Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain the data, the process and discuss about: crop cultivation, the level of production, carrot plating and marketing in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok.This research method is on descriptive study. The population of this research are all carrot farmers in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok.The research include: 1) Crop cultivation carrot it selft, in the fields with a hoe to cultivate the land (59,85%). 2) Before the farmers planting their plant, he should sprinkled the soil with fertilized TSP plus KCL (56,1%). 3) To maintenance the plant farmers was eradicate the pest with insecticides and weeding after one month and thinning when the plants are two month (76,52%). 4) The production level in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok are 8 up to 12 ton/ha (61%). 5) carrot the of level marketing are Rp 7000,-/kg and place marketing do in the traditional marketing (60,88%) in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok.

Abstract

This research used descriptive correlational research. The populations in this research were all parents in SMP N 2 Batang Anai at eighth grade students are 185 peoples. The sample of respondents was taken by purposive sampling technique by taking classes that have average values below the KKM and the average value over the KKM. The samples taken are two classes, VIII.2 and VIII.3 which has about 74 students. Based on the results of correlation and regression analysis, the obtained results as follows: first, there is a significant and positive relationship between the motivation of parents of student learning outcomes in social studies in SMPN 2 Batang Anai district of Padang Pariaman because thitung>ttabel; (4.686> 1.666), including moderate strength (r = 0.483) and the contribution which includes a small (23.4%), second, there is a significant and positive relationship between parental income on student learning outcomes in social studies in SMPN 2 Batang Anai District Padang Pariaman because t hitung >ttabel; (2.569> 1.666), the strength of the relationship is low (r = 0.290) and the contribution is very small (8.4%) and third there is a significant and positive effect the motivation of parents and parental income together toward student learning outcomes in social studies in SMPN 2 Batang Anai Sub District Padang Pariaman because fhitung>ftabel (12.249> 3.20), the strength of the relationshsip between two variables is to Y variables including moderate (r = 0.506) and the contributions made small (25.7%).

Abstract

This research purposes to get data and information such as : 1) income society 2) knowledge 3) land manufacture before and after funetion change of land. Kind of this research is descriptive and become of populalation this research is the village of doing function change of land in Nagari Taruang-taruang Kecamatan Rao Kabupaten Pasaman Timur consist of some the villages such as: Mudiak Tampang, Sawah Ateh, Soriak. Example of district take in toward methode purpose sampling is the district more many doing function change of land is kampuang Sawah Ateh and kampuang Soriak. Example of respondence take in totally sampling as big as 116 respondance totally KK that doing function change of land. Produce this research found : 1) Income farmer society before function change of land in medium is about Rp. 2.000.000  – Rp. 3.499.000 like53 people (45,69%). White after function change of land become fisheries land included high is ≥ Rp. 5.500.000 – Rp. 6.500.000 like 73 people (62,93%). 2) knowledge of society before and after function change of land is not known about agriculture land and fishery is 84 people (72,41%). Best before and after function change of land the society harvest of produce agriculture and fishery two times in one years is 116 people (100%). 3) Before function change of land the largeagriculture lan society 15 ≥ 2 Ha like 58 people (50%)  and while after function change of landthe large lan of society 1 Ha is 53 people (45,69).

Abstract

Waste Management in the  Dadok Tunggul Hitam  Koto Tangah  Padang This study aims to determine the Solid Waste Management in the  Dadok Tunggul Hitam Koto Tangah Padang.This research is descriptive. Population in this research is the a family that is in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Koto Tangah. Totaling 3262 KK. Samples were taken in two ways, the samples were taken by purposive sampling areas (designation) by taking 3 RW in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam. 1(RW III 492), 2(RW IV 368), 3(RW V 306). The reason this area is the determination of the sample due to the three areas mentioned above is a region that has the highest population in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam, while the proportion of respondents in a sample taken at 10% of total, so the population of 117 families. Techniques of data collection through questionnaires or instrument. Teknik analyzed using percentage formula.The research found that: (1) Awereness of the waste management in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Koto Tangah Padang on both criteria, with a percentage of 85,52% (2) Public participation on waste management in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Koto Tangah is at criteria quite well, with a percentage of 73,74%, and (3) the motivation for waste management in urban dadok koto hands of stubble on criteria including good, with a percentage of 68,66%.From the above discussion, it can be concluded that : (1) Public awareness of the average score is 3,421 with 85,52% of respondents rate the performance on both criteria. This shows that waste management including good and this needs to be maintained and preserved. (2) Community participation is the average score of 3,09 with 77,24% respondents level of achievement on the criteria that are pretty good. This shows that community participation in waste management including good enough and it needs to be fixed, and (3) the motivation average score is 2,761 with 69,03% of respondents level of achievement on the criteria that are pretty good. This suggests that the motivation of the community in waste management including good enough and it needs to be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of farmers in irrigation development Anai Dua in Nagari  Sintuk Toboh Gadang District Padang Pariaman. This research is descriptive. The population in this study were all farmers living in Sintuk Toboh Gadang, amounting to 1.536 people. Sample were taken in 2 ways, the sample area is Jorong Balai Usang, Tanjung Pisang dan Batang Tapakis located near irrigation development, while the sample were taken with a proportional random sampling technique with a proportion of 10% so that the total sample of 66 people. The research found that: 1) Participation from the attention of farmers on irrigation Anai Dua average score was 3.39 with 67.68% respondents level of achievement on the criteria that are good, 2) participation of responsibility farmer seen its average score is 3.86 with 77.27% of respondents level of achievement that is in pretty good criteria and 3) Participation views of farmers on irrigation development action Anai Dua average score was 2.85 with 57.05% of respondents achievement levels that are at criteria are less well
