Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Limboto, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya partisipasi aktif siswa serta kurangnya pemahaman mendalam terhadap materi PAI akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan interaksi sosial, tanggung jawab individu maupun kelompok, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pembelajaran kolaboratif juga memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai keislaman secara kontekstual dan aplikatif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to describe the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in teaching and its relation to the learning interests of grade VII students at Muhammadiyah Pone Junior High School. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type to gain an in-depth understanding of creative learning strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the school context. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and principals, direct observation in teaching and learning activities, and analysis of supporting documents such as learning implementation plans and evaluation notes. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawn. The research procedure includes the preparation stage (determining the focus of the problem and research permits), the stage of data collection in the field, the stage of repeated analysis to find creative learning patterns, to the stage of verifying findings through triangulation of sources and methods. Main Findings: The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education Teachers apply various creative approaches, such as the use of Islamic stories, simulations of worship practices, visual media, and contextual discussions related to students' daily lives. Novelty/Originality of this study: Islamic Religious Education learning that is managed creatively, with the support of the principal, is able to foster student involvement and interest in learning in a more meaningful way, so that grade VII students have high enthusiasm, activeness in class, and positive learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

The development of critical thinking and metacognitive skills is an important focus in professional teacher education, including in the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Professional Program (PPG PAI). However, there are still limited studies comparing the relative contribution of these two skills to the learning outcomes of prospective teachers. This study aims to analyze the significance of the role of critical thinking and metacognitive skills in shaping PPG PAI learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative research design with a correlational approach. Data were collected from 60 participants across two cohorts selected by purposive sampling. The data collection method was through tests. The research instrument was an integrated essay test. The data analysis technique used was inferential statistical analysis, analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results showed a statistically significant relationship (F = 12.828, p < 0.001) with a combined contribution of 28.6% of both variables to learning outcomes. Critical thinking had a slightly greater influence (Beta = 0.478) than metacognition (Beta = 0.499). This finding emphasizes the need for an integrated strategy for developing both skills in the PPG PAI curriculum to improve prospective teachers' reflective and analytical competencies. The implications of this research are relevant for improving teacher education programs to be more responsive to the needs of contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Marbel Sholat Anak dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam materi “Senangnya Belajar Praktik Sholat” di kelas III SD Negeri Solog. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 21 siswa kelas III. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Pada pra-siklus, ketuntasan hanya mencapai 22%, meningkat menjadi 76% pada siklus I, dan akhirnya mencapai 81% pada siklus II, sehingga melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan peneliti yaitu 80%. Peningkatan ini terlihat dari antusiasme, keterlibatan aktif, serta ketertarikan siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi Marbel Sholat yang menyajikan materi dengan tampilan interaktif, animasi, dan audio yang menarik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Marbel Sholat Anak efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, khususnya dalam praktik sholat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relasi kepemimpinan terhadap hasil pendidikan tinjauan Al-qur’an Hadis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka dengan menggunakan metode kajian  tafsir tematik terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa suatu relasi akan terjalin dengan baik apabila dalam sebuah kepemimpinan terdapat pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab dalam mengemban tugasnya dan dapat menjalin kerjasama atau hubungan baik terhadap siapapun sebagaimana pada penjelasan dalam Al-qur’an dan hadis untuk berbuat baik kepada sesama dan termasuk teladan yang baik dari Rasulullah terutama kepada para pemimpin organisasi/ sekolah. Keberhasilan suatu lembaga pendidikan ditentukan oleh Kepala sekolahnya. Selain peserta didik sebagai output sekolah, kepala sekolah juga berperan penting terutama dalam membangun relasi di berbagai pihak untuk mencapai mutu pendidikan. Bentuk relasi kepala sekolah diantaranya seperti mengadakan MOU dengan Puskesmas, Polres/Polsek terdekat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Pengelolaan Pendidikan Islamic Boarding School dan Implikasinya Terhadap Pengembangan Karakter dan Peningkatan Kecerdasan Spiritual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pengelolaan sistem pendidikan Islamic boarding school yang dilaksanakan oleh pihak madrasah sangat efektif meskipun pada sisi lain diperlukan pengelolaan yang lebih berorientasi pada pola pembinaan akademik dan non akademik (2) Pengembangan karakter peserta didik dalam sistem pendidikan boarding school di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Gorontalo memiliki beberapa program sholat berjamaah, tahsin, belajar baca tulis Al-Qur’an, memperlancar bacaan panjang pendek di dalam Al-Qur’an, program ta’lim program setoran hafalan jadi setiap program tahsin dilaksanakan peserta didik selalu menyetorkan hafalan mereka. Program mufrodat, peserta didik belajar Bahasa Arab, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Indonesia. (3) Dalam peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual kepada peserta didik para pengelola asrama memiliki strategi diantaranya: memberi teladan, pembiasaan yang baik, dan nasehat oleh pengelola asrama.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, kinerja dan ksejahteraan guru merupakan aspek yang penting untuk diperhatikan. Dalam mengukur pengukuran kinerja pegawai, pemerintah Provinsi Gorontalo telah mengembangkan sistem aplikasi untuk melakukan pengukuram kinerja pegawai di lingkungan pemerintah Provinsi Gorontalo salah satunya adalah guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya dampak penggunaan sistem pengukuran Kinerja (Siransija) terhadap kinerja dan kesejahteraan guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) se Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket diantaranya terkait penggunaan siransija, kinerja guru dan kesejahteraan guru. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru-guru SMA se-Kota Gorontalo yang telah menggunakan siransija dalam menjalani aktivitas harian. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS untuk pengujian hipotesis berupa uji t dan uji koefisien determinasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan siransija terhadap kinerja dan kesejahteraan guru melalui hasil analisis uji t dimana diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel untuk masing-masing variabel. Implikasi temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya penggunaan Siransija dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan kesejahteraan guru di SMAN. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih baik di daerah Provinsi Gorontalo.

Abstract

Background: Classroom-based language testing management is a complex pedagogical process integrating technical, ethical, and contextual considerations to ensure fair and meaningful assessment practices. This study emerges from the growing need to understand how teachers design, implement, and refine classroom assessments that balance objectivity, authenticity, and validity. Purpose: This research explores how teachers manage test formats, develop scoring rubrics, and maintain assessment validity through reflective and adaptive practices within diverse learning environments. Method: Employing a qualitative case study design, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analyses involving language teachers at the secondary school level. Results and Discussion: The findings reveal that effective classroom testing depends on teachers’ ability to harmonize objective and subjective assessment formats. Teachers used pilot testing and peer moderation to clarify instructions and standardize rubric interpretation, enhancing fairness and transparency. Adaptation of test formats based on learners’ linguistic abilities, learning styles, and sociocultural backgrounds further enriched the authenticity and inclusivity of assessment practices. Conclusions and Implications: classroom test management functions not merely as a measurement activity but as a reflective pedagogical practice that links assessment with learning improvement. This study contributes to theory by expanding the concept of integrated classroom assessment management. It offers practical insights for enhancing teachers’ assessment literacy in multilingual educational contexts.

Abstract

Background: Islamic education in Gorontalo Regency operates within a rich multilingual context, yet it remains insufficiently responsive to local linguistic resources, particularly the Gorontalo language. Although the local language holds significant potential to enhance students’ understanding of Islamic values and engagement, its integration into school management is hindered by a lack of formal policies, academic stigma, and limited supporting resources. Purpose: This study aims to examine how Islamic education management responds to local linguistic contexts and formulate an integrative management model that harmonizes Islamic values with local language practices. Method: Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach with a constructivist design, the research was conducted in Gorontalo Regency through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were collected from 20 informants, including madrasah principals, teachers, Ministry of Religious Affairs officials, and customary leaders. Results and Discussion: Findings reveal that 92% of respondents recognize the importance of the Gorontalo language, only 46% of institutions have implemented it in formal policies, and only 27% of teachers have received relevant training. The local language proves effective in teaching moral character (76%) and religious communication (82%), yet faces structural barriers such as the absence of regulatory support, academic marginalization of local languages, and a scarcity of bilingual teaching materials. Support from customary and religious leaders significantly strengthens cultural legitimacy. Moreover, using the local language demonstrably enhances student participation, comprehension of Islamic values, and religious behavior. Conclusions and Implications: Synthesizing empirical findings with theoretical frameworks—Funds of Knowledge, sociolinguistics, Contextual Teaching and Learning, and Fazlur Rahman’s thought—this study proposes a conceptual model: “Locally Linguistically Responsive Islamic Education Management.” The model comprises four pillars: institutional policy, contextual learning management, culturally grounded teacher capacity building, and socio-religious collaboration. It bridges the universality of Islamic values with local cultural specificity, contributing to both the preservation of indigenous languages and the contextual strengthening of Islamic identity. The study recommends that Islamic education adopt inclusive, context-sensitive management approaches to foster meaningful and sustainable learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based teaching performance and behavior measures to support classroom learning evaluation and management. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on Design-Based Research (DBR), this research was conducted at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) IAIN Gorontalo through four stages: needs analysis, initial model design, limited trials, and improvement evaluation. Data was collected through classroom observations, audio-visual recordings, learning activity logs, and interviews with lecturers and students. The analysis was carried out qualitatively and computationally with pattern recognition and learning analytics techniques using multimodal data. The results of the study produced an annotated audio-visual dataset and a prototype of the Teacher Trainer Dashboard that is able to display indicators of teaching behavior visually, including teacher movements, speech styles, and interaction patterns in the classroom. Initial evaluations by eight researchers showed a positive response to the intuitive and non-judgmental design. This system is considered to be able to support teachers' professional reflection through objective and real-time feedback, without replacing the primary role of educators. Thus, the development of AI-based performance and behavioral measures contributes to the improvement of teacher professionalism and the application of ethical, adaptive, and evidence-based learning analytics in the Islamic education environment.
