Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Talking Stick Model assisted by Flash Cards can improve the Learning Activity of Grade III Students at SDN 2 Linawan. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 24 grade III students at SDN 2 Linawan. The data analysis techniques used in this study were analysis of test results and analysis of observation results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning Indonesian using the Talking Stick learning model assisted by Flash Cards can improve the Learning Activity of Grade III Students at SDN 2 Linawan. This is indicated by the improvement in student learning outcomes in cycles I and II. In cycle I, 11 students were categorized as having achieved the Minimum Competency (KKM) with a percentage of 45.8% and in cycle II, 22 students were categorized as having achieved the Minimum Competency (KKM) with a percentage of 91%. This is because in cycle II, students have begun to improve in the learning process, most of the students have maximized their reading comprehension. So, student learning in cycle II has reached the Minimum Competency (KKM) value or the specified performance indicators. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is that using the Talking Stick learning model assisted by Flash Cards can increase the learning activity of grade III students at SDN 2 Linawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers as motivators in developing the reading skills of third-grade students and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' reading skills in Indonesian language lessons at Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto Elementary School. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with a field research approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a very important role as motivators in improving students' reading skills. Forms of motivation provided include giving praise, awards, and the application of interesting and enjoyable learning methods. Supporting factors for the success of teacher motivation include support from the school through morning literacy activities, the availability of reading corner facilities, and active student participation in reading activities. Inhibiting factors include low interest in reading at home, the influence of gadgets on learning habits, and limited learning time at school. Efforts made by teachers to overcome these obstacles are by increasing reading activities in class, building communication with parents, and providing ongoing motivation to students.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Education has brought significant implications to Indonesian learning practices, but still leaves complex conceptual, technological, and pedagogical challenges. This research aims to systematically explore the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of digital-based Indonesian learning, as well as evaluate the impact of digital platforms on motivation, language skills, and the effectiveness of learning tools. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with a qualitative thematic synthesis, based on 10 selected articles published between 2020 and 2025. The literature selection process follows the PRISMA 2020 flow, and data analysis involves manually extracting key findings from each study. The results of the study show that the main challenges include low teacher digital literacy, a lack of integration of technology pedagogy, student unpreparedness in independent learning, and limited digital access and inclusivity. On the other hand, opportunities include using technologies such as virtual reality, gamification, machine learning, and interactive media to increase motivation and learning engagement. This study concludes that digital Indonesian learning requires a multidimensional theory-based approach to create an adaptive, inclusive, and transformative learning system.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to describe the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in teaching and its relation to the learning interests of grade VII students at Muhammadiyah Pone Junior High School. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type to gain an in-depth understanding of creative learning strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the school context. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and principals, direct observation in teaching and learning activities, and analysis of supporting documents such as learning implementation plans and evaluation notes. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawn. The research procedure includes the preparation stage (determining the focus of the problem and research permits), the stage of data collection in the field, the stage of repeated analysis to find creative learning patterns, to the stage of verifying findings through triangulation of sources and methods. Main Findings: The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education Teachers apply various creative approaches, such as the use of Islamic stories, simulations of worship practices, visual media, and contextual discussions related to students' daily lives. Novelty/Originality of this study: Islamic Religious Education learning that is managed creatively, with the support of the principal, is able to foster student involvement and interest in learning in a more meaningful way, so that grade VII students have high enthusiasm, activeness in class, and positive learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

Game-based learning (GBL) has emerged as an innovative approach to engage students and enhance learning outcomes. With advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), educational games are increasingly capable of providing personalized learning experiences. This study investigates the role of AI in GBL and its impact on student engagement and academic performance. The research aims to evaluate how AI-powered educational games influence student motivation, retention, and interaction with learning materials. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative assessments of student performance and qualitative feedback from students and educators. The findings indicate that AI-enhanced educational games significantly increase student engagement, with an observed 25% improvement in participation and a 20% increase in academic achievement. Students reported higher levels of motivation, while teachers noted improved performance in both individual and group learning contexts. These results suggest that AI-driven personalization within educational games can effectively address individual learning needs, making learning more interactive and adaptive. The study concludes that while AI-powered games are a promising tool for enhancing education, they must be integrated with traditional teaching methods to maintain the essential human connection in the learning process. Future research should focus on the long-term effects of AI in GBL and explore the ethical considerations surrounding data privacy and AI biases.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam masih menjadi perhatian karena sebagian siswa menunjukkan kurangnya antusiasme dan keterlibatan dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada materi kewarisan dan kearifan Islam. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa adalah melalui penggunaan ice breaking tipe Tic Tac Toe. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan ice breaking tipe Tic Tac Toe terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam materi kewarisan dan kearifan Islam di kelas XII.8 SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa dan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum digunakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, korelasi, regresi linear sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan ice breaking tipe Tic Tac Toe dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik penerapan ice breaking tipe Tic Tac Toe, maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, penggunaan ice breaking tipe Tic Tac Toe dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
