Abstract

This research makes use of the Method for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution, also known as the TOPSIS approach, in order to discover the most suitable site for a company's warehouse. Following the establishment of the criteria for the selection of the warehouse location, weights were allotted to each of the criteria. The min-max method was utilized to do data normalization once it had been collected for each prospective location. After constructing the decision matrix with the weighted normalized values and determining the ideal and non-ideal solutions for each criterion, the results were then presented. Following the calculation of the Euclidean distance between each potential location and the ideal and non-ideal solutions, the TOPSIS formula was used to determine the relative proximity between each of the potential locations. The site of the potential location that was the highest relative closeness to the optimum solution was chosen to be the optimal location for the warehouse. By employing this strategy, the company will be able to make an educated decision regarding the location of their warehouse, which will, in the long run, result in improved operational efficiency and cost savings.

Abstract

The phenomenon of learning loss is no stranger to the world of education, the presence of Covid-19 has exacerbated this condition. If it is not anticipated, it will have an impact on decreasing the quality of the nation's generation. This research aims to analyze the policies of the Indonesian government and teachers in tackling learning loss in students. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with metasynthetic data analysis techniques. This study found that the Indonesian government's policies are 1) online learning; 2) implementation of three curricula; 3) teacher training and mentoring; and 4) provision of textbooks and digital teaching tools. Meanwhile, innovations made by teachers include 1) psychosocial assistance; 2) utilization of technology; 3) approach; 4) design varied learning; 5) numerical literacy assistance; 6) blended learning; 7) home visit; and 8) development of learning media. Thus, to minimize learning loss, government policies and teacher innovation are needed.

Abstract

This study presents a novel application of the Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) Weighted Sum Model (WSM) technique to assist students in selecting suitable university housing options. We identified five key criteria—location, affordability, amenities, room type, and social environment—based on a survey of prospective students' preferences. Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), we calculated the weights for each criterion, reflecting the priorities of the surveyed students. We then applied the MCDM-WSM methodology to rank the housing options by calculating the weighted scores for each criterion. Our findings reveal a ranked list of university housing options that can guide students in making well-informed decisions based on their needs and preferences. The study demonstrates the significance of using advanced decision-making techniques in transforming complex decision-making processes into more structured, transparent, and reliable approaches. Furthermore, it highlights potential research gaps and future research directions to enhance the quality of choices and cater to the diverse needs of students in selecting university housing.

Abstract

Muntuk Village is located in Dlingo District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Muntuk Village is located in the east of Bantul City. Meanwhile, most of the residents of Dusun Muntuk work as day laborers, farmers, gardeners, wood and bamboo craftsmen. The majority of the population of Muntuk Hamlet work as wood craftsmen (furniture) and bamboo (woven) craftsmen. However, there are also those who work as farmers and traders, but that is only a side job because their main job is wood and bamboo craftsman. The people of Muntuk Village, the majority of whom work as wood craftsmen (meuble) and bamboo craftsmen (anyman) have problems, namely the lack of knowledge and understanding and access to promote these handicraft products using social media, resulting in less than optimal sales and the community's income does not develop. To overcome this, the local government can increase the entrepreneurial potential of the Muntuk Village community through micro and cultural policies, providing facilities, providing education and knowledge to the community in collaboration with surrounding campuses. The government also needs to pay attention to entrepreneurs so that they can use social media as a marketing medium so that they can expand the market more broadly which will ultimately help the economy of the Muntuk Village community.

Abstract

Soyo Hamlet is led by Mr. Suranto as the head of the hamlet. The hamlet itself consists of eight RTs with 173 family heads. The hamlet is located in a mountainous area in the Kulon Progo district. Soyono Hamlet is bordered by Sidomulyo Hamlet and Mount Kelir Hamlet. Soyo Hamlet, which is located in a mountainous area, has many problems. One of the problems that have come to our attention is the problem of vulnerability to natural disasters. Natural disasters that often occur in the village are landslides. It is feared that in the rainy season like today, heavy rains can cause landslides. Based on the above problems, this community service designs and implements a landslide early warning tool. This tool is made using the main component is a microcontroller which is used as a data processor, a sensor uses a potentiometer to detect ground movement, and a siren. In addition to installing landslide equipment, this community service also provides lessons on landslide recovery

Abstract

There is a tour that forms the border between the Nangsri Kidul and Nangsri Lor combinations, namely the Nangsri Lake tour. Nangsri Lake is one of the tours located on the border of the Nangsri Kidul and Nangsri Lor Villages, Candirejo Village, Kapanewon Semanu, Gunung Kidul Regency. Nangsri Lake is surrounded by large shady trees so the atmosphere is very cool and beautiful. The view at Nangsri Lake is also soothing to the eye. But unfortunately not many Yogyakarta residents know about the existence of Telaga Nangsri. Due to the corona pandemic that hit Indonesia in the Yogyakarta area, Nangsri Lake is increasingly empty of visitors. This is what underlies the KKN group and UMY Community Service Time to introduce Telaga Nangsri tourism to the people of Yogyakarta and outside Yogyakarta. To introduce and enliven Nangsri Lake tourism, our group made several work programs. The first work program is to create content for the tourism promotion of Nangsri Lake. The second work program is to make a photobooth that can be used as a photo facility at Nangsri Lake. The activity program can increase visitors to Nangsri Lake.

Abstract

Nangsri Kidul Village is one of the villages in Semanu District, Gunung Kidul Regency. The majority of people in Nangsri Kidul Village work as farmers. Apart from farmers, there are also people who open businesses such as USEP KM Cassava Chips and USEP KM Peyek. However, in Nangsri Kidul Village there are problems faced by the community, namely production technology that is still simple and packaging is still simple. In the USEP KM, the financial administration aspect is not well organized, the product packaging is simple, so it is less attractive and the product is not well protected, and the production technology is still manual, not using a dryer. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out counseling, training, and knowledge of product packaging standards for USEP KM Cassava Chips and USEP KM Projects and the provision of production and packaging equipment. The targets to be achieved are: i) Understanding of product packaging standards; ii) Using modern production technology. This target is achieved through: i) Dissemination and provision of standard product packaging samples; ii) Technological training and making cassava chip dryers and chips. The results of the community service were i) USEP KM was given directions and training on how to pack the product properly and made a product brand label so that the product is known by consumers and the product is not easily damaged; ii) USEP KM was briefed on a more modern technology and developed an automatic dryer to reduce the oil in cassava chips and dents.
