3) digital games and scaffolding approaches in children’s education, (4) teacher education development and practice, and (5) contextual influences in educational research. In addition, the study identifies prominent authors, highly influential publications, and major institutional as well as international collaborations, offering a comprehensive overview of the intellectual structure of the field. The findings highlight an increasing global interest in digital scaffolding in education, demonstrating its significant contributions to improving student engagement, cognitive development, problem-solving, and personalized learning experiences. Nevertheless, several challenges remain evident, particularly in terms of accessibility across diverse contexts, teacher readiness to adopt innovative pedagogies, and technological limitations within resource-constrained environments. This research contributes to the academic discourse by providing evidence-based insights and practical recommendations to optimize the implementation of digital scaffolding in contemporary educational settings. Moreover, it emphasizes the importance of continuous exploration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and adaptive learning systems to further strengthen the effectiveness and sustainability of digital scaffolding practices in the future.
