Abstract

Tabulampot atau tanaman buah dalam pot dapat menjadi salah satu solusi bagi masyarakat yang mempunyai hobi berkebun namun memiliki lahan pekarangan yang sempit. Kondisi ini dialami oleh masyarakat di perkotaan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan perkotaan dengan budidaya tabulampot sebagai kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di perumahan Citra Batam, Batam mempunyai tujuan : (1) Menambah minat dan pemahaman warga sasaran mengenai budidaya tabulampot pada pekarangan atau teras rumah, (2) Meningkatkan skill warga sasaran dalam mempraktekan sistem tabulampot pada pekarangan rumah masing-masing dan (3) Mendorong warga sasaran untuk mejadikan budidaya tabulampot sebagai peluang bisnis lokal yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga. Kegiatan terdiri dari pemaparan teori dan praktek atau demo atau tabulampot. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan peserta memahami materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

This study proposes the factors that influence employees‘ career success in the manufacturing industry, the factors are mentoring, soft skills, and Self-efficacy. The research was carried out to examine employers’ opinions regarding the importance of mentoring, soft skills, and Self-efficacy in Batam. Data analysis use multiple regression and 100 respondent. Results show that Mentoring and Self-efficacy were not significantly related to career success. Only Soft skill (English, information technology, communication, and leadership) was significantly related to a successful career.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of self-motivation, self-efficacy, and career planning on career success. This research was conducted by FEB alumni who had completed a tracer study and provided testimonials while studying at FEB UMM. The sample was taken from 5% of the 2300 population, namely 165. The technique for determining the sample was to distribute questionnaires via Google Forms to all respondents contacted via WA and Cloud. After 165 questionnaires were filled, the data collection process was stopped. The analytical tool used is multiple regression with SPSS. The research results show that self-motivation has no effect on career success, while self-efficacy and career planning have a positive effect on career success.

Abstract

Abstract. As an educator, lecturers must have competence in carrying out their duties through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This study examines the Antecendent Self Efficacy and its Effect on Lecturer Performance. In this study, the population was private university lecturers in Batam and the sample was 122 permanent lecturers. The approach of quantitative research methods, questionnaires distributed to respondents as a way of collecting data. The result is that the three variables, competence, motivation and work engagement on performance have a positive and insignificant effect, while on self efficacy, competence has a positive and insignificant effect, motivation and work engagement have a significant positive effect on self efficacy, and self efficacy has a positive and insignificant effect on performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bulan Ramadhan mempunyai dampak positif terhadap kepedulian social di lingkungan masyarakat. Seorang dosen mempunyai tugas pengajaran, penelitian dan juga pengabdian Masyarakat, dalam Pengabdian masyarakat dituntut dapat menselaraskan dengan kegiatan positif yang tepat sasaran sesuai dengan kepentingan. Sekolah Islam Nabilah Batam, dalam hal ini di bulan Ramadhan mengadakan Kunjungan dan Bakti Sosial ke Muallaf Center Hinterland di bawah Yayasan Batam Cendikia Madani, yang ada di Jambatan III Barelang, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau, pada hari Rabu, tanggal 12 April 2023 yang diikuti oleh 1 Direksi Sekolah Islam Nabilah, 10 Pengurus NPS ( Nabilah Peduli Sesama) dan guru serta 5 dosen UNIBA. Bantuan yang diberikan sejumlah 40 paket sembako dan uang Rp 50.000 x 40 orang mualaf di Mualaf Center. Kunjungan ini dengan tujuan membangun silaturahim dan memberikan bantuan sembako dan uang sebagai bentuk kepedulian social. Metode yang dipakai adalah Kunjungan Bakti Sosial ke lokasi. Dengan Kunjungan ini kita dapat meringankan beban pembiayaan hidup dan juga memberikan pengarahan keislaman dari tim Sekolah Islam Nabilah kepada saudara seiman di Muallaf Center, Jembatan III Barelang, Pulau Batam, Kepulauan Riau. Kata Kunci: Bakti Sosial, Kepedulian Sosial, Muallaf Center ABSTRACT The month of Ramadan has a positive impact on social awareness in the community. A lecturer has the duties of teaching, research and also community service. In community service, he is required to be able to align it with positive activities that are right on target according to his interests. Nabilah Batam Islamic School, in this case in the month of Ramadhan, held a Visit and Social Service to the Hinterland Muallaf Center under the Batam Cendikia Madani Foundation, which is at Bridge III Barelang, Batam City, Riau Islands, on Wednesday, April 12 2023 which was attended by 1 Director of the Nabilah Islamic School, 10 NPS (Nabilah Cares for Others) administrators and teachers and 5 UNIBA lecturers. The assistance provided was 40 basic food packages and IDR 50,000 x 40 converts at the Mualaf Center. This visit was aimed at building friendship and providing basic food assistance and money as a form of social concern. The method used is a Social Service Visit to the location. With this visit we can ease the burden of living expenses and also provide Islamic guidance from the Nabilah Islamic School team to fellow believers at the Muallaf Center, Jembatan III Barelang, Batam Island, Riau Islands. Abstract

ABSTRAK Gerakan Peduli Sosial dilakukan oleh Sekolah Islam Nabilah kepada seluruh karyawan iBPL di Lingkungan Perumahan Dutamas, Batam Kota, pada tanggal 29 Maret 2023. Kepedulian Sosial ini merupakan program Tahunan dari sekolah, terhadap karyawan di lingkungan Dutamas. Karena secara lokasi sangat berdekatan dan saling memberikan kemanfaatan satu sama lain. Kegiatan ini mempunyai tujuan meningkatkan kepedulian social di masa bulan Ramadhan. Program tahunan yang dilaksanan ini menjadi program tetap Sekolah Islam Nabilah, Batam kepada beberapa instansi/Lembaga, termasuk internal dan eksternal lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang dipakai dalam pengabdian masyarakat kali ini adalah bakti social. Dalam kegiatan peduli social ini, berupa memeberikan sembako sejumlah seluruh karyawan iBPL Dutamas, yaitu 85 orang yang meliputi : karyawan kantor 4 orang, 44 petugas keamanan, 26 petugas kebersihan. Dalam Kegiatan itu hadir Kepala Sekolah TK, SD,SMP, SMA dan Direktur Pendidikan Sekolah Islam Nabilah Batam. Diharapkan pembagian 85 paket sembako, yang terdiri dari : beras, minyak, minuman, gula, serta mi instan. Diharapkan Kegiatan Peduli Sosial dengan pembagian sembako pada 74 karyawan iBPL ini akan meningkatkan hubungan iBPL dan Sekolah Islam Nabilah yang beroperasi di lingkungan sama, serta meningkatkan kepedulian social dalam menyambut bulan Ramadhan. Kata Kunci: Gerakan Peduli Sosial, Kepedulian Sosial, Program Tahunan ABSTRACT The Social Care Movement was carried out by the Nabilah Islamic School for all iBPL employees in the Dutamas Housing Environment, Batam City, on March 29, 2023. This Social Care is an annual program from the school, for employees in the Dutamas environment. Because the location is very close and mutually provide benefits to each other. The method used is Social Service. This activity has the aim of increasing social awareness during the month of Ramadan. This annual program has become a permanent program for the Nabilah Islamic School, Batam for several agencies/institutions, including the internal and external school environment. In this social care activity, in the form of providing groceries to all iBPL Dutamas employees, namely 85 people including: 4 office employees, 44 security officers, 26 cleaners. The activity was attended by Principals of TK, SD, SMP, SMA and the Director of Education of the Nabilah Batam Islamic School. It is expected that 85 basic food packages will be distributed, consisting of: rice, oil, drinks, sugar and instant noodles. It is hoped that the Social Care Activity by distributing groceries to 74 iBPL employees will improve the relationship between iBPL and the Nabilah Islamic School which operates in the same environment, as well as increase social awareness in welcoming the month of Ramadan. Abstract

This study used audit quality as an moderating variable to examine the effect of financial distress, firm size and debt policy on tax avoidance. Tax avoidance is proxied by the cash effective tax rate, financial distress is proxied by the Z-Score model, firm size is proxied by the natural logarithm of assets, debt policy is proxied by the debt to asset ratio and Audit quality is proxied by the big four Public Accounting Firm (KAP). The population in this research is energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020 with a total of 32 companies. The research sample consisted of 11 companies obtained by using purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is linear regression with a moderation model. The results showed that partially financial distress, firm size and debt policy have a significant effect on tax avoidance. While audit quality is not able to moderate the effect of financial distress, firm size and debt policy significantly affect tax avoidance. However, audit quality can strengthen the effect of financial distress, firm size and debt policy on tax avoidance. This situation is a yellow light and even a red light for the government. The government needs to review tax regulations and provide stimulus to taxpayers so that tax revenues increase. For taxpayers, it is necessary to be more careful in carrying out tax avoidance so as not to be included in tax audits and courts as a result of carrying out excessive tax avoidance.Keywords: Financial Distress, Firm Size, Debt Policy, Audit Quality, Tax Avoidance

Abstract

Globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi termasuk internet mempengaruhi bisnis dan organisasi termasuk UMKM sehingga UMKM perlu membuat terobosan, inovasi, beradaptasi, berubah dan membuat strategi baru dalam pemasaran produk dan jasa agar dapat berkompetisi dan mempertahankan kelangsungan bisnisnya. Searah dengan perkembangan teknologi digital di era globalasisasi ini maka UMKM terus berupaya untuk mengadopsi dan melakukan transformasi media pemasaran berbasis teknologi digital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengabdian masyarakat dengan membuatkan aplikasi teknologi digital e-commerce menggunakan website dan pendampingan. Transformasi media pemasaran berbasis teknologi digital e-commerce akan memberikan manfaat bagi UMKM Batik Kampung Kelembak untuk meraih pelanggan dengan segmentasi pasar yang lebih luas, bisnis dapat dilakukan 24 jam tanpa batas ruang dan waktu serta dapat menghemat biaya pemasaran.

Abstract

Leadership style, motivation in working and employee work discipline are classic problems faced by various organizations in achieving performance targets, therefore HR that continues to be developed is one of the keys so that the wheels of the organization run as expected, employees who do not feel comfortable at work, are unable to improve their careers, and work pressure is too heavy will not be able to carry out their responsibilities optimally. The current research is intended to see how much influence the leadership style, motivation, and work discipline have on employee performance through HR development within the Riau Islands Provincial Government with a population of 5,108 people, while the sample was taken 290 with the convenience sampling method, respondents were given a questionnaire distributed via the Google Form link with a data collection time of about one month, then the data was processed and analyzed further. Based on the results of data processing, it shows that the results of hypothesis testing on leadership style variables, motivation, work discipline, and HR development on employee performance have a significant effect, this is as shown in the t test results. The same results are shown in the F test, namely that there is a significant effect simultaneously on the variables of leadership style, motivation, work discipline, and HR development on employee performance variables. Next, in the results of the intervening variable hypothesis test, all regressions show a significant relationship between variables in accordance with the requirements. Furthermore, the test result of the adjusted R2 value is 0.615, which means that the variables of leadership style, motivation, and work discipline and HR development used in general are able to provide 61.5% of the influence on employee performance. However, this research still has many limitations, the number of samples is still too small from the population, the variables used are limited. Recommendations that can be taken into consideration in further research are in the selection of samples, especially for respondents, can be focused based on the OPD of the Riau Islands Provincial Government.

Abstract

Kunjungan Edukatif sebagai program pembelajaran outdoor dari Sekolah Islam Nabilah, Batam, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 - 4 Desember 2022. Pada kunjungan kali ini siswa berjumlah 150 anak dan 45 orang guru mengadakan kegiatan penanaman pohon mangrove pada kawasan ekowisata lingkungan pantai dan hutan mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu yang beralamat di Kampung tua bakau serip pantai, Jl. Hang Lekiu, RT.02/RW.10, Sambau, Kecamatan Nongsa, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau. Kegiatan ini merupakan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman (experiential learning). Hal ini akan lebih efektif dan efisien katika siswa bukan hanya mendapatkan teori saja tetapi langsung praktek, sehingga pengalaman langsung. Adapun manfaat yang dapat diambil dari kunjungan edukatif penanaman mangrove dari Sekolah Islam Nabilah berupa ini adalah: meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya keutuhan ekosistem, memberikan pengalaman baru pada siswa mengenai tatacara penanaman pohon mangrove, serta menambah pengetahuan siswa mengenai pengelolaan buah mangrove.
